I had the linguine with clams. It was delicious! My only suggestion would be to have some of the clams not in the shells. I always expect to deshell several, but not all. The wait staff was friendly, pleasant, and attentive. It had a mom & pop restaurant feel. Also a thank you to the staff member who walked me to my car since it was dark when I left.

If you even edible “Italian” food, just go up the road to Olive Garden. This place truly sucked. You enter the building and it’s extremely dark. You’re in a large dining room with out of date seating. Our waitress was rude and not enthusiastic in any way. I got the shrimp scampi and it was the worst $26 I’ve spent while being down here. The noodles tasted super watery like they had been left in a pot all day. The shrimp had no flavor. There was hardly any sauce in the dish. Which is a shame because I was hoping to dip my rock hard garlic roll that was purchased from Walmart in the sauce. The caesar salad also was bad. Super wilted and didn’t even have a caesar dressing taste. I paid $120 for a group of five of us tonight and it should’ve been about $20. The local Fazoli’s at home is better than this garbage on a plate.

Google
Excellent service, awesome waiter. Well light cozy restaurant. The portions are huge like any Italian joint. Not the best clams casino but Ive also had worse. The Shrimp Dia Frivolo* sp was more spice then I could handle so I loaded it up with cheese the favor was great just caught my a little. The loaded potato soup didn’t disappoint, their house made blue cheese was also super delish. Unfortunately we were sooooo stuff we had to leave with out dessert.

5/28/21 Wife and I went back to Capri and I had Sausage, meatballs and peppers over spaghetti while wife once again went eith chicken cordone blue. This is by far the best Italian food I've ever eaten, hands down. Original review below. I Would go back in a second. Meals were excellent. Fettuccine with shrimp and Chicken Cordone Blue, servings were good sized. The rolls, salads and sides were great. Will recommend to my friends.

Best place in town. Walking threw dooor you realize every body knows who everyone is and they treat you, who they don't know, the same. The people, the food and most the parking lot. With an older lady hitting on me at the entry way and seeing the waiter bring a forgotten card to some customers. This place has all the feel of home with service that gives you a smile and feelings of being appreciated. Our waiter was so awesome he was the first server on our vacation to ask if we needed drinks as soon as we sat down. Confidently I would say that I have never had better Italian anywhere in the lower 48 states.

Google
Very nice food, but struggled with service. The waitress we had was overwhelmed so it took her 40 minutes to get us drinks and take the food ordered. We had several tables lap us, always an indicator that things aren't so great. My first glass came with a lipstick-ladened rim. Requested salad dressing on the side. It was piled on top and drowned the vegetables. Seafood fra Diablo was nicely prepared and ample. So we're pizzas. Plenty of leftovers.

Google
Delicious food! Excellent service, plenty of parking. Be there before 6:30 pm to catch the house specials. We love the MEXICAN side too!!! A Mariachi band will be perfect or live music for the ITALIAN side of the restaurant. We give you: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Yelp
Now changed to Mayamex. Two days ago:The Italian sampler,no good,Same flavor the 3 pieces on it. Bread fresh.Food milanesa,I think it's not fresh prepared,no crust on it,soft like old prepared and the humidity took the breading.White tables cover.Good service.Food took long time and only 3 tables.8:30pm.I will not return, nothing there for us.

Yelp
We had the escargot appetizer, zucchini fries, the bread which is soooo good and dipped that into the escargot sauce.... Fabulous!! Dinner was the chicken cordon bleu with linguini pasta in Alfredo sauce, I got extra to take home. Hubby had the Capri steak with Angel hair pasta in garlic olive oil, & our son had the chicken piccata over spaghetti. Each was really large portions and so good. Service was excellent. Dessert was the cannoli and tiramisu.... Superb!! If you want really great Italian food bring your friends and family here. They will not disappoint.

Yelp
We had a not so great experience here because our server was also dealing with a very large party with separate checks that was very demanding of his time... Overlooking that, it was an above-average but not amazing Italian/Steakhouse. The menu is definitely large with choices to please anyone. The food quality was very good, prices were a bit higher than I would have liked for what was offered. This place is clearly a local institution. Everyone seemed to know everyone. The servers all bragged of working there a very long time. I understand that management may have changed recently, although staying in the family. I think this place may be living on its reputation to some degree and a bit past its prime. However, there may not be a lot of choices for good restaurants in this area. I would give it another try but I was not amazed by it.

Michael R.

Yelp
Mayamex at Capri in Florida City was awesome! Our server, Destiny, was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Her recommendation of the Carne Asada fries was right on! I have never tasted such an extraordinary combination. The quesobirria was cheesy, beefy goodness. The margueritas were better than anything else in the area. We will be back again and again.

Dee L.

Yelp
Family dinner; celebration of my twins birthday! Very nice! Manicotti and Chicken Parmesan very nice. Service impeccable; we were a party of 12. Thank you Pablita and Dori for a lovely experience! Definitely a do-over!

Yelp
do not get their pizza. peaked in the kitchen and they use jarred tomato sauce and premade dough. can't event throw a crust right. i'm not exasperating when i say the outer edges of the crust were thick and hard as rocks but the center was about as thin as a piece of paper. was unable to hold toppings and the pizza fell apart when our waitress was serving us. literally was mush and ripped in half. please learn how to cook before you work in a restaurant. an absolute joke of an Italian restaurant. also don't know why cordon blue was on the menu... it's an ITALIAN restaurant. my fams been eating here since they've opened and it's inedible now. so disappointed.

David C.

Yelp
I have been here many times over the past two decades, but it had been a while. Last night I went with some friends and my family, and it was just as great as I remember. They sat us in the wine room, and while the place was jumping and the service was very busy, our server did the best she could, and was very attentive and the food and the cocktails were excellent. Definitely going back soon.

Ronnita W.

Yelp
Did a to go order on slice. No concerns for order it was correct and on time. The food was really good. Try the gator bites! Kids really liked the cheese pizza, wish they had jumbo size. My veggie pizza had to go in the oven when I got home, it was pretty much a cheese pizza with raw vegetables put on top. Next time I will put in comments to cook vegetables on veggie pizza. I plan to return and when I feel pandemic safer I would like to dine in. Restaurant looks interesting and nice. Staff that greeted me upon entering was personable and helpful.

Sam L.

Yelp
Just a great place to be. I should go EVERY WEEK. The staff remembers me and it's nice to be remembered!!

Yelp
I came by The Capri Restaurant two weeks ago for a number of reasons. 1) I live relatively near the restaurant and have passed by a lot of times and always wanted to try it out. 2) My boss and I were going to have dinner and discuss business and he wanted to try this place out to. We actually originally started by going next door to Pub 935, which looks to be owned by the same owners as the Capri. When we entered the Capri we were quickly ushered to a table. At 6:00 pm on a Wednesday, we were the only customers there. As time went on, the restaurant started to fill up to about close to half capacity. Plenty of older locals came, other reviewers were spot on about this place being a local favorite. The decor looks like an old school Italian restaurant, nice bar area, also has an outdoor eating area. Our waiter brought us their bread and some butter (which was delicious and so good I had to ask for a second helping) and took our orders. I played it safe and asked for chicken cordon blue, my boss ordered some type of pasta. My boss loved his pasta, I enjoyed the chicken cordon blue but I wasn't blown away by it either. It was a pretty good meal.

Yelp
Service is horrible! Stopped by to order pizza to go and it took forever. I will never do that again.

Yelp
This restaurant has been a family favorite for over 50 years! The food is delicious, plentiful, and not at all overpriced. We ate for 2 days on the leftovers!

Yelp
New management is not getting it done. Walked in and was seated okay, but our waitress didn't come over. The guy who sat us, and apparently is the nephew of the new owner, saw this and finally came over and took our appetizer order. We had waited so long that we collectively (the nephew and those of us at the table) decided he should also bring soup and salads at the same time. When the appetizers were ready, it was again the nephew, not the waitress that brought them. The waitress finally showed up to take our dinner order. That didn't go well either. My younger so. Asked for lobster tail. She said they were out. So we let him read over the menu again while we moved on to my older son. He asked for stuffed shells. They were out of that too! He got the cannelloni instead. I had the veal scalloping, my wife eggplant parm, my niece the spaghetti and meatballs. We get back to my younger son and he orders a steak with a baked potato. Guess what? They were out of baked potatoes too! He ends up getting potatoes Aug gratin. Interesting note, I couldn't understand what she was saying and finally figured out that the waitress didn't know how to pronounce the word Au gratin. Another interesting observation...if you don't have potatoes for baking, how are you making Au gratin? Anyway, after getting though that ordeal, we finally get dinner. It was served by someone other than our waitress again and the person serving didn't know what the dinner he was serving was called . He called it cacciatore when it was actually scalloping. He had no idea what he was serving or what it was supposed to look like. So now to the end of the story. None of the five of us enjoyed his or her meal. Not one good dish and that includes the appetizers which were calamari and stuffed baked mushroom caps. All bad! This is really a shame. Don't waste your money here.

Miri B.

Yelp
Went in the other evening to eat with my family. The service was on point. Our waiter was great. He was very sweet, informative, thorough, and well mannered. The calamari we ordered tasted plain and dry. The salads were ok. The lasagna was a small portion. Smaller than expected. Kids pizza tasted great. Nothing really pulls me back in for a second round.

Yelp
Best food in south Florida. Staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Don't drive to the keys without stopping here

Yelp
My girlfriends and I decided to eat dinner at Capri's one night. The last time that I have been was for a high school banquet about 20 years ago, so it was like experiencing it for the first time all over again. It's been known to be a local favorite and you can tell when you're inside that it has plenty of loyal customers. Our wait time for a table was about 10 minutes on a Friday night. Inside the establishment has a very nice and appealing decor. There are plenty of tables, so you are very close to each other. We were able to hear the conversations near by and I'm pretty sure they heard ours. The waiter was very helpful and had a pleasant attitude. He was able to adjust our orders accordingly. The only problem was that when he gave us a few minutes to look over the menu it took him a while to finally come back to write down our order. The food felt like it took a long time to come out as well. I decided to play it safe and get the Chicken Limone with au gratin potatoes and a Caesar side salad. The food was delicious and cooked very well. Also, their garlic bread was very soft and yummy.

Yelp
This is a great local place that utilizes the local produce within their cuisine. The place has excellent services and white linen table clothes. It is a very nice atmosphere for families and/or business meetings. Many of the staff have become friends of several patrons, remembering names, birthdays and special orders. It's the small touches that give this place 5-stars +. Food is excellent, I would recommend the daily chef's specials and ask what local produced is being used. My family enjoyed the high quality ingredients Capri's uses in their pizza and offend we purchase an extra pizza to go! There is a full service bar and a great selection of spirts if your meal needs a compliment. I feel this place is a solid 5 star because of its consistency, quality of ingredients, service, final food product/ presentation and general pride and maintenance within the organization and staff. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Diana O.

Yelp
Great Italian food and so authentic! Plus the fish and steak are truly awesome! Great service and atmosphere. Our new favorite in FL City.... Just moved from Miami after 52 years.... Refreshing!

Ahindris V.

Yelp
Fine Italian dinning at a local gem. This quaint restaurant was established in 1958. Place is clean and nicely decorated. This was our first time going and we are looking forward to coming back. The food was so delicious; they have an extensive menu. I love veal and really liked the fact they prepare it in about 5 different ways. Their chocolate cake and coffee is delicious too. They have a charming little courtyard for outside sitting and have a couple of dinning rooms to accommodate private parties and events.

Stan D.

Yelp
Been coming here for years and have not had a bad meal yet. The service is always good as well. I usually get one of the following; Chicken Parmesan, Escargot, Scallop Potatoes, Spaghetti with either Meatballs or Sausage, Spaghetti Carbonara, Lasagna, Prime Rib, Steak, Pizza, Rum Cake, Cannoli or Tiramisu. Everything is good here. Monday thru Fridays from 1100 to 200, is their Lunch Buffet, with each day having a different main dish, but always has the Salad Bar, Soups, Pizza and made to order meals or you can order from the Menu. Capri also has a fully stocked Bar. If you are in the South Dade/Homestead?Florida City area, this is one place to go to for a great meal. .

Vachagan Y.

Yelp
We are locals, but this was our first visit to this local popular restaurant The overall experience was very satisfying. The place looks nice, classic European style, nice music, mostly 70-S and 80-s. The restaurant was quiet, not noisy at all. Service was fast, food was delicious. What else we need, right? We will be back for sure, probably with friends and family.

Margaret J. G.

Yelp
Love the new Large Marge Margarita! Made with Milagro Tequila and real lime juice. If you like Margarita's you will love this one. We also had the fried stuffed mushrooms. They were delicious. Our favorite meal is the blackened filet. It is tender, the seasoning is not too spicy and they top it off with crumbled blue cheese slightly melted. I like the twice baked potato as my side.

Christal T.

Yelp
We are staying in the area on vacation and like to try local restaurants. Once we tried Capri's we knew we would have to come back! Food was amazing and service was amazing. We even requested the same sever the second time we went. Great atmosphere and great people. Also, the bread is TO DIE FOR!

Yordanka R.

Yelp
Food is always amazing! We have ordered several times. Ordered delivery and all arrived perfectly.

Kathryn M.

Yelp
I've been eating here for the last 20 years. My family eats together here at least once a year for my mom's birthday because its her favorite restraunt; she's a super fan to say the least! However, she's not writing this review today & I'm going to be brutally honest; this place is just ok. I think it may have been an amazing restraunt before my time, but I think it lost its luster along the way and the people who still see it as amazing are living in a dream of what used to be. When you walk in you'll see a dining area with as many large round tables as they could pack into one place as possible. The hostess will walk you to your table and your waitress/waitor will greet you about 10 minutes later. Keep in mind that half the staff has worked here over 20 years so they may be a little slower than your modern restaurant. Remember to pick up your jaw after you see the menu because while the options are plentiful, the fair prices are not. Be prepared to spend at least $20 per entree, even if you're just getting spaghetti. I've tried many things on the menu but I can't say I'm a super fan of anything. The spaghetti is really bland. I know how horrible this is going to sound but it reminds me of cafeteria food. Plain noodles with a small blanket of seasonless sauce laid on top. The steaks (at least all the ones I've tried) are not tender, and again lack seasoning. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love steak and when cooked right you need minimal seasonings to enjoy the meat itself. You're just not going to get that experience here. If you plan on ordering any alcoholic beverages plan on your bill going over the $100 mark for 2 people. All in all, I've spent the last 20 years trying to see what my mom sees in this restaurant and I still haven't found it yet. While I love my mom, I just don't love this restaurant.

Ronald M.

Yelp
We almost missed out on this gem because of some of the negative reviews. Party of seven on a Thursday night. We were seated right away. The food was delicious and there were many options. The waiter was attentive. There's also a military discount!

Jasper O.

Yelp
Listen y'all intraweb folks, I'm legitimately not one to ever make a fuss about anything socially like this but gooooood damn, does this need to get out in the open. You LITERALLY couldn't pay me to ever even step foot on the premises of this establishment, again. Having said that I'm sure you're wondering why, yeah? Well, pull up a chair ladies and gentlemen, hobos and freaks, tonight we learn about how Richard Accursio's place is full of Creeps! Legitimately had a server walking out of the bathroom tucking away a bag of "booger sugar", whilst asking me(I'm bearded and covered in tattoos or more plainly put, a direct representation of the classic "drug user") if he had any "VCR"(Visible Cocaine Residue) on his face. Okay, server industry, long shifts w/bad pay? Fine. Let's talk about the service in the "front of house" though...not only was I greeted by a half hungover waitress that for one, smelt of heavy drinking the night before, BUT, she had an attitude as if our party was to blame for the service we paid for that SHE and/or anyone at this establishment is required to abide by. Now again, I'm a grease monkey and work D@Mn hard for my income, so when I try to put I to the economy and get flack from someone who feels the need to take out their frustrations because of their job situation, I'm gonna get irritated. All in all, I'd never eva Eva Eva Eva Eva Eva Eva evvvvva go here again. Ps., the bathrooms had fences spread everywhere.

Kerry P.

Yelp
Great food and great service, I will come back again . I have lived in Homestead for many years

Abdu J.

Yelp
This place has gone downhill like crazy. I used to go with my family fairly regularly growing up. I'm told The owner's son took over and clearly has no idea what he's doing. The newer pub side seems pretty cool though. Going to try there next time. I never want to deal with the bartender Tammy again. She is just bad at her job and seems to constantly be screaming from the back, her voice is so shrill it makes you cringe, and feel bad thinking about the poor dish washer, busser, or server she is reaming out back there. I worked in the service industry, specifically bars and restaurants, for almost 13 years and NOBODY should scream and belittle employees in general let alone within earshot of the customers. I have no idea how she's kept her job there so long. She wouldn't last a week acting like that anywhere I've ever worked. The rest of The staff seemed to be trying there best.

Alexander P.

Yelp
All around the place stinks.... Service sucks And wth do Mexicans know about making Italian authentic food... This place was never really a "has been" although it's been around since before hurricane Andrew ( I've been a native for awhile)... U want good food keep traveling north, even mamma mias is better than this place if ur stuck on something in the area Either way I avoid this place like the plague and hold to where I finally give this place another shot and then I'm sorry I did.... NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Thomas P.

Yelp
I always stop by for dinner when I travel to Homestead. I always feel welcomed and the food is very good. The Italian food is very good and the service is on point. The clientele is a bit older so it is quiet which is ok by me! I would definitely recommend this establishment

AnneMarie G.

Yelp
Excellent gator bites and caprese salad. My mom loved the antipasto salad and lemon chicken. I would eat here frequently if I resided in the area. Really great food! A great change from the seafood restaurants we had been eating at.

Cherine A.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here on a whim last night, not really knowing what to expect. We could smell the aromas coming from the kitchen while still in the parking lot, and it made us even hungrier. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and we both commented on how great the service was - something we're not used to in Miami. You don't feel like they're rushing you out the door, they wait until you're done with your appetizer before bringing the salad, and wait until you're done with your salad before bringing your entree. My boyfriend ordered the calamari (which is how he judges how good an Italian restaurant is). I don't eat calamari... it's a mental thing. But I tried it and it wasn't at all chewy. He said it was one of the better calamaris he's had. Our meals came with either soup or salad. I had a side caesar, and he had cream of potato soup. My caesar was good, with fresh lettuce, but had a bit too much dressing for my taste. His soup was tasty, but could have used a dash of salt and pepper. For our main entrees, he ordered the chicken parm, which came with a side of spaghetti, while I had the manicotti. He enjoyed the chicken, and I really liked the manicotti - the sauce was a tomato sauce that wasn't too chunky, and it came topped with a very generous amount of mozzarella. It came with two crepes filled with ricotta, but with the really delicious bread they give you, plus the salad, neither of us could finish our meals. Right now they're celebrating their 50th anniversary, so they have a lot of specials going on. I believe one of them is 50% to go pizzas Monday through Thursday. When we first came in, someone was walking out with four pizzas, and they smelled fantastic, so we're definitely going to take advantage of that special soon! Overall, the quality of the food was pretty good, and the service was excellent. I'm sure we'll be back :)

Cathy C.

Yelp
We take a two night stay in Homestead every year. For the last 3 years we have had meals at the Capri. This year we were greeted by a blonde woman behind the bar with a sour disposition. When a person in our party said the Mountains were white on his Coors Light and the beer was warm she said "you know you are not in Colorado"...So my friend said could I have a glass of ice, followed by "no one else has complained tonight about warm beer"... When another person in our party went to order she said no onions on the quesadilla if there are any. The response was "does it say it has onions" We paid for the beer and told her never mind and left... Such a shame, really enjoyed the food there. Not spending money in an establishment to be treated harshly This was Monday evening 3/05/18

M A.

Yelp
We were unable to eat there, so take this review for what it is worth, as a comment on customer service not quality of food. After a long day of sightseeing, we showed up with our 4 kids to eat at 8pm on a Monday. I had googled and double checked that their hours said they were open until 9pm. We walked in and were immediately made to feel very unwelcome as someone came out of the kitchen, saw us, waved her hand and said, very rudely, "We're closed!" Another employee started to question her, and she repeated loudly, "The kitchen says it's closed!" I responded that I thought I had read they were open until 9, and she said, "Nope, the website says, today we close at 8." Double checked the google information and Facebook site and they both said and continue to say they are open until 9 on Mondays. And, I wouldn't have been nearly as upset if it had just been explained clearly and kindly, I understand things can change sometimes. I have literally never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant in my life. We consciously chose to eat during our stay there at local restaurants instead of chains -- and this was just such a disappointment. Headed over to Texas Roadhouse where we received excellent service and attention. Hopefully Capri sees this review and makes a change.

Joseph B.

Yelp
What a fantastic local gem. In business since the 50's, a serving staff that is fantastic and seasoned. Currently set up for 50% capacity due to pandemic. The whole staff is masked and you get to watch the tables be sanitized after each patron. The food is as good as ever. This is a can't miss place if you are in Homestead or passing through on the way to the Keys.

Ben F.

Yelp
I don't know how there are so many four and five star reviews...those people probably didn't eat at the same restaurant that I did. The waiter was amiable but could not make up for the gruesomely slow service. We spent almost 2.5 hours at the restaurant...good thing they had a TV. The food came out in a disorderly fashion and took way too long with only a few other parties in the restaurant. Now, the food. The rolls were warm, fresh, and lightly seasoned--probably the only good part of the meal. The house salad that came with the entree was just an average salad that you could make at home (and probably would taste better if made at home). I had the Veal Parmigiana as my main entree, which just tasted like ground beef smothered with mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce. The side spaghetti was nothing special either. Overall, the experience at this restaurant was underwhelming. I would recommend checking out Chef on the Run if you're visiting for a quality meal. This restaurant honestly made me miss Olive Garden.

Adam L.

Yelp
Excellent place with great food. We were coming back from the Keys on our way to Vero and got hungry for a steak. The 14oz filet with peppercorn sauce exceeded my expectations. The service was extremely attentive to our 2year old boy to make sure he likes what he ate. Our waiter and hostess (owner?) was also super nice. I have no idea what all the complaints are about. We are from Chicago so our culinary expectations are pretty high.

Michael H.

Yelp
I have been going here for years, the last year has been so bad that I won't return anymore. The last 4 times i have gone the servers are always great and seem to try, but the food and time frame is not acceptable. you have to allow two and half hours for dinner, and even then your disappointed by the food. I kept giving it another try thinking maybe they are having a bad night, but it keeps getting worse. Something has changed because it used to be great. I will miss them.

evan f.

Yelp
Came here for dinner tonight and sadly we will not return the wife ate chicken francese it was super thick chicken breast covered in thick burned egg over pasta.... it had zero lemon or wine it was just dry and tasteless... I ordered the kings steak which is a filet with a mushroom sauce... that also had zero flavor and was over cooked and cold... when the manager came to ask how dinner was we said everything was pretty bad and bland.. her response was "all of our food is bland we don't season the food you have salt and pepper on the table" i was in complete shock lol what do u mean you don't season the food her response was people are allergic to seasoning... ummm ok gross bland food no thanks for an average of 25$ a plate good luck staying open

Yelp
When in Miami for business we decide to rent a car an drive to Homestead / Florida City. Capri was a family favorite when growing up and living in the Redland area in the early 70's. We had a wonderful dinner, a great bottle of wine. I had the stuffed shells, and my friend ordered a pizza as I have raved and judged all other pizza's the last 30 years by the amazing pizza from Capri. One of my favorites from the early 70's were the bread sticks, the knots were good, but they were not those awesome, I can eat the entire basket bread sticks from the 70's. Fantastic place, will look forward to my next visit . Also would like to give a shout out to the wait staff, everyone provided five star service.

Yelp
Avoid this place at all costs. All that's offered is overpriced, bland food in small portions. Definitely not authentic Italian. And the outdated restaurant decor coupled with lacking service just lends a weird atmosphere. This place reminded me of an old lounge in the 80s advertising a free buffet with two-drinks purchase special.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would do that... Most horrible experience ever! We hired this restaurant to cater our event but the owner and bartender of this restaurant were drinking while working to the point that they were clearly intoxicated which is very unprofessional and inappropriate (multiple statements from witnesses in writing to confirm this). The food was great, but the service was the worst we have ever experienced. Even our event planner was super stressed out because she was treated in a very disrespectful manner. And when you complain about their bad behavior and service then they won't make any effort to apologize and make it right... instead they have their lawyer send you a letter to intimidate you?! Newsflash: customers are allowed to complain about services according the Consumer Review Fairness Act. Because Capri doesn't want to solve this matter we have filed an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. We don't want to harm Capri's reputation, but we do want to warn potential customers so hopefully we can prevent this from happening to any other family or company. If you need any further information please send me a DM because they will probably deny these facts or post some fake response here.

Yelp
Meh, food was ok, but not a good value as it's expensive. Decor was stale and the service was decent. Probably will not visit again.

Yelp
If I could give this place 0 stars I would , terrible service , terrible food , their dinner rolls are reused , and my girlfriend was treated terribly when we went here by their staff , we heard them sneering and jeering in the back of the house about her disability , what kind of establishment is this that makes fun of handicapped people , I am beyond disgusted by this establishment and will never set foot in here again , and the manager pablito is just a terrible person overall and does not have what it takes to run a business properly , I urge the rest of you to do the same and spend your hard earned money elsewhe.... UPDATE* the oh so unprofessional manager has messaged me on two separate accounts asking me to remove my comments, what kind of owner has the time to go and harass people who are posting an honest review on their business ??? What is this , he also had another person named Kenneth message me harassing me asking me to remove my comment , I believe this is America and I have freedom of speech if I'm not mistaken? I will not be having any of this mr James , and I will be sure to tell everyone else not to visit this horrible disgusting place you call a business .

Yelp
I am very picky when it comes to prime rib. And they have the best prime rib in Honestead. Take it from me...order the prime rib -rare...with steak fries and sour apple martini with Belvedere and you've got an awesome meal.

Yelp
This gold mine in Homestead is as special today as it was years ago. I use to eat here every Saturday night with a group of friends who lived in Homestead. Beautiful decor, the best quality of food, and excellent service . I have never had a dish I didnt love! I loved their new marketing idea text Capri to 30321 and you get a free appetizer up to $10 value. My favorite ingredient is to hear the laughter around me, families sharing the joy of being together and eating a delish meal! DICKIE S Palmetto Bay, FL

Yelp
Food was okay and pretty pricey for the quality, rolls were delicious and probably the best thing served. Drinks were better at the bar next door but the server actually got mad at us for getting a drink BEFORE sitting at the table, most likely because she knew she was getting an automatic 20% tip for a large party. The automatic gratuity is probably what drove the poor service from the server as well. I actually had to go to the bar again to get a refill on my own water, as empty glasses all down the table were ignored. Also later in the night extremely loud music started playing from the connected bar next door drowning out the conversation and atmosphere. Prior to that the atmosphere was actually pretty nice. Most likely would not come back.

Yelp
We have eaten here a few times with mixed results. I want this place to be good because it is close to home and has a pretty big menu. A few of the times we have been there it has been pretty good, but the last time we ate there we were sorely disappointed. The service was a train wreck. Our waiter was a young man who clearly had much to learn about the art of waiting tables. My wife and I ordered a couple drinks, an appetizer an our entrees. A few minutes after ordering he brought out our salads and disappeared. We were thinking WTF? Salads before the appetizer? But we were pretty hungry so we ate the salads. The next time he came to the table was to bring the entrees. When asked about the appetizer he tried to deny we ordered one and hardly made an effort to make it right. At that point we didn't even want it anymore. Other factors that warrant a two star review are: - The tables are way to close together. We always learn way more about our neighboring tables than we want to know - The cliental of the Capri are usually elderly. At almost 40 years old, I always feel like I am the youngest person in the place. - The food is right on the edge of being over-priced. You can get equal quality at Mama Mia's for a few bucks less. So the bottom line is the place is kind of mediocre and we probably won't be back. PS.... Three hours after eating at the Capri and writing the above review, I am suffering from all of the symptoms of food poisoning. It is going to be a long night. DO NOT EAT HERE!!
