9 Essential Culinary Experiences in Sicily's Capital City
"An artisanal gelateria showcasing flavors that reflect Sicily’s abundance—think Bronte pistachio, fresh fig, and jasmine flower—perfect for enjoying while strolling through the evening-cooled streets." - Regan Stephens
"Playing a little game called: “who makes the best gelato?” is inevitably going to be a part of your trip to Sicily. And much as we’d like to recommend you embark on a mission to try them all, we can save you the hassle of tracking down a bottle of Lactaid: Cappadonia Gelati is the winner. They serve up artisan gelato in cups, cones, or the classic Sicilian-style brioche bun, plus seasonal sorbets like kiwi, pomegranate, artichoke, and melon. Eat yours on the go as you head out to discover the nearby gems of the city, like the Cathedral and Mercato di Ballarò." - linda sarris

Exceptional ice cream. Clearly the best in Italy as Lonely Planet seems to point out you can taste the quality of ingredients as you put it in your mouth. Straciatella is my favorite and I highly recommend recommended here. As you can see, I was here every day.😊

When we went there was just one older man working, he was so friendly to tourists and worked fast when it was busy. Absolutely incredible gelato and ice cream! 12/10 recommend!

Some of the best gelato I have ever tasted. We had pistachio and a flavour that tasted like chocolate hazelnut. We chose the brioche option. The brioche was soft and fluffy and not too sweet which paired perfectly with the ice cream. Highly recommend.

Decent ice cream, but I somehow expected a bit more. Very friendly service and some seating outside on the walking street for a brief stop. You can get 2 flavors also in the baby cup.

The ice cream was very good and had lots of flavor. The prices aren't too high (3.50€ for the big cup). The staff were very friendly and joking with us. The size of the scoops are good compared to other gelato shops. The place is very clean. It is on one of the biggest streets in Palermo so it's very visible.

I normally loved pistachio so maybe I didn't like the other flavors I got. Cz they were run out of pistachio even though it was early in the morning. Maybe it's too famous that's why. But I'm still happy with what I got. The staffs are really nice and friendly.

It was my first time trying this kind of dessert. I was really impressed! The pistachio ice cream was amazing as well as the straciatella flavour. It all went really well with each other. I’d come here again! Recommended 👍🏼 5/5 ⭐️🤩
