Miami’s New Restaurant Openings

"There are now three Caracas locations in Miami, which is objectively good news. For now, the new Gables location just has pastries and coffee, but we’ll be back to visit them once they add sandwiches and other breakfast dishes to the menu." - mariana trabanino

Caracas Bakery Coral Gables - Review - Coral Gables - Miami - The Infatuation

"Caracas Bakery is one of the most exciting things to happen in Coral Gables since the peacocks expanded their territory north. The new Miracle Mile location of one of our favorite bakeries in Miami is a present for everyone living south of Doral and west of I-95. Like its sister in MiMo, this Caracas isn’t very big. There’s enough room for about 25 people. For now, it’s only pastries and drinks. Sandwiches and breakfast dishes are coming soon, but you can still grab coffee and a cachito, or a golfeado if you’re in a dessert mood. And you should. These are hands-down some of the best pastries in Miami." - Virginia Otazo

Good bakery inbthe middle of Miracle Mile. The food was good, particularly the cachitos of jamon y queso, the spinach boureka and a pistaccio pastry. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy but the place is too small and doesn't have enough sit outside so tricky if you visit with a group of more than 5 people.

The atmosphere was not as cozy as I was expecting for a Bakery.. and specially with that name ❤️ but the service was very good very nice people, the coffee is a winner 🙌🏻 they add 2 coffee shots I only requested 1 because it was my second coffee that morning and it was still tasty! Pastries delicious 👏🏻

I had high hopes for Caracas Bakery, but unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. I ordered a very hot latte, and when I requested it extra hot, the barista responded with a sarcastic “boiling?” instead of simply accommodating my request. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. I also ordered a pastry, which was reheated rather than fresh—definitely not what I expected from a bakery. Meanwhile, the cashier seemed uninterested, quickly returning to his computer after the transaction. To top it off, the coffee itself was poorly made, with an excess of foam and lacking the rich, smooth taste I was hoping for. Overall, the service was unwelcoming, and the quality of both the coffee and pastry did not justify the price. Not worth the money I spent, and I won’t be returning.

This bakery is a gem! Their croissants are perfectly flaky and buttery—some of the best I've ever had. The sourdough has a crispy crust and a wonderfully tangy flavor. The staff is also super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves fresh, high-quality baked goods!

My husband and I were excited to hear that Caracas Bakery opened in Coral Gables. This morning, we decided to visit, arriving around 9:45 AM. Unfortunately, we walked in and right back out. On a Sunday morning, we enjoy savoring a good cup of coffee with a side dish while having a conversation—something that was impossible here due to the excessively loud music. The atmosphere is just as important as the food, and the volume made it uninviting. I’d highly recommend that they reconsider the noise level to create a more enjoyable dining experience.

Loved the coffee best in the gable's. This is my second time here and really good. But wish they put plates under the cups.

I recently had the misfortune of visiting Caracas Bakery at Miracle Mile Coral Gables and I must say, it was quite an underwhelming experience. The decor left much to be desired—nothing inviting or comfortable to encourage patrons to linger. Unfortunately, the ambiance was just the tip of the iceberg. The prices were alarmingly high for what we received. The coffee was overpriced, and the pastries were disappointingly small. To add to our frustration, the service was subpar. When we requested plates for our coffees, the waitress merely pointed to a stand and told us to help ourselves. This lack of attention and care was frustrating and left us feeling unwelcome. Overall, I cannot recommend Caracas Bakery. I will certainly be sharing my experience with friends and family, urging them to consider other options. Save your time and money! (I would not give a star at all but then my helpful review wouldn’t be share.)

Yelp
I decided to give this place a try during a study break and I am really happy I did. They have a variety of pastries ranging from sweet to savory. I tried the beef and chicken Bourekas as well as the cheese bread. I paid $16 for the three of them. I found that to be a bit expensive compared to other bakeries in the area. I really enjoyed the cheese pastry, especially when the cheese was nice and melted. Next I really liked the chicken boureka. The pastry was flaky and the chicken was well seasoned. My least favorite was the beef one which I think fell flat flavor wise. Make sure you get these heated up. Otherwise, the service was fast, but I was the only person ordering. The decor itself is a bit unorthodox. It's pretty minimalistic and the bakery portion is in the front. There were about 6 tables.

Yelp
I came in hoping to get breakfast. But then was told it's just pastries. I got a cinnamon roll with cheese. It was tasty. But the seating wasn't the best. It needed more Decorations or plants. There's no open space or window in the seating area. I personally love some open space while enjoying my coffee. A new Caracas location ! I want to go back to the og location for the egg dishes. A good spot if you want a quick coffee to go and a pastry. Great service .
