Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Food was amazing but missing a bit of a wow factor for the price. Still very high quality food but the "mains" were lacking some flavor. We would still go back anytime visiting sifnos as it is beautiful and their wine list is spectacular.

For the name of God just book in advance and visit this place!!! My fiancée and myself visited this place and it exceeded our expectations!!!! We have been to restaurants around the world but this one is definitely one of the best we have been to!!! Excellent staff, professional, full of smiles and positive energy! They enjoy themselves and you can see the happiness on their face when you enjoy yourselves. The food is made by fresh ingredients and the combination of flavours creates an explosion of taste and awesomeness!!! The secluded beach, the stars and moon create an out of this world experience!! TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT!!! Μπράβο παιδιά είστε καταπληκτικοί!!!

The setting, the food, the service, were all absolutely top notch. One of the best experiences dining that my wife and I have had. Sommelier was awesome allowing us to try varieties we were less familiar with.

Greek cuisine elevated. Beautiful setting, fantastic people, delicious wine and knowledgeable sommelier. Kitchen was a vibe. The chefs and the staff are doing a fantastic work in this restaurant. Truly delightful dinner. Thank you for the loveliest dinner!

I am not a first time reviewer nor one to jump on and give five star reviews. I am fortunate to eat at many amazing restaurants from time to time in various locations. Cantina encompasses what a multi star Michelin restaurante should be with the raw feel of where your meal is coming from. From the ground...from the sea...from the kitchen of a team that knows that everyone creation counts. The sommelier prepares a pairing that automatically matches the dish...sometimes the wine leads sometimes the wine follows. I believe the wine compliments and creates dishes. Cantina has perfected this art. If you're thinking about it...stop...get your reservation because they aren't easy. Go make a lifetime memory that you will never forget. Of course I was with the most beautiful woman in the world so my perspective may be skewed....but I know a michelín meal when I enjoy one!

Scenic spot right on a remote beach, greatly decorated. When we visited only set menu was available. Some dishes were delicious (like the marinated amberjack, the homemade matsata pasta or the xinomizithra ice cream with thyme honey - our top favourite!!), while we found a few others to be a bit out of context (like the fava crepe or the chickpea panisse). Overall an interesting dining experience (on the pricey side). Service 10/10.

We have been dining in Cantina since it was established and we’ve always found that the raison d’etre, the food, location and philosophy of the restaurant offers a unique dining experience in Sifnos. The concept of sustainability in an island that has limited resources is outstanding and it is definitely worth a visit. Cantina offers an all around experience that works, from the walk up to the plate, the service and staff are always friendly as well as informed about their plates, describing the unique ingredients used in each plate in detail. Amazing job!!!

As you come through the dirt path or down the rocky steps of Kastro, on a small cliff overlooking the sea sits a quaint restaurant called Cantina. Spacious dining with a cultivating design, from the plates to the tables, to the chairs, and the perfect ocean breeze. Cantina offers by far the most unique dining experience you can find on the island, with exceptional dishes, ingredients, and staff. Excellent wine pairings done by a great sommelier, you unlock another level of taste that you may not have known you could enjoy. I implore you to make reservations in advance and when actually dining thoroughly reading through the menu as it is almost always different with locally sourced ingredients daily.
