Our favorite brewery in Cape May ! I am not a beer drinker, but love the “hard root beer float” . My husband’s fav is the” always ready”! If you are looking for a great lite beer , give the Cape May light a try, you will not be disappointed. They have excellent food trucks as well. Indoor and outdoor seating (outdoor is dog friendly:)

Everytime I'm in the cape we have a few beers here. It was brunch time so you not. Beers were delicious. They had a food truck parked out back which was serving food so my son got the lobster mac n cheese. All in all a great time! Will definitely return

Always wanted to come and try a flight of different flavored beer. We were NOT let down. It was awesome!! Fun and knowledgeable staff fueled our excitement and experience. Great time!

The tour was great. Mike was very knowledgeable about the brewing process and was open to any all questions (even the dumb ones, Haha). If you are a beer drinker and in Cape May stop by and take a tour.

Cape May Brewing Company is hands down one of the best brewery experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming, laid-back, and full of good energy. But what really made the visit unforgettable were Emily and JT in the store—two of the most genuine, kind, and helpful people you’ll meet. They weren’t just working the floor; they were creating an experience. They took the time to chat, make great recommendations, and just share in the love of good beer and good people. The Grove… where do I even begin? It’s not just my favorite beer at Cape May—it’s my favorite beer in the entire world. Perfectly citrusy, crisp, and refreshing, it hits that magical balance between flavor and drinkability. I’ve tried a lot of beers over the years, but The Grove is truly in a league of its own. Also, shoutout to the barbecue truck—such a fun time with great food, great music, and that signature Cape May good-vibes-only atmosphere. The whole experience was just on point. I seriously can’t wait to come back. Cape May Brewing Co. has my heart!

We started our adventure receiving a tour of the production facility, tank farms and brew houses. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the entire process.The ambiance was fantastic. Food truck was good and had reasonable prices. My favorite beer was the Crushing it blueberry lemon. 🤤. Highly recommended.

Really fun atmosphere! As soon as we walked in Emilie greeted us and we felt welcomed by her and her coworkers right away. There is something to drink for everyone. I had their Oh Say Can You Sea seltzer slushie and wasn’t disappointed, highly recommend trying. Hit The Road Jack was also the food truck option and the bang bang shrimp loaded fries were so good and the portions were large are shareable. The live band was also killing it. If you’re in Cape May for a day, weekend, or week definitely make time for Cape May Brewing.

I am a big fan of Cape May Brewing Company's beer so I decided to stop in and see where all of this goodness is made! The inside had cute decorations and solid jams playing. Every seat inside was filled - so I would recommend going on a nice day so you can enjoy, their huge outdoor patio! Service was great... They have a pretty flawless system for those who would like individual beers, flights or purchase cans. Out front had a food truck, as the brewery itself does not serve food. Parking could be a little bit of a hassle as there is limited space directly in front of the building. But there is ample parking just a few minutes walk from there.

We visited with my family and 3 kiddos on a Thursday around 4:30 PM. Ample seating very big space inside and outdoor (which has some fire pits and heat lamps) They were hosting a trivia competition and on site was hit the road jack food truck (which was AWESOME) I like the pick your own flight options and plenty of variety for even the folks less inclined to choose beer. Space is kid friendly and is situated next to a pottery painting place, peanut store, and soap store. Staff is friendly and chill, overall a relaxing environment and never felt rushed out or ignored. They also have darts (2) on site if you're up for a few rounds. Parking is also plentiful.

Though I have known about the brand for many years, it took me forever to visit their tap room. For some reason, I always thought it was just this small brewery with not too many options to choose from. Well, I was wrong. As with a lot of these brewery type places, this is not something you would ever know existed without plugging the destination into navigation. In this case you think you are on a private flight out of the Cape May Airport, but instead you found the home of Cape May beer. Coming in you can go directly to the bar, or if you are like me, you can fill out a flight card, and then head to the bar through the other door to get into the flight line. Coming in the winter time there was no flight line, but the card still made for an easy transaction for my four choices. Being well plugged into Untappd made the selection process simple and the beers were a wonderful new experience that I thought I might have already tapped out of considering the number of brews I have tried from them over the years. There is a lot of room to sit inside and in better weather it seems that outside would be a great option as well. There is a gift shop there too so if you are looking for some brand merch you will be happy as well.

CAPE MAY: one of the most well-known breweries based in NJ is Cape May Brewing Co. and they have a cool indoor tasting room with awesome artwork, string lights, an impressive sticker wall, a TV to watch the game, and great beers. 24 varieties are available on-tap and we tried the Pick of the Batch (pumpkin), Oktoberfest (marzen), Orange Crushin' It (IPA), and the Hot Honey Porter. The rules are that leashed dogs are allowed at their outdoor Brewtanical Garden (open Spring - Fall), but they'll allow you inside if they are able to; just ask one of the bartenders. "Seasonally, our Brewtanical Garden is also available, which has its own parking lot and separate entrance under the trees behind the main building. This space is open to the elements, but some of the tables offer patio umbrellas if needed for protection from the sun or light rain!" They have a great merch store and Brie's Dad went home with a nice rain jacket.

You can't take beer away by the can or the six pack. You have to buy a growler. The beverage lobbies are too strong in New Jersey. They did not have their own food. You have to like this kind of environment.

Great beer, rude people. Don't bother with the tasting room. Get it to go and have a better time.

Cape May Brewing Co. is a very industrial, fun and modern brewery with tasting room to boot. It's located in the Cape May Airport complex with free parking. Once you walk in, you can either line up for a pint or fill out a little sheet to get a flight. There are plenty of people willing to provide instructions and clear signage to help you understand where to go. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with tables and chairs for large and small groups. They have an eclectic music collection that plays on speakers. This brewery also has a "brewtique" where you can grab merch. A fun, young vibe that's also doggo-friendly for those who have a furry friend.

My husband and I arrived here at 11 and there were already some people waiting. It got busy around noon and the line started to build up. My favorite was the Tan Lime, it was light, crisp, and refreshing. Unfortunately the canned beer for that already sold out. Oh Say Can You Sea was very sweet. We first were sitting down underneath the tent. However, we got bitten by mosquitoes so we moved inside to sit by the bar.

Mmmm great selection of beers, hard seltzers/root beer and a hard iced tea. The Mexican Coffee Stout is a meal in a glass, Cape May White & Devils reach a nice alternative to a std ale/IPA; the Dog Cranberry Shandy refreshing. The Red Gummy Fish Ice Water is like drinking adult candy if you like sweet ..it's a different take; the Hard Root Beer is subtler than a std root beer and very creamy...Id enjoy this on a hot summer day; the Mango Seltzer light and crisp, the hard Ice Tea is just that, nice tea taste with a kick. We got some nuts and kolaches next door at Wing Nutz before coming in, and that was a good move, recommend you do before coming in if you'd like a bite while you drinkZ

There are a lot of breweries in NJ. Hundreds. And Cape May stands out for several reasons. 1. Founded in 2011, well before the crush of small town nanobreweries that started in 2015/2016. This gave them extra time to hone their craft. 2. Gorgeous tasting room. So many different rooms, styles of seating, nooks and crannies, both inside and outside. 3. Most breweries have a shelf or two of merchandise, maybe a whole wall. This place has an entire separate room with lots of fun swag. 4. Most importantly, the beer is superb. They distribute all over PA, NJ and DE, and the tasting room had 21 beers on tap during our recent visit, plus two seltzers and a NA ginger ale. All of it is complex, varied, interesting and exceptionally well made. Any beer on the menu tells you these people know what they're doing. We last visited on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in March, and the place was packed to the rafters. They have a great system in place to handle the crowds: a host greets you and describes the process, they have a designated area to fill out flight cards, and then two separate lines to approach the bar depending on if you want a flight or a full pint. It's a very well oiled machine. My only complaint is the bathroom situation. They only have two single, unisex bathrooms for the whole place, so lines frequently develop. Overall, this is one of the oldest and best craft breweries in the state, and should definitely be on your list of NJ breweries to visit.

Great Beer, I recommend doing a flight to get a taste of a few options. They also have live music outside. I would prefer more seating options but the large crowd could have been due to it being Labor Day weekend.

I'll start this off with a disclaimer: I'm from PA and we have more breweries in any given county than anyone can count. I understand that everyone has a different style, taste, and preference when it comes to beer and brewing. Out of the six beers we tried, none of them were for me. They might be for you. The space is cool but it's set up pretty different from what I'm used to. When you first come in you're greeted and given a rundown on their system. You're encouraged to plan a flight off to the side before entering the main bar and handing them your slip. You can also order full pours and just skip the flight process. They have some tables inside and outside. Outside is great if the weather is nice as you can see the planes coming and going from the airport. The staff is less personable than other breweries but they seem to very popular so they must be doing something right. For me, I'd prefer Behr (3 minutes down the road) or Gusto (near the ferry). They have beer that fits my taste better, and they're smaller with more personable staff.

I've been a fan of their beer for years and always grab a six pack or two when visiting my dad in Delaware. It's distributed to several bottle shops and liquor stores near where he lives. Last week I had the opportunity to visit the brewery in Cape May while traveling home. I took the "off the beaten path" route this time which was the Garden State Pkwy to Cape May - Lewes Ferry, then down the DelMarVa peninsula and so on... So, I decided to stop in and have a pint and grab a couple of six packs of beer I can't get in North Carolina and Delaware. I got there just after opening (12:00pm) and there was already a nice crowd. I had one, the Oktoberfest. It was really nice, smooth and malty. I purchased a six pack of that and Jersey Proud of course to take home, which I sampled Saturday. Good stuff. The brewery itself has ample seating at the bar and rear yard which is covered. Tours are offered inside. By the way, it's located in at the regional airport of all places in a commercial strip just outside. Google Maps / Waze will take you to the actual commercial production facility which is down the near the main road. The tap house is located not far away and you can see the commercial strip from the brewery. There is a hot dog place next door and a peanut roaster in that strip as well. They do allow you to bring food in. Nice spot!

GOD DAMN DID CAPE MAY BREWING REALLY IMPROVE ON THEIR BEER SELECTION. i only come here in the summer since thats when i vacacation down here, but their beer selection is one of the best in the game right now. i love the experimental flavors of the tea to the hard lemonade to notes of blueberry in everthing. flights are $10. they are super organized and helpful. the store is so cool too. they sell out of a bunch of 6 packs. they have great merch and high quality shirts, i grabbed one for 25.00 . they also have stuff on sale! check that shit out! cant wait to come back, maybe i will make a winter trip. tap room is so cool and the tent outside has fans and music and plenty of seating.

Only downside of Cape May Brewing is that it's a drive away from the city center! Nevertheless, we trekked out on an overcast day during our stay in Cape May to try some beers. The brewery is located near the airport, and it really isn't far from the beach / city area at all. There is ample parking, and the space itself is quite large with ample indoor and outdoor seating. The vibe throughout is perfect for a shore-town brewery - lots of large graphics / artwork on the walls and just a fun, comfortable and casual vibe. We snagged a table outside, where we could enjoy the beach breeze and enjoy the live music (a nice touch). We were blown away by the number of beers they had to choose from - and even happier that they offered (and seemingly) encouraged flights. The flow in the brewery made sense and was convenient - you first explored the beer options they had while crafting your flight list, then you gave it to the bartender after waiting in line, and then your personalized flight was ready to pick up! Even though it was busy and there was a private event happening during our stay, this process still felt seamless and streamlined. It was so hard to narrow down my choices for my flight, but honestly, I don't think I could have gone wrong. My husband focused on IPAs, while I focused on the more fruity / sour options. My favorites were the peach ring sour (tasted JUST like the peach rings of my childhood) and the orange IPA - we luckily scored a 4-pack of the the peach ring sour to take home and enjoy beyond our trip! My husband really enjoyed his IPAs, also buying a 4-pack to bring back home for later. Overall, we loved Cape May Brewing and would certainly make it back on future trips to Cape May! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys trying new, fun beers or anyone looks from a small escape from the beach!

While on a trip to visit my fiance's family over the holidays, we decided to take a day trip to Cape May as I had never been to the coast of New Jersey. On our way into the cute town of Cape May, we stopped at the Cape May Brewery as his family love it. I'm not as big into breweries as they are overall, but I do live in San Diego, which has the 2nd highest amount of breweries in teh country, so I've been to my fair share. With that said, I was very impressed with the Cape May Brewery! From the look of the brewery itself, to the name of the drinks, to the dirnks themselves, it was a top notch experience! The drinks are fun names themed after coastal/ship terms (mop water,etc), the facility is huge and has a coastal rustic theme to it. We easily found a perfect table for our party of 5 and we were also able to bring in lunch with us. I highly recommend you stop in if you're in the area!

I've been here before but only for pick up so I was never inside before this week. We brought hoagies from Westside Market for lunch since they do not sell food (we called to make sure this was still the deal). It was windy/chilly out or we would have sat outside. We sat at a high top table inside. Barstools weren't comfortable at all therefore limiting the time we wanted to sit there. Their shop sells lots of merchandise, which is nice to have lots of options.

Lots of selection and the flights are well priced at $10 to try 4 different drinks. Loved the decor and they had live music outside. My favorite was the hard iced tea which tasted just like carbonated English breakfast tea

This is one of my favorite NJ breweries! Huge indoor and outdoor spaces, large varied selection of draft beers, and awesome buzzy ambiance. Great merch too.

Great beer and vibes. Loved the flight station to help speed guests along. They had a bunch of frozen options. The red candy frozen seltzer was phenomenal. Definitely worth a trip here!

People were very nice and helpful while we selected their flight. They have a decent variety of beers but most of them are extremely high ABV and the flight trays are a bit unstable, but a nice presentation. The place was very clean and the people were nice.

Went to Cape May Brewing Company on Sunday afternoon. A nice dog-friendly space, even though some guests were pushing it with their animals, with a solid selection of beers made for warmer weather. Quality: Tried several of the beers and hard beverages during our visit including Cape May IPA, Coastal Evacuation Double IPA, Always Ready Hazy Pale Ale, Cape May White Belgian Wheat, and Shore Tea Hard Tea. The clear winner was the Wawa branded Shore Tea, which was unbelievably delicious and impossible to tell had any alcohol. Perhaps a little too sweet to have more than one, but you are going to love the one you have. The rest of the beers were fine, nothing spectacular, but all perfectly fine for a warm summer afternoon beer. Quantity: In the outdoor area it is only pints in plastic cups. Value: $7 for Pints of Beer. Ambiance: Cape May Brewing Company is located near the small airport. They have a split indoor space within a warehouse building. Adjacent is a large tent that covers a parking lot outdoor area. Then a few steps away they have a fenced in grassy area that is the dog-friendly space. Since we had our dog, this is where we spent most of our time. It had lots of lawn games, spread out picnic tables, and 90s music blaring. I just wish people were a bit more conscientious about choosing whether it was a good place for their dog. Crowd: Three different areas and each was fairly busy. The outdoor dog friendly area fills with kids, but many of the dogs there were poorly behaved and spent the whole time barking and lunging at other guests. Service: The bartender in the outdoor area was friendly and efficient. Parking: Shared parking lot for a row of businesses, but it filled up quickly.

Stopped in for lunch on a Monday. Picked a flight-great way to try something new without the commitment. Easy selection card and decisions. I opted for flight my SO did a pint. I chose Hard Tea, Hard Lemonade (delicious choice for warmer weather btw) and I did two lagers (Longliner. Kind of a blue noonish and tan Limes. Similar to a bud light lime- overall good choices). There are many to sample so definitely worth the trip! They have an indoor area and outdoor seating patio. Bartenders friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed the selection of beers, my personal favorite was the longliner lager, and the ambiance out on the big patio! Went back on the way home to pick up a 12pk.

We have been going to the Cape May Brewing Company for quite a few years and can really appreciate the evolution in the brewery itself as well as the craft beer that they offer. Everyone in our family, including those who don't enjoy beer, are always able to find something that they enjoy to drink. We usually get flights to try out the latest brews. This year some of our favorites were the Shore Tea (of course - we were glad it was worth the hype!) as well as the root beer float. We took a six pack of the floats to go for boozy root beer floats at home! When we went there were slushie versions of the Shore Tea and Root Beer Float which were great! Looking forward to continuing our regular visits.

Great selection of beers from a great brewery. This brewery does not serve food, but does allow outside food. There appears to be some options for food in the strip mall, but we decided to eat afterward. Standout beer for me was the mango Crushin It. I'm not a fan of fruit beer, but this one is well done!

Let me begin by saying my wife and I love Cape May Brew. Actually, my wife and I went there on our first date, so it's easy to say it has a special place in our hearts . However, our recent visit was lack luster. The lines are long and move very slowly. My wife was super excited to try the WaWa Peach tea beer. It had an awesome taste, but it was at room temperature. The drink was poured from a can which was Just sitting on the counter.

Nice selections-really enjoyed The choices, but the cranky help who was mean to a 3 year old was totally unwarranted. Train your help in customer service or fire them.

While the beer and bar tenders are top notch, the gift shop attendants should be avoided at all costs. I simply asked to fill my growler with a beer on tap and she claimed that it was too busy to fill when I was the only person there. We asked another one if all the tshirts were on the floor or if there were any in the back, and you would've thought we asked them to move the Pyramids by hand. The rudeness and general lack of trying was absolutely appalling.

My favorite brewery in New Jersey! I've followed Cape May Brewing for a few years now on the beer fest circuit where I've enjoyed meeting the sisters who represent it. And whenever I see a brew like Devil's Reach, Coastal Evacuation, or their Coffee Stout on tap it's usually the first thing that I go for! So when my GF proposed that we join her friends on their Cape May weekend rendezvous I knew it would be one of the main destinations that we'd enjoy, and it delivered in almost every way possible! Perhaps the only thing that it isn't able to deliver is a well-rounded food menu on every occasion since parts of New Jersey have those asinine laws in place that keep its breweries from also being able to sell food under the same roof. Cape May is able to work around it by sometimes having food trucks in their outdoor beer garden on weekends. Beer is the main event that you come here for obviously though, and they offered a huge variety of staple, seasonal, and exclusive to the taproom offerings! I love those breweries that don't just fill their tap list with IPAs, and while Cape May definitely has some beautiful hazy ones, I love that they have an award-winning Belgian tripel like Devil's Reach on the regular menu, always has at least one decadent stout among their seasonal and exclusive brews, and has a couple of eclectic beers like a sticky cinnamon bun imperial brown ale. During our time at the tasting room, we got reacquainted with plenty of favorites, discovered plenty of mind-blowing new beers, and were able to take home a plethora of beers and fancy merch in their shop section. Overall it was a visit that solidified what I already knew about the brewery and had me enjoying it even more.

The beer is very good and the vibe is cool for a brewery but this place gets overly crowded on weekends (especially so on holiday weekends). This place has a serious bathroom shortage. When we arrived, the bathroom line was longer than the pint line. Live music is great but the band on Memorial Day weekend was way off tune and not very good (sorry folks). We did beers " to go " from the shop, we looked at some of their T-shirts, hats, and hoodies but no thanks at their advertised prices. If you want to go, head over at an off time as the place is worth a visit, minus the crowds and the epically long bathroom lines. With a few breweries in the area, Cape May Brewery is worth a visit but not the best brewery in the area.

First time at the brewery with mixed feelings. - Atmosphere: decor really cool! And outdoor patio seems very nice (we did not seat outside since it was closed because they said it was cold and windy). There are picnic wooden tables, barrel tables, bar with stools, ...) - Beer: hubbie got the IPA and said it tasted really good. I didn't like the root beer - Service: not super friendly but not rude either - Covid distancing pretty good although it was pretty empty (maybe 3-4 tables) Stayed for 30min although we would have stayed more if they offered wider variety of non-alcoholic drinks. We are a couple with a small kid. Currently only 1 root beer, no soft drinks, juices etc. So I would say that it is not family friendly nor a place that a person who cannot drink alcohol can enjoy (pregnant for example). Maybe just bring drinks from outside? Will check next time if I ever go back Review edit in response to the manager: glad to hear you have more non-alcoholic options, sadly when I asked yesterday, the waiter said he only had the root beer... nothing else. Disappointing

This place is always a favorite when we're in the area. We probably come here every single trip. I tried their new hard root beer float which tasted exactly as I remember as a kid. Not overly carbonated at all. They have something great for every palette. They even have slushees. Don't worry if you are non-alcoholic they have delicious NA root beer that's brewed on site as well. The vibes are always relaxed and chill, sometimes with live music. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and informative. Would highly recommend!

Lots of choices - cool vibe until you order your beer. Then the bartender treats you like you are a problem. We came for a good time and he almost stole it away by being a jerk. Maybe it's because it's a busy place or maybe it's because we are "older" people. Maybe when you visit it will be a friendlier environment.

Had a fun time doing a tasting at this very popular spot! The beers were very good & there was a lot to choose from. This place gets very crowded & loud so be aware! We found a spot to sit in the outdoor tent & the place played some good music. The people working there were friendly & we enjoyed ourselves! Definitely a good place to check out!

Came Thur night around 6. Had to wait 15min line to get seated, they were quite busy. The outdoor seating area was very cute and socially distanced. The staff was very friendly and even gave my friend's daughter a sticker :) The grapefruit seltzer was light and refreshing. The cranberry beer slush was SO GOOD! Had a good time and my friend even got a six pack to go from our server because you don't have to wait in line to pick it up like the online orders.

Great selection of draft and canned beers. The Brewtopia garden is covered and has plenty of seating. Also seating inside. Flights are $10 which is reasonable and allows you to sample before committing to a pint or growler. Staff is friendly and place is very clean.

Truly the greatest brewery. I make it a point to come here as much as I can during the summer and even though I am pregnant this year it still didn't steer me from coming! They have a vast amount of beers. My favorites are the Grove and the Blueberry Lemon Crushin' It. You can also order flights which I highly recommend since almost every beer is worth trying. With being pregnant I was loving the in house NA seltzer's this Summer. Sooo good & refreshing! Also the staff is so dang nice. They actually seem like they enjoy what they do and are happy to be there! The store is great too with great value! Definitely a staple in Cape May and totally worth checking out.

A fine South Jersey brewery with above average - excellent beers. Great, friendly atmosphere both inside and out. Very cool gift shop.

A nice space to enjoy a pint or flight! Tucked away in an industrial strip by the Airport, Cape May Brewery has a smaller indoor section and two different outdoor spaces with good ambience. One is under a tent with benches and stools around barrels and the other space is out in an open area. Beers here are hit or miss. A favorite the Apple Bomb (beware, it's easy to suck down a growler but it's 8%...). Some of the beers have a "backwater bay" smell to them that is a bit off putting. So try a flight to find your favorites! Additionally there are hard seltzers and homemade root beer and ginger ale for your DDs or younger folk to enjoy.

A nice place in Cape May but I have some mixed feelings about the experience today -- I do acknowledge that it's a busy holiday weekend so that explains some of it. Drove down here today from Ocean City, it's a bit off the beaten path. Parking wasn't great out front but there was plenty in the back. There was someone checking IDs and stamping hands at the door but directions could've been better. The tasting room was pretty small and the line was long and moving very slowly for beers. We actually ditched it once we found out about the "Brewtanical Garden". On the way there, we passed through the covered patio where a band was playing so loud that I have no idea how anyone could carry on a conversation. It was just hot and loud and at 1PM, not a relaxing atmosphere. The "Brewtanical Garden" was the saving grace here. It was a large semi-shaded, semi-fenced area with picnic tables and yard games plus a truck serving what appeared to be the full menu of beers, a much better vibe. Also dog friendly which was good for us. The beers were great and the staff out there were too. Girls in the gift shop were pretty apathetic, slow to get the line moving. No food, we got some hot dogs from a business next door. Despite the mixed experience, would definitely come back, maybe on a less busy weekend.

Always love visiting the Cape May Brewery. Worth our drive from Ocean County. The Bogg is my very favorite but enjoy trying all their brews.

Great brewery in North Cape May. They have a nice outdoor seating that you can bring food into. There are taster flights, so you can try for of their brews! Unfortunately, they close at 8!!!!

What a great spot right by the airport and aviation museum. It was a beautiful 80 degree day and needed a cold refreshing beverage. Loved it so much we walked out with a case to take home. Absolutely must try the grapefruit beer, as good as in Germany. The orange crush was also a group favorite. Will definitely be back to try them all! Outside/ inside seating available. We walked in at 1:30 on a Sunday and all outside seating was taken.

We rode our bikes here on a Monday afternoon and all was good. We sat inside enjoying the air condition after our ride and tried a few IPAs and others. Crowds seemed to come and go in waves and it was getting a little more crowded about 3 pm when we saddled up and headed to the next brewery closest to our bike trail.

I want to like it here I really really do. I love some of the beers on there roster and buy from my local liquor store often. I will say I can on a sub par day. Weather was not ideal. What I couldn't understand was how they kept letting people in the building. It was beyond capacity to the point people did there tastings standing holding there beer tray. It just made no sense. Others used stools basically taking any possible seating as tables for there beer. It was chaotic and stressful. I've been to many many breweries in all types of weather and never seen this. I go to Oktoberfest regularly and that's saying something. My husband got a flight and we just left it wasn't enjoyable and to be honest we didn't finish. I am bummed to not like a place that shells out some pretty good beer. I possibly would return on a mid week or better weather day that's why I don't want to give one star. My rating is for poor management of the turn of weather.

I really love Cape May Brewing Company beer and was thrilled to finally make it to the brewery. The outdoor set-up is great. I love that you can get half-pours to try a variety of beers. My favorite is the classic Cape May IPA, but some of the other options seem like great seasonal beers (Crushin It - grapefruit or orange, seems perfect for a hot summer day). They have a great separate area for to-go beers and merchandise. Will happily return!
