Great atmosphere very cool set up in there , good service our bartender took very good care of us, did not get to try the food but the drinks did not disappoint, thanks for a good time cheers

We've stopped in as a family for lunch, dinner on a weekend or drinks on a date night.. The owners and staff make you feel right at home. A place you'll enjoy popping in just to say hi when you're in the area. Definitely a hot spot on our list with darts, keno, pull tabs, and fun weekend events including live music and bingo. 🎯

I have been here a few times, each time the staff was courteous and efficient. The food is served hot and in a timely fashion. I get the burgers, they are a 1/2 pound burger and they come with fries. It is a good bar burger and it is very filling. We usually come in for lunch, so I don't know what the evenings are like. The lunch time crowd is quiet. The prices? Everything is more expensive in 2022. The prices seem to be close to what everybody else is charging. The atmosphere is more local watering hole, not a sports bar, or big chain restaurant.

Our server Sue was amazing. She was fast with her service and just a joy to talk with. The food was just as amazing.

Food okay they have 2 billiard tables that are nice, people are always friendly.

We're currently at a benefit and they stopped serving food at 8:45!!! They told us this after they gave us a menu and told us "appetizers only". And it took forever to get a drink.

Stopped in on Saturday for a late lunch. I had a burger and my wife a grilled chicken sandwich. We sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and on top of things. The food was very good and well prepared. I'd go back.

The good: the wait staff is fabulous. Very attentive and kind. The bar is clean, comfortable, and cute. The bad: I had an inedible chicken sandwich. I have no idea how someone could make a chicken breast so tough. I "broke a piece off" cause I couldn't bite into it, but wasn't able to chew it. Fries were meh. I didn't send it back, so I couldn't tell you how they would have handled it, probably nicely.... Again the staff was great.

A great local pub to watch some football and have burger to go along with it, I'll be back!

Well, it is what it is. We popped in on a Friday night. Place was pretty packed up front. We were greeted by some friendly regulars and another friendly guy who may have enjoyed a bucket of beers before we walked in. But I love taking to new people, so it was fine with me. Place was full of regulars and I can see where you can have super fun night out with friends... which is exactly what going to the bar should be. Enjoy!

The food used to be good, not anymore, have eaten there twice in the lat 6 weeks and next time I will just go get a packet of Raman cheaper and better, there is a reason they are advertising for a cook.

Cheap beer, decent food and big asses. It's all anyone on a budget could ask for. They had Busch light bottles which was a + for me. I can't wait to come back when Hoozier Daddy plays again.

Not as gross as the Wolfs Den, but still filled with "local color" The kitchen and bathrooms are dirty. Avoid eye contact with the patrons.

Stopped in early on a Saturday and asked for a margarita. The bartender replied "no, that will make a mess". The place had about 5 customers and she was not the slightest bit busy. Will not be back.

It is a place for friends. Carleton Hotel Bar is where you come in as a stranger and leave knowing where your new home is. The Carleton Hotel Bar sits softly in the middle of downtown Carleton. A place where I grew up and was taught as young boy that only the finest of townsfolk attended. Some of my own personal highlights of attending the Carleton Hotel Bar is coming in and being served a beer within 5 - 10 minutes. Just like that, I was having a brew at the Carleton Hotel Bar. TALK ABOUT SERVICE! No seriously, let's talk about it. The service at the Carleton Hotel Bar makes you feel like you are their only customer. Which is most cases is true. Their wait staff looks at you with a deep meaningful glare as you order anything that is cheap because at the core of you is a broken and hopeless person seeking an escape from the tepid realm of existence you call life. The Carleton Hotel Bar also serves food out of a kitchen a contestant on fear factor likely would not enter. But in the wide open cove is a treasure of smells that under the right level of inebriation might allow you to question how low you are willing to go in your exploration of what another human being call food. I once saw a man eating a can of soup with his hands in-between sets on the pool table which is FREE ON MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS. Can you believe that? Also, check out DJ Manny. Came into town early to get our taxes done, we grab something to eat burgers and salads were great I had a taco salad that was delicious! Very friendly from the minute we walked in the door thanks. Love all the signs on the wall makes it very unique

Love this place! Small town bar. Great place to go to have a drink and catch up with friends and shoot some pool.
