Yum!!!! This place is so lovely! Staff is absolutely amazing and the service was great! They have a lot of unique drinks on their menu that not many cafes offer and I appreciate that so much! I find it kind of annoying when cafes only have a couple of things and don't have any individualistic flare on their own store. Their lobby here is so aesthetic and cozy! Bathrooms were also sparkling clean and genuinely enjoyable to use. The drinks were super delicious and I even went back for a second one before leaving! I definitely will be coming back here whenever I'm in the area. Hopefully in summer too. I'm excited to see what their other seasonal drink offers are because they're soooooo amazingly made. It's so hard to find anywhere that serves Ube and I love ube! They even had an ube MATCHA! SO good!!! Their strawberry matcha was also super yum! Now looking back, lowkey wishing I tried a bagel or one of their pastries. Also a plus that they have a huge off street parking lot!! Love that.

This coffee shop is easily my favorite spot in the Twin Cities. They offer traditional Vietnamese coffee with creative infusions that truly set them apart. They also have unbeatable signature drinks like the Pandan Latte and Egg Coffee, showcasing a unique range of flavors. She sources her beans directly from Vietnam, ensuring exceptional quality and authenticity in every cup. I needed to get some work done so I stopped in Sunday morning. I had a lovely morning here, I enjoyed a Caphe Muoi and a pear scone. I love Vietnamese iced coffee so it was nice to have a fun twist on a delicious classic! The environment is warm and friendly, the shop is small but it has large windows and great lighting. There is a decent amount of seating, strong WiFi and clean single stall bathrooms. There is a large free parking lot right in front of the shop. My drink came out and it was tasty and aesthetically pleasing. There was light music playing and typical coffee shop chatter. I honestly think this is a good spot to come in if you’re on your morning coffee run, meeting up with a friend, or even getting some work done.

Finally, a beautiful cafe that has Vietnamese coffee! The coffee was fresh and strong. I got a Vietnamese iced coffee and enjoyed it. I would have liked more condensed milk for the creaminess and sweetness, but nonetheless, it was good. Will visit again.

Caphin is one of my favorite coffee shops in the Twin Cities! The drinks are incredibly thoughtful and knock-your-socks-off delicious. The staff is friendly, down-to-earth, and very knowledgeable. You can feel the love put into the concept. The space is cozy and inviting. They host lots of events supporting other local businesses and have excellent online content!

Great coffee shop with a fantastic banh mi. All the right components. The bread has the right crustiness but soft enough that you don’t have to fight it. Rich pate, high quality ham, right amount of heat, fresh herbs, sour from the pickled vegetables. Also the iced ube matcha was excellent. Ube is so good and I don’t see it on menus as often as I would like.

Fell in love with Vietnamese coffee on a trip in Seattle (Coffeholic House) and have been craving it ever since I left. This place reminds me of that and is just as good! The unique style and colors of the coffee make it so enticing to try and the flavor matches that. Delicious coffee and atmosphere!

Love the drinks! We got the ube dream with oatmilk, pork belly bao bun and pandan latte. The flavors were on point, we can taste the homemade pandan flavor which i really liked! i like the interior as well, it can be where you can get work done plus it’s very aesthetic. service was quick and friendly. The bao bun came with chili oil, the filling was tasty. I definitely want to try more coffees they have next time!

I asked for a drink carrier not realizing they were out, and rather than telling me "no" they made one. First thing in the morning too! Amazing staff, great coffee and tea, and superb pastries! I most frequently order the Vietnamese iced coffee, hot matcha, or hot or iced jasmine tea (for a caffeine free option).

What a unique place to check-out with enticing flavors! The workers were so friendly as well. I tried the Natalie drink. Beautiful combination of maple and pecan... and so much depth to the flavor! I also tried a pork bao bao bun and thought it was quite delicious as well. They have a great amount of parking thanks to having a parking lot. One thing to note is when they're busy there might not be a place to sit down. I was close to not finding a spot, which is a good problem to have!

Lots of parking, seating, and really warm space to hang out with your friends and get drinks. The staff are all super kind and helpful. I got the iced ube matcha and it was really good! It was almost a little coconuty, but the ube and matcha flavors had such a good balance that wasn't overly sweet. The matcha wasn't overly strong either so it's not as earthy as most matcha drinks I've had. I only had one drink and was really impressed and would love to try more on the menu next time.

Wow! I'll gladly go out of my way for this. First of all the menu is so exciting in every corner it's almost impossible just to chiose something to order. But really you can't go wrong. My group had an Ube Matcha, Tiramisu Latte, and the Caphe Trung Egg Coffee and everyone was equally hyped about it. We also grabbed a yuzu scone, cacio e pepe bagel, and another pastry and all were great. I can't wait to go back!

Highly recommend their pandan latte -- it's not too sweet and the pandan flavor is strong. The coffee shop itself is cozy, there's a parking lot out front, and the service is friendly and efficient.

Every single time I've been here has been amazing. Truly, everything is great. My latest visit, I tried the pandan latte and they had a special pop up for liege waffles that was everything I wanted and more. What I really like is that the coffees are flavorful, but not necessarily overly sweet. I strongly recommend the pandan latte, or the matcha latte.

Finally made my way to Càphin and it was everything I had hoped for a Vietnamese coffee shop. I loved how clean and pretty the space was as well as the easy to read menus. I ordered their Ca Phe Kem Chuoi which was a banana cream latte with coconut cream and honestly- I would like a gallon of this ready to drink in my fridge. Cream with a sweet banana flavor that paired so well with the espresso, I'm so bummed it's a seasonal option. Parking was easy and staff are very kind! Highly recommend for a fun new coffee experience.

Really great coffee! Maybe the best I've had in a coffee shop in the US! Vietnamese-style coffee is very distinctive, and apparently it's really strong and intense, but not overwhelming. I've had a few of their coffee drinks now, and as someone who likes something sweet and hot and milky, I've never been disappointed. This last time I came, my friend wanted straight black coffee, and I wanted the "dine-in experience", which is the same thing except that you watch it filter in front of you, and mix in some sweetened condensed milk to your preference. We both really loved this, and I will 100% be getting that again. Another in our party got a simple oolong tea with some oat milk and it was honestly excellent as well. They have many other unique coffee offerings that I'm excited to try! The service is really friendly and the space is modern and beautifully decorated. The community has discovered how good they are, and as such they have been very busy when I've come in during weekend mornings, but it slows down a little later. Even if you come when it's busy, it's worth the wait, but seating is hard to come by at that time. Serious coffee enthusiasts absolutely must make a point to come in. Bring someone you want to spend time with, get the dine-in experience, and savor those slow-drip minutes, that's what i recommend.

A lovely coffee shop serving Vietnamese coffee and other treats. I'm so happy that they're grown from their coffee truck to a permanent place! They have a great selection of coffee, and I love the specialty drinks that change every month (the owner said she enjoys drawing flavors from childhood favorites). I've had their lovely pandan latte, so I took the owner's recommendation and tried the month's special (Oct, 2024): ca phe kem chuõi (banana latte). The banana flavor was light and fresh like they used actual bananas! The shop itself is cozy, and a great place to do some computer work or meet up with a friend. Their prices are the same with other coffee shops in the area, if not a bit more economical (especially considering the quality and variety of flavors). All in all, I will drive out of my way to visit this place to grab a coffee and a sweet treat! Bathrooms: 2 handicap accessible, all-gender restrooms. Very clean! Parking: free parking lot

The ambiance is cute inside. I ordered a strawberry matcha, which was ok. I like that the matcha wasn't super strong but the strawberry was just a bit much for me. The service was pleasant and quick. Easy to find location and there's lots of parking right out front

Caphin Minneapolis is one of the first Vietnamese coffee shops where they offer different types of variety for drinks! I really like how they made the place look it is bright and welcoming. I would say I wish there was a bit more space for seating but other than that I like how everything is! The workers are friendly and sweet. This was my first time trying the Ube + matcha and it was AMAZING! Be sure to mix it well together, so you can try it all out together. If I lived closer, I would get this more often. The only thing I don't like is it is a little pricey for how small the cup is... I feel like it could be a little cheaper for the amount they give. Other than that I would still go back and have this drink again. There are lots of other options that sounds great, and it would be a great place to do work or have a drink with friends! They do other snacks but it was sold out when I went. But I will definitely be back again.

I love Vietnamese coffee so much that I drove 30 min just to drink this. Càphin was worth the drive. If you've never had Vietnamese coffee, you need to give this place a try. It has a much different flavor than third wave arabica beans. I would describe it as a more comforting, toffee-like flavor, which is so nice in the morning. The egg coffee was a fantastic, and a generous pour. The donuts from SoYen were a great surprise for us. We've been wanting to try these for weeks, so we were excited. The raspberry lychee donut was out of this world - the light floral flavor of the fruits paired incredibly well with the richness of the cream and dough. They did a great job making a strip mall storefront feel elegant, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. You have to try this place.

Not really a lunch place. Out of Banh mi by 12:30pm, all they had were soggy pork buns. Coffee is solid, I've had be classic and egg custard. Honestly I can't tell if this is exotic or actually good. Service was distracted with socializing among themselves, but pleasant. The space is Instagrammable but terribly designed for winter. The air is always freezing because there's nothing blocking the door in the small space.

Came here with a friend for the first time & ordered an iced Caphe Sua (the classic). It was SOO good! The staff were really nice & the cafe itself felt nice and cozy. Will come again :)

The Vietnamese coffee (ca phe sua) here is EXCELLENT, super strong and smooth, just like the ones I drank in Vietnam. They even have the traditional brewing method available for dine-in. I also really loved the pandan latte, it was so delicious. They use high quality beans and it's definitely apparent! Staff is super friendly, so if this is your first time trying Vietnamese coffee don't hesitate to ask for a recommendation and they will steer you in the right direction. Lovely, naturally light filled space with plants - good spot to spend some time working! Ample parking available in the lot outside.

The drinks and pastries here are really good! My only complaint is that they run out of food and don't have any backup options available, so if you go here on a weekday you might not be able to get anything to eat. Parking is free and easy.

Absolutely perfect! I've seen a lot of social media buzz as this coffee business opened its brick and mortar last month. I've been 3 times already and always look forward to my next stop! Located in a strip mall, plenty of shared parking available! The space itself is adorable! Greenery, cute neon lights, and plenty of seating make this a lovely spot to grab and go, meet up with a friend, or work from remote. The staff is super duper friendly and I love supporting this local family-owned business. The coffee is delectable. I've had the Egg Latte and the Vietnamese Coffee on my visits. The Egg Latte is a lovely blend of creamy fluff and strong cold coffee. Not overly sweet, it was delish! I've also had their in-shop Vietnamese coffee experience which was stellar. I love that they serve the condensed milk on the side you can add to taste. Brilliant! Will be back as often as I can!

Went for the soft opening on lunar new year and it's crazy busy already! Been watching for a while and stopped in to talk with the owner. They're running 10% off until the 17th and everyone was super nice. Living a block away you know I'll be back to try their drinks, food, and anything else!

Caphin I absolutely love them. Vietnamese iced coffee done up with Pandan and ube - my favorite! Jenny and Savio are the best people and I'm always happy to support them. It's a cozy vibe in here and the drinks always wow. I definitely recommend!

This place was packed when we arrived, there was a line out the door! The parking was not bad, there was a lot that was pretty full, and also street parking. The inside is very cute and charming! I love the floral and neon and it felt very clean. The coffee has really great flavor but was not too sweet! I got the Ca Phe Trung which was more coffee forward which is usually what I like and it was delicious! I will definitely try another kind next time! All the donuts from Soyen are SOOO PRETTY and taste great!! I would absolutely recommend trying one!!

Stopped in to get some goodies at this cafe, there was a pop up event inside. This gal was selling pastries. We also ordered a couple of their ube drinks and decided to try their dumpling. There wasn't too many people inside so service was really quick. Ambiance is cute, they had their name on the wall for anyone who wants to do selfies.

Immaculate, friendly, good coffee and they know what a Flat White is and how to make it. I will always go to a local coffee shop if there is one and I will go back to this one the next time I'm in the area visiting family.

My mom and brother had stopped here during one of the last pop ups and kept telling me how good the coffee was so when a detour took us down France avenue I knew I had to stop in and try it out! Loved the coffee it's strong and then adding the condensed milk is so good!! Also super cute decor the green sparkly sequins outside and then natural vibe inside! I'll definitely be back :)

Wow!!! I've been to càphin's truck at the mill city farmers market before, so when I heard they were getting a brick and mortar location I was super excited. The space is super cute inside with a good amount of seating. By the time I got there all the food was sold out except the (delicious) bao buns, so be sure to arrive early if you want pastries! The line was long but moved quickly. You can't go wrong with a single drink on this menu everything is absolutely delicious! Even though it's a bit of a drive from where I live, it's worth it every time, plus when the weather is nice it's a short drive away from lake Harriet to pair an iced ube matcha with a walk around the lake!

If you like Vietnamese coffee, this is the place for you. They have a variety of drinks on their menu to pick from, not just Vietnamese coffee. And they carry selected foods, so do check their website or Instagram for menu updates. Nice and clean restaurant. Limited seating.

I live for Vietnamese coffee and I am so glad Caphin is now open in the Twin Cities. The service is great and the coffee is as close as I will get to Vietnam in MN.

Nice atmosphere, super friendly staff with great service. We just had drinks, B had the egg coffee so he could compare with his vacation experience, not as thick and creamy but very tasty. I had the mango matcha which was so delicious I am definitely returning. Good non-dairy options for about half of the drinks on the menu. Definitely recommend. The baked goods looked delicious.

I went on a weekend two weeks after they opened, and it was pretty packed. The line went pretty fast, and we were able to grab a table. I ordered the Egg Coffee and the Ube Matcha Latte. Both drinks were incredible, and the Ube flavor really came through. The egg coffee is my favorite so far, as it is not as sweet, and it goes perfectly with the coffee. I could not get the donuts they had on the weekend as they sold out fast.

Left my review when they were still serving out of a food truck. Now they finally settled down at this place. Although it is a bit space for a coffee shop, the selection of their coffee still the same and the taste doesn't disappoint as expected.

Stopped by Caphin during the soft opening week and got an Ube Dream Latte. The Vietnamese coffee + ube was a tasty combination! The cafe itself has really cute decor and the service was great. I'll have to come back for pastries and other drinks!

DRINKS: Oh my goodness... if you are a coffee lover you NEED to check out cáphin!! Vietnamese coffee is my new obsession. We tried the Ube Latte and the Pandan Latte and they were incredible. I thought the Pandan latte was going to taste like matcha, but I was so wrong- it sm tasted like sweet, vanilla coconut! Will be going back!! SERVICE: The service was awesome- I had no idea what any of the menu items were and they were very helpful in explaining + helping me choose! AMBIANCE: Such a cute vibe! There aren't a ton of seats, so if it's crowded you might have to stand or take it to go. LOCATION/PARKING: Location is in South Minneapolis/ Edina. There is a parking lot, as it is located in a strip mall.

Check this place out!! I tried Caphin's egg coffee and it was so so good. I was a bit apprehensive since I wasn't sure how it would taste (I've never had egg coffee before), but I am so glad I gave it a shot because it was so incredible! Rich, flavorful, and delicious. It also gave me a great buzz and the coffee was perfectly brewed. Seriously, so good!! I will absolutely be back to get more and try more of their drinks.

Literally the most AMAZING Vietnamese coffee and matcha drinks in the Twin Cities! We had found them via Instagram and while visiting Minnesota made our way to the midtown farmers market to catch their food truck! The service was friendly and the ambiance of the farmers market was so lovely! I love being able to have a fun drink to walk around and sip on :) My friends and I ordered the following: the ube matcha latte, the strawberry matcha latte, and the classic Vietnamese coffee. All were iced and all were INCREDIBLE! We also all ordered bahn mi which was the best bahn mi I've had in a while! 15/10 would recommend - I'm already excited to visit the Twin Cities soon just for another ube matcha from their truck! *I ate the bahn mi so fast I didn't get a picture but trust me that it slaps!

I didn't get a picture of the Ube latte because I couldn't wait to try it and then the next thing I knew it was all gone... but needless to say the Vietnamese coffee at Caphin is amazing! Cutest hardworking couple that owns their truck , and always serves with a smile on their face. Loved it so much that we had them cater at my backyard party! And 10/10 would do it again!

Caphin has been getting a LOT of hype on social media lately, and their drinks and food all look amazing visually. However, I have to report a mixed bag for the taste of their offerings. To begin, the ube matcha latte was AMAZING, one of the best matcha drinks I've ever had. The Vietnamese iced coffee, however, was fairly "meh," I was really hoping for a drink that brought me back to the drinks I enjoyed in Vietnam, but this one fell short. The banh mi was so-so, it was fairly tasty, but lacked that "wow" factor too. We caught this truck at the Mill City Farmer's Market, and the line was fairly long. I would consider waiting in it again for the ube matcha drink, but probably not the banh mi or the Vietnamese coffee.

Such a beautiful space in a great location. The owners are so sweet and attentive and able to answer any questions that we have. The space has simple and tasteful decor and a great place to grab a snack and coffee with friends. We will be coming back!

Tried Caphin for the first time today after passing a few times through the neighborhood. The interior is welcoming and cozy. Since this was my first time with Vietnamese coffee, I wasn't sure what to try. The barista was so welcoming and she graciously took the time to explain each of the drinks on the menu with helpful recommendations! I ended up trying the "classic" Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and was blown away. The coffee was strong and had a kick, but was balanced perfectly by the sweet condensed milk. I liked it so much I decided to get a second drink and tried the egg cream coffee too. It was even better--the egg cream was absolute velvet and gave a nice body to the rich coffee. At this point I was pretty caffeinated (but very happy). Will definitely come back with friends to try more items on the menu. Can't recommend enough!

Seriously SO good! I got the Caphe La Dua, it was super sweet and tasty! Definitely recommend if you're looking to shake up your coffee routine!
