Stopped by and ate with the whole family. They have a well priced family course meal, which was more than enough for our family of 5. Mr. Lou was very nice to everyone, and got our table setup real nicely. This is our new favorite Haitian Food spot.

This spot is a hidden gem!!! Whomever is behind that lil curtain is doing it!!! It's extremely difficult to find authentic Caribbean foods here in Marietta, so trying this place was taking a chance! A Pleasant Surprise this was!! I Love the guy who takes the orders during the week🥰He's always very pleasant and inviting...definitely added to my reason for returning!! The food has been very consistent. I usually get the Salmon Dinner cooked soft with the Black Rice and Cabbage instead of salad. I've also ordered the fried Turkey 🍗 and Fried Goat 🐐 😋 👌🏾 Both are great! It's definitely where I go to feel like I'm back home in South Florida 😌

First time customer. The cashier was sweet. Food was fast and fresh and it taste amazing. I had the salmon, it came with djon djon, a side salad onions peppers, pikliz and plaintain. I ordered a side of plantain because I didn’t know if came with it. Will definitely return. #satisfied thank you.

Google
Amazing Haitian food, the griyo and diri djon djon was excellent. Luben was a gentleman and entertained us with conversations and music. Bon bagay! Can’t wait to be back.

My husband brought me here and the food was absolutely amazing. The presentation was beautiful, rice cooked to perfection, griot was tender, and the banan was crispy. The gentleman was so kind and friendly taking our orders. I had to personally thank the chef! 10/10 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Google
$26 for two oxtails and two chunks of fat. I don’t care how much “flavor” ppl say the fat gives, I don’t eat it, it’s nasty. And the oxtails still had no flavor. Then I didn’t even realize until I got home that I didn’t get cabbage with my oxtails, they gave me potatoes and Cole slaw. I don’t even eat Cole slaw. Then you charge extra for a tiny container of watery gravy. I just wanted some gravy to go over all this dry rice since you put the oxtails in a separate container. Then these flat hard plantains are bland. You charge $15 for a side of jerk chicken only that’s dried out. Curry chicken has no flavor. Everything is over-priced and not worth the extra money. A waste of $70. Then I had to wait 30 mins for my food.

The food is SO GOOD! And the portions are huge. Everyone there is so incredibly sweet and helpful. Big smiles everywhere. One of them even helped me out to my car with all my food. The sauces are amazing. I got the fried snapper with plantains and black rice. It also came with a salad. Don’t miss out on the soursop juice too. Shout out to Loubens for letting me know this gem exists!

Yelp
This place was highly recommended by a Haitian man that I was speaking with earlier. He said this place has the BEST Haitian food around. I decided to give it a try and ordered the Stew Turkey with black rice and plantains (his recommendation). I also ordered curry chicken, rice and peas and plantains for my husband. The presentation of the food was lovely but the taste was just average to us. It wasn't bad but just didn't have enough flavor for us. A little bland.

Yelp
I really wanted to try it. REALLY BAD! They came highly recommended. I don't have a complaint, more like a suggestion. They prices vs food options were lacking. The price of the plates we reasonable until I found out that they didn't come with any sides, just rice. They have plantains on the menu but were out. Or I could only get them if I ordered a specific plate. So I tried to order on the side and they said they don't have enough to make a side order. But it's on the menu. Cabbage is on the menu but they said they don't have that either. In most places I can pay more and get a mixed plate. Being that the restaurant was empty I think 1. They could have done whatever to satisfy me or/and put the option to mix meats on the plates. Just my suggestion. I'll call before I come next time to see if any changes have been made because I really wanted to try it!

Yelp
Wonderful find in Powder springs. I felt like I was back in South Florida . Missed Haitian food and good Kompa vibes. Great service.

Yelp
Today we decided to stop by a get some Haitian food. It took forever for us to order as the young lady was not familiar with the menu and had to ask about everything. We arrived at 6:15 pm and we did not get our order until 7:05 pm. There are no public restrooms so while you wait your 45 minutes plus for your food, I hope you don't have to go. I originally raved about this restaurant and how amazing the food is to any and everyone. After today, I will not say anything. I am not sure if they need help or what has happened but the food no longer has the layers of flavor that you come to expect with Haitian food. Even the griot tasted bland. How can griot taste bland? The rice was not very good. I hate that I am writing this bc I loved the food so much before. I am not sure what happened but we will not be coming back.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant several times and am back again and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and authentic Haitian cuisine. My husband is Haitian and can vouch for the authenticity. The food is always fresh and I always end up taking some home because the portions are plentiful. Sonia, the owner, provides great customer service. There are 3 different rice choices but my favorite is the black rice. I highly recommend if you're looking for a great Caribean spot.

Yelp
I came here without reading the reviews because it has 4 stars (wonder how). I ordered Oxtail and Curry goat. Tasted the curry goat. I was hit with the greatest amount of SALT my body has ever consumed at a time. I tasted the oxtail and it tasted like soy sauce mixed with BBQ sauce. Took a bite of the beef patty and it tasted like butter, suet mixed with cardboard. This is literally the worst food I have spent my money on. Not only am I still hungry, I feel robbed and swindled. These people have a Jamaican food menu and not only does it not remotely taste Jamaican, it is not even editable. I typically don't leave restaurant reviews because I am honestly lazy but I don't think these folks should run a restaurant. You are WARNED!

Yelp
I used this resturant to cater my husbands graduation party and everyone raved about how great the food was! It was one of the highlights! Thank you so much Ms Sarah for working with me!

Yelp
Full menu not available only had goat and turkey. Goat was super tough and dry. Plantain was interesting. Smashed plantain, but I prefer sweet plantain. Rice and peas were average. Asked for a side of pickliz, but received a tomato and cucumber salad in vinegar instead. It was mushy and seemed to be sitting in fridge for way too long.

Yelp
Caribbean spice is a new Haitian spot in Marietta and I'm so glad it exists. Soo, the owner is the sweetest. I really loved her hospitality even though she was short staffed. Not going to lie, we waited a bit for our food, but the food is excellent. It's a buffet if you eat in and you get certain meats. I got the fried fish and griot. I love Haitian food so much and they got it right for sure. They also have fresh juices like passion fruit and mango. All of this is at such a reasonable price. The only con to this is that since it's really new, she doesn't have a set menu and I think there's a lot of stuff that she's still working out. But I gave five stars because the food is great and the hospitality is awesome. Even if there's some Haitian dish you want that's not on the menu, she is willing to make it for you if you call in advance. I will be back.

Yelp
After trying to catch these folks open for business for the past 2 weeks - I finally decided to just make a special trip up there to get a menu or a phone number or something! The owner seemed friendly enough, but she said they didn't have any 'to go' menus yet. When I asked if I could just snap a pic of the regular dine-in menu, she didn't have any of those either. She gave me a postcard for the 'free tasting event' they did back on July 31(see pic), but a) the event was 2 weeks ago, b) there is no menu on it, c) the website listed is a dead / inactive site and d) it's missing a phone number (so she wrote the number on a scrap of paper). I was really left scratching my head as to why she gave me the postcard. Here's what I discovered: It's a buffet - and they're marketing it as a Creole - Caribbean fusion. The music was EXTREMELY loud. The music coupled with owner's accent made it a bit difficult to understand her. For instance, when I was asking about the menu, she said, "We wanted to wait to get everything perfect, but we don't really need menus. It's a buffet - so we will basically have the same things - like fried turkey, fried fish, grilled fish, vegetables and salad." And so I said, "Oh - the fried turkey sounds good!" And then she said, "We don't have that tonight." Lol. There were only 2 or 3 tables with 2 chairs a piece. And a few upholstered armchairs up front. So I'm thinking this is gonna be more of a takeaway spot. I can't give them 5 stars because: 1) I didn't have the opportunity to try the food. This is literally the first time I've ever ventured into a Caribbean restaurant and was not offered a sample. Lol. Maybe now that I've gotten so chubby, restaurateurs are afraid that I'm gonna be greedy and ask for a bunch of additional samples. LMBO. Or maybe I looked too 'broke' to afford the food. I did have on sweats, an old t-shirt and my hair was a bit shady looking. Lol. 2) The music was way too loud. It was too loud during our brief conversation - and it would make normal conversation nearly impossible if you were dining in. 3) When I asked about a menu, or social media page with a pic of the menu and mentioned that the website was down - the owner kept repeating that they were going to 'do all of that' - but wanted to get everything 'perfect' first. I don't think I'm in the minority when I say, in this day and age, if you're opening a restaurant or any business - at the very least you create some sort of web presence that says 'coming soon' - to give people an idea of what type of food you're offering, along with price points, etc. It doesn't have to be an actual website, but give us a Instagram, Facebook, something . . . How can people come out to support you if they don't know you're here?! :)That's actually why I created this entry - to give them some sort of web presence and a forum for others to give feedback. If I'd had a phone number for them - I would have been able to call in an order of something basic - and just swing by to pick up. Wrapping up - this really should be more of a 3 star review (A-OK); or 2 star review (I've experienced better - because of loud music, no contact info and no samples) review. But I don't think it would be cool to give them a 2 star rating without having tried the food. 4 stars means I'm a fan - and I'm a fan of all new businesses - especially privately owned, Mom & Pop businesses. Lol. I'll stop back in later this week to give them a try. And I'll update this review accordingly.

Yelp
Oxtails are on point!!!!! Must try the oxtails, meat was cooked to perfection and falling off the bone. I found myself smacking.

Yelp
It was my first time here. I ordered the fried pork and rice and peas... delicious! I'm originally from Miami and the food (and music) reminded me of home. I'm glad I decided to stop by today. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

Yelp
I am Haitian and I will never buy food from here again. My family and I were visiting from Florida and was hoping for some authentic Haitian food but were highly disappointed. I still regret the money we spent to eat here. Not worth it.

Yelp
In love this place. Will literally drive from Midtown to get her food. The owner is really nice and knows how to prepare good authentic Haitian and other Caribbean option food. She has food for everyone, rather you are doing keto or a vegan. She doesn't mix the food, so you don't have to worry Chicken sauce being mixed in your vegan meal. Definitely stop by if you're in this area or just want some good food.

Yelp
I couldn't wait for this place to open. Finally new food in the area! It's buffet style Caribbean cuisine, only limited by your ability to eat. I ordered to go, (Rice, beans and plantains). The owners were delightful, and extremely accommodating. They advised there would be more pescatarian options coming to the menu. The food was delicious. I would return just for the beans and rice!!!!

Essence T.

Yelp
I came to this establishment with my friend mid afternoon. The service was regular, staff acted as if they had an attitude with us as soon as we walked in. Upon receiving my food, which I ordered the jerk chicken meal.. it was ice cold. I immediately asked for a refund and even with them knowing my food was cold (not warm) ICE COLD, they still gave us an attitude. Never going here again!

Keana E.

Yelp
Best Caribbean food in Cobb! They give large portions and they are pretty quick too and always fresh.

Ari T.

Yelp
The BEST Griot and Pikliz I have ever had in my life. I'm so glad to know this place is at the front of my neighborhood !! Very nice owner as well :)

Willy W.

Yelp
Great place good food nice people traveling from MA and it's hard to found a place without bad attitude service in most places in GA and the food was delicious

Tiffany B.

Yelp
The BEST Haitian restaurant!!!! I went yesterday and ordered EVERYTHING off the menu and it was amazing! You won't be disappointed.

Evens C.

Yelp
It's a buffet style restaurant($10 with drinks) unless you want the daily specials which are a little more expensive. The food was delicious and the owner was inviting. My wife and the kids loved it. We bought the fried pork and rice with beans. I also had the white rice with the beans on the side. No complaints there either. Coming from South Florida where island food has no shortage, it's been hard finding a decent place to eat in metro Atlanta when we don't feel like cooking. This may be my family's spot. This restaurant opened recently and they have a suggestions box. Give them some time to improve on some things. I'll go there again because the food is good.
