Cape Panwa Hotel

GOOD POINTS:- Beautiful hotel, rooms are spacious & comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Great shuttle bus service throughout day & evening between hotel and sister hotel down the hill. We used this a lot & loved Cafe Kantary both for quality of food & friendliness of staff there. The little tram down to beach was a very quirky touch & saved a steep walk. Gorgeous beach area. BAD POINTS:- We had booked a junior suite. It did say in our booking details this was in an annex but it is actually in The Cape Hotel & a significant walk from beach. We managed to upgrade our room after 2 days & got a lovely room in the main hotel & much closer to beach. Our main problem with this hotel was the lack of friendliness...the staff are polite but lack the warmth of other places we've stayed in Thailand. We found this particularly at Bamboo Bar at the beach. We went for drinks at Happy Hour & it looked like they were closing for the day! We did get drinks but they weren't great & the atmosphere wasn't "Happy" We stayed for 6 nights & although had a good time sadly won't return to this hotel. So all in all beautiful setting but service not warm & welcoming like we've experienced in other places in Thailand.

Nice room very helpful staff, TV issues they came and fixed it within 20 mins, super quick, The breakfast is buffet style so many choices. Private beach, can take a tram cart from the hotel takes 2 mins. I preferred walking past the villas to get to the beach, it immerses you in nature. Getting to the hotel the road is quite steep but once you are there everything is connected through walkways. The spa is amazing must try out. Pony was a really good masseuse and had great conversational skills. Highly recommend I had the limited sea view room, it came with a balcony, two single beds shoved together to make one massive super king sized bed, more than enough for two people let alone 1. It also came with a shower and a bath. There are many steps at this hotel so it's not very disabled friendly regarding wheelchair users, if you are able to walk with a stick it should be manageable as there are seats and rest points everywhere. I also celebrated my birthday at the hotel, they surprised me and brought out a cake and a card. ( I did mention to the hotel previously through email that I would be celebrating my birthday at the hotel)

Had a lovely stay. The staff made us feel welcome from the very beginning. The room had a good view of the ocean which was nice in the mornings. The pool was clean and relaxing. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. The surroundings were quiet and calm, which I liked. We are considering going back to Cape Panwa Hotel because it was such a comfortable stay. The location felt secluded but still convenient enough to explore nearby areas. I will recommend it to friends looking for a peaceful getaway.

I must admit, I was not excited about traveling 24 hours to get to this hotel but I was so impressed with the whole experience! The facilities were clean and very attractive. The food was excellent. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We were especially impressed with Lisa, not only with her service in the main restaurant but also her knowledge of interesting things to do. She was very friendly and offered excellent advice. Activity offerings were fun and interesting. We had a wonderful time and plan to go back.

Very nice Hotel with a private Beach. The water is very clear and a lot of shade to enjoy you time on the sunbeds. There is also SUP and Snorkel equipment to hire. The Staff a the Hotel is very nice, friendly and helpful. They seem to be happy to see you everyday and you can feel their passion. The Breakfast Buffet was excellent! A lot of choices....too many to try them all. All was tasting great and there was always staff available for assistance. The Rooms are spacious and clean. The View is great into the Bay and there is enough privacy. The hole area around the hotel is a bit more secluded and quiet. Very good if you want to escape the busy road of Phuket and relax a bit!

An incredible experience. The rooms are spacious and luxurious with stunning views from the balcony. Massive choice of dining experience - some require dress code. A short walk to the beach will leave you breathless, not from the walk but from the incredible beauty and scenery. The water is only a few degrees cooler than air temperature. This hotel has to be top of your list of hotels.

This place is definetely out of this world. First I visited 8 years ago and fell so in love with it that I had to come back and spend a part of our honeymoon at this stunning Hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful, everyone has a big smile on their face. The room was always clean and we had an amazing view to the sea. The breakfast is amazing you have a plenty of choice to eat. For dinner I highly recommend Panwa house on the beach it is very romantic. The hotel has its own private beach so it is very good that you don't have to share the place with tousands of tourists. Overall Cape Panwa Hotel is still one of my favourite places I've ever been.

When we checked in the young thai lady was very informative and her english was very good. (there were westerner staff there as well) my husband and I highly recommend dinning at Cafè Andaman and Breafast as well. It's one of the best breakfast we ever had through our travelling. Chef Nattavut ran his kitchen very well, his food is delicious!! We went to the sunset dinner and the fire dance. We have seen better, it was uncoordinated dance and the food wasn't great. You be better off eating at Andaman Cafè. The little variety shop in the hotel was quiet cheap. Cape Spa and Beauty Salon was exceptional. Highly recommended! The hotel have shuttle bus to Phuket Town, Central Festival Shopping Centre 200 Baht per person return trip. And to Patong Beach 400 Baht per person return trip. Overall we will be returning for another brief stay.
