Cantina La Crèche

We had a bottle of well chilled local Petite Arvine of excellent quality in this wine bar in the old town of Bard a Friday evening mid August of 2025.The waiters are sympathetic and very knowledgeable and the choice of local wines is vast. Highly recommended if you are looking for information on wine from the Aosta Valley.

Can't get enough of their grissini. However I have to admit their wine selection and cocktails are meeting our great expectations.

When in Bard you don’t have to look for somewhere else. Great in all aspects…!!

Lovely afternoon stop for a couple glasses of excellent vino and a delicious charcuterie board. The staff was very friendly and put up with our terrible Italian (plus they spoke excellent English)!

We had the pleasure of visiting this charming restaurant in Fort De Bard in December 2024. Lucca, the sommelier, truly elevated our experience with his exceptional knowledge . The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. A must-visit spot for anyone passing through! Issam

I stayed at the Dimora Gilles apartment, literally next door. The service was exceptional and I had the large cutting board of local cheese, meats along with bread and breadsticks. I tried the local wine recommended to me and the only disappoint was the cantina wasn’t open again the following night! The food and wine were exceptional, the help and service matched them and the price of €36 for a large cutting board, and 4 glasses of wine were great value. Highly recommended and definitely dog friendly.

Locale molto carino nel borgo di Bard, lungo la salita per il castello. Ha tavolini sia al chiuso sia all'aperto. Abbiamo preso il tagliere con affettati e formaggi tipici, buono ed abbondante. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo.
