The Capital Hotel is an unparalleled experience of luxury and style. The architectural elements, design, and attention to detail are unmatched anywhere in Arkansas, or perhaps in this country. The gracious hospitality of the staff sets a special tone at the hotel. The reservationist, Matt, is extraordinarily efficient, helpful, and friendly. He is the best in my 25 years of lodging here. The front desk crew is always so welcoming and helpful, however Beatrice is truly the epitome of southern hospitality. Also, handing the keys to my car to Billy, who strikes the perfect blend of friendliness with professionalism, begins your first impression of the hotel on an invaluable positive note. Enjoying this hotel is an experience that will keep you coming back for more.

We had such a fantastic experience at this hotel. The rooms and lobby were super clean, and the whole place just felt fresh and well cared for. The architecture was beautiful and open, with lots of space to relax and enjoy. There’s an outdoor covered balcony on the second floor that was really nice. The staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming, and valet made everything easy. I loved the rosemary scented shower soaps (they smelled amazing), and while we didn’t use them, the provided robes and slippers was a thoughtful touch, and gave a spa like experience. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful, which made a huge difference. The bed was incredibly comfortable; I’m pregnant and usually struggle to sleep, but I slept like a dream here. Overall, a very lovely stay. Highly recommend!

This historic hotel is such a gem! My mom and I enjoyed a couple of wonderful days on Memorial Day weekend here, and we were treated like royalty. From the moment we checked in with Angela, we felt so pampered. We had a wonderful large room on the second floor, so my mom could easily access the balcony. Everything was so perfectly appointed in the room, a filled ice bucket, water bottles, delicious Frette linens with numerous fluffy pillows. We enjoyed cocktails and dinner at the Capital Bar and Grill, wonderful breakfasts at the One Eleven bistro, and we enjoyed quiet reading on the beautiful balcony. And on our last day, while waiting out some rain and preparing for our ride to the airport, we enjoyed some wine in the elegant lobby and were treated to a little pimento cheese with their homemade chips by Peter, one of the managers. What a send-off! Oh, and don't forget to inquire about their fabulous, specially seasoned pecans - they make wonderful gifts. Thank you to everyone. You made my mom's last trip a very memorable one!

Google
OUTSTANDING experience. The deluxe king suite was beautifully adorned and had cathedral ceilings with crown molding. The furniture was antique yet exceptionally well maintained. The turndown service was well done and they even filled the ice bucket in anticipation of my arrival each night!!!! The nicest touch was the personalized welcome note from the manager and the tin of candied pecans!!!! Lovely establishment and staff. Would definitely recommend for special occasions….btw the elevator was beautiful and huge…😉

Google
Capital Hotel was great. The staff were so friendly. The bartender went out of his way to make me comfortable and engage in conversation with me to inform me about the area and hotel. The manager and waitress were so accommodating in breakfast restaurant. We had six for breakfast last minute because they were closing early, I think, because they were having an Easter brunch upstairs, but they still served us all. A big thank you to Chef for doing that! From front desk agents to housekeeping, they were all so nice. To me, it says a lot when service is consistent with every department. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Google
Outstanding doesn't even begin to describe our experience at this beautifully maintained hotel! The staff went above and beyond to ensure my mother and I had an exceptional stay. The food is superb and the rooms were nothing less than ideal! We truly forgot where we were as if we stepped into a portal into the best timeline possible in the quantum universe. lol We would also like to extend a special thank you to Steven and Cole at the front desk as well as all restaurant/bar staff (thank you Andy, Jessica/Jennifer - sorry if I got that wrong - and Peter) along with the engineering team. This was the perfect leisurely time off we needed as we visited family in Arkansas. Highly recommend booking your next stay here!

Google
Well the location depend on what you like they are a full service hotel so you get out in front and they park your car. A lot of stairs if you want a workout but they do have a huge elevator, LoL. It is very beautiful hotel all staff has been awesome the food is really good. So I talked to other guests and found that both shower doors do slide. So this is me saying I'm sorry I should have checked before posting but also the tubs are deep and you should be comfortable stepping in. I did make them aware of the problem and I'm sure they will address it. As I said they are very nice place and do their best to make you comfortable and all needs met.

Google
This hotel exceeded all of my expectations!! The gentleman who delivered my room service went above & beyond for me and I was super grateful! When I mentioned to him that I had a headache he ensured I received some Advil delivered to my room. That simple gesture was the kindness I needed at that moment. Thank you to the whole team who made my stay unforgettable. I will be back!!

Yelp
The most hospitable and luxurious hotel in Little Rock! An amazing staff who were so attentive and a lovely restaurant for a spa like breakfast. Beautiful, comfortable and quiet room. Honestly the only problem was the neighborhood which is sketchy to say the least. But if you are in Little Rock this is the best place to stay. Whoever was working there during our stay deserves kudos for their warmth and helpfulness - front desk, valet, housekeeping. You all were great!. This was 5 star all the way! Wish hotels in California had this dedication.

Hannah M.

Yelp
Charming old hotel located in downtown Little Rock. Love the ornate old details of this place. The marble pillars, extra large elevators that carried horses many years ago, etc. All hotel employees were very friendly and attentive. I couldn't get over how well housekeeping kept the rooms. The provided extra supplies without even having to ask and lined everything up from our shoes on the floor to toiletries on the counter. I wish my own cleaning lady was this spectacular! The rooms were very generous in size. The bed linens and towels were also great - my mom had raved about this and i thought she was crazy. I left our stay wanting their towels! The hotel does offer valet which is convenient. Parking is $30 a day here. If you are wanting to dine the restaurant one eleven in the hotel provides a delicious fresh breakfast and brunch -- if only t they were open for dinner!

Yelp
My lovely bride and I stayed here over a long weekend to see the solar eclipse. This is a beautiful hotel, solidly built in 1876, with plenty of history and exquisite details, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Two good restaurants, excellent service, great location. Highly recommended.

Yelp
A very stunningly beautiful with French Revival architecture on the interior. Located right off of the main strip. Perfect for people who want to be in the mix of things. Little Rock is one of the most understated happening places that I've seen. Extremely friendly customer service. Fresh food. Free parking and a very Lively feel.

K M.

Yelp
We've stayed at this beautiful Little Rock hotel over the years. They are currently doing a property "refresh" so our beloved "One Eleven"' restaurant was closed for dinner when we arrived. Our standard room was, as usual, well appointed, meticulously clean and comfortable. The bath toiletries were a cut above as well. For evening turn-down service we were handed bottled water. The second floor included a lovely terrace that we used while waiting for our meal reservation elsewhere. Check out the guest elevator too. It's the biggest I've ever seen! Valet parking is $30 / day and we found the service fast. If the main restaurant ever reopens for evening meals, we will be certain to return for a hotel stay.

Holly H.

Yelp
This place is absolutely beautiful! There is so much to look at. There are so many places to see. You can hang out outside.. inside upstairs downstairs. It's all so beautiful Christmas time is a wonderful time to visit!

Ashly H.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel. We are normally Marriott, Hilton and Hyatt VIPs but decided to come here despite not getting any rewards points. Stayed in a grand executive suite and it's gorgeous. I love the lobby! The room was spacious and fun to hang out in.

Allyson L.

Yelp
The Capital Hotel is a wonderful historical landmark. The jr suites are large and have a classic yet modern aesthetic. The food from the hotel bars is great. I would stay here again.

Tom A.

Yelp
I have stayed here many times in the last 40 years and always leave impressed with The Capital. The rooms are very comfortable and finely decorated. The Bar and Restaurant are the best in town. The service is always impeccable. And a great location in the heart of Little Rock.

Jerry B.

Yelp
Yesterday, 24 May 2022 I had the best breakfast and it really wasn't the food as much as it was the Service. Kaitlyn provided exceptional service. Kaitlyn was so I attentive to everything required and her understanding of the hotel history was outstanding which made for great conversation not just the typical "what would you like" service. She is a must keep and should be promoted to a position of more responsibility. Great food and service for my morning breakfast. Thanks Kaitlyn!!

Nick H.

Yelp
If you have loads of time to kill then get straight to the breakfast restaurant. The decor and ambience is top notch so there's no where better to sit and wonder when a server will show up. It's very tricky cause there are staff running around looking busy but those ones can't take your order. Sorry. The food (once you've ordered) is very good. They've thought of it all here and have built in a healthy digesting period but that only starts when you get their attention and ask for the bill. It won't come automatically cause there's no rushing around in this establishment. They've had zero accidents caused by people hustling.

Guido V.

Yelp
The Capital is an exquisite classic hotel the perfect balance of dark work and white marble. Home to the best hotel service in town... The staff here are pros among pros! Two restaurants and classic Bar in the grill and a more modern version across the hall. The only downside is inescapable but well tolerable in the fact that the rooms are small... Makes sense, they're old, but not that old or small, it's just not the norm people are used. Staying here is always a highlight!

Tara L.

Yelp
This hotel is elegant, regal and classic. Since my first and only stay here was during the holiday season, it was decked to the max, like something out of a Christmas movie. The lobby and common areas are grand and the hotel rooms are traditional, clean and inviting. (And the pecan brittle that was wrapped and waiting for me on my bed was a welcoming touch!) Since my trip was a quick one, I didn't really get to experience the bar and restaurants on the main level but was pleased to see that I could grab a beverage of the caffeinated variety downstairs any time I needed one. If you're thinking about staying here, I'd check the rates at different times because there seems to be some significant range depending on when you look at it. When booking for myself, I found a rate around $200 a night, went back a few days later it was up to high $300s and when I checked again a few days later it was back to around $200 a night once again (all for the same date.) But if you do end up staying here, I'm pretty confident you'll be satisfied with your decision. It's class all the way.

Yelp
I was so disappointed in this hotel, particularly for the price. We were gone all day our first full day and came back at 6pm to find our room was not serviced as we had been told it would be and were told it was because the cleaning staff was too busy getting rooms ready for new guests. We had arrived the evening prior.. We were also told they didn't have room service as we were told because of the covid lockdown...which was three years ago and over for two.years. We were exhausted from travel so we ordered takeout which a cleaning person immediately picked up from outside our door right after it was delivered to throw away. The shower was cold and did not go above lukewarm after trying for an hour. Additionally we ordered waters for the room that were left at the front desk, who never bothered to call us and tell us it was there. Last but not least, when my wife and I arrived we were asked if we wanted two rooms.. My immediate reaction was to think i had accidentally booked two rooms, but i hadn't. He then proceeded to ask us if we wanted a double instead of the king i had booked. At this point i realized he was making heterosexist assumptions because we are two women, but we are married nonetheless. I realize it's Arkansas but there are actually plenty of gay people here. It was extremely off putting and our gay money was still taken. I would suggest sensitivity training for the staff.

Raven U.

Yelp
Was absolutely stunned by this hotel! Customer service was fantastic, and the rooms were gorgeous. Everything was very clean and we had a very comfortable stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Bobbi G.

Yelp
Cool old historic hotel. Great location. The bar is very proud of their wine list. More affirdable wines would be nice offer.

Teena S.

Yelp
This is the best hotel in Little Rock! I just wish it wasn't so far away from home or else I would come here just for the hotel. First off, the customer service is outstanding! You don't have to wait for a long check in as they have everything ready for you at the front desk and at times walk you to your room. My favorite people are: Kerin at concierge, Brittany at Ashley's, Karen at the front desk and Jerry. They are always so nice and helpful. Kerin always see my kids running around during the day like the hotel is a big playground & is super sweet to them. They love her! Jerry referred us to great restaurants in the area where we met some really nice people. As far as the room goes, I love that the water turns hot pretty quickly. The amenities are Molton Brown and smell nice. The bed is comfortable and turn down service is a must - you get pecan toffee & bottled water! Yummy! Both restaurants in the hotel are nice. Ashley's for breakfast/lunch has my favorite lady, Brittany working there. She's very welcoming & super nice. Thanks for the great customer service & making us feel at home.

Gary D.

Yelp
We've been guests at the Capital several times over the years. After living on the west coast for two years, I wondered if the standards had slipped at our Little Rock treasure. My stay couldn't have been better. Everyone and everything was the finest imaginable. Eat at the One Eleven restaurant as many times as you can manage for food and drinks prepared to perfection.

Jed R.

Yelp
I stayed at the Capital Hotel when interviewing with a certain company in Arkansas. The place is magnificent. Rooms are extremely classy and the hotel has everything you need. It's located in a prime location near where night life happens making it a great place to stay.

Beth R.

Yelp
So happy this Amazing hotel is open again! Had a wonderful Southern hospitality welcome when I first arrived. Then had a fabulous dinner in Capital Bar and Grill. It did not disappoint and our server Riley was the BEST. I can't wait to come back!

Peggy S.

Yelp
I grew up in Little Rock (I remember rand have stayed at the Capital Hotel several times but this weekend was terrible! Our room (#308) was directly above the second floor where a band was playing for a wedding reception. The reception wasn't supposed to end until11pm. (It is after 10pm). The music was louder in our room than in the lobby. And the hotel said they had no other rooms available. I will not stay here again.

Ana O.

Yelp
Five star hotel and service! I enjoyed the old school luxury and personal service at the Capital Hotel. For one I'm a history buff and I love old buildings - the Capital offers both. Though it has all the modern amenities, the Capital has traditional decor and styling. Some of the perks you get are valet parking, personal service to your room, bathrobes and slippers in your room, upgraded bath supplies, and turndown service. My favorite part was the turndown service with the pecan toffee! Aside from being an awesome hotel, the Capital is located at the perfect location near the Little Rock river walk, restaurants and shops. And you can walk to the Clinton Presidential Library. We actually ate most of our meals at the restaurants within the Capital, as they have two. Excellent service at their bar and grill, and upscale breakfast at the One Eleven restaurant. Now the Capital Hotel is not for the budget conscious! It is quite pricey but it's definitely a special treat. So if you can, go ahead and Treat Yo 'self with a stay at the Capital Hotel!

Katherine I.

Yelp
If I ever return to Little Rock, I will definitely stay here. This is an absolutely beautiful, historic hotel. The rooms were a nice size. I was in a queen room and there was plenty of space to sit; a large closet; and a sizeable bathroom. The room was clean and immaculate everyday. The bathroom tile was white and it shined. I was here as part of a conference so we had the hotel's catered food. It was great. Since we ate catered food, I ventured out from the hotel for meals that were not provided as part of the conference. I did have some drinks at both bars and they were great. You may not get all the typical "amenities" since this is a historic building. There is a gym you can use across the street. I heard it was very nice, but I never personally ventured there. Another thing people might think is "missing" from this place is a pool. Most of the time I am in a new city, I am out exploring, not sitting by the pool, so I didn't miss it. The hotel is near lots of "stuff" to do downtown. Most "stuff " is in walking distance so the location worked for our group since it was easy to walk to restaurants and bars a few blocks away. Most importantly, they had Molton Brown bath products and they were not stingy about refilling them!

Anne T.

Yelp
Beautiful historic hotel with all the updates you would expect for a hotel right in down town Little Rock. Still following COVID precautions, which I appreciate. Exceptional service. Room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Would recommend to anyone.

Miriam D.

Yelp
Absolutely the best service I've ever experienced. Lovely hotel, accommodating and helpful staff, they even delivered complementary champagne TWICE to my room, which was quite welcome after long days in high heels and stockings :) Who knew such a gem would be found in Little Rock?!

Bright B.

Yelp
This place is old school luxury. Where do I begin... the beautiful grand walk up stair case, the coffee, wine, the luxurious bed, the banana pudding, the beautiful veranda over looking downtown, the pecan toffee, the amazing service... what else is there?

Jamison B.

Yelp
This hotel is very old school and classy. People were very friendly and helpful. The room came with a big bath robe and comfortable slippers. The elevator is big enough to do a cart wheel. We ordered room service at 8:20 Pm and the lady on the phone was glad to help. We ordered the " house made ice cream and freshly baked cookies" The ice cream was DELICIOUS and creamy and the cookies were warm and soft. The bathroom has Molton Brown shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, mouthwash, and nail set. Beds were very comfortable. We ate at the Capital Bar And Grill for dinner, which is inside the hotel, and it was delicious. Very formal. Our waiter was very helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are coming through Little Rock for the night or even a honeymoon!

Renae G.

Yelp
I go to the Capitol Hotel Restaurant, One Eleven, at least twice a year for special occasions. My favorite part is the valet parking. My car is a old piece of junk, but they are always kind and courteous. Once, they brought my car around and told me that the battery was dead, and they had to use jumper cables to start it. The staff treated me as if I were a queen, and deserved dignity and respect. I drove straight to the car dealership and got a new battery. This could have been an embarrassing and humiliating experience, but the valets were wonderful to me.

Kimberly M.

Yelp
Beautiful historic hotel! Service is absolutely amazing. Food was delicious!!! Staff is very attentive and accommodating. Highly recommended! You won't be disappointed.

Kirsten H.

Yelp
The hotel was amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have been happier. The decor was beautiful and the rooms were spectacular!

Kristen C.

Yelp
5 Star experience!!! One of the best hotels I've stayed at in a while and for the price it was absolutely fantastic!!! Amazing staff! Fantastic room! Great food and the toffee they leave on your bed is to die for! Perfectly brewed coffee in the am - room service. Gym next door on the 8th floor - perfect! I had a great stay and if I ever have to come to little rock again I wouldn't stay anywhere else!!! The Capitol is more like a 5 star hotels then most 5 star hotels!!!

BillyJac J.

Yelp
This is my second time here in the last two months. First time was 5 star, this time I give only a 3 star review because : 1. Room was great 2. Doormen hanging around desk talking rather than opening the doors and greeting guests 3. Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was okay but my eggs overlooked (ordered over easy) and no coffee left on table and set mice not up to par For the money charged for a room here the management needs to get more hands on and demand better service from staff. Otherwise, a beautiful hotel!

Beth C.

Yelp
We stay at the Capital Hotel every time we go to Little Rock for business. Such a wonderful place. Beautiful, well-kept rooms, fantastically comfortable beds and bedding, delightful turndown service (They give you pecan toffee!), great wifi, and some of the best customer service in the business. There are occasional issues, but if notified hotel staff handle them promptly and professionally. (One of my visits there was simply no time to call them about a problem with my room service breakfast before I had to run to a meeting.) I have been meaning to leave a review here for a while, but was just reminded of how great the Capital is by staying at another high end boutique hotel in New England (on yet another business trip). It's funny how seeing terrible customer service in one place reminds you of how very important it is. I really appreciate the level of dedication to the customer shown at this hotel. I'm already looking forward to my next visit with you.

Julie K.

Yelp
I've stayed in hundreds of hotels over the last few years, and the Capital Hotel is one of the nicest. Southern hospitality at its best with comfortable and well appointed rooms in a gorgeous historic hotel.

Jessica B.

Yelp
This is probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff at the Capital went above and beyond to ensure my now-husband and I had a perfect stay in the days leading up to and including our wedding night. Everyone was so nice and accommodating and our out of town guests that chose the Capital (we had room blocks here and across the street at the Marriott) are still raving about their stays. I should note too that those that stayed at the Marriott are still lamenting their decisions after hearing about the experiences of those that chose the Capital. :) Hotels like this one are a dying breed....personalized notes, service, and thoughtful gestures are hard to come by in my experience...regardless of price point. For example, when my husband and I got back to the hotel after the wedding, staff was waiting for us at the entrance, with a person on hand to take the bit of wedding cake we saved to the hotel's kitchen for safe keeping. I honestly wouldn't have thought of that and probably would have just crammed it in our room's mini-refrigerator. Add on the complimentary chocolate-covered strawberries and sparkling wine and I'd say our time here was absolute perfection. My only regret is that I waited over a year to write this review as this hotel and its wonderful staff deserve the highest praise. I encourage anyone coming to Little Rock to incorporate the Capital into your visit - its elegance is unmatched and you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
The Capital Hotel provides the ideal, I might even say "dream," hotel experience. I would definitely stay here when I have the opportunity and have every confidence in recommending them to anyone. My husband and I stayed here one night for our anniversary recently (we only live 30 minutes away), and we dined at Ashley's as part of our celebration. I was amazed and delighted at the level of service from the second we arrived until we left. When we arrived, we walked into the lobby, and the manager had a folio in his hand for our check in. He took us right up to the room and checked us in there (no waiting awkwardly at a check-in desk for service). I had booked our room online, and in the notes mode on the reservation, I wrote that we were celebrating our anniversary. The manager knew this and congratulated us, even noting the year. I reserved the least expensive room they had listed for $180 per night, which was a Queen standard, or something like that, but I wondered if they had upgraded us, because it seemed we had a King standard room. Also, they had white wine chilling for us in the room, and had a bowl of their amazing pecans, too! IN ADDITION, they had written us a card to celebrate our anniversary and wished us well. It was really astounding. The rooms are simply beautiful and very elegantly appointed. Every last detail is thought of. Yes, the bathrooms aren't huge, but they are lovely and big enough, and have the little amenities that make it easy to get ready. The closet is big enough to put your bag on the luggage stand, and the light turns itself on and off. There are robes and complimentary slippers. We had a lovely dinner, and after the wine pairings, I was glad we were staying over. I slept wonderfully in the comfortable bed. In the morning, we decided to go ahead and eat breakfast at Ashley's as well. We weren't very hungry, but I had a delightful cappuccino and a croissant and perfect soft-boiled egg. My husband had his beloved Cheerios. (He was so happy to see those on the menu!) We decided to check out and leave our bags with the bell station so we could zip across the street and pick up our race packets for the Little Rock half-marathon. The woman at the bell station was incredibly friendly and helpful and stored them for us for a little while. When we returned and picked up our car from valet parking (free if you're dining or drinking there, $18 if you're staying there), she gave us little Capital Hotel waters to take with us and made sure we had everything we needed as we left. From beginning to end, a wonderful, wonderful experience. The Capital Hotel sets the standard for hospitality!

Mark H.

Yelp
I have traveled all over the world, and this is hands down one of the finest hotels in the world. Sure there are great hotels that are uniquely appointed with fine antiques and grand trim and marble but do any of them offer what most consider to be true hospitality and that being 'Southern warmth and charm?' Not many if any. Many places outside of the South can't extend that type of service. Why? Simply because they are not in the South. There is something about the warm evenings and the feel of the air that makes even the most tired traveler joyful to be in the South. There are many grand hotels in New Orleans and one in Memphis but none offer the Southern Grace as The Capital. I could go on for paragraphs about how beautiful this place is but sometimes it is just best to let the building speak for itself. This hotel has history that makes for great conversation at the dinner table. Rumor has it that President U.S. Grant rode his horse up the stairs and had his horse stay in the room with him shortly after the hotel opened. Also, the elevator is one of the largest in the world and can hold close to 10,000 pounds. They, meaning 'rumorists' (I just made that word up) also say that it held the entire Arkansas state legislature once. I wonder if they argued as to which floor they were going to? "Let's go to the 3rd floor." One suggests. "No, I disagree, how about the 5th floor. The view is better up there." His opposing member replies. "Yes but we are in an elevator that has no windows' he replied as he hit the number 3 button. "Good point. Where is my drink?" Aww if it were only that simple. Anyway, if you are visiting Little Rock for any reason, then this is the only hotel that you should consider. If you are a local, I suggest that you make time for your loved one and take them here for a special night that you will talk about for the rest of your life. The Capital is simply elegant with Southern Hospitality as its engine.

R. Jonathon J.

Yelp
I am visiting Little Rock on business. I was told by the Tourist Baord that the Capital Hotel was the best. I founf the hotel staff engaging and lovely but please4 replace the bar staff. The bartender left me siiting there for 10 minutes (there was only 2 other people in the place). After my wine was served; a friend ot the bartender walked in and sat down...she proceeded to yell...yes, yell...across the bar and half the restaurant carrying on a 'conversation' yelling to her friend. I finished my wine and sat ,even after I asked for the check , for another 10 minutes while the bartender and waitress chatted about thier personal lives. At one point, I left the bar and carried on an extended conversation with the Front Desk about local sights (the bartender didn't even notice I was gone). The Front Desk was delightful, personable and very helpful. They should train the bart staff.

Jonathan S.

Yelp
Went for business, might have to return for pleasure... Staff: Staff here was second to none, from the doormen greeting you as you enter, the bellhop stand with complimentary waters and the very friendly front desk. Rooms: I stayed in likely their most economical room but even so it was well appointed with everything one needed, Flat Screen TV, Comfy Queen Sized Bed, Charging Valet for all your electronics, desk, chairs and armchair. The Bathroom also stayed inline with the decor and was even appointed with Molten Brown travel products. The Hotel itself is grand from the entrance, main lobby to the stairs which flow up to the guest rooms. There is a bar attached to the hotel which feels about as classy as one would want a bar to be and was well populated on the Thursday evening I was around. If you get a chance to stay, also make sure to check out their Balcony with a beverage to enjoy the evening.

Rhett B.

Yelp
Very cute boutique hotel. Would definitely return. Service is outstanding and everyone is so nice. Food and drinks are top notch. If you are in Little Rock for the night make this hotel your your first choice.

Amelia R.

Yelp
You had me at "Hello." Oh, and the part when you said, "I can see you are celebrating, may I bring some cocktails up to your room?" Yea...that part was effing wonderful too. Over the years, I have spent many nights this hotel. And, I truly love it. If you want a historic and classy experience. Look no further. Because, trust me. It is a waste of time. This is your guy. It is gorgeous and clean! The food is amazing! The employees are thoughtful, kind and friendly! The hotel drivers even schlepped us around in the wee hours of the am. Then, after waking up in not the not so best of conditions, they extended our check out to 1:00 (thank you. no really, thank you!!!) In any other city, they could easily get away with charging $400 plus on a room. It IS Little Rock... so their rooms start around $170. The hotel bar is fab too. Black painted wood, dark, sexy, moody, candlelit. They even serve Cristal, Yes.... you actually CAN find me in da club, bottle full of bub.

Yelp
My cousin stayed here on her honeymoon night, and rented it out the night before for her bridesmaids to get ready and the groomsmen to get ready. The groomsmen stayed here the night before with the groom. They were raving about how comfortable the suite was. (#246-248) It was massive, and very turn of the period like how it was when it was first built in the turn of the century 1900's. It was spacious, the bed I laid on for a few minutes to take a breather was extremely comfortable, the parlor was welcoming with the warm decor, and I loved the huge windows! I called myself to get a quote on that particular room in the event if I were to ever find myself back there -- for one night for two people in that suite would cost a whopping $630 plus tax. One can wish.... Oh well. At least I got to enjoy it for the time I did. My cousin said it was well worth the money spent.

Yelp
We were worried when we pulled up to the hotel as it's right on the street and didn't look very safe. I went inside and was amazed at the beautiful lobby! The clerk was so kind and helpful and got us checked-in immediately. There is a multi-level parking structure behind the hotel just for hotel guests with plenty of parking. Our room was immaculate. Because we had to be at UAMS for my son's lung surgery we weren't able to try their breakfast, but it sure smelled good. This will be my go-to hotel here in Little Rock.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at this hotel and from the pictures and reviews from others I miss understood just how upscale this hotel is. The staff is so welcoming. We got there and a staff member opens your door, then another staff member walks you to your room. The rooms are amazing. It's like you're not even staying in a hotel, it feels very homey. Check out was easy as well, while we were waiting for our car one of the staff was chatting with us making sure we had a great stay. The price you pay is definitely worth it.

Yelp
This is probably as nice a place as you will find anywhere in the country. I usually prefer new over old in hotels but this old gal is a gem. When you walk in, it is like stepping back in time. It is elegant, palatial and timeless. We checked our car at valet and walked in the lobby. There to greet us with folder in hand just inside the door was Austin. He said he would be taking us to our room and familiarizing us with the hotel. There was no "which way to registration" there was no standing at a check-in desk. Austin had everything ready and made our welcome seemless. That is actually a first for me and I like it. There are a few cons: - Austin asked if I would like a USA Today or other paper in front of my door in the morning (yea!). When I opened my door...no paper (boo!) - the toilet seat is extremely uncomfortable (sorry, but you need to know these things) - you could park a helicopter in the room, its so big, but the bathrooms at a La Quinta are bigger. Those minor picks aside, the service, ambience, and decor make this place a hands down 5 Star choice. I would not want to stay anywhere else in Little Rock.. Smiley face and a star.

Yelp
I cannot say enough about how awesome this place is ... The hotel is beautiful, really the nicest one my wife and I have stayed at that isn't a "resort" hotel. The staff is kind and make you feel important even if you are just passing through. The rooms have tall ceilings and are very clean and classy. We had some local beers at the Captial Grill and a meat and cheese tray that was excellent and then went to One Eleven across the lobby for the best oysters I've ever had and a couple of very well made Dirty Martini's. We also had an excellent breakfast at One Eleven the next morning (I'd recommend the steak and eggs). When we returned to our room, staff had given us some champagne and spicy pecans because we had mentioned it was our anniversary trip. The pecans were so addictive that upon returning home, my wife called to order some ... She held off on the order for the time being BUT the hotel decided to send us some anyway on the house. What a great way to treat a customer Capital Hotel, we will be returning in the future!
