Captain Candy is such a fun little spot! The store is bright, colorful, and super inviting—it’s like walking into a real-life candy treasure chest. They’ve got barrels full of gummies, chocolates, sour candy, and tons of international treats you don’t usually find in regular stores. Everything is sold by weight, so you can mix and match whatever you want. The quality of the candy is actually really good, and the selection is huge. It’s hard not to go overboard once you start filling up a bag. The pirate-themed setup is fun for all ages, and the store is super clean and well-organized. The staff are friendly and let you take your time without hovering, which I appreciated. It’s a great stop whether you’re a tourist or just craving something sweet. Definitely five stars.

Fantastic candy store! A wide variety of choices with self-serve bags. Everything is priced by weight. Swing by and take a look! Have fun. The prices were a bit high, but the experience inside was absolutely incredible! The staff pays close attention to the displays, and each one was arranged with great care! There’s a wonderful selection, and everything is well-covered, so you don’t need to stress about the little ones touching things.

I came here with my boyfriend and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere and theme is so adorable and so was the service. I didn’t get the name of the staff who helped us but it was a beautiful lady with medium length brown hair and a flow line tattoo on her arm and she made my day! She also gave great recommendations based on our preferences and let us sample the candy!

My kid loved it!! I'll come back soon. One of my favorite candy shops. The staff is so helpful and kind. 5 stars for a reason 👏

Excellent place. Every ounce of sweets as far as the eye can see. Dropped a bit of a sweet brick over there. As in a gummy brick. Hope the staff can clean that up. But you can bet I might be coming the next time in the hood. Just make sure you don't put the sweets that fall on the floor back into the containers! Much cleaner that way for all of us. 😉😘

Pretty cute new place, just opened at the end of October. I liked the theming, I feel like they really invested a lot into the business and the idea of it being a “captain/pirate” candy place with the candy being stored in barrels and the nets in the ceiling. The candy was good, they definitely had lots of interesting options and flavors. My favorite was the chocolate covered sandwich cookies.

Sweet for the eyes, extremely bitter for the wallet and the pocket. Very expensive, too costly. Just a few steps away, you’ll find a shop where you can get the same or better sweets or candies for $3. It's only worth entering to please the eyes, but nothing more.

Google
Wow lucky us, a real live candy shop. And it’s even pirate themed and reasonably priced. Hard to give kids certain simple life experiences i took for granted - now this is the flower of capitalism only the top earning walking streets get a candy shop anymore. Candy shops, toy shops, bookshops these disappeared after 2008 faster than dinosaurs after an asteroid strike. We’ll be back captain 🫡

Yelp
A fun and nostalgic candy shop in the main shopping area. They have tons of options and it's all set out beautifully! Super nice to walk through and very clean. The process are a bit steep per pound, but it's in the heart of the tourist shopping hot spots, so it's expected. They have my favorite strawberry sour belts!! Overall: B+ Cute nostalgia based candy shop, albeit pricey.

Yelp
It's a fun store for a quick walk-through, customer service acknowledge us. The entire store has a very varnish smell to it, the majority of the candy seems like it's been there a very long time and not likely fresh. It's about $6.50 for a quarter pound and the bag they give you is extremely hefty and probably weighs a quarter pound by itself. There is a fun variety so I definitely recommend taking a look but sample before purchase should be an option. The whole vibe is cute, everything's in a treasure chest or barrel, and a wood thing overall.

It is a must visit spot for candy lovers. They have a wide range of interesting and unique flavors and shapes that are pleasing to the eyes and your taste buds! Staff were friendly and answers all your questions about their products. Check it out!

Yelp
Pricing was a little steep but it was soooo amazing inside! The workers take great care in display and each display was meticulous! Great selection and everything was covered so you don't have to worry about the kiddos touching everything ! Very pirate vibe!

Yelp
This place was very cute. They had a lot of nostalgia candy and items I had never seen or heard of. The candy is on the higher side, but the quality is really good.

Yelp
Most expensive candy in the world!!! It's over $30 for a pound and everything they have there is really heavy to get you to spend more! The candy also wasn't even good. Extremely stale and it tasted like it's been sitting out for the past month. Although the atmosphere is cute I would not recommend going. Save your money and go somewhere better and less expensive!

Yelp
They had a great variety of unique and delicious chocolates! The cashiers were very welcoming and it was such a cool experience :)
