I like everything about this place. Very cordial service, good prices but most of all delicious food. I went to another place I won't name and ordered a meatball parm hero. So disgusting I couldn't eat it, but im never disappointed at Caputos. Middletown is lucky.

I honestly ordered here by mistake but it turned out to be a the best food mistake I've ever made. Their ingredients are top notch and super fresh, pizza wasn't greasy and tasted amazing. When I got there they were very welcoming and the place is super clean. I will definitely be ordering here from now on.

First time ordering here, did take out. We got a plain pie, garbage pie, and chicken fingers with fries. The plain pie reminded me of Queens, so that's a huge win. The garbage pie was tasty, but needed a little more time. I recommend ordering it "well done". The chicken fingers and fries are kid approved 100% as they were gone before I could get a picture. Overall, probably the best pizza in 10940 and 10941 that I have tried so far.

Honestly by far the greatest pizza place I’ve gone to in Middletown! I always order from here whether it’s pasta, ice cream, Stromboli, wings everything is delicious. Mind you this is a size small Stromboli. I had leftovers for lunch the next day. And the wings had surprisingly a lot meat on them. I’m so happy this place is right around the corner from my house. 10/10 would recommend coming to eat here.

I have refused since 2013ish when I 1st started eating here, to ever like any other pizza place at all. Mark is amazing… They catered my baby shower 1 1/2 yrs ago - everything was so good, put together perfect, & done right on time seamlessly. He made the process so easy for me (I planned my entire shower by myself & this was so helpful). I also recently got 8 personal pies worth of dough to fly to FL with & my FL friends got to taste REAL NY pizza for the 1st time. They were beyond impressed. Mark called me & step by step walked my through how to travel with them & make them. He was worried about the flight, but they made it down there & were absolutely DELISH!!!! The garlic butter wings are my fav & I get them frequently - crispy, juicy, & flavorful. The desserts are always fresh, as are the other ingredients used. This time I got Nonnas meatballs for the 1st time (omg delish) & their fried ravioli - which I am so picky about anytime I order them anywhere, but here they were perfectly CRISPY, not too moist, & the sauce was heavenly. 1000 out of 10 recommend to EVERYONE & tell them this is LEGIT the best in all of the upstate tristate area. I fight people who say otherwise because what are you eating if it isn’t CAPUTOS!! I’ve been a ride or die since their first location. I've been eating at Caputo's for years , since they were located up North St in Middletown. They relocated to a beautiful new location Downtown (and they brought the fish tank with them) The food is still great especially the veal parm hero. The pizza is just right not too doughy and not too thin. The reason for this review is not only to mention the food but what a great staff that works there. My best friend had a medical emergency at ORMC so they called another pizza place to deliver for the family that was stuck at the hospital waiting. After waiting for 2 1/2 hrs and no delivery my friend called me in a panic. I called Caputo's and they had two pies ready in 10 minutes. when I showed to pick them up(they do deliver but that was not an optional this time) I explained the situation and Brittany allowed me to use one of the pizza holder warmers to deliver them to the hospital. they went out of their way service wise. If you have to travel downtown Middletown, To the DMV, Library, City Hall, Court or the Police station stop here and have a slice or great sandwich or dinner. Highly recommended.

Best pizza in the area! The older man who makes the pizza, I don’t know who he is, but he needs to be protected at all costs! Incredible!

Authentic Italian old school fresh done the way takes you to Italy sans the flight. Highly recommend speciality Arugula Pizza Slice thin crust fresh mozzarella tomatoes sliced Parmesan cheese drizzled balsamic meant to enjoy with glass of wine forget about it!

One of the best pizza places in town. Not only is the pizza delicious but everything on the menu is great. I love the Cesar salad wrap and the chicken parm. Always get a hello and welcome in. Friendly family owned and operated.

I come here often because they have great pizza pies and my wife loves their chicken caesar salad. The salad is huge and allows her to take half to school with her the next day for lunch. Mark who works there is always super nice. He is a great people person and makes coming to this place a true joy. There is plenty of room to eat in and they also have an extensive ice cream and dessert menu. If you are in Middletown, stop by and grab a bite. You won't regret it.

We decided to try caputos.we usually use franks.this hands down was the worst pizza I've had in a very long time.chintzy,and just plain gross

Caputos is Located in middletown right next to the Middletown police station. Dinning in or ordering out these guys are the real deal, They have over 22 years of Experience in the Orange County by far the best Pizza/Italian i had in a while since living in the Bronx, The pizza has a great under carriage great homemade sauce with the fresh mozzarella. If you live in the area be sure to dine in and check out the ambiance. If you're sticking with a Keto diet their salads are really good I recommend the number 4. Check out their menu and see the variety of delights these guys have to offer. My experience with the service is a 10/10 must try again :)

My family ordered a regular pie and a grandma pie and both were fantastic!! It was ready when we arrived. Love Caputo's!! They never disappoint!!

Delivery lunch for 8 this time. Ordered a shrimp and mango salad today. Mango was ripe and there were 6 decent sized shrimp, albeit extremely overcooked! Mozzarella sticks and onion rings were good as well. Don't ask for modifications or order anything off menu as it seems to double the price. Go in person, order off the menu, and pay cash!

Best food and pizza around! Prices are the best, and the quality of his pizza, sandwiches, salads, and entrees are top of the line! Even the ice cream is outstanding! I would never go anywhere else! The owner, Mark, takes pride in the cleanliness of his restaurant, the quality of his products, and the service given to his customers. He doesn't want anyone to be disappointed!

Definitely my favorite pizza in Orange County. They never miss on the flavor. They always have new items to try as well. I've had their pizza wings and pasta and am never disappointed. My last visit they had a new slice that I couldn't resist. A graffiti slice that had pesto, tomato, and vodka sauce, along with fresh mozzarella. I always had a rice ball which was crips and tasty. I highly recommend this family owned business that I have been going to since I was a kid.

The food taste like nonna is back in the kitchen making it all by hand. The gravy is so savory and the chicken cutlet had just the right amount of cheese to gravy ratio! My sons are hooked on their chicken cutlet, bacon, lettuce and tomato hero's. Definitely my local family owned restaurant in my area!

Stopped in for a slice, was not disappointed....huge slices! Got a bottle of water and two slices for $6.75!! Can't beat it

Found this gem!! Amazing pizza- I got the plain, balsamic arugula, buffalo chicken and chicken bacon ranch slices. OMG this was probably the best pizza I've had in a long time and I am a huge critic of pizza. Not only was the pizza great the service was even better. We showed up 30 minutes before closing (for those of you who have worked in the food industry, you know that's a no-no) chairs were up and they were still happy to serve us. Ended the amazing pizza with two slices of Oreo pie and chocolate cake- also delish. Thank you Caputo's, we will absolutely be back!

Awesome! Always great food and great atmosphere! And now they have slushees! Such a win! We love going to the skate park and then get some pizza and slushees after!

I oredered takeout of this place few days ago. Going inside the place, it it very small with less than 20 tables, tall bar ,highstools , and chairs. Walls colored with gray and white decor leaves the illusion of a place very clean. Place also sells ice cream. I got the stromboli small and a small meatball calzone for my friend for takeout. Went home to eat it. Both pieces are very good portions. Stromboli tasted very good.. can taste the pepperoni, meatball, sausage. Calzone was good according to my friend. Lots of seasoning across the outside crust pastry and tomato dipping sauce. There are lots of food here in this town but even less that offer it more authentic. I had to change pizza places recently because my last go to place had sold their busi; the oizza was never the same. So i have to look at othey authenticated places. Cuginos, Pellegrino's, and this one. Next time i will try their pizzas.

Terrible service, they rang us up for the wrong order then when we paid the price difference for our actual order because it was more expensive. the boss tried acting slick by adding the delivery fee and crossed it out with pen on our receipt.

No matter what type of pizza we've ordered, the bottom of pizza is always soggy. Last order for a pizza we asked that they keep the pizza in oven longer for a hearty crust. To no avail, the pizza was soggy. Don't understand why. This place is always full of people. Is it just us?

Absolutely love this place...first time here today..I had the bake ziti with extra mozzarella and a Cesar salad on the side...I know it's simple...but the flavors are amazing

not satisfied at all with the delivery of my order, I don't remember his name but it was some bald guy. completely screwed up my order and when I went to the store at a later date the owner basically told me to go fuck myself. I'm also pretty sure I saw a roach in the place too.. like honestly. This shit is wack. and the cheese was like rubber. I think this is my first time being disappointed in NY pizza. Really botched my visit home.

I've been ordering from this place for 10 years it's Caputo's when he was at his original place pizza was great ever since he moved his pizza's crappy the cheese ends up on one side when you order a delivery I'm definitely done ordering from here they lost a customer

We ordered a half meat lover's pie (half plain) to a restaurant. Delivered to our hotel. I was told a half hour. I really don't mind waiting for food, just tell me it's going to be a while. Food arrived an hour later. I understand charging for the bleu cheese dressing my husband likes to dip his crust in, but since they were delivering to a hotel room, I would expect a bit of extra diligence to include the plates and parm as requested. Unfortunately we didn't realize that was missing until the guy was paid and gone, so I called the place and the person was rather rude. "Well they did send the bleu cheese" -- yeah, I know. I simply requested that they at least reverse the charge on the extra cheese but they said they couldn't do that. Sigh and oh well. The pizza itself was pretty good. I'd give it 3 stars. A bit greasy and quite salty. Still good for this NY style pizza lover, born and raised. Reasonably priced. I'd order again, just make extra sure I could actually eat in my hotel room!!

Mark is super nice and very helpful. The place is always cleaned and very welcoming.. the food is amazing and it's always easy to find parking.. I love the lunch special.. Best pizza spot in town hands down.. They welcome you before you walk in they make eye contact and always say hello.. So if you want good food and great customer service I would totally recommend Caputo's Pizza..

The best pizzeria in Middletown. I've been dining here for 10+ years. Their slices are huge, garlic knots are the best I've ever had - their bread is perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy and doughy on the inside. The sauce is delicious and they always put lots of fresh garlic. Their menu has a giant selection with amazing and inexpensive lunch choices. I have never had a bad dish from this place. Customer service is always 5 star - even the young kids working the counter are courteous and polite. This place will always get my business.

Since I'm in @new York from North Caroliba, I just had to do as the New Yorkers do and order some Italian food. Delicious! I'm a little disappointed as it is super quiet in the restaurant as I wanted to hear some loud Italian banter back and forth. I had the stuffed shells and garlic knots that came with a really nice salad for $11, yes, $11.

I ordered a medium pizza boneless wings combo with a can of soda and garlic knots and when I arrived to the store they had my boyfriend waiting there after the order was placed one hour ago and it still wasn't ready the pizza but the Chicken wings where ready sitting there mins you they are boneless wings they are fried and then shakes in mild garlic sauce so they by the time I got them they where dried up and cold I called to get them replaced after I just called because I forgot my can of soda they informed me that my order was an hour ago placed yes but my food wasn't ready the delivery driver hung up the phone on me after asking to get them replaced and still continuing to make it an argument when it should just be okay we can fix it everything else in the order was fine and hot but the boneless wings he says ugh your Gona have to talk to the boss about that so we did and he as a store owner was very argumentative and blamed us as the customer for why 1 out of 3 items where bad he the owner was rude mean and very argumentative when as a store restaurant owner you should have more class and respect for the way peoples food look he didn't even want to open the box up when it was brought back the least he did was give the money back for the boneless wings and then said don't come back here lol don't buy boneless wings from here not worth the argument back and forth with the owner on quality especially if you are a current store manager and know the ins and outs of quality of food and people skills!!!!

Food is pretty mediocre and the pizza is just small sponges squares. Much better places to spend your money in town where the owner isn't a complete ass.

Normally really very good but we ordered a bacon and spinach pie that was light on both spinach and bacon. In fact, maple bacon was used that kind of ruined the pie.

Best fresh Italian food in town!!!! Don't be fooled by the pizzeria title they are so much more than that. The garlic knots are by far the most delicious knots you'll ever have. Amazing salads too, seriously it's soo good!!!!

We go often,as there food is fresh & delicious. The daily soup with varieties,always tasty. The pizza & dinners are the best. Very comfortable atmosphere with quick service. The staff are on point! A great location with access parking. Just a really nice place for lunch or family dinners.

Best pizza I've ever had. There was a lot of flavors and the crust was absolutely perfect. Fluffy and soft but not too thick that you can call it thick crust pizza. It's still thin but not cardboard like, like most other places. I'd definitely come back to the east coast just for this pizza. The service was also amazing. The guy serving us was apparently the owner and he was very attentive, polite, very nice overall.

Wife and I Went for lunch and bought 1 slice of pizza regular. 1 slice with sausage on top. Both delicious and were oversized! Sausage on slice could have been more for extra $$ they charge but that's ok. Also bought a chicken parmigiana sub/hero. My good ness-freshness saucy well done chicken cheesy. We throughly enjoyed it. Wish I took pics to post but food didn't last that long. Definitely visit this relatively new location in downtown Middletown my with easy parking

We haven't had a good New York Pizza since we moved to Florida a year ago. When we were driving on Route 17 we looked up best Pizza in our area on Yelp. We took the recommendation and tried Caputo's. Oh my goodness, how happy we were. It is a little out of the way but well worth the drive. The people were so wonderful about making a special pizza for us It was so amazing!! We ordered a vegetable pizza and it was so perfect. The crust was perfect, the sauce and cheeses were perfect and the size of the medium could serve 4 people easily. Their prices were also very reasonable. We had a great experience and will probably go back on the way home.

Fast and friendly service. Food is great and reasonably priced. Try the homemade bread, you won't be sorry!!

I ordered 2 dinners. Stressing to the person to not forget my bread. Both dinners arrived without bread. I called them back and was assured that it would be delivered shortly. I waited 45 minutes and called back. I was told that I would not receive the bread but, they would send double the next time. Caputos used to be awesome however it seems that they no longer care about customer satisfaction. I just recently ordered from them due to an order that was so messed up it was almost inedible. I will not order from them again.

Haven't been to the new location yet because I no longer live in Middletown but I've always loved Caputos and miss it! Amazing pizza, wings, salads, soups and much more!

if I could it would be a negative star rating.This has been my go to spot since they were located on north street. Until I ordered food with contactless delivery they told me it would be 49 min 20 min later I got a phone call that my food was delivered I was shocked because I never heard a vehicle or anyone on my porch . I went outside and there was nothing there . I got right on the phone and was hung up on , I called right back and no one answered. During this time I was caring for a sick elderly family member I drove to James street I told the young man that there was no pizza immediately a young punk that was probably a new employee warns me to not start trouble because the owner was not there ohhhhh obviously because you charged me and never delivered my food he then accused me of being hard up and trying to get my money back and keeping the pizza.as if. I have never been so insulted he cussed at me and told me I was broke. I didn't even want the money I would have appreciated my pizza. In the end another gentleman refunded my money. I called back the next day to inform the owner and they would not pick up for my phone number. This was the most disgusting display of customer service as well as attempted robbery of 25$ by the delivery boy. I will never order from here and will also encourage others not to aswell.

Really nice new pizza spot right in the heart of town. Inside is really clean and remodeled and the owner seems really nice. The pizza has a very thin crispy crust and is not over the top w cheeses and sauces. They have all Boars Head meats and they make their own breads and cannolis everyday. We also got subs which were really good. Give this place a try we will def be back.
