I went back the next day to return stale cashews and the woman cashier asked me how much I ate from it to know that it was stale, despite the fact that you could easily tell I had barely touched the product. She then proceeded to deduct 9 cents for 3 cashews instead of giving me the full refund. I have never in my life heard of this before and I'm unclear how she deemed it appropriate to make up her own value per cashew in the container. That entire refund was unethical and bad customer service. Any reputable place would have given the full refund for selling expired products.
