Food was disappointing. The daily special stew soup tasted terrible. Lobster was okay but not worth the price. Sea bass steamed was average but turned to the best out of all I had ordered. Pork ribs were deeply fried getting dry and hard to chew. Roasted pigeons were not fresh and tasted not good either. The lady served our table tend to lead us ordering more but the food was really disappointing.

Google
Overall the food was delicious. We got two combos (5 dishes per combo) for $59 each and ordered two different kinds of noodles and squid tentacles. The pork chops, ribs, squid, seafood chow mein, and squid were yummy. The soup was bland. The server was a bit brash and was quick to clear out plates; however, she was attentive in checking to make sure we always had hot tea and brought out clean plates periodically.

Great price in their 9th year anniversary. Double lobster only $28.99. And 5 dish combo only $59. The food is delicious and definitely will comeback soon.

First time coming to this place. It was a bit difficult in finding parking. The utensils, bowls and plates were very dirty and greasy. We could see dried vegetables still stuck on the bowls. We ended up washing it ourselves, and even cleaned the table too. lol We ordered the following: 1. Sliced fish congee (good!) 2. Tofu with mixed vegetables (Tofu wasn't fresh. My husband and I ended up having diarrhea when we got home). 3. Stir fried choy sum with beef and garlic. (The beef was quite salty). 4. Conpoy with egg white fried rice (very good!) Service was quick and friendly, but they seem a bit understaffed. There's a lot on the menu. Dim sum, combo meals and lots more.

Google
The food was great, especially for its price. Tea/water was served immediately, then the soup/drink to choose when I ordered Lunch Special (not available on weekends/holidays fyi). Probably I was the first customer, and it took about 7~10 minutes for the food to come out. Great if you also know chinese, but it took me a bit to understand the accent. Otherwise, I think it was great for a quick simple meal with some drinks and soup. The only reason I gave 4 star, not 5, was because the soup didn't really match well with the food. The soup wasn't that bad at first, but I felt it pretty plain when I had it while eating main dishes.

This is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant in the GTA! The food is authentic, super flavorful, and the portions are huge. Their lunch special is amazing—only $11.99, and it even comes with soup! The atmosphere is great—spacious, clean, and with a really nice vibe. The staff are polite and friendly, which makes the experience even better. Honestly, if you’re craving delicious Chinese food at a great price, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Google
We had the fresh lobster (about 2.8 pounds) in green onion and ginger sauce. When they showed us the lobster, it only had one claw. When we asked if we could see another one or get one with both claws… a lost in translation and communication barrier happened where the waiter said don’t worry this lobster they picked is strong and taste good. We were skeptical but went with it since we were not getting anywhere with our questions. The lobster was cooked well but something was a miss. It was okay but not great lobster experience. On the other hand, the beef tenderloin in honey black pepper sauce + broccoli was delicious. The beef tenderloin was moist, sweet and savoury all packed into one package. Would definitely recommend this dish. The stir fried snow pea tips/leaves was fresh and crunchy. Perfectly cooked. The Yeung Chow fried rice with bbq pork and shrimp was delicious and good compliment to eat with the beef tenderloin and stir fried snow pea tips/leaves. Overall the non-seafood dishes were good. Lobster was a miss. Service was disappointing and difficult. If you are not a native Chinese speaker. Good luck! Heads up, they automatically include tip into your bill, even for a party of 2 which we thought was odd. It pretty much cheapened the overall dining experience.

Google
It was our first time dining in and we had a great experience with them. We ordered their steamed shrimp dumplings, chef’s special fried rice, pork rib and oyster with shell. Their staff are also pretty attentive thanks to Michelle and Angela!

Yelp
The food was just okay, but the service was disappointing. I asked for a bit more sauce for the chicken, and only found out later that I was charged an extra $2. There was no mention of an additional charge beforehand, and honestly, the original portion of sauce wasn't enough for the dish to begin with. When I questioned it, the staff said I should have asked whether there would be a charge before making any request. That's unreasonable--should customers have to ask whether there's a fee for everything, like napkins or water? Not a pleasant experience.

Yelp
Good to be back and it's still very impressive! Great "wok-hei", which is the stir-fried flavor from a well-heated pan/ wok, in their dishes. Have to mention their set dinner Combo A to H. Good value and great taste. Ask the friendly waitresses for more detail. Recommended.

Yelp
Went there for supper and ordered one of the Set Menu and Lobster e-mein. The Lobster e-mein was delicious, 10x better than Jumbo Lobster. The Herbal soup with Chicken Feet was also very good, but maybe not suitable for some patrons. The dinning area is spacious. Service was pretty good but I was taken aback when the bill came and I saw9 the waitress charged me $2 9extra for an extra tiny dish (a little bigger than a twooney)of ginger and onion paste for the chicken dish. Our bill was over $100 and she charged us $2 extra. I think that's very bad business! One other negative about the restaurant is excessive use of MSG in their dishes. Our mouths felt bitter and thirsty immediately after the meal and had to drink 2-3 glasses of water. So if you are allergic to MSG, AVOID this restaurant. Would i go again? Probably not!

Yelp
We came in Sunday afternoon for a birthday celebration dinner. It was quite empty so we got seated very fast. Inside decor is very Chinese with some cute details. We ordered a set menu with a 3lbs lobster, and ordered sweet and sour pork in addition addition. Overall the quality of dishes are above the average, but the portion size is very small, even for a 3lb lobster, it doesn't seem much different from a one pound lobster from other places, also we paid extra $10 for make the lobster in bifengtang style.

Yelp
Ordered take out from Captain's Catch to feed three adults for dinner. Fresh and large quantities which is great, the price is inline with most other Chinese restaurants and if you pay by cash or order online they have a discount. We truly enjoyed the lobster and e-fu noodles as well as the beef in black bean sauce ho fun noodle dish. Will return!

Yelp
Had high hopes for this place, came to get some congee and lobster with fried rice. Food was good on par with other places BUT the service was horrible. Place was trying to be fine dining yet they did not bring us tea or water, no vinegar or soya sauce, literally had to ask for everything. Wanted to order 2 smaller lobsters but she insisted on bringing us a larger one which was missing a claw. Kind of sneaky waitress who was dressed up like a flight attendant, was very awkward borderline rude. Kept offering my husband to order steamed oysters - had to tell her no 3 or 4 times because we only like raw oysters. He was being polite and asked how much they were she said $8 a piece. I told her no yet again but she was still standing there trying to get him to buy the oysters while we were trying to eat our lobster which now miraculously had 2 claws. Overall spent $140 left hungry and annoyed. They even brought us someone else's bill for $56 and then said they made a mistake and asked for a bigger tip. My husband didn't want to leave a tip for poor service but still ended up giving them something out of respect although if it were me paying I wouldn't give her a cent. Sneaky service is not cute and I hope if you are looking for similar type of food you will take your money elsewhere. Still trying to figure out where that second claw came from hahhaa

Yelp
I really enjoy this restaurant. Authentic Chinese cooking. Spacious and clean. Very friendly services and all food quality are pretty good. Fresh ingredients and well cook. Tasty good for big group gatherings and also they have small booths for 2 person. Easy parking outside. Fair price. Highly recommend

Yelp
Beware when served by George at Captain's Catch! He steered me towards a dish $10 more expensive than what I requested, citing similar names. Deceptive tactics, not what I expected from this establishment.

Yelp
Delicious food, fresh and authentic. Lost one star for portion size, could be better.

Yelp
I'm usually not that impressed with Chinese restaurants, due to the fact that I've eaten at many over my short lifetime. Captains catch was a pleasant dining experience at an affordable price. We can for a weekday dinner and the place was empty. We ordered some sweet and sour rice noodles, fish and tofu hotpot, pork jowl and green onion stir fry, veggies with garlic, and white rice. It was way more than enough for three people, and we ended up with two large boxes of takeout afterwards. Each dish was to a good standard and plentiful. My favourite was the pork jowl dish because it went so well with the rice. We had half the dish of noodles and still had a full box to take home. Generous portions at a good price.

Yelp
We were here on March 16, 2024 for dinner. There were 9 of us. The food was overall salty and average. The service was fine. Couple ladies were serving us in the private room. They were overly friendly and pushed us to try different dishes that were not good. We ordered two crabs and two big fishes. We decided to try 4 pieces of steamed fresh scallops; which they charged $75 for them! We thought our bills would be around $500. To our surprise, they overcharged everything and our bills total of $1100! They said if we pay cash they won't charge tax. When we gave them $1100, they just grabbed the money and still charged us tax. When we confronted the ladies they just ignored us. This place is a ripped off place. They shouldn't do this to customers. This will be our first and last time here!

Yelp
Nice, quiet place. Great service. Lot of portion. It was perfect deep-fried glazed chicken. Definitely, we'll come back!

Yelp
I've always wondered whether Captain's Catch would ever get reservations call that mistaken them to be a location of The Captain' Boil due to the similarities in their names. I guess I've never been nosy enough to ask the serving staff... but I've been here too many times to count since they opened their doors since 2016. Honestly despite all the Chinese restaurants out there, it's extremely difficult to find one that deliver quality on every visit. I'd dare to say Captain's Catch come as close to consistency imo; even an off day is not too bad. The nice thing about this place is they do offer many set menu with or without seafood at very good prices. Unlike a lot of Chinese restaurants they won't give you a dirty look if you don't order expensive seafood dishes. I tend to write long reviews anyway but if I try to talk about all the things I've tried here it would probably be an essay, so I'll highlight the best: Black vinegar pork chop - the right amount of crisp and the right amount of sauce. Not too sour and not too sweet. This dish had never disappointed. Stir fried diced chicken with cashew - some of you may say man that's a boring recommendation. But I personally believe that the most simple dishes are the most difficult to make well. If you are a garlic lover, you will love this dish. Chicken was not overly tenderized and cashew nuts remained crunchy. Chiu chow style pan fried egg - this dish is surprisingly good. Crispy on some of the edges and thick enough to give the eggs a certain fullness. Lobster - no matter if it's ginger and scallion or the spicy hk style sauce.... they always do it well. While they may not get the hype of other seafood places, they largely do a comparable job. Captain's Catch is one of my fam's go to Chinese restaurants. I won't ever claim it to be the best but I would promise consistent quality at pretty good pricing.

Yelp
I came to this place twice. The food quality was very inconsistent. The first time I came here with a group of people, we ordered the seafood combo for six. Everything was decent. The second time we visited with a friend and ordered a couple of a la carte items. They all tasted like a piece of paper. Another complaint about this place is that the floor is super slippery. I almost fell over during my each visit. So be careful when you visit this place.
google avatar

Yelp
I was weary of trying this place after seeing some negative reviews on Yelp. But my sister insisted that when she tried it her and her husband enjoyed the lobster. We came for a family dinner and ordered off the set menu H for 4-6 people for about $198. It came with soup, steamed oysters, snow peas, 5 lb of lobster (although they charge you extra like other places for any extra weight), sautéed clams, steamed fish, lobster roe fried rice and half a chicken. One thing I was a bit annoyed at, we tried to get a different style lobster (outside of the set menu) and changing it to the Malaysian style cost us an additional $10. I understand a set menu is a set menu for a reason, but to charge $10 for a flavor change is a bit intense. Other than that, service was ok, dinner room was very busy around 6-6:30 and I felt a little rushed towards the end of our dinner.

Yelp
I was expecting having a seafood feast at Captain's Catch. But fresh seafood selection is quite limited. We ended up ordering: 鎮江糖醋排骨 ($12.99) Fried Spare ribs in Chinkiang Style - too fatty, 50% of the ribs were fat! 美極虎蝦 ($14.99) Tiger Shrimps in Maggi Sauce - Really tasty and shrimps were well prepared! 蒜末蒸生蚝 ($ 5.99 each) Steamed Oysters in Minced Garlic - at $6 a piece, we got 1 big one which was double the size of the other one?! Taste was good but I don't think I will order that again! I would not consider Captain's Catch is a real "seafood" restaurant but a standard Cantonese restaurant. The dish can be a hit or miss. Service is quite attentive and I do like the booth seating and there are quite a few tables available for smaller group. They do accept credit cards! A pleasant surprise!

Dennis C.

Yelp
Went for lunch and pricing is competitive with other lunch special offerings. Service is very good-polite and efficient. The decor is nice and they also have a few VIP rooms for private gatherings. Food (can only comment on the lunch specials but I expect dinner to be similar) is quite good...Frankly how can you differentiate your food unless it's really good or bad??? If it's fresh, competitively price, decent portions and tastes good. I typically rate it a 4/5. The only potential issue here is parking since they share the parking with a very busy Tim Hortons. The good news is that the turnover of cars at Tims is quite fast. At least they have taken steps to fix the parking issue since they have free parking next door at Parkway Car Wash after 630pm M-Sat and all day on Sundays. This is really important for dinner and I glad they were proactive enough to fix this issue.

Yelp
Loved it so much the first time, we came back! I originally had the Cantonese Chow Mein and Congee here. I had to doggy bag the how me in and was surprised that it tasted amazing the next day. The noodles were not stale tasting and after reheating it tasted like it was just made. I've had Cantonese chow mein before from many other places and the leftovers almost always tasted stale the next day. I'm here today to try the Japanese style eel with fried rice. I'll write more later!

Yelp
Looking for a great Chinese Seafood restaurant is hit and miss and this place is a HIT !!! Was craving fresh seafood Cantonese style and did a quick search on Yelp and this came up. A few mixed reviews but pictures don't lie so I came to try it myself. This a former congee and dishes type restaurant that has now changed / renovated to the Captain's Catch. There are seafood tanks on walking in which shows their catches available. We were here on Friday evening early for dinner and I was hoping to see some Vancouver Spot Prawns and I was in luck !! Three tanks of fresh swimming prawns at a great price. We had this blanched/boiled style and they were so fresh and sweet. So nice to see a place that will present as promised with the weight on seafood. We also ordered a set dinner for 4 with free range chicken, tender choy sum stir fry with filet, vinegar spareribs, and stir fry beef with mushrooms. Everything is delicious and portions good size. Service was excellent. There is no other way to describe it. Server was attentive, friendly and down to earth. The restaurant lay out is similar to previous restaurant, mix of round tables, booths and private rooms. It is a nice Chinese restaurant but not high end. Great for family dinners and casual eats. Overall fantastic Chinese seafood restaurant with excellent service and taste.

Yelp
Overall experience: First Impressions ============= Walked into the reception area where there was a table that seemed to be where the cashier/host was. No welcome or greeting or any acknowledgement of my existence whatsoever. But... sadly this is something I've come to expect from Chinese Seafood restaurants, especially if you look younger than a baby boomer. Food ==== The food was a little on the bland side, and that was consistent across all the dishes. We had: - Chicken (in a soy sauce & green onions "sauce"): the chicken was okay. Parts were a bit tuff and dry. - Steamed fish (in soy sauce): probably the best of the bunch we had. On the bland side even though the base sauce is soy sauce. - Stir Fried baby bak Choi in garlic sauce: it was absent of garlic and salt...:/ Service ====== - Again sadly I think I've gotten use to this but they seem to treat larger tables with better service. It felt like they were indifferent whether or not you enjoyed your time/food at the restaurant and whether you'd be back or not. Will I be back? =========== They don't seem to care either way, so no--no thank you.

Yelp
An amazing restaurant for Chinese style seafood, with extremely fresh seafood that they bring to your table live for you to approve. The salted egg yolk stir fried lobster was cooked to perfection, with an amazing texture from the salted egg. The oysters were incredibly silky in texture, and seasoned well, though the garlic and scallion variety was tastier, as I thought the XO sauce version's sauce was a little overbearing on the flavour. Overall, the restaurant had a great atmosphere and excellent wait staff. Food came quickly, and the wait staff were quick to respond to any request. A great experience.
google avatar

Johnny L.

Yelp
The Captain's Catch is a Chinese seafood restaurant that replaces the old Congee Phoenix that was housed there before. Not to be confused with any of the New Orleans style seafood boil places, this restaurant is similar to all those Cantonese Seafood places with the lobster tanks showcasing what you'll be eating. The interior looks completely unchanged with the addition of private rooms for clientele. Menu looks to be very similar with the addition of family style seafood dinners like those larger Cantonese restaurants. We ordered the Ginger and Onion Lobster E-Fu Noodles, Minced Beef Egg Drop Soup, and Malaysian Stir-Fried Clams. We started the Minced Beef Egg Drop Soup ($7), and honestly...it was really good. The soup had a wonderful aroma and the minced beef was light in flavor while the soup tasted excellent. Lots of filling and their smallest bowl was HUGE. The Malaysian Stir-Fried Clams ($11) were different from how I usually like my clams. Not sure how much I enjoyed them, but they aren't bad despite how negative I am sounding. It is slightly spicy and dry and stir fried with minced pork. The lack of sauce allowed the clams to provide more of that briny flavor. Clams were large and tender. We ended our meal with the Ginger and Onion Lobster E-Fu Noodles ($23). The lobster is your standard one pounder that is tossed with ginger and onion and tossed with the E-Fu Noodles. The lobster chunks were nice, while the noodles were fantastic. Chewy yet still firm and soaked in all that lobster-y flavor. Because they had their Grand Opening, there weren't that many people, but it wasn't empty either. The service was excellent too. There were smiles a-plenty, and they seemed excited which was nice. I hope it lasts. The weather was terrible so it's always nice to get a nice hot meal indoors. Will try their actual family lobster meals one day.
google avatar

Amy W.

Yelp
The steamed fish was very fresh and tasty. The soya sauce and texture of the fish was good. The lobster was fresh. The peas was not bad, it can be more flavourful. The tea they serve was very nice, it is of higher quality. My mom is very picky with chicken, but even she enjoyed it. Besides from the limited parking. The overall experience was good. We will be coming back again!
google avatar

Yelp
We're lucky that in Toronto, excellent Cantonese restaurants like this are standard, rather than the exception. The food here is what you'd expect, great tasting, with big portions all at a reasonable price. What we didn't expect though, was the top notch service we got! You could really tell that they were trying their hardest to make us feel welcome as soon as we stepped into the restaurant, and the waitstaff were so friendly and attentive all throughout the meal. Recommended if you're looking for a good Cantonese restaurant with a clean and modern interior, and nice service.
google avatar

Nal R.

Yelp
We live across the road from this restaurant and decided to try it Loved the Spawns with Broccoli we got

Phil T.

Yelp
The food was fantastic. We had fresh lobster and crab Chinese style. Best I've ever had.
google avatar

Erica L.

Yelp
Very nice customer service and big portions for the price. Lunch special is pretty a good deal, the portion served is the same as regular meal. Taste is good, love their fried rice noodle with beef. Great place to fix a quick lunch! Will definitely visit again for dinner to check out their sea food menu.

Jane S.

Yelp
The food is ok. The oyster was overpriced, it didn't have any flavour. The noodles were ok, but seemed bland for black bean. But the service is terrible, there are so many people walking around, but you can't get their attention. I requested no onions, and the waitress forgot. We asked for water, she also forgot. It took forever for someone to bring us water. When we got her attention, she didn't stand there long enough for us to tell her the things we wanted. I was still eating and they wanted to grab the plate. So they are attentive when u don't want them to be...
google avatar

Jermaine H.

Yelp
Came here for a group dinner...set menu. I found the food fresh and tasty and the service was attentive. We had both the king crab and lobster. I liked the roasted garlic they were cooked in both tasty with a kick Pay cash for additional discount. Definitely will be coming back.
google avatar

Eva M.

Yelp
Daytime soup noodle: 2/5 Regular stir fry: 4/5 I actually came a lot, just for some Cantonese stir fry to dine in or to go. They accept both Apple Pay and wechat pay. Convenient to local people and friendly to FOB. Nice staff, good taste. Small portion which is excellent for me. I thought it's a 3.5~4/5 restaurant, and a good choice if you don't want to cook everyday. Walking distance to neighborhood. Today is the first time I came for daytime noodle soup, it's below mediocre. If I rate Deer Garden 5/5, this is definitely a 1.5+/5, but due to their location and nice staff, I gave it a 2/5. Their chicken wings (come with noodle soup) are weird, not something you are expected. Beef slice has zero taste, saying that I always ask for "less salt less oil no msg" to most Chinese restaurant. They do need to provide customer a big spoon for noodle soup. I will still come for their stir fry , but not for noodle soup.
google avatar

Allen S.

Yelp
This place uses to be called Congee Phoenix, a slightly cozy and affordable Chinese restaurant, but after a fire destroyed the roof and kitchen they decided to renovate and transform their restaurant style and prices as a result rose up quite a bit. The quality has not changed much compared to before, I would give Congee Phoenix 4 stars for the food and service, but to raise the price and serve the same EXACT food after simply saying now you serve lobster and king crab? I'm sorry that doesn't make sense to me. If you're somehow craving for Chinese-style lobster and large plates for rice/noodles, I suppose this place is worth a visit.

Suzy G.

Yelp
Horrible on many levels. Firstly our server was extremely rude. We were a group of 13 people so when we asked for separate bills our server began to scream in Cantonese. Next, I ordered a braised tofu and vegetables dish. The flavour was bland and really not good. It was not a soup or stew and yet it was floating in 2 inches of brown water. Lastly, the waitress stood over each one of us separately and told us that the tip was not included in the price. I said Thank you and expected her to go away. She repeated that tip wasn't included insisting I give her the tip right then. I did and then left...never to return!!!
google avatar

Monika W.

Yelp
The food is ok, it's cooked well but not very tasty. The hostess was not friendly but the other servers did their jobs. They have fresh seafood but I wish they would keep them in bigger tanks.

David T.

Yelp
I lived next to Captain Catch, love the fried calamari, value for money. Never missed it when i go order there..
google avatar

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
Came for dinner on a weeknight around 9:30pm, service kind of slow with the restaurant being pretty empty at that time, but otherwise pleasant. Ordered Lobster E-Fu Noodles & Spicy Lettuce. Noodles were not bad, with decent amount of lobster for 2 people (not huge marble pieces, but good enough). Lettuce was large portion and flavourful. The best part of the meal was the unexpected complimentary dessert - "snow fungus" that night - very soft, sweet and smooth.

Laura Y.

Yelp
It was our first time with my fiance trying the restaurant and we are more than satisfied. Very convenient for us as we leave next door. Food are good and the portion is descent. The seafood are fresh and good quality. We even got a small dessert for free. Reasonable price and the staffs are nice and devoted in their work. We highly recommend this place if you like chinese food and seafood. Keep it up Captain Catch !!!!
google avatar

Charles W.

Yelp
conveniently located chinese place near me. all the basics you want. food is good, takeout service is prompt.

Cayleigh P.

Yelp
Always have a great experience here. The staff are sooooo nice and the food is amazing! We like to order an array of things, but we always include at least one order of noodles. Hope this place will stick around for many, many years to come.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Came in for my mother's birthday. We had fried rice, deep fried crab balls, lobster, and steamed veggies. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the lobster! The one criticism that I have about the Captain's Catch is the service - we felt like we were being ignored at certain times during our experience here...although it was busy when we came in, I wish they were more attentive, especially when they were giving me eye contact back when I tried to get their attention...
google avatar

Tiffy I.

Yelp
Very competitive pricing. Huge portions. I was actually quite surprised on how big some of the portions were. Portion size I feel must be highlighted here. HUGE. The oysters are huge, well depends in which size u order since there are 2 sizes. Will definitely return. Food quality is good. Everything was decent. Staff was friendly. Your teapot is always full and your empty plates are taken away promptly. They also clear off your bones plate when it reaches half full. They don't pressure you to get anything in particular, which is nice since quite a few Cantonese restaurants try to sell u on the more expensive items on the menu, but not this place which is good. Thing I didn't like was their noodle in soup which is only served up to 5pm... The noodles looked like they were overcooked and had absorbed a lot of the soup...so tasted kinda bad...had to leave that one to waste but everything else was good. Restaurant is quite new and the decor was above average for the typical Cantonese restaurant especially for the pricing. They take credit card which is not the case for every chinese restaurant so that's another plus. Worth a try.
google avatar

Yelp
Bought the pad Thai lunch special for take out. When I went to pick it up, the lady was on the phone for 15 minutes without even acknowledging my existence. Every lunch special dish is suppose to come with a spring roll.....but I didn't get one at all. The soup tastes like sewage water. But overall it's cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.

Carla G.

Yelp
This is my first time here,Since they reopened,The food is very good,(delicious i must say.Service was excellent,And courteous,I had the general Tao chicken with rice & vegetables,With a spring roll, spicy as it should be. Comes with soup and a pop,For $7.99 Lunch special, and they give you a lot of food for that price, I recommend you try it,You won't be sorry.

Ziwei W.

Yelp
amazing oysters. So fresh. Welcoming and friendly staff. price is pretty good as well. Definitely worth 5 stars. I am going to recommend it to my friends for sure.

Vinagi T.

Yelp
The service is awful.. the servers do not speak any English and worse of all do not even know the menus item to take the order forget about recommending something new to try... the concept and kitchen and menu seems good, but the owner is definitely going to lose all like the previous management because his services and the uncompetitive stuff he hired... The place is joke... the delivery service apparently always just finished 5 minutes before your call... on three separate occasions one time at 11 pm , one time at 1030pm... and ridiculeslly even at 9 pm on a Thursday night... what joke

Yelp
This place may well be cursed, as they have changed hands at least 4-5 times since i've been around this year. this place has replaced another previous chinese restaurant called congee pheonix. i have to say although they changed very little of the decor. the menu has improved slightly in terms of the combo deals. however ordering separately in this restaurant is a money grab at best. they are very pricey for a chinese restaurant, even pricier then congee queen. the food i have to say is standard and average at best, nothing spectacular. the portions aren't amazing, but what really bumped them to a lower 2 star, is the fact that this restaurants services is beyond terrible. even though there was no one waiting and there is a hostess. in the beginning of entering took the hostess a total of 10 minutes to acknowledge us and get us a table. even thought there were clearly plenty of empty spots. Once we got to the table it was a struggle to get any services, from having to get tea, to getting the menu and finding someone to order with. basically i felt like we were begging to eat here. for the price they want to charge for food, they should at least have better service, or better food. non of which is the case. i would not recommend this to anyone, as it is not worth the hassle. or the money to spend here.

Yelp
Too bad I can't give this place a zero! Worst Asian restaurant I've ever been too! The food is disgusting, they even messed up the squid legs with tons of salt. The shrimp chow main was the most nasty chow main I have ever had! Im from an Asian area and I've had amazing food. This place is HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO HERE!!! PS: The service is horrible too.

Yelp
My go to restaurant in the area. No MSG (I'm quite sensitive to msg usually) and prices are fair for the quality of food they provide. Lunch prices are unbelievably affordable and is a must try!

Yelp
Went with two friends. We had two seafood noodle dishes and one vegetable dish. Food was plentiful and "fine". Not very flavourful. Menu was satisfactory. Prices were average.

Yelp
Thre worst food we have ever had. I grew up with seafood and going to Chinatown every Saturday for dinner. The stink of this food made my entire family gag. Chicken dishes also tasted disgusting. We ordered in, ended up having to throw it all out including the incorrect beef dish that was mostly fat with little meat which was so chewy we couldnt swallow it. Never again.
