Carette Paris is a bit on the expensive side, but the food and overall experience make it worthwhile. The brunch menu had great variety, and everything we tried was flavorful and beautifully served. The real standout, though, was their signature hot chocolate—thick, rich, and absolutely indulgent. It’s clear why it’s what they’re known for. Perfect spot for a relaxed, upscale brunch in Paris.

Great cafe which was recommended to us to visit whilst in Paris. It looked busy but was able to accommodate us quickly with no wait. It has rained that day so outside the floor was wet but it didn’t bother us. You are pushed close together but this is the same in most Parisian cafes. Hot chocolate cost €12 each and the crepes were around €11 which was the perfect combination. I have a Hotel Chocolat velvetiser at home and it doesn’t even compare to this 😍 Whilst you may think €12 can initially be expensive it’s worth the experience, paired with whipped cream it’s heavenly. Of course many go there to take photos because that’s the experience they desire but you don’t feel overwhelmed with it. Fresh pastry’s will sell out early but plenty of desserts inside. Toilets can also be found inside. About a ten minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and you get a view from the opposite side which is beautiful.

By far the best hot chocolate in Paris! It’s in a touristy area and so there is a wait line but it is worth it! The service was very nice and I enjoyed my dining experience! This will always be on my list when visiting!

We arrived at 9:30, Sunday morning and waited in line for 30 minutes. We both had the hot chocolate and a crepe. Wow, very rich and the whipping cream is light and fluffy. We should have only ordered one as we didn’t finish it all but worth the visit. The crepe was a perfect addition. Staff are very professional and service was prompt. We really were anticipating this and were not disappointed.

Waited about 20 minutes for the outside seating for breakfast. The scrambled eggs with ham and cheese was soft in the middle and was cooked to perfection. The croissant was also good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I was afraid Carette would not live up to the hype but was quite pleased, and would definitely recommend it.

Best cafe in Paris (for tourists)! I cannot fault their service, presentation or food and beverage quality. Even though this restaurant is extremely busy due to the location and popularity. They have made each visit spectacular… our host kept everyone in the queue upbeat with his humour so the wait didn’t feel as long! Then when we were seated our server continued the comical efforts and we enjoyed the pastries and THE best hot chocolate I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking with the traditional whipped cream! I strongly recommend if you wish to indulge your tastebuds. We will be back soon!

I went there to try famous hot chocolate and it was amazing, it was so rich and with the view and un croissant/eclairs made it even better. However, it took some time for the staff to come and took our orders, moreover we haven’t finished our chocolate and breakfast yet but they came to is and asked to pay the bill. We were there approximately 1-1.30 (including the time to take our orders and serving time) so i think we did not sit that LONG to rush us to pay and leave. I know it’s famous, it’s actually worth to try and my review might not change their service as there are a lot of demand, but yes just to share my experience here without any bias.

Well known cafe in Paris right across from the Eiffel Tower. The place gets super busy during the day and lineups can take long. We visited it during the night so got in quick. The crepes were good, the chocolate dip was delicious and has a good vibe. The server messed up our order hence 4 stars.
