Hotel Distrito Capital

"How did it strike you on arrival? The lobby of this contemporary design hotel—located in the city's most important business district—is all clean lines and modern art. Nice. What’s the crowd like?Young business people in well-cut suits. The good stuff: Tell us about your room. The rooms have impressive views of the city and the surrounding mountains. You can lie in bed and watch as the sun sinks and the city lights up. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?Best part about the beds is that all the buttons and gadgets are within reach; no need to get up to close the blackout curtains or change the song. (The speaker system syncs with your phone so you can play music throughout the space.) Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down. Some rooms have high-pressure rain showers; others have deep, rectangular tubs. (The one in the Royal Suite fronts floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can look out over the city during your soak.) Bonus points for the Aqua di Parma bath goodies. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Wi-Fi is free and fast. Room service: Worth it?Room service comes from the on-site restaurant by Chef Patricia Silvera, known for its Mexican-with-a-global-twist cuisine. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.The fifth-floor pool is 43 feet-long—perfect for swimming laps (or taking relaxing dips). At night, the pool area turns into a bar, which is open until 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay? The bathtub with a view is a bathing experience you likely won't forget. Also, the in-room speaker system connects to your phone, so you can listen to your own music. Bottom line: worth it, and why?Distrito Hotel is the perfect option for business and leisure travelers who want to be in Santa Fe—but not a traditional chain hotel." - Susannah Rigg

"The lobby of this contemporary design hotel—located in Santa Fe, the city's most important business district—is all clean lines and modern art. (Expect to see lots of young professionals in well-cut suits.) Though there's plenty to do in the surrounding area, chances are you'll want to just sit in your room, all of which have impressive views of the city and mountains. But it's worth getting out of bed to swim in the fifth-floor pool, a staggering 43 feet long." - Susannah Rigg

Room was good. I left a bag on a lobby couch and came back to get it a couple of hours after. When I came back for my bag the workers at the front desk had looked through my bag and took some handmade flowers and put them in a pot at the front desk. I also had some missing things from my bag other than the flowers, all though im not sure who took them.

Great value and the rooms are ok, no ac but still can be a good stay. Location is perfect, a 5 mins walk and you'll be at the Revolution square and the Line 2 metro (blue line) What can be improved: Stairs, no elevator and we landed at floor 3... Counter personnel, the gentleman that helped us check in was kind and informative. But then another lady was at the counter and she does need some extra energy to provide details and support. Breakfast: came with the room, however is limited and cold.

Wonderful! Modern rooms with big windows and a hot shower. Comfortable bed. Karla at the front desk was SO helpful and made our trip much easier! We will definitely return next time we are in CDMX.

*Hot water is only available in the morning, not in the evening. So when you return the hotel after your day trip in the city you have to take a shower with cold water which I did for 3 days. *It's an extremely noisy hotel. Max. you can sleep until 6 am !! *Breakfast is very very poor. Worse than a typical hostel. Only coffee, scramble egg and some fruit. I don't recommend the hotel so I wont stay again.
