10 Quintessentially Phoenix Restaurants That Are Open on Mondays

"This massive downtown Phoenix eatery is reminiscent of something you might find in Miami. The 14-foot tree standing proudly in the middle and the wicker furniture lend themselves to a South Beach aesthetic. But Carcara establishes a uniquely Phoenix flare with a northern Mexican-influenced menu, complete with a Sonoran Caesar that’s topped with delectable mole croutons and a pan-seared mountain trout served in a mild tomato sauce with olives a la Veracruz." - Mcconnell Quinn, Eater Staff

Excellent place for finer dining in Phoenix! Big open restaurant with beautiful decor. The food was delicious! The pork belly appetizer was absolutely outstanding! Staff were professional and polite and service was prompt. They offer mocktails which was a nice touch. We will definitely return next time we're in town!

We had a lovely brunch sitting out on the patio people watching. The menu is very creative and the food was outstanding. We had the jalapeño biscuits and sausage gravy. (It was not spicy at all, although there were jalapeños in the biscuits), the bacon, egg and cheese pop tart with pepper jelly, the orange cinnamon roll, and the potatoes, I recommend them all. The restaurant is right across the street from the Herberger theater, which was convenient as we were seeing a matinee right after brunch. The only disappointment was the horrible service that we had. The restaurant was only about a quarter full and had plenty of staff, but we were unfortunate enough to get a waitress who couldn’t be bothered to check on us and refill our drinks, or take away empty plates, or even take the credit cards that were sitting on our table for 20 minutes while we were waiting to pay the bill. We finally had to go up to the bar and ask them to find our waitress. I can’t imagine what the service would be like if they were actually busy.

What an amazing experience. I didn't grow up fancy or modern, quite poor, so elements that are pretty fancy turn me the other way. This place, though, was a little fancy with the culture and the way they treat you, but all in all, the people from customers to staff are normal people who don't judge. I loved the food from my sorona salad to my chicken with risotto and carrots to my dessert of orange flan. By the way, I totally recommend it if you love citrus. I was gonna do carrot cake, but there is more with the orange flan. All in all I enjoyed the experience, the food was yummy and my bill without tip was 83 dollars see photos to see what was ordered and this place is for all and not the fancy of the fancy. BTW Janice, thanks so much for you.

We had passed this restaurant on several occasions and finely got a chance to dine there. Loved the ambiance. The service and the food were absolutely phenomenal. Our server was so sweet. She went above and beyond to make our special dinner even more special. We sat under the tree which was a cool vibe. They have lots of gluten free options. And our sever made extra sure to let us know what could be made gluten free .

Google
The food alone is worth the trip. The flavors are amazing, as is the atmosphere (indoor and outdoor). We were very impressed. The service was nonexistent, and we had to manage the entire meal by calling on staff, when we could find them (I believe it was due to the section in which we were sat). When we did call on staff, they were very pleasant. We will go back because of the food and ambiance, and plan to do so, it is that good.

Came here with some friends for brunch on a Saturday & Javier took care of us. Javier was amazing and just the right amount of tentativeness! The food was delicious, you HAVE to get the Jalapeño Biscuits & gravy. The drinks were delicious as well. We will definitely be coming back! I recommend for Brunch spot!

The place is so so beautiful!!! highly recommend! The food was incredible, I had the risotto and chicken, it was delicious, I also tried some steak and it was a killer! Highly recommend the Dust Devil cocktail, it was spectacular!!

Google
The food was amazing! We enjoyed the great service and the vibe. The waitress Janet was super friendly and thoughtful. We were lucky to have her and thank you for her care and service. Overall waiting time was shorter than I expected. The dessert was great too. My favorite was actually the house salad. The rib was good too! We will definitely come back again.

Yelp
Breakfast menu was broad, patio buildout is lovely, plenty of shade. Although the star of the show is the service. Lily was prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. She anticipated my needs before I did. Bravo.

Yelp
What a ridiculously fun time!!! First, might I tell you guys how AWESOME the 2 Ladies at the front were!? The compliments that they gave me were welcoming and noticed by all! Thanks ladies you are 2 beautiful beautiful humans with great customer service and both had awesome personalities!!! The perfect staff works here folks!!! Our cool waiter was also AWESOME and deserves 7 Months off with pay!!! Our waiter was a vibe, who carried a professional and fun attitude! The waiter took great care of us and deserves every bit of his tips!!! The entire crew does honestly!!! Compliments to the Chef as well! The food was WONDERFUL and peeled apart with juicy flavors! I wanted more more more( In my Chef Ramseys voice) . The food: We had the short ribs which came plated with class and was a great presentation The entire plate was delic!!!! We had the best seat in the house on the patio on a semi cool breezy night! It was just the right crowd! The patio is a vibe in itself!!! I am looking forward to returning here again to have din din and a cocktail or, my limit of 2!!! This will be my new spot to take all of my future guests, dates, boyfriend or husband (whichever comes first) HA Yes yes and yes the perfect spot to laugh, people watch, have cocktails with the fellas/ girls and the perfect date night spot! Makes a perfect engagement spot as well! I love the lemon and orange trees in the vine ceiling of the patio... what a lovely fixture! Thanks for having us! The entire staff deserves an all expense vacation after dealing with a busy hotel evening such as this was!!! What a vibe this is!!! There's plenty of metered parking as well as, free parking all around the area. Walking isn't bad at night as long as, you're with a group or another party. Thanks again guys! Yall ROCK!!!

Yelp
We visited this establishment while attending a convention in Phoenix, AZ. Let me say, I've visited the Phoenix metro area before but not in July with 100+ degres temperatures, topping out at 116. Anyway, nicely designed restaurant with plenty of vegetation positioned throughout presenting an inviting space. On our visit we began with Happy Hour and blended into dinner. For Happy Hour we went with the buffalo cauliflower and loaded guacamole and charred tomato salsa. The paired these with a Chardonnay and an Old Fashioned. All were delicious. For dinner, my wife opted for the baby spinach salad featuring blackberries, candied walnuts, red onion, cucumber, cheese, and fig balsamic vinaigrette. She added a shrimp tostada. I began with Senoran Caesar salad that was simply delicious! It included romaine, queso fresco, mole croutons, cured tomatoes, and roman Caesar dressing. I added the wild Barramundi which was grilled perfectly with artichoke puree, asparagus dusted with paprika, and taragon brown butter. No complaints, what a tasty dish! For dessert, the whoopie pie trio and cotton dream Bundt, delicious! We sat at the bar and transitioned from HH to dinner. The bartender was great multitasking between serving drinks and tracking food orders.

Yelp
Carcara at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix is a hotel restaurant that's worth visiting whether or not you're staying there. I've been there for dinner, but it's been a while and they change their menus often, so let's talk about brunch. Weekend brunch at Carcara is delightful. It's got a good mix of breakfast and lunch items, plus a full alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink menu. The boards are beautiful and impressively large. We tried the Surf board with two different kinds of salmon plus mini bagels and accoutrements like pickled red onion and cucumbers. I know that Carcara likes to incorporate citrus into its offerings, but I wish that the cream cheese was just plain and not citrus-infused. The pork chile verde skillet with eggs, potatoes, cheese and tortillas was delicious and filling, as was the espresso bacon jam short rib burger. (Don't worry--you can't taste any coffee flavor.) We also tried the Over-the-Top Strawberry Muffin, which was fantastic and more like a strawberry shortcake. Mimosas were on point as well. The one drawback of the meal were the gnats that bothered us--they're drawn to the live tree in the center of the restaurant. But they're not enough of a reason to stay away from this great downtown eatery.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful location. Love the atmosphere. Came for a dessert reception and everything they had prepared was delicious, and I definitely tried everything that I could! Lovely patio as well and very friendly service at the bar. I would love to go back for a proper meal to try what else they have to offer. The Sheraton is also a beautiful hotel.

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, LOVELY AMBIANCE, PERFECT SERVICE! EVen better that we could have the drink and order to go, so we sat pool side!! The salad was fresh, filling and made well. Picture perfect!! Salmon was well portioned and the wings were AMAZING!! Located right aside the Sheraton and accessible front the entrance for hotel guest. I had ZERO COMPLAINTS! The front host had our drinks made while waiting for our food and the sitting area was just perfect. Happy Hour specials were also available.

Yelp
Absolutely stunning restaurant. Drove past the outside and decided to go here for breakfast the next day. It was a great choice for brunch. The iced coffees were amazing. Even took them to go. My chilequiles with mole sauce was excellent. Service was wonderful. 10/10.

Yelp
Amazing breakfast menu. Brioche French toast is sublime. Staff is very nice. They make a good bloody maryt

Yelp
Yessss, just go. Give it no thought, just go! Loved it! We sat at the bar and received arrive right away. It was first Friday's and we thought it would be busy, which it was, but there was bar seating. We're re restaurants and weren't sure if we'd be able to eat but I lucked upon two seats and sat right down. The bartenders had great service. We made it in time for happy hour and each had a drink and entree. I had the salad and fries (girl dinner), hubs had the wings and thought they were delicious. They smelled good but no chicken for me. Just go. You'll love it!!

Yelp
We sat at the bar for Happy Hour starts at 4 pm. Great food ,service and enjoying the nice atmosphere .

Yelp
I was out and about and needed some food. I was a bit hungry and needed a bite. This place was the place I happen to stumble upon.. Great atmosphere. Great seating and lovely customer service. Order was taken, and food was served fast. Don't remember what I ordered (my apologies Carcara). But it was delicious! I will be here again and if you're either staying at the hotel or just walking by.. This is a place to come and check out. Thank you Carcara!

Yelp
This was my first time here. The decor is amazing - bright colors, lighting, spacious. There's a very nice outdoor seating area. I'm with a party of about 20. We were seated upon arrival with more than half of the guests present. The staff were friendly. I ordered the Fork Tender Short Rib without mushrooms. It was delicious. Te meat was very tender. The pasta was cooked well. I enjoyed it. Our table ordered the apple pie and it came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We had our server cut it in 4 pieces. I typically do not eat apple pie. This was not super sweet. The crust had a nice flavor. I'm glad I tried it.

Yelp
While attending a conference in Arizona, I stayed at the Sheraton and decided to grab a quick bite at Carracas -- and I'm so glad I did! I sat at the bar for quicker service, and the bartender was excellent -- very attentive and friendly. He recommended a refreshing cocktail that hit the spot perfectly. I ordered a classic burger and fries, and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. The burger was cooked to perfection -- juicy, flavorful, and well-prepared. The fries were crispy, well-seasoned, and honestly better than I expected from a hotel restaurant. Carracas definitely exceeded my expectations. Great service, great food, and a convenient option if you're staying at the Sheraton. Would absolutely dine here again!

Yelp
After a one night stay in downtown Phoenix my husband and I continued our date by riding electric scooters to brunch. @carcaraphx is a beautiful restaurant inside and out. I love a good boho aesthetic. Combine that with good food, perfect weather, and a spacious patio, and I'm a happy girl. We each enjoyed our biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon and sausage. My husband has become a connoisseur of spicy bloody Mary's while I'm becoming the connoisseur of gin cocktails. You can never go wrong with either of those accompanying brunch on a patio. Vibes were 5 star, food was 4 star, but service was 3. The hostess was not friendly and never smiled, barky looking at us. Our older server was sweet and good came out fast, but when it was time to pay our server never returned. He wandered around and we had to go hand the card and check to him Follow @msbusyblonde on Instagram for more AZ fun

Yelp
I went here for breakfast. They sat me pretty quick. Service was super fast. Toast with sunny side up eggs and bacon and hash browns were delicious! Was very good! Very quick! Ambiance is pretty. I would love to go back for dinner sometime.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the open bar / patio ambiance. Especially this time of the year in Phoenix. They were busy but service was prompt. I love Ceviche but not in AZ. I'm used to Ceviche being a chip dip similar to salsa only with fish. Twice now I've ordered Ceviche in AZ and twice now it shows up more as soup. I'm not a fan. I sat at the bar and the other meals around me looked great. Note to self: Don't order Ceviche in AZ!!
google avatar

Harmony D.

Yelp
I came here on a Friday for my friends birthday party. The service was awful, it took forever to order for our group of 10 + and it was impossible to get our bill after. Beautiful location but the food (sea bass, chicken) was average to below average and small portions. For dessert I got the creme brulee and it was spicy which ruined it for me. Overall a very poor experience. The parking for the restaurant is the hotel parking and is validated. Don't make my mistake and park at the public parking, they won't validate it.
google avatar

Cara C.

Yelp
Food was very good and was brought out really quickly. The restaurant had a very urban and trendy atmosphere.

Yelp
Maybe it's just me, but if I ask for a regular margarita with a salt rim ($14) and you make my drink with a SUGAR rim, maybe you apologize? The bartender looked at me like I was a nut when I said this isn't salt, it's sugar. Then he took his finger, grabbed some of the rim and tasted it. Then he said, that's sugar. No apology, no nothing. He remakes the drink then sits it down. After I finished it I asked for my check. He tossed a wood plank with my tab, no thank you, no sorry about the sugar, no acknowledgment of me whatsoever. The bar had 3 other people at it, it wasn't crowded. Don't need to come back. A simple thank you is the very least he could have said, but I guess that was a bridge too far for this dude.

Yelp
The best part of Caracara is the atmosphere. There are lots of really gorgeous lighting fixtures, including some red and green glass fixtures over the bar that almost look like apples and pears. The focus is the giant tree in the middle of the dining room with seating all around it. There are some seating areas with sofas to drink cocktails at and a couple of private rooms. The patio outside is lovely, with lemon trees and plants all around and gorgeous basket weave lighting fixtures. We had a reservation and receded immediately under the big tree in the dining room. Our server was good, despite appearing to be very busy. We ordered a couple of cocktails - -the Bale, which was fantastic with coconut, pineapple, and run, and the Haboob, a fruity and spicy drink. We ordered the Caracara Angus Burger, which is served with some of the best smokey seasoned waffle fries I've ever had. A bonus: a donation is made to the Children's Miracle Network every time one of these burgers is ordered. We also ordered the Fermin Iberico bone-in pork chop with peach chutney. Both were really good. Can't wait to get back there when the weather is cooler to sit in that gorgeous patio and try the sticky shrimp, which looked amazing as it passed us to be served to a different table.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered breakfast. The poached eggs were overcooked. More like a boiled egg out of the shell. Center wasn't soft or runny. Potatoes were over seasoned and over cooked. Sausage was fine. For the price, I expected more.
google avatar

Joani O.

Yelp
I found this spot around the corner from my hotel and made a reservation for breakfast. They have an attractive menu and the breakfast sandwich I had was messy (runny eggs!) but it was excellent! The decor is very artsy and upscale and I loved the ambiance, even in the early morning. Would definitely return.
google avatar

Eric M.

Yelp
Great outdoor seating if you don't mind the vehicles but you are in downtown Phoenix so what do you expect? My wait person was nice and provided great recommendations. Although my mind was made up. Venue is cool.
google avatar

Joshua F.

Yelp
Place is amazing and a stone's throw to Drunken Shakespeare so make a night of it! Start at Carcara though! Friendly service, tasty drinks and even better food.
google avatar

Sarah A.

Yelp
Special shout out to Jessica the server. It was my first time having dinner here and she was honest and gave great recommendations on cocktails and food. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower which was delicious but a little heavy on the batter. I think it would be better with less batter. The margaritas are delicious. I got the prickly pear and tried the traditional margarita. Both were great! Lastly we ended with a New York steak strip that came with broccolini and potatoes. This was pretty big so I shared it with my partner. Overall with one margarita, the buffalo cauliflower and the NY steak, I was super full! These put us around $103 after tax. This is also a stunning restaurant. They have a tree in the center with lights, the wrap around bar is perfect to start your night out downtown and they also have an outdoor patio with a fireplace.
google avatar

Yelp
Staying at the Sheridan for a conference and decided to give this place a try. The space is open and bright. Unfortunately I can't leave a review, i sat there for an extended period and was never approached by a server. Maybe I'll give them another shot.
google avatar

O'Zandra F.

Yelp
I love the large patio! Nice ambiance. Inside, the bar and dining areas are huge. The food is delicious and prepared to order. The staff that I encountered were very pleasant. There is street and garage parking nearby. Accessible entrance.
google avatar

Robert J.

Yelp
Great food. Great drink. But services is super slow. Waited an hour for food. But to be fair I'm sure they were not equipped for the conferancw. But when getting the food it was amazing. Also Management apologized and gave percent off our bill. Big picture enjoy and if they are slow it's still worth it.
google avatar

Amanda A.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday night and got seated right away. The menu has plenty of dairy free and gluten free options which are clearly labeled. I ordered the sweet potato soup and the cashew risotto with chicken. Everything was delicious! My husband ordered the pork chop and he said it was the best pork chop he's had. The decor inside is both fun and elegant. The service was excellent. I will add this to my list of go to places.
google avatar

Melissa K.

Yelp
I've been here twice now and haven't had anything that wasn't amazing. Last time I came for happy hour and had the wings, steak tacos and bread which were all delicious. I've also tried the chocolate cake, yum! This time I had the shrimp tacos which were a perfect lunch dish. Light but still satisfying. The atmosphere is modern and beautiful. A perfect date night or work dinner. Service is always quick and friendly. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
We were watching the Paper Kites last weekend and wanted to avoid the bustle of First Friday on Roosevelt, so the beautiful scenery of this restaurant is what caught my eye. It's at the bottom of the Sheraton hotel and across from Herberger Theater area so it's actually a quite convenient location to be! Then Piestewa cocktail that I ordered had proceeds that helped kids or similar so of course I ordered it! It was flowery and not too sweet. I loved my pan seared mountain trout on top of a bed of cilantro citrus rice. It was really good! I recommend ordering it especially if you wanted something on the lighter fare but still flavorful and still filling without being dense. My hubby had the burger and enjoyed it too. He wasn't that hungry though and shared it with one of our other friends. It's really beautiful in this restaurant. We sat under a giant lighted tree. The bar had glass blown lighting that looked like hanging apples and other fruits. Really aesthetic and inviting even if just grabbing a cocktail and not eating.
google avatar

Grace M.

Yelp
The vibe of this place was stunning!! I loved the lighting, decor, and overall aesthetic! Menu is smaller but has some pretty good options! A little pricey for what some of the portions consist of and my margarita was just average! However, the short rib was DIVINE and was a good portion
google avatar

Raquel A.

Yelp
Met up with some former coworkers for brunch, which was of course fun! The location is right inside the Sheraton downtown and the inside is beautiful! Our server, Janice, was great and dealt with all our demands like a pro! She gave us space, but was always around when we needed her. The food itself was pretty good. We shared the scone trio which was delicious! I'm not sure I could choose a favorite...ok, probably the bacon one. Yum! For my entree I had the frittata. It was pretty good. Others ordered the avocado toast, Buddha bowl, chicken & waffles, and the pork belly sandwich. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, though those who got the chicken & waffles said it was pretty spicy. And nobody at our table enjoyed the pickled strawberries. The drinks were flowing and we enjoyed our time. One coworker and I decided next time we come in for Brunch, we have got to share The Surf! We can't believe we didn't think of it before we ordered today. Overall a good selection and tasty food. They do validate parking in the Sheraton garage, which is great too because finding parking downtown is rough!
google avatar

Beau H.

Yelp
What an incredible experience! We went here format night and were given a great table right under this beautiful tree! And like any magical garden there are magical people. From start to finish Gracie was amazing and took what felt like special one of a kind care of us and let us ask her so many questions while she curated our evening of foods. The starter salad was so large that it could absolutely be a meal but when paced out it's perfectly timed. I had the Cirtus Chicken with roasted carrots and my husband had the short ribs with the most excellent sauce. We ended the meal with a key lime pie and a trio of sorbet - so wonderful! Thank you for everything Gracie. We are so lucky we got you as a server and will be back for sure before our time here in Phoenix concludes.
google avatar

Amanda P.

Yelp
Everything was very beautiful, but I didn't dislike my dish it just wasn't what I expected. Next time I'll get the burger, it looked so good at the table next to us. We shared the pasta and they charged us $6 to split it, which is fine but don't offer to split it if we didn't ask to and then not tell us there's a fee :(

Louise B.

Yelp
Great food!!! We had lunch, brunch and dinner there while in Phoenix. Wait staff were super nice and friendly. Food came out fast and tasted AMAZING!!!! jalapeño biscuit and gravy was delicious, guacamole and salsa was really good too. Love this place.

Yelp
First time at this Restaurant - I remember it used to be another Restaurant. Located on a corner and assessable from the Lobby of The Sheraton Hotel. Good food and beautiful indoor/outdoor vibe. Ask for Fernando - fantastic service ! Kitchen was a little slow but it was Friday night and there were a few large parties (We were a party of 7). Also, there are a few semi private rooms. Street and structure parking for a small fee (it's Downtown)
google avatar

Jay M.

Yelp
Don't let the restaurant in a hotel deter you. First the ambiance was nice. Large open floor plan and they had the large doors open. It was not hot at all. Huge bar with great selection. Our waitress was great. Felt like we were her only table. Service was prompt, and we never had to look for here. We always had what we needed. She had great drink recommendations. Now on to the food. Chilli rubbed Pork belly appetizer was phenomenal. Crispy and spicy and tender. Pork chop was cooked to order. Thing was thick and tender. Would absolutely go back.
google avatar

Paula M.

Yelp
Met some friends here for dinner last night. The vibe is super cool is modern and fun. The interior tree added an extra cool ambience to the interior. We happen to be seated under an air-conditioning vent and it was quite chilly inside. Our server Gracie must've had an off night. She wasn't very attentive and had an attitude. It seems to be a common theme in other reviews as well. Our friends were late but the place was dead so I don't think that was the issue. But you never know. We started off with some tacos, hummus, and wings. The tacos were quite spicy for most of the table. They could not eat them. The hummus was nice with the crackers and good flavor. The wings were excellent, unique flavor and very tasty. Also, the burger and a strawberry margarita, which was good, but if you order a second drink, it does become quite sweet. (that could be a personal thing) All in all we enjoyed most of the food and the atmosphere and would go back again. Ps they have Happy Hour every day!
google avatar

Mary S.

Yelp
Everything i have ever eaten here has been so delish! My favorite is their bread plate. I know very random but it is so good. The only drawback is the hours. This is more a me issue. lol the hours do not fit well in my schedule and when they are open they do not have a full menu for the times I can eat here. I work nearby off hours. They usually open later that and I have to be at work. With that said. I do try to run in whenever I can since the food is so darn good. Service has always been amazing to the point they remember my name the next time I come in. Impressive. Pretty patio and decor. It has always been a great spot to eat. The head chef is always innovative and amazing.
google avatar

Rocko and Melba T.

Yelp
The short rib over tagliatelle was FANTASTIC! A most delicious dish. The meat was cooked to perfection and the cream sauce with mushrooms complimented the dish beautifully. And their chopped salad was amazing, very tasty with lots of savory crunch, and big enough to share with someone. Service was courteous and quick.

Yelp
This place is really beautiful inside & the positioning of the bar is fantastic. Compliments to whoever designed this lovely place. Reminders of Palm Springs mid century. Service was very good. We came here on New Years Eve & there were plenty of spots for happy hour. Prices were reasonable. I had a glass of Chardonnay & my husband had a pinot noir. We liked them. My wine was an oaky blend, which I prefer. The bartender was able to explain the notes of the wine prior to serving. The food: The guac with chips: The jicama & relished red onion really added to the yummy guac. I would order again. Having said that, we really disliked the accompanying salsa. It was almost like a spaghetti sauce. Not a fan. We also had the Al Pastor Meatballs, and both can't wait to eat these again. These lil guys are packed with an array of flavors that can't be beat! We followed with an amazing budino, that had ice cream covered in an orange chocolate sauce. This dessert was pricy at $12.00, but worth every indulgent penny! I have been to Caracara before, and will return!
google avatar

Kevin N.

Yelp
Ate there for lunch - very nice vibe on a very hot PHX day. We both had caesar salads with shrimp and a bottle of wine. The caesar salads were unique with radishes and roasted tomatoes. The salad was a little overdressed but the dressing was great. Only speedbump was the croutons. The croutons were like a sweet cookie cube that didn't really work with the dish. Our service was excellent and we'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Adriana R.

Yelp
Went here for NYE and made a reservation. The ambience and interior design of the restaurant is the main selling point. The margaritas are premade but were pretty delicious. The cauliflower had a solid portion for the price but was a little thick on the batter. The potatoes and broccolini that came with the steak were great but I wasn't overly impressed by the steak itself. Splitting it was perfect portion at least. I'd come here to try different meals again. Shout out to our waitress Jessica who was so polite and fun to talk to!

Katie W.

Yelp
We celebrated Thanksgiving at Carcara and just returned for their Easter brunch. The food is excellent. The service is top notch and they are super accommodating for dietary restrictions. Great atmosphere and a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Eniola I.

Yelp
First, the aesthetic were really classy and elegant since it's around downtown. Second, the service could've been better. There were couple of times where they forgot our sides with our orders, but you know that happens in restaurants a lot. Lastly, the food was ok, but not excellent.

Marvin R F.

Yelp
I was very disappointed on my Father's Day Brunch that was not available at Carcara, we were here last Easter & enjoyed the brunch. My Wife booked it & when we arrived there was no brunch service even though it was advertised as a $119.00 per person. Very disappointed that it was cancelled without notice, we could've booked Wren & Wolf. Another issue was that we had about 3 1/2 pancakes, pork sausage, & turkey bacon left to be boxed up, we received only the pancakes in our to go box. I'd recommend if you're not going to have brunch on a special occasion in the future that you notify guests beforehand, as I stated we had other choices for a Father's Day Brunch!

Yelp
Great service and really delicious food. Lots of GF options, including for dessert, and even mocktails. I got the short rib and my coworker got the shrimp and both were absolutely delicious. Guac is fantastic too!

Yelp
We tried Carcara for the first time during AZ Restaurant Week and it was phenomenal. All the food dishes we ordered were flavorful and delicious. My cocktail (the kingman) was the only thing I wouldn't order again. It was incredibly bland compared to my husband's spicy margarita, so we ordered another one of those to share. The gulf shrimp ceviche and corn soup were great starters. The short rib and scallops were well prepared, juicy, and scrumptious.
