Top Brewpubs and Breweries in South Jersey | Eater Philly

"Since 2011, Cape May Brewing Company has provided Jersey Shore locals and visitors with an impressive array of beer. The South Jersey brewing company offers a large indoor tasting room, expansive outdoor seating during the summer months, and a bevy of brews — Belgian-style wheat ale, DIPA, brown porter, hazy pale ale — you name your favorite type of beer and this popular New Jersey brewery likely offers it." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

Great local brewery, a must-visit for beer geeks! Excellent selection of beers and really cool merchandise. There's plenty of space, and good food trucks are usually there for a quick bite. Highly recommend when visiting Cape May!

Cape May Brewing Company is one of South Jersey’s premier microbreweries. It was established by a group of friends and amateur beer enthusiasts who saw a niche market in the expanding small brewery scene. They produce dozens of varieties of beer that run the gamut of colors, flavor profiles, and alcohol contents. With such a selection, it’s likely that there’ll be something to please even the most finicky taste buds. Guided brewery and tasting room tours are available, but not every day. If you’d like to get a behind the scenes look, it’s a good idea to check their website or give them a call before making a special trip.

Solid beers with a very cool beer garden type set up in the back. Good sour selection in the summer, awesome taco spot next door.

Won't go back. Came here 10yrs ago when they were new and it was the highlight of our trip. Came back excited to see how they've grown. We weren't greeted by anyone, had no idea of we should seat ourselves or what the new "flight log" was about. Finally went to the bar and ordered and sat in a room by ourselves. My drink was very watered down. When I went to return our glasses to the bar the bartender basically argued with me and said he likes it. Felt like I was annoying them just by being there. So disappointing. We were excited to see it again 10yrs later and we will never go back.

For someone who is not a beer drinker, I didn't know what to expect from this place. However, it was a wonderful tour by a wonderful tour guide named Paul. He was a wealth of information about beer and IPAs . He answered all of Jim's questions about the manufacturing process ( Jim is newly retired from J&J and misses the manufacturing aspect) and was so friendly while doing so. I highly recommend this tour. There is a tasting room where you can bring in your own food and purchase many different kinds of beers. My favorite was The Lady in Room #10. Go figure.
