"Just off Camberwell Green, Caravaggio is a loveable neighbourhood gelateria that draws you in with glistening racks of baklava and keeps you in with a crooning Sinatra soundtrack and double scoops that are more like triples. This is a beloved Camberwell spot and locals know the family well, swapping stories about when this charming dessert shop used to be Caravaggio Italian Restaurant. But even if you’re new to these parts, friendly staff will offer as many samples as you like without batting an eyelid and never hurry you if you linger on one of the roomy tables. Absolutely love this place! Caravaggio offers a fantastic variety of gelato, baklava, and cakes — everything is fresh and full of flavor. The coffee is top-notch too. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the calm, cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to relax. Highly recommended!

We stopped by this adorable cafeteria and were so glad we did. Not only were the desserts absolutely delicious, but the staff made the whole experience even better. Right from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine friendliness. The staff were super helpful, gave great recommendations, and you could tell they actually cared about making us feel welcome. 🍨 Mango Ice Cream – Refreshing and packed with real mango flavor! Creamy, smooth, and perfect for a hot day. 🍰 Passion Fruit Cheesecake – The star of the show. Sweet and tangy with a silky texture — beautifully balanced and full of tropical vibes. 🍪 Cookies & Cream Ice Cream – Classic comfort . Loaded with cookie bits and not too sweet, just the way we like it! We left not just with happy taste buds, but with good vibes thanks to the kind, attentive team. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

I sampled a few flavours, but found them all overly sweet. So, I opted to go for the plain vanilla. It was bland, flavourless and had a very stiff/hard texture. Dubious as to if this is actually gelato. It’s bad ice cream at best.

Sneaky gelato on this summer's day, mint choc chip followed by some cold baklava that was recommended by the server, which I must say was beautiful. I did expect it to be sweet but it was well balanced 👌. The staff are welcoming, polite and knowledgeable on their products and the setting is beautiful 😍 If you are in the area it is definitely worth the visit. P.s. doggy ice cream is available to 🐕‍🦺

What a gem to find in Camberwell! This place has a wonderful selection of gelatos and sorbets, including vegan options and very satisfyingly priced for the portions you get. Lovely, homely decor and the gentlemen were so super helpful and patient in helping me find nutritional information for my Diabetic child which I am so grateful for! We will definately be back because I'm pretty sure my son will make sure of that! Thanks again! Update: Went back today and it was the first time using the toilet. It was very spacious and clean. A clean toilet says alot about an establishment and it did not disappoint.

Shop staff was very nice and attentive. They allowed me to try several flavours until I found the perfect one. We ordered and sat straight down at a table where they brought the rest of the order directly to us. Lovely homely feeling atmosphere also (:
