Carlitos Cafe

We hadn’t noticed this place before and decided to give it a try. We didn’t expect it to be packed and it was clearly a local favorite with plenty of seating. I ordered the chicken fried steak dinner, with their Mexican potatoes and onion rings, and I enjoyed it. Mrs. Flip Out had their coconut chicken and it was good. Little Flip Out enjoyed his hamburger and Littlest Flip Out enjoyed bites from everyone’s lunch.

My husband reported that the poblano omelet was one of the best he's ever had. I had the coconut shrimp... let's just say, not only were they fantastic, but being able to eat off the lunch menu at any time is my jam!

We came here for breakfast and ordered sour dough bread, hash browns, and we really wanted a breakfast burrito. However, they didn’t have any on the menu. So, we ordered what was supposed to be the Carlitos omelet with dusted peppers, onions, bacon, and pulled pork with cheese in a tortilla instead of an omlet. Omg!!! It was amazingly delicious! The pulled pork was moist and the vegetables sautéed perfectly. It came with their homemade salsa which was the best I’ve had in Woodward. I would highly recommend this place for sure!

Amazing!!! Oh my goodness, the food is delicious and the customer service is great. Very friendly and the prices were so much lower than we are use to in Tennessee.

Food sucks wasn't worth my time sneaking into town just to get it. Watch out the police will pull you over for 1 thing and find 10 things wrong

Carlitos cafe was great. The food was good. There was plenty on the plate for one or more so, large portion sizes. The service was great. Coffee and water were refilled quickly and when we missed a side of bacon, the waitress pulled some immediately. The owner was very personable and friendly. Watch your step when you leave so you don't fall out the front door. Overall amazing experience.

The BEST special today! Paired with my coffee was 10/10.

I stumbled upon this gem yesterday while working in Woodward. Great food. Great service, and the owner and his staff were so nice. Highly recommended!! Try the ribeye sandwich!!

A great place to eat! We thought we would try it since we wanted local. It was pretty empty when we arrived at opening time (evening hours- they close from 2-5) the waitress was very friendly. Took our orders and although she wasn't in our face, she'd occasionally see if we were ok. Within a short time, people started coming in. Our food was delicious. I got the coconut chicken which was very good and my husband got the milanesa chicken and ham. They were served on good sized platters and generous portioned. The salad was fresh. The homemade cakes were out of this world! We liked it so much we decided to come back for breakfast. There was a constant flow of diners coming in and out. Even though we waited a bit for the food, no one fussed because it was worth waiting for. Carlitos, the owner is Colombian and he's also very friendly as he attends each customer. Every waitress and waiter had smile on their faces. One told us she loves working there. This was old fashioned service at its best. What is rarely seen these days. Everything was clean, the tables washed twice, the bathrooms clean as well as the kitchen!

The New York burger is absolutely the best burger in town. The Mexican potatoes are so good. The owner is almost always there making sure everything is running smooth. Their desserts are also really good.

I absolutely love this place!! There is nothing that you can order that is not good! This local person gives an excellent review! #allstarsincluded Their strawberry salad, okra, chicken dishes, steak, onion rings.....etc. etc. It's all so very good! My favorite restaurant.

Awesome food and tremendous service. Our favorite is the coconut shrimp. All of the entries are great, would love to try all of them if only I had the time. The owner is very hands own and is very courteous. I give them 5 stars and recommend when in Woodward to try

Carlitos is good food, it's a mix of American and Cuban food which is fantastic. Fries are great, the NY BURGER is insanely awesome! They recently renovated and the place is much nicer to spend some time in. Service is usually excellent. My only real complaint is the limited parking.

One of my fav restaurants in Woodward. I've never had a bad experience, the food and service are always 10/10.

Hands down the best burger and steak sandwich the flavors was phenomenal the service was great and quick definitely will be repeat offender.

I really loved the coconut chicken I recently had while visiting town for work. Think of large chicken tenders with lots of coconut flakes in the batter. If you like coconut, it is pretty much perfect. The dish is $11.99, but comes with two sides and they bring out bread before. I don't know if this is always the case, but we had croissants as the bread. They weren't warm however still tasty. Our server was friendly and helpful when my coworkers were deciding what to choose. The menu has a wide variety or Cuban inspired dishes to American classics and even some Asian flair. My dish I guess was considered Asian because it came with sweet and sour sauce. Something I didn't like was the salad dressings were literally the bottles from the grocery store like Kraft or Wish Bone or whatever. That just looks tacky to me, especially when the other sauces were in clear standard plastic bottles. Also it seemed out of place because it was clear that everything is homemade. Why not the dressings?

My lunch experience at Carlito's was pretty average last week in terms of food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience. All of these elements were lacking in some shape or form. I didn't and still don't get the Cuban genre designation for the restaurant. There were arguably too many food options on the menu, many had nothing to do with Cuban fare or Cuban influence. I order the coconut chicken which came with two sides. I ordered a side salad and onion rings. The chicken was good, unique, great portion size. Salad was fine. I had to remind the waitress of my onion ring side. When she brought it out, I received a total of 3 rings- I almost laughed out loud! In the end, I found the entree overpriced for Woodward, OK.

We went to Carlito's for breakfast. I wasn't so sure about it from the outside. Thank goodness I don't judge a book by its cover. We had the BEST omelettes EVER!! My mom, my twelve year old son and I cannot wait to go back.

Outstanding breakfast! Great customer service and great food. The eggs were cooked to perfection, along with the omelettes. French toast special was just that! Special! Coffee had great flavor as well! Over all, couldn't of asked for better! Great job! We will be back! Not sure if I got her name right but Aidee had the best personality! Thanks again for this great experience in Woodward, OK. Ask for Aidee section!

Great place to go for breakfast in Woodward. The omelettes are made just right and the French toast is some of the best I have had.

The best breakfast in town! I have had the egg sandwich, omelettes and the French toast. If I could I would go daily for the French toast!

Cuban food turned Tex mex. Cuban food is delicious. Tex-Mexicano food is great. Mixing both of these together was a Hugh mistake. Salsa gross most just chill powder. Chips were bad. This place has a ok Cuban queso but it goes to show you if you just add cheese to something: it does not make it better. The chicken is great. That's it. Putting it on some of the dishes is just wrong. No passion. Probably too much pride to want to fix it.

This was the best sand wich I've ever had @Turkey bacon sandwich I suggest you get it if you wanna try new things

Good food, family run restaurant. Good for dinner or supper. One of my home town favorites.

Service was good. Food was fair. The beef pepperoni sandwich was unique. The combination worked well. Burger was ok. One in our party said it had an odd after taste. We ate for about $20, so reasonably priced.

I love this place! Me and my fiancé go here almost every Monday! Their chicken fried steak is yummy and he really enjoys their sandwiches. And it's a nice enviroment! Not really loud and not to quiet.

Great little place, about what you'd expect from a cafe, the food came quick and was delicious. They have some different entrees on the menu one I have never had before. It was chicken breaded with egg topped with ham and melted pepper jack...so good. I highly recommend. :)
