Round Two at Capones. We had to bring some of our Italian friends this time, I was hoping that the food would be as good as last time and sure enough… I was impressed again. Every dish that Capones creates has that Sicilian flair, that old deep, Italian taste that makes you feel at home. The food is so good; our son even digs in- he calls this place “the fancy restaurant.” The atmosphere is fun, older class of guests. The restaurant is small and dinner takes about two hours on average but; that’s typical for Italians. There is a good selection of wine, the desserts are top-notch and the service fantastic. We will be coming here again for a time as soon as we are in the area again.

I often go here when wanting a great dining experience. This last visit was no different. Well worth the trip. Pricing is decent as well. Grab a seat at the outdoor dining patio. It's breezy and very nice. They have warmers in the winter too.

Great place!! I loved the ravioli fichi! Very warm and inviting atmosphere with attentive servers. Can't wait to come back

This establishment offers the most delectable dishes in comparison to other authentic Italian restaurants I have had the pleasure of visiting. The Pollo Marsala and Vitello Marsala were exceptionally delightful. The chicken breast was seasoned to perfection and melted in my mouth. The calamari fritti was incredibly fresh and delicious, so much so that my toddler devoured the entire dish. The service provided was both prompt and courteous. It was a thoughtful gesture on the part of the owner to personally check on the guests to ensure their satisfaction.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! I stumbled across this place via Google and decided to book a reservation for a couples date night. I was not disappointed and I will definitely be going back. My entire group decided we would be returning before we even received the main course! The service, atmosphere, and the cocktails were that good that we were absolutely convinced before we even had a bite of food. We were repeatedly checked on and insured that we had the absolute most satisfaction in every aspect of our experience. We ordered an espresso martini, a chocolate martini, & we got the crispy artichoke for an appetizer, and all were superb! For entrées, we ordered one of their farfalle dishes, the linguine frutti di mare, the lasagna, and the chicken Parmesan! All were five stars! For dessert, we ordered the cannoli, the tiramisu, and their banana zebra cake! It was so good that we ended up placing it to go order! This is definitely going on our list of favorite places to dine and will definitely be returning for a date night sometime soon! Thank you, Capones for exceeding every expectation we could ever have!

I loved this place! Once I go back to California to visit the best waiter Emilio who’s my uncle I’ll definitely order different items. It was my birthday and I had turned 20, I forgot to post a review when I came back to NYC but the staff was extremely attentive and the food was mouthwatering. for starters we had a margarita pizza and calamar, and I had a special which was the potato gnocchi. We enjoyed our stay. Capone’s is definitely New Yorker approved.

We hit up Capone's after spending a month in Italy, so we had pretty high hopes. Honestly, it blew our expectations out of the water! The food is about as authentic as you can get for Italian food in Orange County. Every dish we tried was amazing! The steak was so delicious, definitely better than any steakhouse I've been to in SoCal (and trust me, I’ve been to a ton, from Outback to Longhorn to Ruth's Chris – that says a lot!). My wife Spaghetti al bolognese was very flavourful and had a lot of meat. The calamari are to die for! On top of that, the service was super friendly and quick. The ambiance is cozy and classy. Definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the HB area.

Capone's in Huntington Beach is a fantastic spot! The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a touch of darkness and lots of Italian-themed art that adds to the cozy vibe. The bar is centrally placed right when you walk in, and the bartenders were super friendly. I came by myself and decided to eat at the bar. I had the eggplant Parmigiana and a salad. Both were really good, and the portions were huge. The Parmigiana came with a side of spaghetti, and honestly, either one alone would be enough for one person. Out of all the Italian places in Huntington Beach, this one is my favorite so far. Plus, the old 1940-1950s music of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra playing in the background added a charming touch. If you're looking for a great meal with a welcoming atmosphere, Capone's is the place to be! Also, don't miss their sister restaurant, Black Trumpet. It has a similar vibe but focuses on tapas food. It’s another great spot with the same warm ambiance.

Yelp
Our family had the pleasure of dining at Capones Italian Cucina. As an Italian and a self-proclaimed, food snob I was very impressed. The service was really good, waitress was very attentive. All of the dishes were hard to choose from.... However, we chose the ravioli and my husband, the sea bass. Incredible food absolutely delicious. Really on point. We had two appetizers two bottles of wine, two desserts, three courses, and it was about 300. I will be coming back here. Impressed. Note: The presentation on the lemon ricotta cheesecake needed work. Also, there was way too much powdered sugar to make the dish look pretty let the food speak for itself. Stop trying to drown it out in decorations. This is the same for the pistachio cheesecake as well.

Yelp
Capones for the win, this place was wonderful. The Ambience is so cool and inviting along with the service as soon as you walk through the door. Now for the wine and food. We had the most amazing dishes. I order the ribeye with tiger shrimp and mashed potatoes with some Jack Daniel's sauce. Also had the Pappardelle sooooo Bomb. Also had The Godfather drink like no other. I will be back soon Th

Yelp
Amazing family run restaurant where they treat everyone like family! I ate at the bar on a Saturday night. The bartender made me a wonderful old fashioned with a house recommended bourbon. Perfectly balanced. Started with the house made focaccia - so fluffy and delicious with hint of rosemary. I had the house side salad- the dressing knocked me off my feet!! Italian with a kick of garlic- wonderful! I had the braised short rib ravioli with rosemary mushroom brown sauce. Very meaty and delicious! Great service and food- highly recommended!!

Yelp
HB staple for classic Italian food. Everything was great and service was even better. Highly recommend making a reservation as it can get busy!

Yelp
I'm always on the look out for some good Italian food / pasta I was in the area and I frequent the place next door. I gave into peer pressure and decided to have a cheat day. This place is located in a little shopping plaza with free parking (and plenty of it) I came here at lunch and most of the people were eating outside on their spacious outdoor seating area. I decided to dine indoors and was sat immediately. This is your typical nice Italian restaurant atmosphere. Nothing too fancy but still great place to come for a special occasion The nice guy who sat us down also brought us out some bread while we waited for our waitress to take our order. She was extremely fast and helpful. We ordered the penne vodka and the tortellini Veneto. The pasta came out extremely fast, And was delicious. I love my pasta with tons of sauce and they gave plenty of it. The sauces were perfect and tasted fresh and homemade. I also have to comment how nicely it came out. It was topped with beautiful garish and flowers. The only thing I regret is not coming here with a bigger appetite. They offer a great menu with lots of options. They had a few appetizers and pizza that I'll have to come back for. The waitress even brought out the dessert tray and everything on it looked delicious They also have a sign outside showing all their specials during the week, a nice bar to sit at and they take reservations which can come in handy during prime time hours Overall I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. Come try out your future favorite family owned local Italian restaurant

Yelp
WhereTF have I been strikes again (x2)! It was one of my boy's turn to pay for lunch after golf, so he suggested a place I have not been to: Shame on me for not coming sooner! Capones is on Beach in HB, next door to L & L Hawaiian. Whats nice about Capones is they have all the Italian favorites. However, they also offer real Italian dishes like carciofi (fried artichoke hearts), a true Roman dish. In addition, they will let you substitute veggies for pasta. Perfect for people like me who follow a low glycemic diet. The carciofi was eccelente, and a great representation of a true Roman dish. I can't wait to return to have this app again. Secondarily, my eggplant parmigiana hit the spot, esp bc I was able to substitute veggies for pasta as my side. Lastly, the desserts are to die for here, and the coconut cake caught my eye. It was a great way to end the meal. My golf buddies had a couple of the specials, pork chops w/ mashed potatoes & asparagus, and fish w/ veggies. They really liked their entrees. Regarding the ambiance, its spacious in here, but also homey. You can sit inside or out, as well as at the U-shaped bar. Wed is 1/2 off wine day, and after polishing off two bottles w/ no corkage, we had a nice bottle of chianti to finish. Our waitress Rachel was super nice and friendly. Her sidekick José was also super nice and attentive. Lastly, the owner Dino stopped by to say hello also. I enjoy places where you feel at home. Capones is my new go to Italian nearby. They serve authentic Italian dishes in a very comfortable environment. I can't wait to return!

Cristine O.

Yelp
I'm surprised I haven't written a review for Capones yet. We have been going here for years and it's one of our favorites. The service there is top notch and the food is amazing. I love their farfalle o' sole mio pasta. It comes chicken in this creamy Marsala sauce and is one of the chef's specialties for good reason. For desserts, they bring out the options on a tray and explain everything they have. I love this and always save room for dessert here because of this. You can tell the owner really cares about his business and is usually always walking around checking on his guests when we're there. It's the small touches that make this place perfect to celebrate a special occasion or just a night out!

Yelp
Amazing service food and ambiance! Excellent recommendation and will be back! local LQ

Yelp
Delicious Food with a Minor Hiccup I recently dined at Capone's Italian and had a generally great experience. As an Italian food lover, I was thrilled with the meatless raviolis, which were creamy and delicious. However, I did find a piece of hair under the last ravioli, which was disappointing. Despite this, the service was spectacular. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the dining experience enjoyable. Overall, I had a good time and would recommend Capone's for its delicious food and excellent service, even with the small issue I encountered.

Yelp
July 5th 2024 Love this restaurant so much! The food and service is always excellent! And I love the vibe in this place ... low lighting and the artwork make it a beautiful date night.

Stephan T.

Yelp
Their high standards are on display the entire time you dine with them. I'd been to Capones twice before, the food was great and the service friendly and professional. For the first time, tonight, I went for a dinner date rather than our large group and I had an even better experience. Sitting outside and catching up with friends over a nice meal is one thing, but tucked away in a cozy corner you really notice how much care is put into this place. The staff are knowledgeable, their timing impeccable, their presentation and etiquette a heartfelt reminder of what great service is actually like. I've worked at and been to many Italian restaurants, they can put on a red tie and black suits, a fancy table cloth, and even have great family recipes. Capones does it all, but not because its a costume to attract guests. How was everyone dressed so sharp, without a spot of marinara on their clothes? How did my waitress refill my glass of water (I drank seven in 45 minutes) moments after it emptied every single time? Even the expediter, who I suspect must be the owner or head chef, really took the time to look at our food and check on us at our table without announcing who he was and how great it was of him to stop by and be given thanks for having his name on the menu. All around, they do more than just a great job. How they've found people who care for their work as much as they do can only mean one thing, theres something special here beyond appearances.

Marie W.

Yelp
Love this cozy restaurant. Love the vibes. Everyone is super friendly and of course the food is always AMAZING. We had an awesome server, Sunny. Tonight we had two of their specials, the Chilean Seabass, very flaky and flavorful, and the Rigatoni with Gorgonzola sauce, pears and walnuts, these were my top choices created by Chef Dino.

Emily L.

Yelp
We had the most best experience at Capones. Emilio was the best waiter we ever had. He was very patient and helpful with our table. Making sure everyone was happy. Will definitely come back!

Kimmy M.

Yelp
This cute Italian sit down restaurant is a staple for dinner when visiting Huntington Beach. Its dark and sexy interior makes it a great date place. Pasta, risotto, truffle fries and vegetable appetizer were great. Lasagna is always a good choice. We all bought a dessert but for $14 each they were a huge let down. Honestly, for $5 each they would have been a let down. Citrus pie has very little citrus flavor and was tough. Panna cotta had too much sugar, raspberry chocolate cheesecake didn't even taste like cheesecake, chocolate or raspberry and the apple pie had more of a cinnamon taste than an apple taste, but it was so dry even the cinnamon couldn't save it. I'd go for dinner again but skip dessert and go someplace else. Also, three of us asked for water and sue brought us two bottles of Panna for $16 instead of regular tap water, which we didn't appreciate the extra charge on that. Be careful.

Kent V.

Yelp
Amanda was our server last night and she was great. Make reservations as this place can get packed on weekends. Most of their cocktails are $15. Reasonably priced. The bruschetta appetizer is delicious. Enough for 2-3 people to share. I opted for the risotto with chicken, spinach, and mushrooms and it was good. Large portion too! Mom had their eggplant parmesan and liked it as well. Ask to see their dessert tray as they have an assortment to choose from. We picked the chocolate banana cake and it taste great. Overall, this restaurant has a great ambiance and is always a good choice for dinner. Family-owned business in Huntington so go and support them!

Elaria W.

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal! We got a giftcard a while back, and finally had the opportunity to check this place out. Service is A+, Sunny took care of us and he was amazing. The food....wow. I got the browned butter ravioli and my boyfriend got the salmon pasta special for the night. I would get both again in a heartbeat. The ravioli was so savory and cheesy, and that nutty browness, while the salmon dish was bright and citrus with a great piece of fish. We got the Carpaccio and Shrimp appetizers- mm mmm. The banana cake dessert wasn't my favorite to be honest, but the cannoli was delicious! The ambience was date-y, but in a more loud and fun way vs sensual and intimate. I forget what 2 cocktails we got, but also great. One was Mezcal based and the other an Old Fashioned type thing. I would recommend both!

Simon K.

Yelp
Tried some more dishes. Here's the overview so far... - Excellent --- Bruschetta (light crunchy bread, flavorful topping) --- Gnocchi (half Gorgonzola Cream, half Pomodoro, add sliced sausage) --- Pappardelle (Marsala Cream, mushrooms, sliced sausage) --- Chicken Marsala (Marsala Cream, mushrooms, side plain pasta) --- Rack of lamb --- Free Focaccia bread (oil and balsamic or parmesan) --- Free corkage on Wednesdays - Good --- Caesar salad (nice light croutons) --- Capone's Pizza (too crispy) --- Linguini Fruitti De Mare - Average --- Insalata Caprese (cheese could be better) --- Calamari --- Pasta of the day with Pink Sauce (flavorless, not enough cream) - Meh --- Risotto Salsiccia E Porcini (flavorless) --- Veal Marsala (tough) --- Tiramisu (flavorless) --- Butter Cake (dry)

Yelp
Had an amazing birthday dinner. Enjoyed their service food and ambient. Highly recommend

Ken C.

Yelp
Excellent Italian fare This placed was packed on a sat night. Highly recommend making a reservation. Their bread is crusty, buttery, and fresh. Their pasta is top notch. The frutti de mari was packed with seafood and al dente. Their farfalle was well done tho the sauce was a tad too sweet for my taste. Finished things off with a tiramisu.

Edlin M.

Yelp
Amazing food, cocktails and service. Definitely recommend. The pizza crust was top notch, the bruschetta was on point and the pasta tasted fresh. We sat in the patio because we had our dog and the patio was just as nice as the inside. Great experience.

Hannah W.

Yelp
I had a really great experience here on a date with our waitress Kriss (we even called the restaurant to make sure we got her name correct). She was so incredibly welcoming, offered fantastic options, and really made our experience. All of the staff was quick and attentive, very rare in a restaurant now a days. The food was great as well- we can't wait to go back in the future! Thank you Kriss for a great evening.

Sara B.

Yelp
This is some of the best Italian food I've ever had. We made reservations in advance so we didn't have to wait. The ambiance is dark with low lighting and Italian decor. The service was 5 star. The waitress had great recommendations for wine and food. We started with a bottle of Italian wine and some complimentary bread. I then ordered the capellini Fresca and it was amazing. We were with a party of 4 and everyone loved their food. This place is a little pricy but it's worth it. I will be coming back and soon!

Stanley R.

Yelp
I have been hearing about Capone's Italian for years. I decided to take my regular Wednesday lunch companion here, even though it IS pretty pricy for a couple of retired fellows. The waitress was very helpful and rather sassy, we liked that! She said that the restaurant has been there for over 30 years. The interior has that well-loved feel, the bar is dark and cozy. The patio is bright and happy. I ordered the "Spaghetti al Greciea. It was Kalamata olives, figs, bacon and feta, so Delicious! My friend ordered the Short rib ravioli. He inhaled it raving the whole time! The bread was warm and delicious. There were at least 4 other things on the menu that surprised and delighted us. I don't mean to be a snob but it was worth every penny!

Yelp
Service outstanding food delicious one of my favorite restaurants Reminds me of New York restaurants Busy. A bit noisy and festive!!

Bryan C.

Yelp
This restaurant is truly a joy to eat at. So many amazing servers and hosts serving so many beyond delicious courses it's hard to imagine another place that can even meet the benchmarks it has set... Shout out to Merlin, Dino, Sunny, Rachael, and Taylor. Thank you for making it truly feel like you appreciate your patrons and how much you enjoy serving us. It's really our pleasure and it feels like a privilege to know you all. Food: Minestrone soup - so many different vegetable varieties all combined with a broth that's to die for. Recently a special - Beef Wellington something new I've never had was sort of a filet mignon wrapped with a croissant buttery tasting pastry with a medley of vegetables has become my new craving. Check with the restaurant if they have this special if you'd like to try it. Seafood Cioppino continues to be my all time favorite, bowl of shellfish seafood in savory tomato base soup that you can't go wrong with... the table side bread is fresh made each day cooks to perfect crispy texture moist and soft on the inside. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant and repeated visits to try everything on the menu!!

Dorothy C.

Yelp
Our friend Sunny came to work here a while back and he's the best server anywhere. He knows everything about the menus, takes care of all his guests, and is like a machine on nonstop overdrive. Ambiance: Dark and relaxed. Refined but not fufu fancy. Food: Spectacular. Everything is unique and amazing from the sauces and pastas to the Ciopinno. They always have various specials and everything is fresh. I'm particularly fond of the pastas and the short rib with gnocchi whenever they have it. The lasagna is also a good staple. We always get the minestrone soup which is very chunky and flavorful and we eat way too much bread each time. The table bread is baked fresh and if you get the focaccia it's over. Take the rest to go. The dessert tray is mind boggling with its choice variety. There's a magical dessert chef that makes these little works of art that are as tasty as they are beautiful. I think the chocolate mousse was our favorite although the chocolate banana cake was really good too. Service: Top notch. Everyone is very friendly and courteous. You can never go wrong with Sunny but mind you he can be a bit eccentric.

Yelp
Capones is one of our favorite restaurants, particularly when we're desiring Italian food. The ambiance is the ideal combination of rustic appeal and contemporary elegance. It creates an inviting and cozy environment, ideal for intimate dinners and lively gatherings. But the menu is where the true magic resides. The dishes are divine, and the Cioppino Dino is our favorite dish. We have not been disappointed with any of our meals and have experienced a number of their specials without being let down. Noting that they may not have a kid's menu, they do offer pasta dishes with reduced portions and lower prices for our kids. The servers are attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that your water glass is never empty and that every request is promptly fulfilled. Their enthusiasm for the cuisine is evident in the manner in which they characterize each dish, elaborating on the ingredients and methods of preparation to enhance the overall dining experience.

Lisa P.

Yelp
We were in the mood for Italian by the beach. Not many choices and the options near water served mostly pizzas with limited pasta options or didn't open until after 4pm. So we found Capone's and decided to try it out based on menu options. We enjoyed the outdoor patio. It was quiet and relaxing. They did a good job with the space they had. The food was excellent! We shared the insalata di Pera, Dino pizza and penne alla vodka with sausage pasta dish. The portion size was good for the price. We also had some cocktails. I tried the Godfather, great flavor! Not really the beach atmosphere we were searching for but we made due and found a fabulous Italian restaurant we'd love to enjoy again!

Christian U.

Yelp
Capone's Italian Cucina is located in central Huntington Beach. The restaurant is located in a fairly large shopping center so parking should not be an issue The ambiance is very romantic and the lighting in the area gives you a great opportunity for some great photos ! The service was top notch considering this was my wife's and mine first time eating there ! The food, unfortunately fell very flat for the both of us ! It was suppose to be the chefs special for the day and both dishes were lacking seasoning which was ver disappointing. The desert was the star of the show which was flavorful! Overall the experience could have been better

Mario C.

Yelp
You're my favorite! Not really! Unfortunately, these are words you'll hear from the gregarious bartender, José. Well, it's all fun and games until someone's feelings get hurt. In any event, he does make the best Old Fashion drinks in Huntington Beach and beyond. I would recommend sitting at the bar and enjoying all the banter between Jos! and his loyal customers. I'm sure many of the frequent flyers come in especially to shoot the breeze at the bar. Moving on to the nitty gritty, the food is excellent, very richly flavored and the menu has many excellent choices that hit the comfort food spot. They do have your typical Italian plates exquisitely prepared per Dino, the owner and master chef of the restaurant. I have personally ordered many of their pasta plates, pizzas, soups, and meat dishes and I'm still to be disappointed. Desserts are always great although I'm not a huge fan of having dessert after a rich meal. Just give me some more of those Old Fashions handcrafted by none other than the star bartender, Mr. Jos!! Now the ambiance is completely laid back so you don't have to dress to the nines. In fact, you can sweep in with your bermudas and sandals in the summer like a proper Huntington Beach resident, if you will. The music selection is sometimes questionable but they've recently updated their background music selection (Thank you! I was tired of the Andrea Bocelli album) This is a great place to celebrate a friend's birthday, a nasty divorce, or a graduation, the options are endless for celebration! For all the aforementioned reasons I had to rate Capone's with a well-deserved 5-star rating! I highly recommend this place when you're in search of a welcoming, relaxed ambiance with rich plate offerings.

Kathleen Y.

Yelp
The food at Capone's is absolutely delicious; however, my friend and I felt rushed through our meal by our server. This put a damper on an otherwise pleasant experience.

Hayley D.

Yelp
One of my HB favorites - the Caesar salad is to die for and their tortellini is unreal! The service is always so great and I love bringing family and friends here!

Brandon F.

Yelp
I made a reservation for valentines day here after seeing great reviews. We didn't wait long as we had a reservation. The service was fabulous and server very attentive. He had great recommendations for what we were asking for. Ambience was amazing food was very tasty. For great Italian food this is place

Staci S.

Yelp
On April 21st,1995,my husband and I had our first date at the long gone Westminster location. We absolutely love everything about the Huntington Beach location. Service, espresso martini, food! We try to go twice a month but we don't live close. This review is long overdue. If you love Italian as much as we do, do yourself a favor, you won't be disappointed!

Veronica S.

Yelp
I truly love this place! It gives all the vibes of high quality fancy dinner dining with the warm heartedness of a small mom and pop restaurant. I always order take out here and they have the best pizza!! Perfect dough and a delicious sauce my go to pizza spot. Today they made my experience an extra special one and helped me get a customized pizza with the number 6 for an anniversary!!

George Y.

Yelp
Top Chef and crew did a great job on this Valentines Day. The pollo piccata was the best in the last few trips. Crème Brûlée was not on the dessert tray, but ask but was delicious. And they even gave the ladies a rose!

Jon W.

Yelp
Went here a few times with some friends. Excellent ambiance and service. Loved the Sinatra and Dino music. The food was hit or miss. The chicken piccata with spaghetti and garlic and olive oil was excellent. The spaghetti grecia was interesting, kinda of a Greek take on pasta grecia. I didn't care for Mama's meatballs, it had an off-putting taste I didn't like. The spaghetti meat sauce was very pedestrian also. I figured this place could do better. I ordered lasagna once and the pasta was overcooked to the point of being mushy. The single best bite of anything I had here was a friend's rib-eye steak. Delicious. The pizza ordered thin crust was tasty and great.

Yelp
My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary last night . This was our first time at Capones but it will not be our last. The services was impeccable from the moment we walked thru the door. I am terrible with names .I wish I could mention each employee by name. They were all so great. The restaurant itself is inviting and relaxing. The decor , the lighting and the music set the stage for delicious food.we started with the bread service, fried artichokes. We moved onto Caesar salad then we split the spinach chicken risotto and Italian sausage ,mushrooms pizza. It was all very good. It was alot of food so we will be having the leftovers tonight and I expect it will taste even better. Because it was our anniversary they brought a us a lovely cannoli plate. My husband is a sweets guy and a cannoli guy and he said they were amazing. Thank Capones for a wonderful evening.

Ana W.

Yelp
Great place the carpaccio and burrata were unbelievable . The pasta was really good too. The service and ambiance were really sweet. We will be back.

Robert M.

Yelp
The food is outstanding and the ambiance is perfect. The dining experience is on par with some of the finest Italian restaurants in NYC.

Camilla S.

Yelp
Decided to come here for lunch after a pedicure and massage next door! So glad i did! A+ Italian at an unbelievable price, and lovely ambiance! I'm all about ambiance and it was like little Italy!! One of the servers, Jose, absolutely made my day with his wonderful attitude! My server Hailey was a sweetheart and such a doll!! Will definitely be back here when I'm back for my monthly massage next door!

(Rating: 1-10) 8.5 - Capones' finely crafted pear martini is superb and complements delectable pasta dishes flawlessly. A definite must-try, and you'll find it hard to stop at just one. - The S's

Yelp
Great tasting Italian food, phenomenal service and upscale yet relaxing ambiance. We had the papardelle and short rib ravioli. Both delicious! A tad over salted in my opinion but great flavors. Short rib filling in the raviolis were awesome. I also highly recommend the espresso martini! The restaurant fills up fast so reservations are a must unless you don't mind starting with drinks while you wait for your table. Or get there within the first hour of opening up for dinner. We were initially seated indoors but there was a very strange and unpleasant smell so we requested to be moved to the outdoor patio. Outdoor patio with the heaters were perfect.

Yelp
We wanted some good Italian food and remembered coming here once before. I don't know why we waited so long to come back, but we will be coming back regularly. The food is delicious, our server Emilio was amazing, and we love the ambiance inside. Outdoor dining is very nice also. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
All Italian restaurants are closed on Monday's except for Capones. That should have been a red flag to leave. Staff was very friendly. As we were being seated I noticed a picture on the wall of Scarface. 2nd red flag He's Cuban not Italian and it bothered me the whole time I was there. The bread they brought out was good. I was surprised by how much each plate was and came with no soup or salad. I ordered an espresso martini with small chunks of ice. My wife ordered a fruity drink and was really salty. I order pasta Chicken Milanese. Chicken looked and tasted like the frozen boneless chicken breast that they sell in bags at Albertsons. It was small and not hand pounded at all like it says on the menu. Red sauce tasted like a can of tomato sauce no flavor. My wife ordered spaghetti and meatballs and I'm pretty sure they use the same sauce for all there pastas. Desserts were the weirdest choices and after the meal we couldn't finish, there was no way I was going to waste anymore money on their food. This place is over priced. Real Italian restaurants are closed on mondays. I'll stick to Romano Cucina in sunset beach. Every plate is delicious.

Yelp
If you are in HB and want authentic Italian food, this is your place. Staff is amazing and create such a fun ambiance. Owner/Manager is Italian and I spoke to him in Italian when he came to our table. So fun. Food is amazing! My wife loves the gnocchi and I typically try something new each time. A good amount of seating and a bar. Lights are dimmed inside and there is also covered seating outside that is very comfortable.
