"This tastefully designed restaurant is housed in the small boutique hotel of the same name, which enjoys a fabulous location in the Wasserburger Bucht and boasts stunning lake views. It specialises in modern European cuisine infused with authentic Peruvian influences. There is a small selection of à la carte options as well as a five-course set menu (by advance booking only) – the chefs themselves serve the dishes, adding a distinctive personal touch. The 300 labels on offer showcase wines from Bordeaux to Slovakia. Alternatively, there is a good range of non-alcoholic drinks to accompany your food. Every Sunday from 12pm to 6.30pm is "Family & Friends", when à la carte classics are served, such asparihuela(Peruvian bouillabaisse), Wiener schnitzel orKaiserschmarrn(shredded pancakes). It was the best stay in my 2025 Eurotrip. Room was very clean and cozy and breakfast was superb with lots of fresh tasty options. Staff was very kind and nice. It was my birthday and I was pampered with champagne, cheesecake, pralinés and a warm message. Sunset by the lake was a breathtaking experience!

We visited this hotel the second time and still love it a lot. Rooms are clean and big. Breakfast is excellent and we had the pleasure to eat outside . The private beach is nice as well with two sup to rent. The only complaint would be a missing air condition and the beds are too soft

Nice Hotel, great Restaurant with great food and friendly service. The superior room was spacious, sleeping and living room and balcony with sea view. Comfortable big beds and soft towels in the bathroom! the only minus was the very small sink. All in all , it was a nice stay and we would like to come again!

We spent 5 days at the hotel and were very pleased with our experience. The hotel has a location directly at the lake- with beautiful maintained area to access the lake. The breakfast was great and enough options for everyone. Staff was very kind and polite. The lounge area at the lake is great for a drink or coffee. Our room ( deluxe suite) was spacious clean and wonderful decorated. The only downsize no AC but this is quite normal in Germany . All together we will definitely return!

Positives: Great location by the lake. Excellent Michelin Guide restaurant and lakeside bar/cafe. Recently renovated so rooms are quite new. Breakfast was great. Negatives: The suite we stayed in (1st floor) was described to be "light-filled" and have a lake view. Both of those things were barely true. Suite actually struggled with natural light and view of the lake was mostly obstructed. The design of the suite was quite poor, bedroom too small with little space for luggage. It was hot but impractical to keep windows open as there was no insect netting. There was a party on one night that went on late, impossible to relax or get any sleep in the room. Smoke alarms went into some sort of test mode without warning on a Sunday morning for approximately 30 minutes. Spa was under construction.

We went there for my husband’s birthday dinner. The environment of the restaurant is very comfortable, but elegant. The service was super - friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing - exquisite plate design, fine Ingredients, great tastes! At the end of the dinner they presented us some chocolate as dessert for free, after knowing we had a cake waiting at home - very considerate. I can only recommend. Tips: 📬need to make a reservation in advance (1 week when it’s high season). 📬there’s a parking area closed to the restaurant (ca.100m), please prepare some coins for the parking ticket.

Food is fantastic. Property is very beautiful, modern and clean. Service staff is a little too young for the prices charged here. Some of them seem to be even school students. Some do not speak German or English. The bar / lounge by the lake is not open on weekends when the main touristic traffic is here in the Summer months. This means you are not able to have a drink or coffee while lying by the lake. If you are thirsty and the restaurant is shut you cannot get a drink. This was surprising because at check-in it was announced the bar is open every day as of 3 PM. When calling the reception to ask about this there was no answer. Reception staff were missing during official reception opening hours.
