I was apart of the culinary program a few years ago and although I regrettably dropped out for personal reasons, it was a great experience. The instructors and staff really care about the students and will help in any way they can. The kitchen’s are so clean you could eat off the tables. Being a person of color, I felt included and welcomed. I would highly recommend trying to get a spot into the program if you can.

I went for several interviews for the culinary 10 wk program.. the head chef is amazing, unfortunately I didn't get chosen to participate in the program the problem came when I received the call to inform me that I wasn't a fit. The woman on the other line stated I was over qualified and lived a long life and time to move over and let someone younger come up. What a polite and distasteful way of saying your old. I tried several times to reach out to the head chef but no return call. I'm pretty sure he thought I was calling about the outcome of thier decision. How unfortunate. The words of that woman that day cut deeply. And the effects of her words even deeper. I've read several reviews that stated they felt they were being discriminated against, I can now relate, age discrimination is something I never thought I would deal with.

They are awesome and help the community out in so many ways! They offer showers, undergarments, cat and dog food, hygiene supplies and more. They treat everyone with respect and equality. They participated in the Pride Parade. Great culinary training program as well. They treat their employees, volunteers and students very well.

Great place to volunteer! Part of Community Food Bank; meals for seniors, lunches for shelters, food out the door m-f 2-4 pm. Entry level food service program. Lots of great stuff going on to help the community!

These wonderful folks hand out a large quality lunch with plenty of liquids five days a week, Monday through Friday. Also hygiene, dog and cat food, masks and other extras. Thanks for all you do!

Wow! Took a homeless friend to get some food and drink for the day, they were so nice! They had hot food too! Then there were some nice cold treats on the side to keep us cool in the heat , it was very much appreciated.
