Captain Bizzaro's Treasure World

Giving this store five stars despite the last bit of my encounter with the owner. It left me feeling confused and honestly hurt and somewhat deterred from wanting to start a collection. I chatted with the owner and was extremely happy with our conversation. He gave me excellent advice saying that I should just start a shelf to figure out what it was I wanted to collect. I thought it was excellent advice because sometimes chosing is a hard thing to do and I can be very indecisive. I was with my partner and we were running late to a wedding, but I was going to stop by the following day after thinking on a few things…but when I waved goodbye on my way out the owner rudely said “oh thanks for supporting my small business—oh wait never mind you didn’t.” As I walked out the door. I just was in a time crunch and wanted to think about a few of the items but the tone really made me think twice. Despite this I highly recommend this place, it’s a unique little treasure trove great for collectors. Peace and love and good luck.

Tim is a gem of a human. Years ago, he told me about a place along the grand river where you can still find buttons from an old factory that was once there. I followed his directions and sure enough! My dad and I will always have memories of that. Stop into Treasure World and ask him about it!

Way cool. Lots of unique stuff: vintage clothing, pop culture, LPs, VHS tapes, costumes, mannequins, and so much more fun and unique items. I hadn't been in the store for five years and found it even more fun than before. I'm proud of you lil' bro for creating such a place and making it into a gift to your community and in line with your own soul and spirit. Vaya con Dios, mi hermano. Spread the word mis amigos. This place is amazing The owner is such a sweet human and made me and my friends feel so welcome! He offered us water, gave us a snack! Definitely recommend this magnificent store! We spent 2 hours looking at just jewelry and clothing! There are so many amazing finds here. Will be back!

Tim, the owner, was one hell of a dude with a wicked personality and a real talent for finding oddities, knick knacks and incredible records/patches/pins. Please visit if you're ever in town, or if you live here, go all the time!

You have to check out this awesome little shop. Antiques, memorabilia, vintage items, and just plain fun items to look through. 😀 The owner is a great conversationalist. I really enjoyed our interaction. Stop in, and look around, so many items to bring out the kid, rock star, or collector in everyone.

last summer my friends from out of state came to visit and we stopped by the shop since one of us from gr said they loved the store. we all came in and my boyfriend asked to use the restroom about a minute after walking in. the owner simply said “no, actually we’re closing” and kicked us all out. it was the middle of the day and they still had about three hours before close. after reading some other recent reviews of similar situations, it seems like the owner was paranoid about us stealing while my bf used the bathroom and therefore kicked us out. this is SO incredibly unprofessional as a business owner and as someone who has worked retail before, i know this is not how you are supposed to treat suspected thieves. if you are really that worried about people stealing, get security cameras. if customers ask, tell them you don’t have a public restroom. you cannot hover and be aggressive towards your customers for no apparent reason. people will go into stores just to use the bathroom if they are walking down the street. people will window shop. if you can’t handle treating your customers with respect, you shouldn’t even run a business to begin with.

Captain Harassment and his Bizzaro world is not a place to visit. At the second we stepped in this business my family and I were treated like thieves. The owner let one of us use their restroom but then proceeded to hover over the door and harass them for taking to long. They also followed us out after and said very sarcastically "well at least you got to take a dump" then proceeded to lecture us saying that my family member didn't leave the fan on or spray fragrance. My family member has IBS and was very embarrassed. The owner then replied to a previous review that a friend of theirs got robbed a year back and he tried to say we were trying to do the same to him. We just wanted to see your store of overpriced crap and you basically made us leave because of your preconceived prejudice. Get a camera if you're so scared of someone stealing. Also grow up and understand you have a street store that is open to the public. It is not illegal for us to just look around old man.... Read through the reviews and you will see this isn't the first time he has treated his customers like this.

Amazing owner; kind, welcoming and incredibly knowledgable! Curation is on point. Best spot to find original albums/records, vintage leather and denim jackets, period pieces, vintage toys, and props! Highly recommend you check it out and enjoy the great vibes and collections

Ummm...wow. So this flea market lives up to it's name. There is seriously some random stuff for sale...jewelry, clothes, toys, collectibles, records, housewares, books, you name it...it might be here. Also random paper mache figures...tucked away to freak you out. The sales person/owner was really nice and knowledgeable but left us to browse. The place does have a lot of stuff but it's well displayed. Go and take a gander to see if they have anything you've been hunting for.

Walked in to this establishment was not greeted or acknowledged by the 2 workers that was there... as i walked around there wasnt anything that caught my eye. As i walked out without spending money than i was acknowledged and asked if it was something i was looking for I explained that it wasnt anything that sparked my interest and than he yelled and screamed at me saying what ever.. There was no need for the rudeness i feel if my skin was lighter than i would have been treated with more respect even if i didnt spend any money. People dont spend any money in this worthless box of a flea market... the guy is a racist!!!!

Came here yesterday and I loved it! The owner Tim was super nice and let us stay an hour after closing. Will definitely come back!
