I’ve been coming to Caribe Restaurant for over 5 years, and it’s always been an exceptional experience. The food is absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor, and the cleanliness is impeccable—something that matters a lot to me. The customer service is excellent, the staff is friendly and attentive, and one of the things I love most is that it’s a place where you can actually have a conversation. Unlike many noisy restaurants, Caribe offers a peaceful environment where you can enjoy your meal without shouting over music or crowds. As someone who works closely with clients every day, I know how important it is to feel welcomed. Caribe Restaurant delivers that every time, and that’s why I wholeheartedly recommend it—whether for a date, a quick lunch, or a relaxing break in the middle of a busy day. Thank you for always maintaining quality and great service. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Empanadas were okay, nothing to write home about. Great service. Provided menu suggestions, quick service. Delicious butter bread while you wait for you food. Cuban sandwich was delicious. Recommend. I’ll probably be back tomorrow!

Google
Quick and friendly service from our waitress Beatrice :) the restaurant has convenient parking right outside. I had the “Pan con Bistek” which translates to bread with steak. It was an interesting kind of sandwich because it had little fries in it, the steak was thinly sliced - this was amazing for me. The sandwich is highly recommended! My friends had rice dishes and they loved their dishes as well, id definitely come back here

Google
Great service, the waitress informed us on the dishes and gave great recommendations. I got the fried pork and it was delicious with the rice, sooo good! Hope to come back with more friends in the future so they enjoy it as much as I did.

Google
It was pretty good but the servings have gotten smaller over time if I'm bieng honest , decent service and the food is good but was a bit salty on my last visit , I would come eat again.

Google
I have been going to Caribe restaurant since they opened. I have never had a problem. Their food and service have been perfect until now. Today I placed an order and they added ingredients that I did not ask for. I called and spoke to someone that said her name was Monica. When I complained about what happened she would not let me finish explaining. All she would do was argue and hang up the phone on me. All I was trying to tell her was that I didn’t want my money or anything else but she would not let me finish talking. She would literally hang up the phone. Customers should be listened to and she would not let me talk. The owner needs to implement Customer Service to his employees

First time in Miami and I enjoyed the food here! I got the grilled chicken with Moro rice and plantains were delicious. The lemonade was amazing. Definitely a fave❤️

Yelp
Food was amazing. We tried a cuban tamale, beef empanada, shredded chicken with rice and beans, The Miami cuban sandwich and sweet plantains. Service was great, very attentive waitress and the manger came to check on us as well. 10/10 recommend

Yelp
The first time I ate here there was a long hair in my scrambled eggs and the manager suggested I brought it with me. I swore to never return but my boyfriend likes this place. Second time he was sick and insisted on soup from here. The person signed my to go check instead of letting me do it. Now I'm here a third time for a pickup order and the atmosphere is apathetic. Placed order waited and waited. They brought one thing from my order . I asked for the rest. She had no idea. She put it on the counter and then nothing. After some time I had to finally ask what was happening with my order and they finally gave me the last two items, but by then the soup was cold. Meh

Yelp
Went to eat here during a visit to Miami. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. I just think that for the location this place is overprice. We spent $100 during lunch for 3 people and didn't drink alcohol. I had the fried fish and it was great. The ambience was nice and family oriented.

Yelp
It's quite an unsuspecting Cuban restaurant! But they definitely mostly serve regulars and it helps to know a little Spanish as most servers admitted English wasn't the best, though they tried their best! We ordered the mofongo (cooked plantain), boliche asado (Cuban pot roast), and the chicken Milanese. The chicken is definitely Cuban as there was some ham in between the layer of cheese and chicken. Everything was pretty good except the chicken came undercooked in the middle. They were really apologetic and remade the entire dish which was a nice gesture. The portion size was also very generous and we were so full after finishing! The decor is very old school but it was clean and simple.

Yelp
I ordered from this place for the first time and this is the garbage i received. It literally smelled like garbage, and to the garbage it went. You ought to me ashamed to send this shit to people GFY

Yelp

Yelp
Most disappointing Lunch ever at a run down Cuban cafe Pros side salad was big and had decent amount of tomatoes and even had a few cucumber slices Cons $30 for lunch with out tip Vacafrita de pollo was half bones and couldn't finish it I still have a small bone stuck in my throat $2 up charge if you want a coconut flan rather than a regular flan Cafe tasted like old beans I still tipped solid because it's not the waitresses fault Still not done $30 lunch and cafe came in a styrofoam cup lol Place is a joke I wonder if the regulars have the same bill ? I used to love to come here when I was in the area never again... they also add a credit card fee if you pay in card I am pretty sure they charge to use the restroom

Lois H.

Yelp
Fabulous. It's just a little restaurant in a small strip mall. But well worth the trouble to get here. Awesome Cuban Sandwich. My husband had Palomia (thin steak) with plantains. They substituted mashed potatoes for the rice. No problem. Very attentive waitresses, too. Highly recommend the food!!

Yelp
Better than Rinconcito ! Delicious Pollo a la Brasa and savory black beans. Good prices and good Cafe Cubano. What else is there ! Good neighborhood place to eat casual.

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Great prices. Can't beat it. Authentic Cuban food. I chose this place in Miami over the others. I picked well. Also the Cuban Coffee is fire.

Yelp
I haven't been here in a while. They used to make great food. Went today with my mom and grandma, the waitress did an excellent job. Unfortunately the food wasn't as great as before. My mother ordered cod fry ( Fritura de Bacalao) now I am not sure if they were old or if they knew how actually make this but it was terrible. You couldn't cut into it and it didn't taste anything like cod fish. The sauce that it comes with in my opinion has to much horseradish. I ordered two Colombian empanadas. One meat and the other chicken. It looked good they had just come out of the frier. Now the Ernest empanada didn't taste like anything and the meat was gray. I was to scared to taste the chicken cause on the inside it looked terrible. My grandmother order the Yellow Rice with Chicken ( Arroz con Pollo) she barely touched it. I tried it and it didn't taste like Anything, it just had a weird aftertaste. My mother ordered ground beef with white rice and black beans. Also terrible the ground beef didn't look or taste like ground beef. It didn't even have the texture of ground beef. The black beans were probably from cans because they didn't have any flavor and it had a sour after taste. I think they might have gone bad. I had the Mofongo with pork chunks. It's was good, they gave you a lot of pork. The pork tasted really good and the mofongo was alright. I won't be back because the food is definitely not worth it. No he estado aquí en mucho tiempo. No podías cortarlo y no sabía nada a bacalao.

Yelp
Ok so I came here for my lunch I got the pechuga de pollo a la plancha with rice beans and maduros I used to come here all the time because the food was fresh and good however todays experience was the worst I got a super tiny piece of chicken breast and when I asked my waiter about it she said she didn't know that they cut it in the back also came with a lime the lime was brown and instead of adding flavor to the food it made it worse honestly they lost a costumer for good because I'm never returning to this place again
google avatar

Mike G.

Yelp
Nice local cuban spot filled with traditional dishes such as ropa vieja, maduros, pescado frito and cuban sandwiches. Great value, service and vibe!

Yelp
The Mrs. & I went to this place solely on a recommendation from our UBER driver that stated that it is much better than La Rosa Restaurant. Unfortunately, we-110%, disagree with that UBER driver. La medianoche that I ordered was not good at all and had this "off" carne de puerco taste and smell that completely threw me off and didn't finished it at all. My wife's plate was better, maybe because it is much harder to ruin a chicken entree, but, my wife thought that it could've been much better. Overall, I can't recommend this place because it honestly wasn't worth the time. The only reason why I gave this establishment 2 stars instead of 1 was for the price range; very reasonable.

Yelp
The mufongo was delicious! I haven't had it in a few years since moving to Alaska so when I saw it on the menu I had to give it a try. I had the mufungo with shrimp and garlic and I recommend it. The wait staff doesn't speak English or at least they didn't have anyone while we were there. I'm okay with that. We had fun trying to communicate.
google avatar

Yelp
Mediocre to Ok!! Service is slow. The owners walking around casually and only has one lady at the window/ lotto window/front of restaurant doing everything and no one is helping her trying to attend 10 people. Food is ok . Cuban and Latin food. They have good frituras se bacalao

Yelp
This is a cheap eats favorite among the locals. I love the options something for everyone. Come super hungry, no problem, you will still leave with another meal of leftovers. The portions are beyond huge at some of the cheapest prices. This is where the locals come after work, during lunch, first thing for breakfast or with the whole family. Tables are easily moved around to accommodate the whole family, even the high chairs are readily available. Again, servers try to speak English and the menu is bilingual. If you can speak Spanish, great, but no worries, point and ask for your meal in English and the service will still be friendly. These servers are trained to make sure you have a full glass of water, and fresh warm Cuban bread. Need something else, just look up, someone will come over and get it for you. Don't forget the desserts too. As a Yelper, you get a free one when you spend $15 which is probably a meal for two. I must say the breakfast is my favorite meal here for the omelettes are huge and you can see and taste all the ingredients. Again dinner is good too, with large portions, but I do favor their Spanish breakfast. Great service, Fantastic prices, and delicious food! Excellent!

Yelp
After searching for a spot close to my hotel, this place seemed good enough to get food to go. It seemed busy which is always a good sign in my opinion. Ordered at the window and it came out within a good ten minutes. I ordered grilled chicken breast with rice and plantains. Portions are huge, and of course I had leftovers for the next day! Everything was cooked perfectly. Also got a juice but it tasted too sugary and didn't taste fresh enough. I'd come back!

Yelp
I found this restaurant on the Upside app. It is a small place hidden in the corner of a small multi-business building on W. Flagler Ave in Miami. The outside is not impressive, but the food. . . Awesome! It is family run and the staff is like visiting family. They weren't busy and I ended up staying over an hour after my meal talking with the owner and staff; a wonderful, multi-cultural experience that could be a small book. My dinner, a Sunday/Domingo special was Filete de Pescado Rebosado (fish fillet dipped in butter.) Black beans, rice and a side salad. The fish was perfectly cooked, the beans were like nothing I had ever had before. I finished the meal with a café cubano, the perfect ending to a wonderful experience. I only wish I lived closer so I could visit often. My thanks to Raisa, Henry, Talaima for a truly delightful experience!

Yelp
Great service and tasty food. Both the one on NW 7 st and the one on SW137 Ave wee great

Yelp
Loved it! They seem to have some issues keeping orders straight, the brought out the wrong sandwich the first time and I heard many other folks whose orders weren't right but that's pretty minor to me. If I was doing takeout I'd just make a note to check the order before you leave. I (eventually) got the Cuban sandwich and it was great! This sandwich could easily feed two people along with a side, I didn't order any sides and barely finished it. Easily 1/2 to 3/4# of meat, melted swiss, and mustard with just enough pickles to give it some acid to cut through all the protein (maybe just a few more pickles would have been good, but no complaints). Staff were all wonderful and very kind! This place is going on my list for future visits. They have a list of daily specials and it is basically a new menu every day in and of itself, I want to try it all

Yelp
We've been coming to El Caribe for years & luckily, it NEVER changes! Solid Cuban food that's super affordable & super tasty. I love how, while keeping it traditional, they also jeep up with the times, adding healthier items to the menu. This past weekend, my father, sister & I met for breakfast. My dad had the Caribe Breakfast (Two Eggs, choice of Ham or Bacon, two Pancakes, Toast and Cafe con Leche) & my sister had the Especial (Two Eggs Fried or Scrambled with Ham, Sausage or Bacon, Toast and Cafe con Leche) & a side of grits. I chose the Revuelto con Espinaca, Cebolla, Aji, y Tomates (Two Scramble Eggs with Spinach, with Onions, Green Peppers and Tomatoes, Toast and Coffee) & a side of their very tasty & well sazonado (seasoned) home fries. I substituted French bread toast instead since Cuban bread has lard & switched my cafe con leche for a cafecito cubano. Also added a fresh squeezed orange juice. We were all VERY full & VERY happy with our choices. Consistently good, home-style food with great service too!

Yelp
Don't ever order delivery. I live 5 minutes away and it took 1.5 hours to get here with some stupid story that they had him delivering an order that was out of the district first. Food is okay.
google avatar

Yelp
There's a lot of Cuban restaurants to choose from in Miami area but this place is pretty solid for a quick bite. Located in a small strip mall, offers good Cuban comfort food. Staff is very nice and talkative, they always have good daily specials, place mainly has locals and it's usually packed during lunch time. Some of my favorite things to order are the tostones rellenos de picadillo and the camarones empanizado ( fried shrimp ). I like it with white rice and French fries but there's different sides you can choose from. Parking is an issue in this strip mall because it's a busy with a lot of push traffic within the different stores and it has limited parking.

Lazaro H.

Yelp
Good morning! My Cousin big Pete eats every morning at Caribe and he's gained about 80 pounds and lives with his Mami at 56 years old at his Mami's house and drives a bread truck

Mirtha L.

Yelp
Since the owner no longer goes to location the staff is horrible and service is terrible!!! Paid for cantina which never arrived, when I contacted them took over an hour on hold to say they had called (which never happened). At that time was told unable to deliver to my address(which they have done a lot of times). Waiting for my money back , very disappointed with this restaurant! Will never order or go to this restaurant again!!

Nicolas V.

Yelp
Only two stars, these guys are charging you a fee if you pay with CARD, this is not right, like many other businesses they are taking advantage of the situation, the greed of the owners is incredible even with the fact they have been successful. This charge is going to affect the tip for the delivery people, waitresses and they too.

Mildre G.

Yelp
Crappy service and food. Specially near closing time. Management isnt helpful either.
google avatar

Mariela R.

Yelp
This place is a love hate for me. I used to love this place they were super lovely and clean but when ordered the breaded fish i found a roach inside of it. I was dissapointed because its a very nice place but now i only go for coffee in the morning
google avatar

Michelle P.

Yelp
Came here because my Cuban parents insist this is the best Cuban food in Miami. Was fortunate enough that one of the daily specials was 'tamal en cazuela' (corn in a pot, basically) and it was the best tamal en cazuela I've tried to date--the proof is that they already serve it with maduros (sweet plantains) on the side--the pairing is immaculate. However, the roast pork wasn't citrusy/marinated deeply enough (even after my partner squeezed 4 lime wedges onto it), the moros were more red beans & rice than actual moros, and the boliche I had was lackluster. Caribe definitely has all of the Cuban deep cuts on the menu, the staff were diligent, and the ambience was clean and not unpleasant. But..unless you have a hankering for tamal en cazuela, it's not the actual best Cuban food in Miami (sorry Mom + Dad).
google avatar

Erika L.

Yelp
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this restaurant! I was never approached or given a menu. The waitresses proceeded to walk pass me several times. After 10 minutes of waiting I left. I am a black woman, and I did notice that the only people being served where light skinned, Spanish speaking people. If you are a black person, avoid!
google avatar

Rachel P.

Yelp
Cannot complain about this place at all. Prices are amazing, food is good and fast. Everything I've had here is fresh and tasteful. Place isn't too modern, but it is clean. One of my go-to spots for a quick Cuban dinner.
google avatar

Lisandra P.

Yelp
This Caribe location is the best one , the food is always good and customer service is on point . I like how the manager comes to all the tables and asks how everything is going.

Pat C.

Yelp
Doesn't matter when i go here, breakfast, lunch or dinner, the coffee and food is fantastic. The service is just as great!!
google avatar

Miriam M.

Yelp
The food here is delicious and affordable. I ordered the steak with peppers with white rice from Uber eats and it was delicious. This motivated me to go in-person and dine in. The staff is very friendly and attentive. This time I ordered the vaca frita and let me tell you it was delicious. I also had the empanadas for appetizer, they were out of this world!
google avatar

Karina M.

Yelp
La comida es buena pero as veces está muy grasosa. Yo recomiendo el pollo en la plancha con verduras.

Orr R.

Yelp
Wait time is horrid. Servers are never attentive and not worth the hassle when there are so many other similar or likely better Cuban places to eat
google avatar

Michael - Mickey A.

Yelp
Great spot for breakfast. Came here and was greeted quickly by one of the waitress, Mabel, she was pleasant and quick with water, cafe and the food. Would recommend. Breakfast was under $7 and that was two fried eggs, ham, home fries, Cafe Con Leche and Cuban toast.
google avatar

Miah L.

Yelp
My husband and I have become quite fond of this restaurant in the last two months. We've eaten here 5 times, two of which were for delivery. Every time, the food was hot, delicious, and a large portion. We always ask for Ricardo, who is not only bilingual (great for me, who only speaks Spanish), he is well versed on their huge menu. The manager often makes his rounds asking everyone how their food is, and if you check in on yelp you get a free dessert! As if great food and great service weren't enough, this place is so affordable! Two meals, two drinks, an appetizer, and a yelp-earned dessert always comes out to about $25-$30. We like to leave $40, including tip. To parents with a 4 month old, this is money well spent, since time and the luxury of warm food is very rare these days! Favorites so far are: -milanesa de pollo (a chicken cutlet, breaded in cornmeal/crackermeal, topped with ham and melted cheese). -vaca frita (shredded lean beef, marinated in lemon and garlic, then fried flat, and flipped once). -masas de puerco (pork pieces that have marinated in a mix of lime and orange juice, then boiled until they are tender, and flash frozen). Enjoy!
google avatar

Yogi Y.

Yelp
The food and attention here is great, i was going to give it 3 stars cause the time it took to get food. But my breakfast was just right. And the fried ham was out of hands better than bacon!
google avatar

Jennyfur J.

Yelp
The dishes are full of flavor. Family friendly environment. Huge portions for great price. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
first things first... a joke. Oh look another latin Restaurant in Miami. All jokes aside this place is always packed! Whats that mean? Its good! Typical food that you would see in any other latino cafe plus more! They have a different menu and good. Great prices, amazing services, these ladies are on top of their game. My server made my 7 year old feel like that was his abuela. You win my kids, you win Mami too.

Juan C.

Yelp
Excellent food and the service was fantastic, the prices are awesome in the low range for the quality of authentic Caribbean food!!!!! I'am from California and I'am very well traveled around the country.
google avatar

Emma F.

Yelp
We order at work from Caribe i will say at least twice a week sometimes way more . I love the mofongo it's amazing . The platter that is Mofongo Relleno de Masas de Puerco is amazing . Las tronchas fritas de pescado with tartar sauce white rice and tostones are my other favorite plates to order .
google avatar

Lisandra C.

Yelp
I love this place... all there food is on point, my boyfriend and I whenever we want cuban food we order or come here to eat. This time we order palomilla con arroz congris and ensalada and also garbanzos frito con arroz blanco y platanito maduro and omgg it was delicious ...

Elen G.

Yelp
Love the food here! I recommend their Ajiaco... to die for. Overall all the food is great.
google avatar

Deby V.

Yelp
Order from here for breakfast a lot. Best empanada is the chicken empanada, so full chicken and flavorful. I have tried both chicken and beef. Also had their toast, solid. My personal favorite is the pan con tortilla and in the tortilla i add ham, onions and platanito (plantain), super delicious!

Yelp
I just finished my meal here moments ago. I'm staying nearby and walked to the restaurant. First, the portions are huge! The prices are great, so I expected smaller portions. I embarrassed myself by ordering arroz con calamares AND mofongo. She brought out 2 gigantic portions! She and Zi laughed when she set them down. My Spanish is so-so, and I'm guessing that's why she didn't warn me. The rice and squid was amazing. The rice was cooked with the squid ink and I love that! The sweet plantains on the side were perfect with the squid dish. The mofongo was so good! About very 4th bite had a chicharrón in it. The server was sweet and we conversed with my poor Spanish. She was attentive, patient and smiled easily. It was a very pleasant experience though I was dining alone.
