Had a craving for Hakka food, and decided to give this place a shot. There weren't many pictures on here, but the menu looked enticing.
FOOD:
Even though we ordered via delivery, the items were still warm and appropriately crispy when they arrived. The Caribbean Fried Rice was decent, perhaps overshadowed by the much more flavourful dishes we also ordered. The Veg stir-fry was on point, and came with a nice variety of vegetables (broccoli, red pepper, bok choy, baby corn, and celery).
The Ginger Chicken in gravy was as good as hoped, and unlike similar places actually had CHICKEN in the chicken...So it wasn't just fried batter like a lot of places do it. The Spicy Ginger Beef kept its promise of spiciness, and the strips of beef were tender as well. Needed some of the accompanying white rice to go with this.
The star of the show for me though was the Chicken Pakora - the batter was fried just right, and stayed crispy despite the hot sauce drenched over it, which also complimented it well. As mentioned, all of the serving sizes were fair.
VERDICT:
There's still many items on the fairly diverse menu that sound good, so I will definitely try this place again.
