Captain Cookie & the Milk Man

This place should be on your bucket list. Locally sourced ice cream and fresh baked cookies. Imagine that combination! It is so good!!! I got the ice cream sandwich which I custom made. I ordered a chocolate cookie and funfetti and got cookies and cream ice cream for the center. My friend ordered chocolate chip cookies with chocolate ice cream center. Also they sell edible cookie dough which is a must try. Enjoy :)

"That's the way the cookie crumbles..." Not at Captain Cookies and The Milkman tho. no crumbly cookies--just soft warm cookies with a little crispness served here. Ice cream, milkshakes, local milk and more are also available...the chocolate chip cookie (~$3 each) is really good--reminded me a lot of sneaking a cookie fresh outta the oven as a kid and enjoying it til my mom came tearing after me. Joys of childhood! anyways, the cookies are bit on the small side.the staff is cool and work hard to keep the place looking presentable even on rainy days.

Best cookie place by far! I’d say other cookie joints have some competition on the rise. The workers are extremely kind and enthusiastic, the place is always clean and well stocked with drinks and delicious editable cookie dough! The ice cream is phenomenal and my personal favorite cookie is snickerdoodle but all of them are just as good! So lucky to be able to have Captain Cookie & the milkman here in NYC! I’m excited for more locations to pop up soon! :))

Cute little cookie shop that I didn’t realize also sold ice cream until I walked in! I got a mix of chocolate chip, double chocolate, and oatmeal raisin cookies. They were good, but nothing like the huge cookies at somewhere like Levain. The double chocolate one was a tad too bitter for my taste.

Amazing. The ice cream is incredible, very rich and creamy. The cookies were awesome too. And the people who work there were so kind and helpful — even as I grabbed my ice cream sandwich at 12am

Color changing spoons for the win!! Yummy chocolate chip cookie and vanilla ice cream. I only wish the cookie was served warm. Friendly customer service :)

Firstly, great name. Got an ice cream sandwich, and it was amazing- also a huge serving size. The guy working was incredibly friendly, which made my visit a really great experience. Highly recommend

Came here for the first time. Their store front marketing was very eye catching and was what drew me into the store. Kudos for that! Not sure what I expected going into the store, but it didn't excite me as the outside did. Cookie selection was small (only 8 choices), I don't think they rotate cookie flavors either. They had ice cream and raw cookie dough. There was a salted cookie dough, which I would have loved to try in a cookie form. I ordered the snicker doodle & chocolate chip ($2.75 each). They weren't big cookies, and didn't look like they were worth $2.75. But flavor-wise they were pretty good. They had a good chewy texture and I love how it wasn't to sweet. I was able to eat both cookies without having to chug a lot of water. And I do appreciate how their chocolate chip cookie wasn't filled with chocolate chips. I think this is the first cookie store that actually hit the flavor profile I look for in a cookie.
