The Best Sandwich Shops in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop stuffs their fresh-baked sub rolls with all manner of sandwich fixin’s. But the standout here is the Bobbie. Like a Thanksgiving dinner but better, this sub has slow-roasted turkey topped with cranberry sauce, handmade stuffing, and mayo." - Janna Karel

Google
Wow! They have vegetarian options and a separate menu section to show them off. I ordered the biggest sandwich to split with extra veg meat and cheese thinking I wanted to make sure it was enough and it was actually TOO much - had to take some off. Bread, lettuce tomato and onion was very fresh. I added spicy mustard as well and it was delicious!! Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will visit again soon.

Google
Good deli sandwiches. A chain restaurant. I ordered the Bobbie which was cold turkey and cold stuffing with cranberry sauce. I asked for the cranberry sauce on the side. I put a little mayonnaise on it because it was a little dry without the cranberry sauce. We also ordered the grilled Italian which was pretty oily. I wouldn't order that one again. I would order the Bobbie again.

Google
Tables were very dirty outside. It was disgusting. Food we ordered to go was salty, barely any cheese in the cheesteak we ordered, dry, we had to come back to get sauce on the side we had ordered also, and more people were there also complaining about their orders so we didn't want to just sit there and wait long time to get issues resolved. Saw how a woman odered a water cup, employee went and got herself a soda before providing the cup from the guest. Terrible customer service. Wont be comming back to this location ever.

Google
I had my hopes set high to grab a Capriotti’s Sammie early in the a.m. We had arrived about 815 and the doors were locked. Oh man, I didn’t want to settle for Panera or Subway. I took a chance and called the number on the door hoping they just hadn’t opened. Fortunately for me, I was greeted by a pleasant voice on the line and she explained a coworker called out (imagine that…), but she was sweet enough to open the doors and make some sandwiches and salads for us! Ms. Sam, thank you SO much for setting us up. We look forward to enjoying our Sammies later today. To Capriotti’s and her manager in particular, you should be proud of this young lady who repped you well. She didn’t have to serve us, but she did with a smile on her face! Thanks again young lady, all the best, and God bless!!

Google
This was my first time eating at Capriotti’s. I got a small Italian. The sandwich was pretty solid however, I have a strong feeling that there are better sandwiches on the menu so I will be back soon.

Google
This is one place we found where we saw lots of vegetarian options. They have o e side of the menu for all plant based Subs. The prices were reasonable. After eating the veggie plant based chicken sandwich, I had to edit the review. This has been thr best, best sandwich ever!

Johnny Moss

Google
$31 bucks!, (with tip)!, for a grilled chicken sub that honestly didn’t taste good and I have low standards, I literally eat at Long John Silvers and like it. How do you mess up grilled chicken?, like how do you make it that bad? It takes effort! The employees were nice that wasn’t the problem, the food is not good and they charged 30 bucks…. For. A. Sub. Omg FML… Avoid this place.

Elsa Mena

Google
Soggy, sloppy, messy, stingy. They cut the meatballs in half.

Yelp
Some of the best sandwiches out there The customer service is amazing. They're very very quick to get your food to you. The sandwich was very tasty. The ingredients were fresh and the atmosphere was pleasant. They've gotta have some of the best sandwiches in the market prices are absolutely reasonable. Love sandwiches Capriotti is the place to go

Yelp
Friendly employees and really good food. I got the wagyu cheese steak,.my wife got a regular cheese steak and my daughter got the Italian. All of them were delicious. First time eating here and when we visit Vegas again, we'll eat here again.

Linda R.

Yelp
Our family went there between games. The service was friendly and helpful. The sandwiches on the other hand were fine, but not an authentic sub. It's reminiscent of a Togo's or Subway sandwiches. We were looking for something a little more authentic (Little Lucca's or Ike's). Overall it was fine. I'd recommend getting it to go as the seating area was a little small & it had an interesting smell.

Yelp
When in Vegas, Capriotti's usually sounds good if I want a sandwich that's filling & fast. This location is about 10 mins from the Strip. Definitely was a great spot to have lunch on our way out from Vegas. Sandwiches are great. I have my usual's, but need to try more. There are several Capriotti's locations. This Shop is small with some tables both inside & outside. Service was good. The gal at the front taking my order was helpful & knowledgeable. Whatever was cook'n smelled great as they were making it. Food was good as we inhaled it while watching "Friends" playing on TV. (This was a couple of days before Chandler's passing :/ RIP). And my BBQ Chicken salad that I took To-Go, held up just in time for dinner. Will be back :D

Yelp
So much better than a Subway, I know I'm not setting the bar too high but everyone has been to Subway so it is a good frame of reference. I had a basic sub that was so big it seemed like I was getting two sandwiches for the price of one, so big that I couldn't finish it in one setting and I can eat. Meat was good and there was plenty of it vegies were fresh and crisp my partner had a equally good salad. The service was fast and friendly seemed like the kind of place that is a one off not a chain.
google avatar

Syrus L.

Yelp
One can always count on fresh ingredients. Never an issue, always cooked / made to specification.
google avatar

Yelp
The top is the grilled Italian I ordered and the sloppy soggy breaded mess with wilted tomato on the bottom is what I got. Nope! Never again...
google avatar

Agnes G.

Yelp
The service was great. The ambiance inside was okay. Overall, the Bobble sandwich was fine, except my boyfriend found a large, thin turkey bone. He was thankful that he did not choke or broke a tooth.

Tina D.

Yelp
well I only go here if I'm desperate, I've been 2x and I have the same problem. the staff is friendly so they are no the problem. The problem is the same as firehouse subs , we can't see you make the sandwich . if you have a clear window we can see if more mayo is needed or throw in more tomatoes , or more oil or vinegar. I can't see what I'm eating. Saying all that. I love Jersey Mikes!!! I can see them make my sandwich
google avatar

Omayra O.

Yelp
We ordered late night sandwiches for delivery through Grub Hub. The delivery itself wasn't great, but none the less, the sandwiches were on point. I got a vegetarian Philly cheese steak, which was amazing, and everyone else scarfed down their sandwiches, so I think they liked them! This was a great choice in a pinch.
google avatar

Kenia G.

Yelp
First time eating and absolutely loved the sandwich. The salad however wasn't good, but I'm sure they have some good ones on the menu. I will def go back and eat the sandwich I enjoyed no doubt.

Melvin P.

Yelp
I wanted a sandwich and they make good sandwiches. Cashier did double duty. Took order and also made the sandwich. I asked about the variety of chips and she said she liked a particular one. She was right it went well with the sandwich.
google avatar

Mark C.

Yelp
Never received our order . It was definitely not delivered to me . Double checked everything and everyone
google avatar

Greg D.

Yelp
It was soo good, the only thing I'm looking forward to on my next visit to vegas!! I ordered the roast beef, next time I'll get their signature sandwich
google avatar

Derrick G.

Yelp
Capriotti's serves great sandwiches. The Wagyu cheesesteak is one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had. The meat was very tender and sandwich full of flavor. The staff at Capriotti's are incredible. Eric went above-and-beyond providing me remarkable customer service, and the rest of the staff were courteous and helpful. I will definitely return to this sandwich shop.
google avatar

James W.

Yelp
So I usually get a 18" Bobbie every day off and I love it, until recently, they decided to add "Hot" to the sandwich, meaning they put the turkey on the grill. Sounded ok I guess. When I got the sandwich it's obvious they just put the whole sandwich into the oven and bake it! Turkey is already naturally dry, so I add extra mayo, no problem, but now it's on the verge of chewy! The whole sandwich is dry and warm. Top of the stuffing is crispy. Finally, who wants hot cranberry sauce!? It's a disaster and door dash only refunded me 5$ 40$ order. I tried eating it and after a few bites I'm not hungry anymore. Please stop.

Yelp
Very disappointing. I enjoy Capriotti's too. It was late night. I ordered a vegan chickensteak sandwich. Something on the grill started to burn because the restaurant fogged up with smoke. I don't think it was mine. Lol. The sandwich doesn't come with any sauce whatsoever. Everything, including the veggies was extremely dry. This has nothing to do with it being vegan & everything to so with the way it's cooked. SIDE NOTE; I have eaten other things on the menu, & I feel the same about those items too. Regarding service, it was below the bare minimum. I even tipped 20%. It was 2am (they close at 3am) & it is most certainly possible they were feeling the end of their shift. Nevertheless, service is service. Overall, it's a craving I get once in a blue moon so not sure when I'll be back. When I do, it'll probably be a different location.
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
The Italian hoagie, the Cole Turkey, The Bobbie and the Homemade Turkey are so freaking good. This location is open late and 3am on the weekends which is nice and only a mile from strip. Definitely a doable walk. Friendly staff and again these hoagies are legit.
google avatar

Shantell D.

Yelp
Irritating getting my order wrong again 2 pieces of lettuce no mayo !!!!! And then put peppers on here wtfffffff .. I put my own mayo in the pic not then
google avatar

David D.

Yelp
Not what I was expecting. The restaurant was run down and looked dirty. I was expecting something brighter and nicer. They were blasting gangster rap so we took our sandwiches outside. I shared their famous Bobbie sandwich with my daughter and it was really good. Too good to be honest. I am diabetic and if I had finished my half I would have been in trouble. The cranberry sauce is very sweet. My wife got the vegetarian sandwich and it sucked.
google avatar

Gregg N.

Yelp
Stopped by and built my own salad. It was pretty good. The last time I came here, I had a sandwich. This time... a salad. I think it was called a Cap's Creation. The staff was nice too
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
Ordered a "half" sized meatball sub. It was about 4 1/2 to 5 inches at most. The cost was almost 9 dollars. The meatballs looked undercooked. Sort of raw inside. I hope I don't get sick!!
google avatar

Cynthia C.

Yelp
My first experience today. I ordered the classic cheesesteak. It was good. Great Vibe.

Chris P.

Yelp
Food was good. I bit a piece of bone in my Bobbie sandwich. Luckily I was chewing slowly
google avatar

Annie B.

Yelp
-Food- 3.5/5! It was good enough to go back twice and try another sandwich! I tried the Capastrami and then the steak and cheese sandwich. The steak and cheese sandwich was way better. I wish the Capastrami sandwich had more colseslaw and basically everything else besides the meat. The meat was overpowering so I got tired of the sandwich midway. Highly recommend ordering the steak and cheese sandwich though! -Service- The cashier lady was very friendly asking us where we were from etc! -Looks- It fits the typical sandwich shop look and feel! Nothing too special! There's plenty of indoor seating and some tables outside. The tables inside though weren't the cleanest, so we had to wipe them down ourselves...

Elli A.

Yelp
I'm gonna keep it straight. I HATE vegas. I was having a horrible day. I walked here to get a sandwich and rejuvenate and not only was the service awesome and fast, they were super friendly and help us out letting us use their jumper cables. i'm not sure what his name was but he was awesome. BTW SANDWHICH 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I GOT A LARGE BOBBI SANDWICH
google avatar

Thomas H.

Yelp
I'm half Italian from New York so I am generally pretty tough on rating meatball subs. I got into town late and wanted a quick bite and decided to give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised by helpful staff and a good meatball sub. The meatballs were flavorful and moist. The sauce was tangy but not acidic and the roll was soft but strong enough to keep it all together. It's a sandwich shop so the decor and ambience are what you would expect. Prices are reasonable and I like that they offer four different sizes. That's a great way to watch dollars and calories! Molto Bene Capriotti's! Grazie!

Yelp
Only 1 word can describe our experience at this location Sunday night before Labor Day; SUCKS! I'm being nice with my choice of vocabulary too. My son really wanted a Bobbie to take on our drive home since the chain has been closing franchises in SoCal left and right. We ordered from this location because it was the only one open late. The online order said it would be ready in 18 minutes. That gave us time to gas up and drive over to Paradise to pick it up. What was waiting for us reminded me of those movies where a disaster like a meteor strike or tidal wave is coming and everyone is madly trying to escape town. A mob of people overflowing outside the shop waiting for their food. Inside, you had one manager working the register and occasionally helping to prepare food and a visibly irate and stressed worker trying to catch up while cursing while the manager laughed. No worker should be treated like this and I understand why he was cursing up a storm. I'm amazed he didn't tell his boss to shove it and walk out. Much respect to this guy who still managed to prepare decent sandwiches. Props! Now Vegas has been in the 90s in the evenings so if you were waiting an additional 40 minutes like we did and couldn't find a spot inside to wait, that makes for an even more excruciating experience. Whoever does the staffing at this shop needs to be fired as soon as possible and the poor worker needs a generous raise. If you haven't guessed by now, we will NEVER return to this location. McDonald's never looked so good. We love Capriotti's but not enough to go through this again. The only reason this is a 2 star rating is because of the worker and his superhuman ability to make decent food under these conditions. The manager...I'd better not comment since I'm trying really hard to be nice.
google avatar

Vivek B.

Yelp
My impossible sub was next to impossible in the taste level. I was simply amazed by the freshness and taste of the sub. It was super hot, fresh out of the oven and it tasted fantabulous with hot sauce. This chain is not anywhere close where i live, but i would definitely go back to them when i am in vegas again.... Seriously, Wich Wich / Subway / Photos hotdog or any other sub/ sandwich is not even close to what Capriotti's has to offer
google avatar

Morgan H.

Yelp
This place should be ashamed. The entire restaurant was empty except for me and one other man in line behind me, so not busy. It took 25 minutes to be handed my sandwich from the time paying for my order. They have one employee working the cashier and cook side of things. I understand cutting costs but at the expense of what? Finally I get my sandwich and begin to eat it on the way to work, when I bite in it's all bread! I open it up to find maybe 4 small square pieces of chicken.... So not only are they understaffed, it takes 25 minutes to make one sandwich, but there was almost no meat! Cutting costs is understandable but my entire experience at this location was dog dooky. I will probably not return. Come here if you like carb and condiment sandwiches
google avatar

Tori R.

Yelp
I ordered the ltalian, it is flavorless and dry, and there is hardly any meat. I taste no oil. There is no dressing of any kind. I literally feel like I am eating a dry lettuce sandwich. Do not order this, I have never had to give a bad review, I hope to never give another place one
google avatar

Marie F.

Yelp
Nice sandwich shop in a shopping area filled with food options. Good sandwiches but nothing really special to warrant higher prices. Tried the classic cheesesteak and The Bobbie (Hot). Preferred the hot Bobbie. Really liked the taste combo. Two medium sandwiches were $27. Once unwrapped, the sandwiches looked unimpressive. At least they tasted good.

Cre B.

Yelp
Super fast, super clean, super friendly, warm, welcoming environment, and the food was amazing. I got the Philly cheesesteak. My husband got the Wagyu with a dip and he also got the Italian sub and of course I tasted everything and they were all super delicious. Thank you Capriottis for being famously delicious
google avatar

Sky T.

Yelp
You can get an 18" Cheesesteak at this chain restaurant. Yes, in this case, size does matter. Lol, I think it's a pretty decent chain when you want to get your cheesesteak fix. They have classic beef and chicken, turkey, and veggie options. Pretty much choose your base and turn it into a cheesesteak! The 18" is great for sharing with one or two others. Good for late night snacking! This particular location is opened up late (3 am on weekends and 1 am weekdays). So, definitely hit it up if you're need it!
google avatar

Thomas D.

Yelp
Capriotti's, to me is always a great choice for any sandwich. However for soups, depending on the location, varies. For instance this location only offers one variety of soups, while other locations like the one up In Aliante offers 3. Capriotti's Wagyu Steak sandwiches are my go to, like today. Great sandwich!! I do feel like I need to babysit the sandwich making process because when you say "drench with oul/vinegar" it doesn't happen. However today, they got it right...the perfect sandwich was made by someone who was unaware that she created a fantastic sandwich. This a tiny shop with limited seating and can be crowded depending on time of day.

Fred K.

Yelp
95% of the time, I order a Bobbie, the service is always great, and the place has always been clean and cheerful.
google avatar

Alan L.

Yelp
Reasonable sandwiches. I stopped here on my way to the airport. Their Italian Sub was a better snack on my flight than anything offered by the airline. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Kelly G.

Yelp
I lived in LV for two years back in 1998-2000. I still cant get "The Bobbie" out of my head. Thanksgiving on a roll! Every day after thanksgiving i attempt to recreate the experience on my own. Nothing like Capriotti's.
google avatar

Cindy T.

Yelp
Just as amazing as my favorite nyc deli made sandwiches I missed so much until now ! Very happy I found Capriottis

Isis D.

Yelp
That thanks giving sandwich is so delicious and I don't even like cranberry sauce or turkey. Staff and vibe is chill
google avatar

Alan A.

Yelp
i usually dont order from this location but today ii ordered the capistrami and the cheesesteak. taste is def not the same i felt it was missing something. looks like the sandwich had way less meat and toppings than before. the cheesesteak was pretty dry.....im willing to pay more if i got a exceptional sandwich. but the the sandwiches were subpar today for the price...$18 dollars per sandwich is alot to me for a sandwich....thats two loaded pizzas lol....i do realize costs have gone up and meat is expensive....but i dont think u should skimp on the portions. keep the recipe thats made u great and raise the prices. hopefully i just got a bad batch i will try again
google avatar

Eric H.

Yelp
Ordered this late on my first night in Vegas and was very disappointed despite excellent looking sandwiches in the menu pictures. I ordered the Veggie Chicken Cheesesteak and this has to be the most unflavored, bland sandwich I've ever eaten. The veggie chicken was so dry and not seasoned it almost tasted like they bought it from the grocery store, opened up the package, and threw it on the sandwich without any preparation.....I could have done that for about $14 less! Price was definitely not worth the value at almost $15. I could see if this was weak and cheap but cmon y'all really? No sauce, barely any cheese, I could go on but I won't. And I also won't be ordering another sandwich from here.
google avatar

Ernie C.

Yelp
Sandwich was good but man was it $13.00 for just the sandwich! I work in the are and I can't be paying $13 for a sandwich everyday! If you add a drink and some chips, you'd be paying like 15 bucks! I didn't know they had the "tourist markup" here. But now that I do know, I ain't coming back here. I would say to the locals, don't look for any local discounts here because they didn't offer. Go to another location with regular prices.

Kelsy A.

Yelp
Improperly trained staff led to a huge backup in people getting their orders. On top of this, they kept getting people's orders wrong. Customers had to come back and tell the cooks. Bummer! Also been going to Capriotti's for a while now and their food quality has gone down. I am reconsidering coming back to any Capriotti's because of this experience. I'm not convinced that their food quality will be like it used to. I got a sandwich that had 3/4 coleslaw and 1/4 turkey in the Cole Turkey sandwich.
google avatar

Lonnie J.

Yelp
asked for hot very light mayo and cranberry on the side and got none of it. yes i did order online though yelp. but that's no excuse!!
google avatar

Nicholas B.

Yelp
Delicious food and the staff were friendly. A busy parking lot but enough spaces. Prices are good and you can choose many different sizes which is nice for a sub shop because you only pay for what you need. The Thanksgiving sub is outstanding.
google avatar

A R.

Yelp
Wow Amazing sandwiches here. Visited Vegas and we tried Capriotti's. The bread is SO FRESH. Unique and mouthwatering options were refreshing to see. The Bobbie is so good , all the Turkey subs were delicious and have REAL TURKEY . No filler deli meats here !! Nice !!
google avatar

Rose Ann H.

Yelp
The first time I ordered from Grubhub. This sandwich shop . I frequent many times as a walk in but ordering online I was a little concerned. They never fails I love this place.I love the Bobby I love everything about their sandwiches. They're always fresh no matter in the store or by Grubhub.
google avatar

Yelena B.

Yelp
I've ordered Philly Cheese steak sandwich, loaded, with everything for $25 at T-Mobile Arena and this is what I've got! Look at the picture, not loaded! Just meat and cheese and 1 piece of onion! When I approached a cashier few minutes later, she kept telling me it's loaded and there are veggies in here. She could say they made mistake and gave me wrong sandwich, the place one, instead she kept insisting they did nothing wrong! For $25 I want it loaded! Thumbs down for service guys! Shame on you! You need to train your staff better how to handle these kind of situations!
