"Forsythia is slated to open August 24 at 233 Chestnut Street. Capofitto, a pizza and gelato destination, was part of the Capogiro group, which closed all locations late last year." - Rachel Vigoda

"Channeling Venetian summers, this Old City gelateria and pizzeria riffs on the sgroppino — an Italian drink made with sorbet and prosecco — with seasonal variations that include gin with mint and cucumber and bourbon paired with icy blood orange sorbetto. $14" - Caroline Coral

The good - the gelato was great, our server was very nice and attentive. The not so good - for the money, pizza was small and very average. Super thin and toppings kept falling off, not worth the money. Also, most of the restaurant staff moved about in a frenzied pace which doesn't make for a relaxing experience. Our table was basically almost inside the kitchen (shouldn't be there), so we got up close and personal with what was going on between the manager and staff. I don't really see this place as a good value for what you're getting.

Capo Giro gelati up front. Gapo Giro pizza in the back. Wood fired and domed brick oven like I first encountered in Napoli. The 900 degree oven bakes the pie in minutes. They use high quality ingredients and make their own pizza dough. It all bakes into one tasty pie. Artisanal quality. Fair price.

Great tasting and nice location. Wish there were more selections and larger portions considering the higher end prices. It's a good place for quick gelato but wouldn't call it a must visit.

Excellent fig salad. With hazelnuts. Pizza is very good too. One of the better ones in this side of the Atlantic.

Delicious gelato! They have so many different choices, all of them flavorful. The cashier had no problem letting us sample multiple flavors. They have a full bar and serve pizza. Would love to come back to try those during happy hour.

Cozy, intimate space with quick and charismatic service. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a long wine list and a range of beer options. The pizza is spectacular, the fried potatoes are now one of my favorites and the gelato is phenomenal. Great place.
