Caper's Pizza Bar - Toledo, OH

Fast, friendly service at the bar from Angel and Gabby on a Friday night! Fresh, hot delicious pizza at a decent value for the price. A lot of the tables were full, but it wasn't too crowded and our food came out fast. Nice atmosphere to bring the kids for a family dinner,a date night, or to just sit with a drink and play Keno at the bar. This place is a neighborhood gem!

This is a great corner bar with good pasta. The pizza is good and so are the meatballs and appetizer. I would recommend this if you are in the maumee area.

We eat at Caper’s every 2-3 months (either dine in or carryout). This visit we were underwhelmed. Hubs had the lasagna (his typical dinner). Probably left half of it, said it didn’t taste as good as previously. I had cheese ravioli, filling and marinara had good flavor but crimped edges of ravioli were dry and hard. Made me think it had been par cooked (which a lot of restaurants do) and then microwaved at serving time. Our waitress was nice but slow. We weren’t offered Parmesan with our dinners and had to ask for refills on our pop. It got to the point that a waitress working the other side of the dining room was clearing our dishes and asking if we needed anything. She flat out asked if our waitress was taking care of us. As I said we’re fairly regular customers but it will be a while before we go back.

Great place to hang out and listen to live local music. We heard Trez the night we were there. She is a treasure, a real treat with her bubbly personality and exceptional voice. The servers ignored us for too long is why no to marks for them, but their cute little outfits are great.

Great pizza! Check out their specials! Dana, KD, and Kendra were great! Nice environment, have an outside patio. Definitely worth a try Update to 12/23: Awesome place, nearly all of the team are family(like) it seems. Pizza is a solid 7.5-9/10!

We started with potato skins they were actually really good. The bacon was delicious. We got the Italian sub as well, lots of flavors, one of the better ones in town. Got the ultimate pepperoni pizza. we were not disappointed. The sauce and crust and cheese all go great together, and the pepperoni was nice and crisp.

Great food staff was good. The pizza was definitely the highlight. The inside was a little dated and could use an update. But other than that, it was a nice pizzeria.

Lord have mercy! What an awkward dinner! The service was the worst. The waitress appeared intoxicated , coughed at our table NONSTOP, spit on my daughter while talking, asked who was on what bill no joke like 20 times AFTER she had written it down. Service was SOOOO slow and the food was mediocre at beat. If you order the bread and oil, they bring you a plastic cup with garlic and ths waitress says... let me go get the oil.🤣. You have to make it yourself ! We will not be back!
