Check out the world’s most unusual wineries - SilverKris

"Perched on a cliff more than 395 m above sea level on the Amalfi Coast, this winery pairs dramatic coastal panoramas over the Tyrrhenian Sea with high-quality Italian wines—an experience that may challenge visitors with a fear of heights but rewards them with exceptional views." - SilverKris

The winery has incredible views and interesting way of harvesting the grapes. We paid €165pp for tour, cooking class, and lunch/wine tasting. We only learned to roll pasta, and they did the rest. The lunch was less than average and they do not offer the “better” wines in the tasting. For those of us who visit wineries in the world, we want to try the “better” wines so we can purchase a case and ship back home. We are not going to buy wine we haven’t tasted, especially when there were eight people at the tasting and they could have easily opened one bottle to try. We have been to other wineries in Italy who offer the “better” wines (at an even higher price point) proudly. Disappointing, considering we paid a driver to take us 1.5 hours each way from Sorrento.

Definitely the best view from a vineyard we've ever been to, and an interesting history as well. The tour of the winery was well done and our guide was great. As expected, our lunch and tasting that followed was also very nice. The views from the restaurant were a wonderful compliment to the meal, and each wine in our tasting was explained nicely. I wish we would have had a red in our tasting but that's not a big negative to the overall quality and presentation we received. Furore is a little bit of a pain to get to as you either need to pay quite a premium for the taxis in the region (compared to other areas) or wait for a bus and hope that they're on-time. But would highly recommend you take the time to visit as it's worth the trip

The wine tour was quite nice and the tour guide was kind. At the tasting at the restaurant across the street, the waiters were extremely friendly and the view was great with a very nice terrace (but no different than other views along the clear). The wine was very good. The food was quite poor, especially for the price. Nearly 100 euros per head, very small portions, and not very tasty. Only a minimal discount for non-drinkers, so given the price I'd say it wasn't worth it.

Google
Very cool experience to come and learn about this winery. Best of all, the tour is free! The restaurant next door is where you can buy each glass. I didn’t go with their tasting tour as it allowed me more flexibility. We went to the restaurant to get some glasses to try and then came back to buy some bottles. Well worth it and very unique! Need a reservation though (for the free winery tour). Our group was the only one on the tour so felt very exclusive.

To book a tour they strictly demand a signed document and creditcard information first, which we disliked. The cheapest tour costs 85€ excl service charge and can be upgraded up to 130€. At 17:00 we first had a tour around the vineyard, cellar and production area, which was very interesting. Then we had to wait 1.5 hours for the tasting in the restaurant across the road. The view from the terrace was beautiful but we had to pay for any extra drinks in the mean time. The waiter was friendly but strange, explicitly giving every table “special treatment”. The food accompanying the wine tasting was basic with ingredients consisting of mostly bread and tomatoes. The wine tasting included their 2023 white, red and rose wine. This was a shame because for the price of 85€ we expected to at least taste some of their better wines. The wines tasted average to us. Compared to similar wine houses. To top it all off there was no possibility to purchase wine after tasting because the shop had closed (21:00 already we were served the last wine). The only option would be to purchase some wines before tasting, which the staff did not mention.

My family and I really enjoyed the winery tour and learning about the unique harvesting methods necessary on the amalfi coast. I should also mention that we came with a 2 and a 6 year old and our tour guide was extremely accommodating with the kids and this made learning about the winery fun for everyone. The subsequent dinner was fantastic also and the views spectacular - highly recommend for a very unique winery experience.

Google
Amazing views, even better wine, and exceptional guest service. Only thing I wish was better was the food. The food was not all that and I was hungry. Other than that, the winery itself is amazing and the wine is great, even bought a bottle for the road.

Unfortunately, our planned visit to the winery was a letdown. Good wine, but tastings are only offered at their bustling, tourist-focused restaurant across the street, where individual guests receive little attention. The most shocking part was their boastful admission of selling wine to Russia, despite international sanctions, when we tried to make a purchase. We didn't buy anything.
