I ordered a tuna and BLT sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! If I could give 10 stars I would, this is my new favorite sandwich shop!

It is quality sandwiches that really makes you appreciate the variety they serve. Ingredients are top notch.

I love this chain, and this particular location, but next time I see they’re busy I’ll probably go somewhere else, 30 minutes for a cold sandwich is crazy 😵‍💫 Staff here is great too, I just think they needed an extra person today

First time eating here. Service was pretty quick and there was a good variety of options. Best option if you're vegan but still want deli food. My daughter got a vegan cheese steak.

First time eating here, I walked in during a VERY busy time. It was just Mel and Chanice working and they still greeted me as I walked in and informed me it might be a while. Although some customers were causing a fuss about the wait, they were very quick to make my order despite the rush (it took maybe 5 to 10 minutes). I got the Chicken Chipotle Crunch and MAN was it tasty. One of the best cheese steaks I've ordered around Chicago area. Food was 5 stars and I'll give the service 5 stars for how professional they kept during the busy rush. I will be coming back whenever I'm in the area.

I ordered pastrami and they gave me cold, unseasoned roast beef. We had to go back because they forgot something in our order. 2 weeks ago, I ordered through their site on Door Dash. Half my order was missing. They blamed it on the poor DoorDash person, but I’m now convinced that the restaurant didn’t pack all of my order. The stores excuse for not fixing it was “my general manager isn’t here. I’ll have them call you tomorrow”. Still haven’t heard back. I will never go back to this location.

Be prepared to wait and wait and wait, EVEN if you order an HOUR ahead. They can't even make a sandwich correctly (see picture of one piece of bread one way and the other piece the other way).

I stood in the lobby of the restaurant for at least six minutes and was ignored by three people. I am now watching the same thing happen to another customer. Not good service at all.

Do not order from this place unless you are picking it up yourself and can thoroughly check it before you walk away with it. Do not use any delivery service. The restaurant pays zero attention to special instructions, or worse, they get them so garbled that they do exactly the opposite of what you want. I even called right after putting in my DoorDash order to emphasize that they should read and follow the special instructions. I wanted no Gorgonzola vinaigrette. Instead, they gave me the Gorgonzola vinaigrette and left off all the Gorgonzola cheese from the salad. So basically I got a $20 bowl of lettuce. Look at the picture of their Wagyu and blue salad. Looks nice, doesn't it? But you don't get that much meat, even with "double" meat. They used to give you a lot more, and no one is going to gaslight me into saying they didn't. On delivery service applications, they don't give you the opportunity to order triple or quadruple meat, which would almost be enough for a person on a diet. They literally give you ONE ounce, they said as much when I called to complain. Some time ago, I had a similar problem with them and I called them up to complain, and they said they were going to put me in some book for a $20 credit. When I called to complain about THIS particular order, I said I wanted the credits combined. They said they threw them away at the end of the year! I was not told that when I was told I was getting a $20 credit. They have ripped me off for the last time. I bet they wouldn't dare put only 2 ounces of meat on a sandwich that called for double meat. I'm so angry. I'm about to have a heart attack. Goodbye, cruel world.

Capriotti's can suck it! After getting a delivery order wrong for the second time I called & spoke with a female manager who got snippy with me instead of making it right. We will NOT patronize this business again.

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop 902 Roby Dr, Hammond IN 46320 October 26, 2022 Wednesday - Noon for lunch 1 Adult Atmosphere - 4 stars Food - 3 stars Service - 0 stars Background - Short on time and wanted something close to Midway airport as I just flew in. Yelp to the rescue. Atmosphere - Clearly new, but it is a small place. The only people sitting were those waiting for their food to go. Food Drink - A bottle of Dole pink lemonade. Lunch - I went with the American Wagyu Roast Beef. I had to look at my reviews it has been over a decade since I been to a Capriotti's. The pictures show a a sub that is stacked with layers of the great stuff. Instead you get a roll that is filleted and the beef is crammed in then provolone cheese, lettuce, onions, mayo, and tomato. Then tomato sat on top of what was pretty much a open face sandwich. Great there is a lot of meat in there but not an easy sandwich to eat and did not meet expectations when the picture of the product is not the same thing you receive. The tomato was heavily peppered and did not want to stay in the sandwich. I had to eat the tomato by itself and after that first bite I stopped eating it. Service - The cashier seemed over whelmed. She even said to me why is everyone coming in at once. I am thinking to myself it is noon. I know this is the age of placing orders via an app so it is truly hard to tell the order in which people ordered their meal. But from the time I ordered to getting my food took over 30 minutes. I was planning to enjoy my sub there, but I had to take it with me. I had to eat it at work, which I did not want to do. Future - Nope.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the amazing vegetarian options that this sandwich shop offers - both veggie turkey and two cheese steak options. That immediately elevates them above other sub shops in my mind. My husband had the Impossible™ Cheese Steak, and I had the Veggie Turkey. He enjoyed his sandwich, and I loved the turkey that came on mine. However, neither of us were big fans of the bread, and the proportion of toppings to bread was unfortunate. I would definitely return - even just for that turkey sub though!

I ordered what was supposed to be Vegetarian Chicken Cheese Steak. I received whatever the employee made. Which looked more like the impossible chz steak. I specially requested the vegetarian chicken cheese sandwich because I'd had it before. They tell me I couldn't get a refund because nothing was wrong with the sandwich yet the entire sandwich was made wrong. The manager was very unkind and not understanding nor being reasonable with a solution. She immediately wanted to argue with me that despite the obvious sloppily made sandwich they don't give refunds. I demanded my refund even after the employee stood right in front of me with his bare hands taking apart and touching items in the sandwich and still asserting no refund because nothings wrong with the sandwich. I came to realize after getting my refund and leaving So glad I kept the receipt not only had the employee rung up my order as the wrong item but he knew he did and the manager backed him up 100% instead of checking behind her employee. It was a very unpleasant experience and I never plan to visit the establishment again. I am very disappointed as I was very clear with the manager about what I ordered and having ordered it before. They tried taking advantage of my minor daughter who initially placed the order too. When the employee realized I came in to get my money back he tried making every excuse in the book instead of admitting he entered the wrong order. I will be my experience as well as reporting the policies of this establishment to the BBB and CFPB as it's unacceptable to think it's okay to not give a refund for an inedible product after a mistake. To top matters off I've been vegetarian almost my whole life the sandwich they gave me had impossible meat that had clearly been cooked with and mixed in the same remnants of actual meat steak and or chicken. Unclean grill or whatever they are using. Not only could I smell it but there was clearly actual steak and chicken meat remnants in the sandwich that could've easily led to myself and my unborn child being very sick. Noticing a trend with there being lots of black women complaining about the service. And they take forever to make your food almost 35 mins. For a wrong sandwich. Manager is trash breathing and what's wrong with the world today. Also pay attention the owner seems to only reply to good reviews so clearly this place has zero accountability. I wish I had taken a picture for evidence purposes so that they can see the three different meats on one sandwich smh.

Wouldn't go back. I got the Classic Cheese Steak because I love that sort of sandwich. Picture online and what I got were two totally different sandwiches. There was hardly any filling in comparison to bread, very little cheese and didn't find one pepper of any color on my sandwich though they are clearly shown in the picture online. My husband had the Capistrami and again, didn't resemble the photo at all. We were excited to try but won't go back. Certainly not worth $11 for a medium sandwich.

Got 2 sandwiches to go when Popeyes was out of sandwiches. Thank god.... Cheese steak and American wagyu with hot peppers. Served pretty quick considering they are hand made to order and for us by a friendly staff. 4 hours later still stuffed but looking at menu now to see what I get next time. And I will drive 40 minutes to the new looking mall kinda next the the casino. Signed full of it.

Too much salt on their sandwiches , the cookies are usually over baked & for whatever reason they can never get the cup lids tightly held onto their cups.

We picked up a turkey sub here last night. We expected deli meat. Instead it was shredded and very dry. Couldn't find tomatoes which were supposedly included. Too bad since we have gotten good food here previously. Also ingredients in general were very skimpy for a $12 medium sub.

Impossible Cheese Steak A Hit ! Not too many places where they offer a vegan Philly cheese steak experience and when I did eat steak in comparison pretty similar

The food was really good but not enough meat to fill the bun. Seems like way more bread than anything else. I ordered ahead online and when I come in 20 minutes later it was ready. Nice and hot!

This place is all about the hot bobbie. Just do it. The world's most crave-able sandwich.

I know were are in a crisis and it has all of us. Up and Down went there last week to get me a sub sandwhich and was all set to chow down. Got there and it was closed I was upset. Until I realized that it was MOTHERS DAY! and you guys might have wanted the day off or the fact of you might be closed on sundays. Sorry for being selfish the subs are sooooo good.

This rating is based off the food and not the service. The staff are friendly and fast. However, the quality of the sandwiches lack flavor. I ordered the thanksgiving sandwich and it wasn't all that great. I don't know what it was but I wasn't impressed with the selections. I was better off going to Subway. I hate Subway. The place was very clean.

Good food, good service. The restaurant was clean and the impossible steak sandwich is to die for.

This was a disaster. I ordered online 3 sandwiches with the three free grilled cheese. Two soups. Imagine my shock to get a text that it had arrived and I opened my door to find nothing. I asked for a phone call to notify me it was there that never came. I called the Jerk that did not give his name on the phone there told me he would make it again only if I came to pick it up in person. No delivery. Only pick up or refund. Terrible customer service. I told him give me the refund and never expect me to order again. He treated me like I was stealing from him when his delivery service screwed up! They are jerks!

If you stick to their uniquely original specialty sandwiches; then, yes they are excellent. The Bobbie is a great sandwich. This sandwich is thanksgiving in a bun. The turkey is made fresh everyday! In addition, it has cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo. The Capastrami is another excellent creation with very fresh tasting pastrami, swiss cheese and coleslaw. The meatball sandwich is also an excellent choice with the fresh tasting marinara providing an excellent contrast to the rich meatballs. Then, why am I not giving them a perfect 5 stars? Well, I found the Italian sub to only be good, but not excellent. This place would be much better off if they sourced their bread from one of the excellent bakeries around town (Turano, Gonnella, Publican). Likewise, I found the Italian style sausage that they used in their sandwich was the sort you would find on the east coast. News flash, Chicagoland area makes much better Italian sausage then the sort you find on the east coast. Yes, its true, I believe it has to do with the stockyards once being in Chicago. Many places around Chicago make excellent Italian sausage. Should anything I am writing deter you from visiting? Absolutely not, because if you stick to their original sandwiches, then you have made an excellent choice. Also, they make the best variety of sandwiches in this area. Please do not compare them to Subway! This place is in a whole different higher category of quality. But, if you are looking for a cheap unmemorable low quality sandwich, then, make your way on over to Subway.

Been here twice and both times I was very pleased with my sandwich. I have gotten the Bobbi and the cheesesteak. The Bobbi is cold but i wish it was warm i think. The cheesesteak was GREAT. They have so many sandwiches I would like to try!

I went to this location recently as I was curious about their sandwiches and they are fairly new to my area. As I am fan of both Subway and Potbelly, I figured why not give this a try..... As some have referenced, the place is not all that big...and when it gets busy there might not seem to be that much room between patrons eating in and those ordering. To me that's ok as it adds to the charm of the place. Anyway I get in there and was immediately greeted with a friendly hello and welcome to the place. After a big of a wait and also trying to figure out what I wanted, I decided on a Chicken Parmesan sub combo. As they had a number of choices, I went for a small sub (they have assorted sizes from smaller to large....) and turned it into a combo with chips and drink. Well eventually my order is ready and I open the sub up (oh yea they toast them too...huge ++ in my book). It was really good with the tomato sauce and cheese oozing out. It was also very flavorful and hot too. I would definitely recommend the place. They have a variety of items to choose from and many different sizes for however big or small of meal you want. I will definitely come back here and try another sub.

The best Philly I ever had in my life Hands down ! I give 'em 5stars on any day!! I always get the largest one and split it so freaking seriously delicious

I decided to come here today because a reviewer stated everyone is masked up, changing gloves after each use , and they're keeping safety at the forefront for their customers. However, two out of three male workers in the kitchen aren't wearing a mask. Why? I understand being fully vaccinated, but the transmission of covid is still possible. It doesn't appear you'd do all possible to give your patrons peace of mind by having your staff wear a mask with this new variant rising.

I really like these sandwiches. I've had the homemade Turkey sandwich - today I had it plain - it was that good - doesn't need any condiments. We've also had the chicken cheese steak sandwich. Unbelievably delicious. I appreciated the staff - everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, and fast. They all seem able to do all tasks. I really liked that they change gloves between taking payments and making sandwiches. Everyone was masked. The prices are higher than subway or jersey mikes or jimmy John's but this is better. Based on how delicious the food is, the prices are low! I visited around 5 pm and the place had a steady flow of customers. Can't wait for more locations to pop up.

Delicious sandwiches and phenomenal service! Owners often pop in and run the register or the line- everyone smiles and is eager to please Healthy food options as well- try the CAPP's chopped salad!

I'm going to give them 3 stars today. But I have been before and it was most definitely a 5 star. Ok back to today I get the veggie turkey and cheese, like always but today the young man only put 1-2 slices of turkey and no cheese. I mean I love a got lettuce,tomato, onion sandwich but not at $9.00 a sandwich. The young man had to ask how to cut it 3 pieces. I asked for. That's just me. I mean I was soo upset because I wasn't the (Awesome) sandwich I had. I don't want your new people making my sandwich anymore. Sorry I know you have to learn but not on my sandwich.

I did like this restaurant but after tonight they are lucky im not going to sue them. I found unknown object ( I don't know if its a bone or plastic).

Absolutely one of the best sandwiches I have had. We split the Wagu roast beef and the Impossible Cheese Steak. Both were amazing!!!! The staff was very nice and the business was clean!!!!

Their new impossible sub is so good! I've literally ordered it like 4 times already. I live in the area and I've never heard of Capriottis before, but I'm glad I know about it now! I'm also glad that a new restaurant is in the area. The first time I went to try it out, it was good but it was dry. * tip * I didn't know you had to ask for mayonnaise- maybe they should say that to customers. Staff is really friendly and so is the manager I'm assuming is always there. Place is also very clean and there's plenty of room to sit. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it is somewhat expensive. However, I do think it's worth the price if you want to try something different.

Omg these sandwiches are delicious! Lots of meat and full of flavor! I've definitely become a CapAddict. The Bobbie is my favorite and of course the chocolate chip cookies are a must!

Hello , hello , let me tell you about CAPRIOTTI'S sandwiches .I'm a pescatarian, for those who don't know I don't eat meat .I do eat seafood, anyway this place will get you right. They are VEGAN friendly, check there menu out .Oh you will be VERY impressed with your food, I was . Nice job

I was really disappointed. I saw lots of marketing and hype regarding their Vegas units which piqued my curiosity. The parking is limited. The entry has no double door which meant Cold air blasting the very small dining room. You line up next to people's tables. Your butt is in their face. The menu is very extensive with cold and grilled items plus salads. The service was very slow during lunch. The manager was the sole cashier. You order at the register and pick up by your name. Again you're standing right next to awkwardly placed tables. Nowhere to stand! The dining room floor is plain concrete. The wind tunnel and lack of decor might be their strategy to have you take it with you. They also have a pick up window. The sizes of subs- half, small, medium large. There is a sample sub at the counter to show you their sizes. The half looks to be about an inch bigger than the small. The bread was nothing special. There is an oven in the open kitchen area but I also saw bags of bread. It truly tasted like commercial bread. The "Italian" had so little meat that I had to open the sandwich to make sure they put it on. It did come with an oil topping but otherwise was pretty unremarkable in taste. If you're used to Subway than this would be a great upgrade for you. If you like the quality of Jersey Mike's with freshly cut meats and small talk service than you will be disappointed. I did like the tray that had kids lollipops-that's about all I saw that was different. So many sandwich competitors with better product and decent service.

Stopped in for lunch today as a first timer and they definitely impressed. Love a good cheesesteak so had to go with it. It was over the top delicious. Bread was fresh and you can tell the steak they use is of higher quality. The service was also top-notch. I can't wait to try some other sandwiches as they all looked amazing!

I am vegetarian and it's very hard to find a great veggie sandwich. I have tried Capriotti's Turkey veggie sandwich and was beyond delicious!! The perfect combination of veggies and veggie turkey. I also tried a salad and was very fresh and premium quality. Portions are very generous and stuff is very friendly. Will definitely be coming back. Interior is also very modern and upscale.

Great service, and greeted by the workers as soon as you walk in! I had the Bobbie sandwich which was the Turkey, dressing and cranberry sauce, it was great. They had a much different selection of sandwiches compared to other restaurants. I can't wait to stop in again to try another sandwich!

Our family loves Capriottis! They opened two weeks ago and I've been 3 times! Each time I was greeted by the friendly staff and given recommendations on what sandwich I might try next. I've had the Bobby (pulled turkey,stuffing with cranberry sauce), BBQ Chicken (with slaw) and the Capistrami. The ingredients are fresh and the bread was excellent. Also, very convenient pick-up window for online orders. Looking forward to my next sandwich which will be the Italian sausage! 5 STARS!!!

Currently still thinking about the sandwiches my husband and I tried! It was our first time trying their sandwiches and both the classic cheesesteak and the bobby sandwich exceeded all my expectations!! I believe it was the manager who came up to us while we were eating and even asked how the food was; he was very hospitable and friendly. It was very clean inside as well which I can really appreciate. Definitely going back again. (:

My son brought me here one day for lunch shortly after they opened. I can't begin to tell you how many times we've been back ! I have had the BBQ Chicken, the Grilled Italian, The Bobbie, the Classic Italian and my ABSOLUTE favorite - The Cole Turkey! My son's favorite is the Classic Cheese Steak - he says it's the best he's eaten. I always get the Tomato Bisque soup, which is the best I've had in forever. The staff are extremely friendly and patient and we have never had a bad experience. We've been ordering from their app and it couldn't be easier or more convenient. I'm so glad they're located so close to us, and I would recommend anyone to try this place. You won't be disappointed!

Great food! All employees should wear hair nets under their hats and use disposable gloves. Employees could be more friendly.

The food is amazing. The restraunt is new to the area and is a great change from the usual sub shops. They make fresh food daily. You wont get that at your Subway.

So I had noticed the store but had no desire to try it until a character in a book I was reading bought it for lunch. I really wanted a sandwich so I went. First, there are only subs. Second, I came 10 minutes before close. I did not know what I wanted but the cashier was very nice and patient. The store was exceedingly clean. I really liked that they have a pickup window. I didn't need to wait inside, but could return to my car and drive around to the pickup window. When I drove around another employee pleasantly asked my name and said it was coming up soon. A young gentleman gave me my order and was exceedingly nice as well. I was there on Monday, August 17. The food was beyond delicious. The beef for the Philly cheese steak was high quality. The tuna was perfect. My salad was fresh and delicious. I will return soon even though it's not close. It was great that they were young, but kept their masks on properly and the area was so clean. The cashier only handled the transaction and prepackaged items. She didn't make transactions then make drinks and touch open food items. The cleanliness is outstanding and so is the food and they made you feel so welcome.

Good place to grab a quick bite. I really enjoy the cheese steak sandwiches. I don't think I've had better outside of Philadelphia. The sweet and hot peppers put them over the top. The workers are friendly and the store is clean. It's nice being able to see the food being prepared and the sanitary practices the employees follow.

It's on the border of Indiana and Chicago. Excellent Excellent. I lived in Vegas and this was my go to spot for sandwiches. Their outstanding, my CAPASTRAMI WAS OFF THE CHAIN and the customer service is very good .. if you want a real sandwich, "keep the hell out of subway" and submit your bodies to FRESH.

Terrible Sandwiches NOT FRESH could be good if it was fresh food you get 2-3 days leftovers Dont eat on this place you may get sick like Me....
