First time here, I've seen vids saying this place is good. I got the Papa's pastrami sandwich, probably the worst pastrami sandwich I've ever had, the "pastrami" was fricken lunch meat. The bread was good but for $18 without tip, I want my money back.

All I can say is WOW! Sometime ago we got a coupon and we came and decided we wanted to sit and eat, so today 2/5 we decided to go and boy o boy what great food friendly employees. My hubbs had the Reubens Reuben and I had papa's pastrami with onion rings. Sooo fresh and hot we ate out front and gorgeous ourselves. I highly recommend as a date night with your significant other. Get sandwiches find a place to park and enjoy the goodness

Very large breakfast burritos! Tried this place out, coming from exclusively having Phanny's breakfast burritos in redondo beach. The burritos are definitely bigger for about the same price and they are good, but I would still prefer phanny's. It's definitely a great option though. Parking lot is super small, all spots posted as "10 minute parking."

Passed by this place lots of times and decided to get a breakfast burrito based on the positive Google reviews. Ordered the Rise and Shine burrito with ham. Had to ask the guy at the counter for salsa otherwise none wouldve been added to the bag. Its a pretty large burrito, however the ham was diced and the burrito was mostly all cheese and potato😥 Live and learn.... 3 stars

Convenient location and inviting storefront caused me to stop by to check out the menu here at Cap and Cork. It looks to be expecting and has a lot of “coming soon” options as well as an extensive menu. I tried the Rise and Shine burrito and asked for hot and mild salsa. Great service and friendly staff made it a positive experience. Recommend!

My experience here was pretty good, got the #1 sub called the captains club and the sandwich was a bit pricey but it was very delicious and really great! Tasted really good and got a few beers as well, descent selection and service was great but yeah I definitely recommend the sandwich I got it was worth it

This was our first visit and we really didn't know what to expect. This is a true liquor store with a great little sandwich/deli counter. They have a good selection of sub sandwiches (both hot and cold) and burritos. They stuff the sandwiches and burritos and they are really good....so you will get your money's worth and won't be disappointed. There's no dining in....so I would recommend ordering ahead and picking up your order to go. But we only waited about 10 minutes for our stuff. We'll definitely be back.

First thoughts... AMAZING!! The best breakfast sandwich I've had to date, it was very filling and hit the spot!! I always pass by and I decided to see what the hype was about. The menu has a variety of options to choose from and after a long debate I went with the Wakey Wakey. This breakfast sandwich is on a golden buttery texas toast style bread, the egg was super fluffy and you can add to your sandwich or take away from it, your choice. The options are unlimited and I say "STACK IT UP" the bigger the better right. Another plus.. inside there's a convenient store so you have your choice of drink options available and snacks...a one stop shop and who doesn't like one stop shops lol. If you're in the city of Torrance you must swing by and feast your taste buds on Caps & Corks, you will not be sorry!

I was dying for tacos and/or burritos from Tom's Tacos ( or bootleg Tito's as I call it) but as I checked Yelp for the phone number after my ENT appointment, I found that they aren't open on Mondays. Bummer. What to do? Caps and Corks was a couple of blocks away so I'd have to shift gears and make a new plan. After a quick glance at the menu and a call home to the wife, we decided to order Super Wakey breakfast sandwiches. Loaded with tons of scrambled eggs, hash browns, American cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and sausage on grilled Texas Toast, the sandwiches were gargantuan. More than worth $11.75. My only complaint was the sausage wasn't very flavorful so bacon would have been a better choice to add a bit of saltiness to the mix. As I was waiting, I saw a Snickers flavored iced coffee that sounded interesting but turned out to be disappointing. There was nothing Snickerish about it. I wish they carried Nestle's Quick which is what I actually wanted but there was none to found. I did see 1.75 liter globes of a chili mango cocktail but had no desire to abuse my liver today. Service is always friendly and quick when you call in your order. Never had any problems so far. I do wish they would have thrown in a couple of cups of salsa though. Caps is always good for a quick bite to eat in the Torrance area. Now I just need to get back to Tom's for those darn tacos.

This place is truly a hidden gem! From the outside, it's very unassuming--you wouldn't guess they have such a fantastic kitchen inside. I highly recommend the food here; everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The inside is modern and welcoming, and the portions are generous, which is always a plus. It's the perfect spot to grab sandwiches for a beach day or a picnic. Whether you're dining in or taking it to-go, you won't be disappointed. Definitely worth checking out!

Was hoping to like this place more but was underwhelmed by the food. While the sandwich looked big in the wrapper, there was barely any pastrami inside. For the price, I didn't think it was worth it.

Torrance Food Crawl #421 Caps & Corks is equally split between a sandwich shop and a liquor store selling drinks and snacks. The sandwiches are first-rate. There is a nice variety of different sandwiches. The sandwiches were all large-sized, with plenty of fillings. All the sandwiches were great. C&C also has Mexican and breakfast items. The burritos and quesadillas were filling. The Rise and Shine Burrito was on the dry side and needed some salsa added to it. The LA Street Dog had a little too much in the way of red peppers and onions but was good otherwise. The breakfast items are the only downside here, but only slightly so. The Super Wakey Sandwich had lots of fillings but was on the moist side and became finger food by the time I finished. If you use a credit card, there will be a 3.5% service fee (59¢ minimum). Also, please note that there are two tip jars on the counter, one for the cashier and one for the cooks.

I liked the lean cut of the pastrami and the overall flavor. If you don't like your bread toasted, the warm soft bread served here is so good. The mayo and mustard ratio in the sandwich were good but I wish the sandwich meat was cut a little thinner.

Food is great, but inconsistent. The best place in town to get breakfast all day, great drink selection, cool stuff. This place is notorious for giving you HUGE portions, I've never finished a burrito in one sitting, until today. I ordered a 2-meat Rise and Shine Burrito via their website on 10/10 and it was about 60-70% of what I usually receive. It was shorter and less round than usual, and upon opening, was filled with way less. I requested sauces in both the check off options and in the optional comments, and did not receive any. I ordered the same burrito on 9/28 in person, and it was noticeably fuller - pictures attached. I'm disappointed by this fluctuation as I paid close to $15 for this burrito with 30-40% less food than usual. I have hopes this issue will be rectified, as I want to continue coming here with consistency.

Menu is outdated, I asked the person at the cashier for a certain burrito and had an attitude about their menu being updated and irritated cause I looked confused, I told the person that I was looking at their website and thats why I asked for that specific burrito. Proceeds to answer the phone to take another persons order. Welp I never went back, burrito was okay. Place is clean being that it was recently opened.

I had this a while ago. It was not very memorable. I tried the Marvelous Mar. Overpriced for taste and value. Maybe I will try a different sandwich if I try again.

Was finally in the area to give this spot a try, had been bookmarked for months after seeing a foodie post. Yo, dont sleep on this deli. On the outside it looks like a little Craft Beer Liquor store, its so much more than that. The deli offers hot & cold samiches and burritos. Dont care to try tacos from these type of spots. Ill till you what... the Philthy Philly Cheesesteak Samich was fire. Piping hot off the grill, smothered with onions and peppers. Bread is supe soft and little toasty on the outside, its done right. Cant speak for the rest of the lineup, the cheesesteak was bussin tho. Beer selection was decent, i grabbed some beers from local breweries, Torrance has quite a few local brewers. No cap tho, was expecting more beer selection, no sours in stock that I saw. Pro Tip: Call ahead to avoid the 10-15 min wait, but eat there or at your car. Samich will get soggy by the time u get home.

Our new go to breakfast burrito and sandwhich shop!! Oh my yum!!!! The breakfast burritos are so so good, the eggs are nice and fluffy and never over cooked, the hash-browns are also perfectly cooked- you can also really customize whatever you want for the breakfast burritos. And the sandwiches are like a sandwhich you've never had before. We have never dined in, only ordered to go- but the service has been consistently delicious!! Love this spot.

First time spent $83 on chicken strips, Philly and a sandwich also some onion rings and ipa we picked up very very greasy onion rings and Philly... never had a Philly so greasy. I just can't wrap my head on greasy food and price threw half away very disappointed.

I was craving a pastrami and tried their phat Albert. I wish the peppercini made more of a presence. Their breakfast burrito had a very intense kick but the peppercini in the pastrami sub was underwhelming. I also wish the sandwiches had more flavor, it lacked the punch I was expecting after waiting over 15-20 min for our order. The wait can really take a long time. There's no seating inside, it's an express to go spot only, with a few spots outside that are limited to 10 minutes even though their sandwiches take way longer than 10 minutes to receive after waiting in line to order then for the food to be made.

Some foodie on the gram hyped this spot up. While parking I saw this big security dude. The surrounding area Definitely didn't give me the vibe that security was needed at 9:30am. Nonetheless I had my head on a swivel, just in case. I had no game plan so I asked the cashier what she recommended and that's what I got, a breakfast burrito with sausage and bacon and a side of their hot sauce. With the behemoth security looming over my shoulder I felt the need to defuse any concerns he had so I asked him if there was a restroom here. He said no and he also said he wasn't security here. all that anxiety for nothing. Order came quick that burrito was big. And I loved how they crisped up the outside. They didn't skimp on the meat the first bite was solid with the perfect amount of cheese potatoe bacon and sausage. The next bite got the red sauce and that sauce took it from 3.5 to 4.0! It's all about that red sauce. I'm definitely coming back if I'm in the area!

Oliver thanks for your suggestions of the popular sandwiches- Philthy Philly Cheesesteak and Phat Albert- I see you are a master at knowing the TOP sandwiches!! I opted for the BIG JOHN STUD - it's chocked full of fine cuts of pastrami and turkey, mayo, mustard, finely shredded lettuce, thinly sliced onions and tomatoes, pickles, pepperoncini and choice of cheese. For those who imbibe there is an assortment of alcoholic beverages to try!! Come on down and grab a bite to eat and something to drink!!!

What a sandwich! For the price it is a hefty and filling sandwich that makes you wish you can eat it all over again. Very delicious and whichever sandwich you get is for sure going to have a lot of the listed meats and veggies. The Hanky Panky was a mix of delicious meats that went so well together. Co workers came here for lunch so I'm not sure how the inside of the store is but I can't wait to come back and try different items out!

Never again. I saw the cashier had the cooks cash with their gloves on in the kitchen!! Called ahead and was told 10-15 min wait, i show up at 10 minutes and checking in w the cashier. I end up waiting in the store for 20 min before i check on my order again and its sitting on the counter at room temp. Fries are bland and dry and over priced. Veggie burger is fine flavor but very soft texture. Very frustrated. I wish i left sooner and didnt pay for this food.

Called in and placed an order to pick up. The person on the phone was able to get our order down pretty easily. I got the Italian sandwich and it was pretty good. I wasn't fully blown away but it was a good sandwich and I got full just eating half of it so the portions were great. We also tried the double cheese burger and it was also a great portion and pretty good. But again nothing amazing. Overall, a good place to stop and pick up a quick and good sized lunch.

The staff are super friendly, the prices are very decent for the amount of food you get and will have you returning again and again. I love the Rise and Shine breakfast burrito, comes with eggs, hash browns and cheese with your choice of meat to be added. All that for $11.00, if you prefer no meat than it's $9.50....not a bad price at all! I usually splurge and for $2.00 more have avocado added!! Yum!!! Now, it's no skimpy burrito, they have that burrito full with all that yumminess, there is no skimping! You definitely get your money's worth! They offer other items on their menu and they all sound good, and I have been told their street tacos are really good, that just might be my next purchase. I highly recommend when you're in the area to stop by and try!!!

I swear to god I'm here every week lol I usually order the breakfast burrito with sausage and bacon and it's a 10/10 every single time! They definitely don't skimp so come with an empty stomach. There aren't any seats inside so it's an eat in the car or home kind of deal. Service is good and I love how they have other drink options inside the store. Overall, definitely recommend coming here and like I said, I'm here weekly so I can contest that this place is that good lol.

My kid had a breakfast burrito "of (her) dreams" here. Bacon breakfast burrito with mild (green) salsa. The salsa was flavorful and had a nice little heat kick. I can't eat eggs but it smelled delicious, and portions are generous. The service was quick and easy but there is a surcharge added if you use a card. I would bring cash next time. I dig that you can buy drinks, candy, and snacks too and the menu has a wide range of options that I would like to try like hot dogs or sandwiches. For adults who want booze, lots of alcoholic beverage options and some mixers.

For a 15$ Sandwich it's nothing special. It's average. Lot of bread, not a lot of meat and cheese. Had the Italian Sandwich. I'm going back to try the Philly Cheesesteak and a Breakfast Burrito and will adjust my review at that time bit as far as a cold sandwich goes, it's good. Not great. Doesn't stand out. They have great sandwiches. I got the hanky panky, the captain, the big john, and the captains club so far. All were good. Large sandwiches on soft rolls, packed with good meats and cheeses and dressings. Nothing too out of this world as far as unique dressings, off the wall cheeses, meats, etc. and so forth but they do solid sandwiches, with good ingredients really well.

The Italian Job - so delish with a good spicy tang. These sandos are so big and filling - it's a very hearty meal and doesn't disappoint. Extra 5000 bonus points for John the owner - initially there was a small mishap with my order the first time I came here. I sent some constructive feedback just so that he could be aware (running a business is hard yall) and he was SO quick to reply and had the best manners. Good customer service goes a looooong way and seeing how he was, I could see why this place is so popular and doing so well! Can't wait to come back. Good thing they sell tons of chips here too cause they pair so well with a sando!!

Great craft brew selection. Tasty breakfast burritos. Excellent breakfast sandwiches. I love the hot sandwiches at lunchtime! Call ahead, they'll have your order ready when you pull up.

Very delicious Philly Cheesecake sandwich and I'm picky with my cheesesteaks! My friends enjoyed their breakfast burritos and the bitch burger very much! Everything had great flavor and was seasoned well. I also appreciate their tots which were the right crunch and flavor. They also took the time to wrap and pack everything perfectly. Will definitely try them again!

Really wanted to like this place. My wife loves the super wakey. I had an Italian job. A good sandwich is all about the bread. And this place doesn't have it. Bread was dry and a bit stale. BMT from subway is better. Perhaps just an off day. I'll try it again at some point, but I was very unimpressed.

My wife loved the Asado tacos. The asado burrito had more steak than any burrito I have ever gotten. Very flavorful; green salsa is a great addition. My kid got the breakfast burritto and really liked it for 2 meals. Pretty solid food here.

I ordered the Hanky Panky with Provolone cheese and extra meat. It was good. Glad I ordered with extra meat. If you love a meaty sandwich like me, id go with extra meat. The ratio of ingredients was ideal I think. I'd recommend this place. Came out to about 18bucks pretax.

When we first walked in this establishment was clean it wasn't cluttered. They greeted us when we came in. I ordered the Billy cheesesteak breakfast burrito. My boyfriend ordered the pastrami breakfast burrito. both burritos were very large and filled with meat cheese eggs I had onions on mine the pastrami flavor was perfect.

My family gave you TWO tries and you failed us twice. The employees were so rude and snarky and damn lazy that I'm not wasting my time here anymore. Why can't you hire cashiers that aren't complete a-holes to the customers? We're done. Brother's Burritos and Mickey's are way better anyway.

Drinks are nice and cold in the fridge, snacks are plenty to choose from, and the staff is great at helping you pick something out if you're stuck between choices. Ambiance is typical for a convenience store. One thing i wanna say about this store is that they definitely make a mean breakfast burrito. Definitely come in and try their hot/cold sandwiches. Worth it 10/10
