On the Grid : Cantina Beach

"Miami’s only oceanfront, coastal Mexican restaurant, Cantina Beach will leave you speechless. The vibrant colors of the food placed on the backdrop of the pristine ocean view is an experience all on its own. Make sure to try the guac and the pork taquitos. The tequilier (yes, a tequila specialist) has put together an impressive 110 tequila selection. You can never have too much tequila." - Maas Studio

We were served by the kindest waiter who asked us to address him as "D." I regretfully don't know how to spell his full name, but he helped accommodate us and worked with the manager to ensure we were highly taken care of and given respectful, considerate service. The watermelon salad my friend received supposedly tasted so bait he couldn't recommend. The duck tacos were average compared to tacos made by competition but are delicious and recommendable! The flan was incredibly made and highly recommendable. It's one of the best places I've had it in Miami.

This restaurant is OK, but not great. Overall, the food is good and the beach-front location is beautiful for a sunset dinner. We recommend the tacos al pastor and the quesadilla with steak. However, the two heart burns from our visit were: 1. The guacamole is not made at the table (as advertised on the menu), and 2. They did not dry the wine glass before pouring the wine and bringing it to the table; the waiter made it seem like I was crazy for asking for a dry wine glass

We had an unexpected trip to the Ritz. It was a Friday night. The restaurant was empty and seemed perfect for a late night bite. The crispy shrimp and guac were delicious. The ceviche could’ve been better. Service was good and the drinks were alright

We went there on a busy Sat aftn after walking along the beach, the server accommodated us with an umbrella shaded beach couch seat. We ordered margarita and beer, the drink was a bit too sweet and too much ice for $18 price tag. Our server was very friendly and offered free chips and salsa while we waited for our food to arrive. The chi Ken fajitas were well flavored but a bit on dry side, but the beef barbacoa tacos were delicious...just wished there was more than 2 on a serving. Overall we enjoyed the ambience and the courteous service, and it's nice to have food and drinks on the ⛱️. But the $95 bill is a bit on the 💵 side.

Went here for the tequila tasting at the bar and ended up staying for dinner. The octopus ceviche was outstanding. The chicken mole was also delicious. I was most impressed by the tequila selection and very authentic margaritas (more lime taste and not overly sweet). Would go here again for sure.

I’ve been here a few times and I’m always happy to come back. The service is amazing, the staff is always nice and attentive. I absolutely love their chips & salsa. All the waiters have a smile on their face and it really makes a difference. The night time manager was very serviable and polite. Food is great. My favorite cocktail is their Pina Colada. Great job to the team 👏🏼 Happy customer here !!

Chill beach restaurant. The actual ocean view is obscured by shrubbery. The portion sizes are BIG and they give you chips & salsa to start with. Service was good and fast. Watermelon margarita was tasty!

Cantina Beach at the ritz Key Biscayne knocks it out of the park with exceptional service, a lively bar scene, and an unbeatable location! Had a cute tequila tasting Friday night. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun. While the food is solid, it's the only aspect that doesn't quite live up to the excellence of the other elements. Still, a great spot for a fun night out or a quick bite with a view!
