Incredibly delicious!!! We loved our burgers, and we highly recommend this place. I had the mac and cheese burger, which isn't something I would typically order, but it was amazing! The flavors worked so well together. My husband loved his pulled pork burger. The buns were great and nicely toasted. I'm still thinking about those burgers! Employees were very friendly.

Sorry. This wasn’t it. It made us feel so sick. The Mac n cheese burger had a weird texture. The fries were like in n out fries but worse. We were disappointed because of all the good reviews! So I hate to leave a negative review but our experience here wasn’t great.

We were told this was one of the best burgers in the United States and they did not disappoint!! The pulled pork burger was one of the best you can ever have. Smothered in cream cheese and jalapeño and bbq sauce. I would love to ever have anyone say they have tried anything better!

If you're cruising through southern Utah and craving something real, skip the chains and pull over for this roadside masterpiece. Capital Burger isn’t just a meal—it’s a memory.

So so good. I’m glad it is 3 hours away from home or I would be there all the time. Ordered the pastrami and mushroom blue burger + order of fries. The burgers are huge so if there are two of you….share a fry. One order is enough. Good, not great fries. I’m not sure how they get these burgers so juicy. It’s amazing. Incredible taste. Very fresh. Very messy so ask for extra napkins. Both burgers were scrumptious. The mushrooms were very flavorful and the onions and blue cheese were just the right amount of tang. The pastrami burger really was a monster. Tons of pastrami, a big patty and a lot of juicy/tangy slaw. I’ve never had it this way and it was uniquely awesome. The staff was helpful and friendly and I just can’t recommend this place enough. The perfect post hike meal.

You can get any burger as a lettuce wrap. It's not celiac friendly, but I have a gluten sensitivity and so glad I got to enjoy their burgers!!

Absolutely phenomenal. Really wished the Canadian dollar was stronger so we could buy more burgers— left with four costing just about $20CAD a pop. Worth every bite though. Especially the BBQ burger— it was a barbeque explosion in our mouths! The mushroom burger was an absolute riot too. Will be back if we get a chance!!! The staff were also super friendly and kind :) Service was also quick as a whip!

Absolutely the place to eat for juicy burgers. You'll want to check with Facebook or locals as to where they are going to be from day to day, and their hours. My favorite is the burger that has blue cheese. My husband always gets the mushroom bacon burger. That's his staple meal there. Fries... ok ... but the burgers are what shine. If you're interested in trying new things they have a Mac and Cheese burger people swear by. I like my Mac she cheese by itself, so I've passed. They also offer a veggie burger. People that visit our @circlecliffranchalpacas experiences plan their booking times around when Capitol Burgers are open. Our guests tell me that again and again. Sorry, no pictures. My tummy couldn't wait. You won't regret this place.

The locals told us we had to try this place and of course there was a huge line with lots of locals in it. Service was good and they got the burgers out in a timely fashion which was impressive. My husband tried both the bacon burger and the Mac and cheese. Like other reviewers he didn't care for the mustard flavor in the Mac burger and wished he had gotten two bacon ones instead but it was still fun to try. I've never had Mac and cheese on a burger before. My friends loved their blue cheese burgers and one got the pork before it sold out for the night. My daughter really enjoyed the fries. I do wish they sold bottled water too because only having soda made us dip into the grocery store next door for just water. I'm not a huge burger person (I love fish) so I wasn't overly impressed but I do appreciate that I didn't require any extra sauce because they're generous on the fry sauce! It was a good burger and we took them to go back to our air bnb because we heard they could be messy to eat. I'm glad we tried this place but I do seek out lighter fare on a daily basis.

Easily the BEST food near Capitol Reef! The burgers are mouthwatering and we came back here twice. The only reason I give it 4/5 stars is because the guy at the counter seemed very impatient both times that we were ordering, even though there wasn't anyone behind us. It was a little off-putting. The tables were also sticky & I would have appreciated wipes since your hands will get very messy!

These are some of the juiciest and yummiest burgers I've had in the longest time! The topping combos are creative, the patties tasted fresh, and the service was prompt and friendly. This is a food truck, so be prepared to take your order to go, or look for the picnic tables behind the food truck in the grassy area.

Some interesting flavor combos, but the balance between toppings and burgers is way off. These burgers are more about the toppings than the burger itself. To quote a famous ad campaign, where's the beef? I had the pulled pork burger, and while it was OK it mostly tasted like pork and peppers. My wife got the mushroom blue burger, and it was absolutely drowned it blue cheese dressing to the point of being inedible, which was probably for the best because her burger patty was blood red in the center.

Stopped by for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. I got the cheeseburger, and it was delicious. The bun was sturdy, the fry sauce was generous, and the thinly sliced cucumbers were a nice touch. I also appreciated the good portion of lettuce--nothing skimpy here! The menu is simple and straightforward, making ordering easy. This is a food truck with no seating, but it's perfect for grab-and-go. Service was friendly, and I only had to wait about 10 minutes. Oh and fries were great, nice and crispy.

Excellent burgers where the meat is locally sourced, the brioche bun is grilled to perfection and all the toppings are the ideal ratio. So glad we saw this little food truck and stopped by. Service was awesome too, quick and efficient!

We visited Capitol Burger food truck while it was parked at the Chuckwagon and close to the Wonderland RV Park. The burgers were big, juicy, messy, and delicious. We tried the cheeseburger and the double pastrami burger. Deelish!!

Perhaps the best burger I've had in Utah. I had the mushroom burger and it was to die for! the pastrami Burger was also top shelf. I've been to this food truck couple of times - never disappoints. It's a food truck so if it's there - by all means -- stop. If it's crummy weather, they don't open. If that happens, go to slackers down the road. Service is quick and it's rare to get a gourmet burger in a small town like this. This is truly the best burgers around. Food trucks are fun and all - but the quality of these burgers means it would be great if they had an actual permanent establishment. I vote get a brick and mortar place!

The burgers we enjoyed were delicious. The owner was a chef at some expensive restaurants and decided to buy a food truck and specialize in burgers. He was very courteous and the food was prepared quickly. He closed the food truck for the season and I am sure he had many repeat customers who will be back next year.

We had a great experience at Capitol Burger. We both liked the classic bacon cheese burger the best, but the Mac & cheese was a fun variation (we just didn't love the green chilies and mustard). Fries were good. I appreciated the fry sauce! It's not on the menu but we also ordered a side of Mac n Cheese for my 2 year old which worked out great. Tables and a grassy area made for a great space to get wiggles out too.

Had the mac & cheese with bacon burger. Max & cheese was flavorful. Bacon was crispy to perfection. The rolls were top notch! Held this master piece together. Also got the mushroom & blue cheese burger, another master piece. Very flavorful. Both burgers were stuffed. Service was great. Long line (always a good sign.) they kept things moving.

Wow! We went here after a recommendation from someone we met at capitol reed national park. This is a food truck that is sooo good. The burgers were so filling and scrumptious. Food trucks are the best, this one was busy and had quick service

Stopped by on the way back to Salt Lake. The guys were super friendly and my wife and I agreed this is one of the best burgers we have ever had. The grilling of the burger was perfect and the cheese was so melty and creamy. Not sure what cheese you are using but damn it's amazing. Wish I didn't have to drive 3 hours to get here. Definitely try them if you are in town. Wow.

Spent a week at Capitol reef. Ate lunch twice at Capital Burger food truck. Both times were outstanding. Super friendly guys in the truck. Asked us where we were from, asked for recommendations to where they should eat if they were in our area. Torrey is a small town, but I'm not familiar with the area. I called the phone number. I found online, left a message asking where they would be parked that day and within 15 minutes I got a phone call back they gave me the address of where they would be. Absolutely going back there if we're in the area again .

I find myself to be a connoisseur of burgers, and I kid you not, this was the greatest burger I have ever had in my entire life. I have never in my life ate something which made me want to leave a review, but this burger was magical. I dreamed about the Mac N Cheese burger later in the night. I woke up thinking about this burger. If I didn't live across the entire country, I would eat Capitol Burger until they banned me for ordering too often. Please do yourself a favor and try this for yourself. Also, the fries were reminiscent of McDonald's style french fries and were just as delicious.

The Best Burgers in the Valley! We get so excited when they're in town! I love the Mac & Cheese burger I switch the Aoli to their cream cheese spread and it's so amazing. The fries are good too and the service is always great!! Awesome flavor, fresh toppings/ingredients and just all around the best burgers & fries, you'll be super satisfied!

I think the burgers were very solid, but I wouldn't rate this as a 5 star experience. First, the wait. We waited 50 minutes just for burgers, which was pretty outrageous, but we were amazed how patient everyone was to wait that long. Second, we got here a little bit after 7pm when they announced they were out of fries, which was really shocking to me because they opened at 5pm. But luckily, after waiting 50 minutes and a little bit before our order came out, they then announced that they had, in fact, restocked on fries. They gave them to us for free, so because they owned their mistake, I didn't take a star away. As for the food, the burgers were very filling that it justifies their price. I got the Mac and cheeseburger. The patties weren't too dry, and the Mac and cheese inside wasn't too cheesy. I really liked how buttery the brioche buns were.

Found this gem on our roadtrip in Utah. It's always these type of small places that pack the punch on a solid meal. Rated 11th in the nation for burgers (at the time of our visit), & I completely see why. Active days call for enjoying a delicious meal. Burger spot with the best reviews in town...yep I see why!

These burgers are very, very good! And the fries were cooked perfectly. The cheeseburger was loaded, including very fresh ingredients. The bacon cheeseburger was fantastic as well. We wish we could stay another night in Torrey to have more burgers!

Actually one of the best burgers I've gotten in my life. I got the blue cheese burger with impossible patty. Shoutout to them for the vegetarian options. Not only was the service great but it was fast as well. Definitely worth stopping by if you want a delicious burger.

My mom and I while on a cross country road trip found this little place on Apple Maps and only had a few minutes to spare so we decided to call their phone number and what we could only assume was one of the owners (Luke) answered while also being a parent and took the time to answer our call and inform us they should have what we wanted to order. We arrived and got our food (a Mac n cheese and mushroom blue burger) and we can attest that not only was their service out of this world but so was their burgers! Best burgers ever!!!

If you drive through and only have time for one stop this has to be it. Burger perfection. Amazing service. Perfect stop after a hike in the park, or a break on a drive through town. Between the group we tried all the burgers and not one person wasn't blown away. I had the Mac and cheese burger. The mustard and green chilis added the best flavor. Every bite was everything you want. Also had the fries, and I love a good shoe string, thinner fry so I was all about them. There's a reason these burgers are some of the top in the nation. Go try them for yourself!

Yes, these burgers are just as good as everyone says they are. I got the pastrami burger and added pickles (and if you get this burger, I would say pickles are a must!). The pastrami is thick cut and delicious (definitely not your average thin sliced deli pastrami) and the sauce and slaw complimented it perfectly. I wish I was in town for more than one day because I want try every burger on their menu! I went there for lunch and if I'm hungry later (which I might not be because the burger was huge), I might go there for dinner too!

WOW! 2nd time to Capitol Burger in 2 years. The consistency of the food is spot on. Had the Garlic Burger special and fries, which I got with a warning that it contains 12 full cloves! THE best burger I've ever had since...since...the last time I had a Capitol Burger . Looking forward to getting back next spring

Another year another burger! Again, a bit saucy - my bottom bun got a little soggy around the edges. Maybe I'll ask for the sauce on the side next time. Great flavor on the blue cheese burger! Tender and juicy beef patty. We look forward to coming here every year! The fries are still boring.

Tried 4 burgers all delicious! The fries are okay, so my review is really based on the burgers. It's a good truck, so everything is too go. You name have to do street parking. Drinks are canned from a cooler. Highly recommend, but wish they served better quality fries like wedges, or even other sides like their Mac and cheese or something.

Capital Burger is one of the reasons to go to Capitol Reef. Although the food truck works out of the parking lot of Chuck Wagon, don't pass it by. Everyone of their burgers are amazing. I love their pulled pork burger and their Mac n Cheese burger. The fries are just okay.

One of the best burgers I've ever had... I got the blue cheese burger with mushrooms. My girlfriend got the regular cheese burger. Hit the spot after a long day outdoors hiking.

Food was great. Nice and simple menu. Everything done perfectly. My family all ordered the Mac and Cheese Burger. Wish we would have ordered differently so we could have sampled more. If you're looking for a quick meal while you are visiting Capitol Reef National Park, this is a must.

The best burger I have had in Utah. On our stay in Torrey last year, we came twice and we have been talking about them for a year. We came back to Torrey mostly to have the burgers again. Everything about them is fantastic. My favorite is the pastrami burger but they are all delicious. Service is friendly and eating al fresco in Torrey is a treat.

Dude!!! This was great food. The burgers were fresh and delicious. We got the pulled pork burger and s cheese burger. Plan on eating them out side on the lawn or one of the picnic tables. They're too juicy to eat in the car.

I feel real bad for the groceries we bought for tonight bc after seeing this place on Yelp we were like 'oh hell no chicken and broccoli'. Could these be the best burgers in existence?! 99% of reviews here say yes and my husband and I have to agree. The ratio of everything is sublime. Big shoutout though to the stack of crispy lettuce that gives this godly thing the freshest hit. Everything on this burger is 10/10 though. Crazy that this thing came from a food truck in a tiny town in Utah. It could be served somewhere in Manhattan or Silverlake and still take best burger ever. This thing is Shark Tank investible fr.

A great burger spot in a small town like Torrey. I would definitely go here is you are a burger fan. Got the pulled pork and it was seasoned well and was very good. I would definitely go again and recommend the same.

I typically don't have high expectations for restaurants in small towns, but this spot blew me away. My husband and I shared: - Mac N Cheese Burger - Mushroom Blue Burger - Fries I think these are the best burgers I've ever had. My personal preference was the Mushroom Blue Burger, but both were fantastic. The fries are great too. They're usually somewhere near their location on Yelp/Google Maps, but check their Facebook for where they'll be that day. My only regret is not getting another burger. You need to go here if you're visiting Capitol Reef.

Cool food truck w a simple mission, amazing burgers. We ordered cheese burger and Mac and cheese burger. Both were great. Mac and cheese burger came w bacon and Dijon mustard. Great mix of bold flavors. Cheese burger is solid. Staff was also super friendly. Greeted most like old friends. Hearty welcome to tourist like ourselves.

Oh my god these burgers are so good and I'm not just saying that because I fasted all day and hiked 8 miles. It's because these burgers are--genuinely--that damn good. It makes no sense to me how a food truck this good is in the middle of nowhere Torrey. It could easily compete with some of the best food trucks in any major food city. You gotta get the Mushroom Blue Burger, Mac N Cheese Burger, and the Fries. They were all AMAZING. If they didn't close between 230 and 5, I would go back for another burger right now.

The best Burger I've tasted in the US! Their burger sauce is very unique and the quality of their meat is next to none. We ate there before leaving Capitol reef and we were glad of the amazing experience so we took home more burgers. It was still awesome when we ate it the following day. I hope they would have one franchise here in Vegas

Got the Mac n cheese burger, blue cheese, and pastrami burger. Can't go wrong with any. All I'll say is, we're fat and happy now

We passed through Torrey for one night and had Capitol Burger for dinner. Amazing burgers & fries, the whole family enjoyed it!

The food truck was parked at the Chuckwagon. We grabbed some burgers and fries to take back to our hotel for dinner. The burgers were great! The fries were fine, but these guys focus on the burgers! The crew running the food truck were friendly. The group in front of us thought the prices were high for burgers. Possible, but the burgers were big and very tasty!

After a couple days of fishing on Boulder Mountain a good burger sounded great. These guys didn't disappoint, don't know who owns this little gem but it was one of the best bacon cheese burgers I have ever had. If you are in the mood for a burger anywhere in the Capitol Reef area don't bother with anyplace else if these guys are open. Some food trucks are absolutely amazing and this is one of them. I agree with all the stellar reviews on Yelp. Capitol Burger is legit! Capitol Burger is a food truck usually parked by Austin's Chuckwagon Market off 12 West Main Street. Their burgers are fresh. Their ingredients are locally sourced. Capitol Burger has a list of burgers to choose from ranging from a basic cheese burger, a pork burger, a pastrami burger, and a mac n cheese burger. I kept my burger simple and had a double bacon cheeseburger minus the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Of course, I kept the fry sauce in it. I was hooked after just one bite and could honestly say that Capitol Burger was one of our highlights of our visit to Capitol Reef National Park. My only regret was that I didn't get an extra burger for the road. Prices per burger ranges from $6.99 to $10.99. Extra patty is only $2.75. Make it a combo for $2.99 more. If you're not a carnivore like me, Capitol Burger also has an Impossible Burger. By the way, I love what it says on the back of their shirts..."we are not Slackers". I get it and if you live here or been here, you would get it too. Peace!

We were on our way in to Capitol Reef National Park, and after a long day of driving, we were hoping for something cool and local (aka not McDonald's or Taco Bell) but still good with the kids. We found this spot on Yelp among the other spots in Torrie, and we definitely made the right choice. The burgers were on point and the slaw was awesome. The service was great, too, considering they're a food truck. They helped us amend a couple of our orders to work with kid-pickiness. All around good food and a good experience in a cool little town.
