Capitol Restaurant is a true gem in the heart of Bern. From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The food was outstanding! The meatball flatbread with orzo was absolutely divine, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of rich, satisfying taste. Service was top notch. Attentive, friendly, and professional without being overbearing. We opted to sit at one of the outside tables, which turned out to be the perfect spot for people watching and soaking in the vibrant city vibe. Capitol effortlessly combines exceptional cuisine with a relaxed, charming ambiance. Highly recommended!

This place is full of joy. Food, drinks, staffs, the best experience in Bern. Food was served very fast, and the staff named Tessa was very helpful with ordering food and drinks. Highly recommended for those of u who want to chill with nice tapas and fancy cocktails! Thank you Capitol Restaurant and Special thanks to Tessa!!!

Found this restaurant and bar by chance and what an amazing surprise! Fun, lively atmosphere with some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a long time, prepared with homemade ingredients. Very kind, helpful staff that really know what they are doing. Joy was great! Their chef is from London and really created such a wonderful culinary experience. Really recommend checking this place out!

I have to admit I checked the comments on Google maps about this restaurant and decided to come. The food definitely can surprise you with amazing taste and cute look! We ordered the cheese burger, beef nuggets and waffle with fried chicken and egg, with the recommendation of salad from the restaurant. I have to say my taste buds are very satisfied 😋 The music is great! As “half Italian”, the espresso tastes also great 😊

Great find. Great staff. We ate plates separate, but they are inventive so meet needs of differing cultures. Menu varied to, all 3 of our dishes perfectly prepared. Chef also brewed a great beer that's on the menu. I'd go back.
