A small venue but much fun! Service is always top notch here, as well as the food. Great live music that had everyone dancing with "THE OTHER BTOTHER'S".

Typical bar food and service a little slow but always busy when I'm there. It is a super fun and unique hangout. Lots of great music. They sponsor fund raisers, car shows, etc. Fun to sit beside the river with great friends and a drink listening to talented local and regional music.

Love this place, best patty melt ever! We go for lunch, not busy then, much more lively at night or weekends.

The outdoor setup is very casual and open. The canopies outside are a nice touch and provide extra shade during the hot summer months. A pontoon boat turned into a music stage is setup for bands to play, also outside, set up right next to the water at the entrance to the small Birdland Marina. The indoor bar itself is small but with the amount of room outside it really doesn't matter. A full bar inside with a nice selection of familiar domestic beers and regional microbrews. I will go back again for other bands or events, because overall it is a pretty cool place, and with it being right on the water there really isn't a lot of places around the area like that. Adult recess was the theme last night and it was pretty darn busy!!! I could see that being a regular thing there. It was my first time attending that event. A little more help serving drinks and a better method of getting drinks to customers would make things go a little more smoothly.

This Italian eggrolls was fire! I’ve never heard of it before so I was intrigued. I’m definitely a patio person and I love being by the water. Music is always good. 10/10

A small place & a little bit expensive but I have to say the food was very good. I ordered the patty melt with steak fries, my wife got the grilled cheese, & we shared some loaded tots & all of them were fantastic! They have a full bar for adult beverages & the bartender was friendly.

Fun bar that caters to bicycle riders, boaters and bikers. Festive environment with lots of outdoor seating. Live music is a key highlight. Bar service can be slow on show days.

It's an interesting place. I stopped here on a weekday and there was a pretty consistent flow of regulars, many of which were bicyclists detouring from the adjacent bike trail. The bartenders were friendly. I ordered a basic 1/3 lb burger, with no side, and a local craft beer for $15 + tip. The burger was fine. Their menu had a number of signature options. Most striking to me was the fried avocado slices, which I almost got out of curiosity. This seems like a good place to come for the scenic beauty of the DSM River, the regularly scheduled music events, outdoor yard games, and the community culture.
