20 Best and Most Iconic Desserts in Las Vegas

"Buddy Valastro’s Carlo’s Bakery at the Venetian has been making lobster tails since the bakery launched more than 100 years ago. The delightfully flaky pastry is filled with French cream, a custard folded with whipped cream." - Janna Karel

The Best Cakes in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Leave it to Buddy Valastro, the Cake Boss, himself — to make a good cake. At Valastro’s Las Vegas bakery, order cakes like his iconic rainbow creation with six layers of rainbow-colored vanilla cake filled with sweet vanilla icing and covered with rainbow sprinkles. Or order the carrot cake made with freshly shredded carrots and finely chopped walnuts in a cream cheese icing. Note that the vending machine versions of this cake are no substitute — you want to order from the bakery, itself." - Janna Karel

‘Cake Boss’ Buddy Valastro plans to open Pizzacake at Harrah’s | Eater Vegas

"After Valastro expanded to Las Vegas in October 2013, he proved a natural fit at the Venetian: long lines form at the open-kitchen bakery, where customers are enticed by his famed lobster tails and cannolis seen on numerous TV appearances." - Bradley Martin

Very underwhelmed. I was excited to go here, but the staff are not really friendly. I ordered a lobster tail and a strawberry shortcake but received a lobster tail and a cheesecake. The lobster tail cream filling was plentiful and good, but the outer crust was too hard and crunchy. I expected something a little fluffier. The cheesecake they mistakenly gave me was not good. The cream cheese seemed like a curdled texture and not smooth. Not to my liking. I wouldn't return.

Got a Dubai pistachio cannoli. Maybe it wasn’t super fresh but it was not memorable at all. There were about 3 people ahead of us just grabbing a dessert - no big orders - & it took a good while to get through.

Google
The only reason why I'm giving this bakery. A four star review instead of a five is the fact that there is no form of organization when it comes to ordering. I had multiple people order before me, even though I was standing there initially. And to be open and on, is it really isn't the fault of the employee at the counter, but most people coming inside of here have no clue where to go, where to stand so they just walk up. So when she looks up and yells, who's next and someone steps up that's who she serves. I do understand and do take an account at the fact that this is probably an easier way for the bakery themselves, but it's a huge inconvenience for customers. Now, on to the great part about this bakery. It's Las Vegas so of of course, everything is Las Vegas prices that can be helped. We ordered two items and they were pretty pretty good. We had the treslaches and the white chocolate mouth, which was so rich in flavor. You can tell that it was baked that day and not days old. I would suggest eating it immediately or within the next 15 minutes. As those items do not hold, they're cold temperature very long. We walked around for a bit. And when we returned to the hotel room, maybe there thirty minutes later they were both room temperature. It was definitely worth trying, and I did enjoy them.

Google
We ordered a cake and some pastries, I. Was blown out of the water. The chocolate pastries were so delicious and flaky, the cheesecakes were so cream. The cake was so moist. Such great desserts. The only real challenge was parking to get the order.

Google
Ordered through uber eats. Got there during my slated pick up and wasn’t even started. Had to wait 45 minutes. No apology or urgency. Ordered a 6” cake with decoration. It was frozen and did not have the message I asked to be included. Basically, don’t order here through uber eats.

Google
Was really looking fwd to come here to try out the cannolis. There was a small line ahead of us, and we bought the classic Cannolis and it was as so crispy and sweet, not bad.

Google
Easy access from the Canal Shoppes in Venetian. A little tucked away but just follow the signs from the Canals. Lots of options, pricing is a bit high but you're paying for the prestige of eating a high quality pastry. The pastries we had were really good and didn't disappoint. It was a great morning stop before getting on the strip for a quick bite and coffee.

Google
This place is awesome honestly. I came here to get away from the countryside of Wyoming and this place let me know I was a LONG ways from home. LOL. From the cashiers to the food, I was beyond amazed with how surreal the experience was. I didn’t know where to start when I walked in, but the GM of the place gave me loads of recommendations. She was not lying about that BOMB Iced Tiramisu Latte. It was a perfect finisher after the Lobster Tail that she also preferred. Big shout out to you Alex!! The Pistachio Cannoli’s you hand made were KILLER!!

Yelp
Stopped in for some early evening sweets. We got a vanilla buttercream cupcake, a regular cannoli and a blueberry cannoli. The cupcake was good. The cannolis were okay - liked the regular better than the blueberry. It was fun seeing the bakery shop. The staff were friendly - didn't have any issue. They were quick and we were in and out within 10 minutes at the most, even with a line.

Yelp
The crossaint was hard and so was the inside. I assume these has been sitting for a while and not the item to order. The cannoli's were fresher and it seemed to be the item to try. Not the best I have had but I wanted to try them. This box was 20.00. I gave the low rating due to the croissant. Really disappointed and would skip next time.

Yelp
CUSTOMER SERVICE. It's such a big part of the experience. We ordered a chai tea latte, and the lady at the register said, "Okay, well that's only water by the way." In which we responded saying we thought it was with milk. We want the latte, not just the tea. She said it was only water unless you say otherwise. So we asked for it with milk, and she asked if we wanted it sweetened. "However it normally comes," ..was a mistake on our end, because she said that the latte is only water, so we need to tell her if we want it sweetened or not. It's up to us...Like there is not a pre-set vanilla chai iced latte on that menu that we are both looking at???? We went to clarify that it was a "iced chai tea latte, that has almond milk and is sweetened with vanilla and has chai tea," and then she snapped at us and said she knows how to make one?????? After we got it, it came HOT! She offered to make it iced afterwards, however at that point, between the bad customer service, the understaffed bakery, and the busy ambiance - we didn't really care at that point, didn't want to deal with it, and honestly don't really want to come back at all. I got a strawberry matcha, which to my surprise was completely unsweetened, and not mentioned at all. Most people want to be able to stop by, get what they want, and go. They don't want to wait 30 minutes for 2 drinks (that get messed up) and stay in there any longer with the workers who are so incredibly unhappy there for some reason. Our 3 pastries that we got were good, but we'd love to try somewhere else next time. So so so sad it ended up not being as good of an experience as expected.

Yelp
Let's go to Vegas baby! And have some outstanding dessert !! We need to experience the best of Vegas and dessert! Shall we . Let's find ourselves here at the Venetian Hotel. We are going to have the best because you are at the best local for pastries and cake. What's not to love, if you want a certain type of cake truly it's here. For it's worth the trip and effort to have a nice dessert. The service is amazing here but greatness can take a little bit longer so make sure and have patience . You can always choose to eat dessert here, or "my favorite," is to take it home. You are able to unwrap that Carlos box at home and sit back. It's home time and dessert time in your pajamas after a long hard day. Shall we go for it . Let's do this. When you're in the mood for something special and way above all else think Carlos .

Yelp
CAKE BOSS! I came in with low expectations, as a lot of celebrity chefs are overhyped, and I asked the friendly staff if Cake Boss's cake slices were baked in house...NOPE! Those beautiful cake slices you see on all the advertisements are not made fresh! They are shipped in ONCE A WEEK!!! That cake can be 1-7 days OLD! Armed with that important piece of knowledge, I got two $5 Cupcakes, which are freshly made on premise!: Strawberry Shortcake...very light but moist white cake with sweet strawberry cream frosting on top. Tasted more like artificial strawberry, but I did see fresh strawberries in open kitchen. Good, but not great. Chocolate Peanut Butter...SO GOOD! The Peanut Butter frosting was rich, creamy, with deep peanut butter flavor. The chocolate cake was moist, rich, very chocolaty, and decadent. YUM!

Yelp
Mid-afternoon on a Friday and about a 10 minute wait. We tried quite a few pastries and loved them all. This felt and tasted exactly like Termini Bakery in South Philadelphia - except for the ladies in white uniforms and aprons.

Yelp
Went to get a birthday cake for my best friends brother and the place could use a lot of improvement. Food and customer service wise; the matcha was a 2/10 I didn't really taste any strawberry. The matcha didn't have any sweetness at all. All there pastry are serve cold was given the options to have them warmed up. But the flavor was good. I wasn't able to get the name of the woman who served me but a smile or any bit of kindness goes a long way

Yelp
Carlo's Bakery is one of Buddy Valastro's chain bakeries located in the Venetian in Las Vegas. There's not really indoor seating, but there's benches nearby and all around the Venetian where you can sit. Most people just order pastries to-go. The line wasn't really long when we went and the desserts were pretty fresh. We got the Dubai pistachio cannoli, the tres leches cake and the cookies and creme cake. The cannoli was good, not one of the best cannoli's I've had, but had a good crunchy shell, sweet and creamy filling with chocolate chips, and a subtle pistachio flavor. The tres leches and cookies and creme cake were baked well and saturated in flavorful milk. Both had good textures and were the perfect amount of sweet. The fruit on the tres leches was fresh and the cookies on the cookies and creme cake were tasty. I've been to the location in New York and I'm glad I visited here too!

Yelp
We popped into Carlo's Bakery late in the evening, and while the selection was a bit picked over (totally expected at that hour), we each managed to snag a tasty treat, and left with zero regrets. I went for the crème brûlée pastry, and wow, creamy, crisp, and just the right amount of sweet. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient, even with the late-night rush of dessert seekers. We're definitely planning to swing by again during the day to catch a fuller spread and sample more of the goodies Buddy's famous for. If our first round was any sign, round two is going to be just as sweet.

Yelp
Super cute cake for the BSB show at the Sphere. The cake and icing are very basic chocolate cake. Some of the cakes I have had in the past don't always seem as fresh as I expected. Service however is very quick even if there is a decent line.

Yelp
First let me say I've been to this location a few times before. This time something was noticeably different. There were WAY LESS choices in the case. I waited in line, about 5 minutes. I was next in line & instead of taking my order next the server went to the end of the line & asked if anyone had any questions. Meanwhile I'm still standing at the front waiting. Then she takes the lady's order that was behind me. I say excuse me I was next. She ignores my statement & just says ok what can I get for you? We're clearly in a line with ropes, I'm next, you skip me & the basic thing to do was apologize. Mistakes happen. Instead she doubled down on the rude. We walked out. Vegas is expensive. We walked around the corner & got delicious ice cream in the Venetian. Won't come back. Customer service is important!

Yelp
Good food, terrible service. The store wasn't crowded, but both employees were very short with us. They demanded cash for payment then shorted us 99 cents with no sympathy when they didn't have the change. Not really concerned about the amount, but the situation was irksome.
google avatar

Shaun V.

Yelp
The cannolis here taste great despite it not completely filled in. You can only find the filling on both ends but if you break it in half, there's a sizable gap in the middle. Again, despite that, it still tastes great. Is it worth the price? No, it's not. The thing is, what made this experience unacceptable is the staff member who worked here. She was not hospitable. We understand this place may get busy but when we went, it wasn't. We ordered the cannolis and simply asked for a receipt. I guess it annoyed her that we requested for one seeing that we didn't leave a tip. She rudely got the receipt for us. We just needed it to redeem more points since we're members of the hotel. Would we come back? No. There's nothing special about the place. The ambiance looks a bit cute but spoiled by the rude staff member. You're better off spending your money elsewhere.

Yelp
Yummy in my tummy. I had an apple pocket. I brought it home. Popped it in my air fryer for 2 minutes and oh my was it delicious. I love the apples inside and i love the flaky crust. Its much lighter then it looks and sounds. Try it it's big enough to share but you wont want too lol

Yelp
The shop is pretty and we made a trip over to visit. They have two lines, one to order and one to pay. We jumped in line, looked a the beautiful pastries and deserts, gave our order (cinnamon roll, creme brulee pocket, macha tea and a black coffee) and were then asked to step into line two. We excitedly paid and then were told to stand to the side (where they would call our name, guess this means there is an unofficial third line). Here is where the problems start. They made our macha tea and left it to the side. We told the cashier the drink was ready and she responded that they are really busy (wtf) and did not move from the register that had no other patrons. After a few minutes they called our name for the pastries. We took them and asked for our drink ( still on the counter) and the coffee. She replied they will call when it was ready. We again advised it was ready and on the counter. Nope, not going to leave the safe haven of the register. At this point other people were asking what was going on and we all started laughing that the drink had been sitting there. We grabbed another employee and told them what was going on and if they could get our drinks. He was nice and said yes, brought the coffee and a new macha tea (because the other one was thrown away by another employee since the drink was just sitting there). We finally sat down and tried the pastries....and they were dry. We are definitely not coming back.

Yelp
The original cannoli was superb. Very large selection and the staff were very friendly. Service was quick. I definitely would go back again.
google avatar

Vikki V.

Yelp
Dessert Heaven! Carlos sure knows how to bake. Everything was delicious. Service was a little slow. They had only 1 rep. It was a busy morning. She was so good. It was worth the wait.
google avatar

Anisa W.

Yelp
Lots of offerings on display, have been watching cake boss since I was a child but unfortunately these cakes are better to look than eat. They are so overly sweet I could not finish most of them.
google avatar

Dylan S.

Yelp
The canoli are ok. Tried the chocolate dipperd, peanut butter and dubai canoli. Decent flavors but it was clear they were.made hours ago. Fornthe price, I would have expected them to be filled.upon order. Also teied the carrot cake which is aerved shrink wrapped. It was also ok. Nice, friendly ataff. Wasn't worth the price or drive.
google avatar

Reetu P.

Yelp
This place did not live up to the hype service was good and team were super friendly and had great recommendations. They have a bakery inside where you can watch them ice and pipe. However the velvet and chocolate wasn't as fresh as I would like it to be. Felt like it had been sitting there for few days. Maybe it was an off day but will give this place another try.
google avatar

JerryLyn C.

Yelp
I was not happy. After years of watching 'the cake boss' I could not believe this was the product they shipped. It has to be the fact that they weren't fresh. the cakes wrapped with a cardboard, then cellophane, then into a styrofoam box and dry ice ...finally the shipping cardboard. Maybe necessary, but a Hugh waste. The icing fell off the red velvet which was just sweet. the cake was dryish. the carrot cake was so plain my guests thought it was my usual box cake. Go to Jersey, get it fresh and help save the earth.

Yelp
As a fan of Cake Boss, I was excited to try this place. Location- it's tucked away but right across his restaurant so it's convenient. It's a small shop so I can see it getting crowded Service- average. Nothing special. They weren't rude so that's a plus. Food- I got the cannoli and an oatmeal cookie. The cannoli was good. I like the crispy texture on the outside BUT I found it overly sweet for my tastebuds. Same goes for the cookie. Just overly sweet. Drink some milk with it (or non dairy) for sure.
google avatar

Kelsey I.

Yelp
After a delicious dinner at Buddy V's, I decided to check out the bakery across the way. I was very excited to try out the Cake Boss bakery! Unfortunately I was left less than impressed. I got the cannoli, creme brûlée pastry, and a vanilla cupcake. I haven't had a lot of cannolis but I didn't like it at all, the cupcake tasted like a menagerie of other flavor in the bakery case (like it had been sitting too long and had time to absorb the taste of things next to it), the creme brûlée pocket was decent, I had it the next day. It wasn't so good I'd order it again though. It was extremely overpriced (like everything on the strip) and I left disappointed.
google avatar

Anabelle D.

Yelp
We always get a few cannolis, chocolate dipped strawberries, and Italian butter cookies. All are delicious. We've also tried a chocolate cake slice and cupcake and I can't say I would buy them again. The cake had an unusual aftertaste as if simple syrup was drizzled on it to keep it moist and the cupcake frosting is very thick and also has an unusual aftertaste. We've been in luck the last few times as there hasn't been much of a line but you can expect one even though it does move quickly.
google avatar

Rebecca R.

Yelp
I placed an order through Uber eats and quickly discovered... I'll never do that again got 2 cupcakes they were ok but the cake No Bueno! This is basically frozen cake that has been thawed out and sold to us at a premium price. ** oh they substituted items and one package wasn't completely sealed... after looking at other reviews I see that its the same cake as in the vending machines....ummm I'm cool on that

Kim G.

Yelp
This place is a must stop every time we are in Vegas. They never disappoint. This is my first time trying the peanut butter cannoli and it was so delicious!
google avatar

Shailey S.

Yelp
I tried the lobster tail and classic cannoli, get the lobster tail! I mean the flaky crisp pastry with a custard filling was just amazing, but you need to like that flavor to enjoy it. The selection was amazing and I had to try the cannoli, to say I did. But the cannoli could have been better, and it had too much filling in my opinion. The service was good, I interacted with only one sweet employee who helped so much! Very much appreciated. It's a small dessert shop and the line goes fast, it is right across the restaurant so you can probably get a few of these desserts if you sat down for dinner.
google avatar

Janine C.

Yelp
Growing up, I was obsessed with Cake Boss. My little brother and I would watch it and we would try to convince our parents to take a trip to the east coast so we could try the bakery. I remember a few years ago when we visited Vegas I saw the bakery but did not get the opportunity to try any of the pastries. I was surprised however, there was no line. The location is prime. On my latest visit to Vegas, I made it my mission to try a few pastries from the bakery. I order (2) slices of cake, chocolate covered strawberries, Lobster tails and (2) strawberry eclairs. The cake was dry. The chocolate covered strawberries were...okay. There was no flavor and the strawberries were not sweet at all...just water. The lobster tails and strawberries eclairs were probably the best things on the menu. I did let them sit out a little to let the pastry soften up. The customer service was good and quick. Would I come back again? Maybe if I was really craving something sweet.

Anna Rica L.

Yelp
We used to love coming here for years! Not everything is what it seems to be however we enjoy the lobster tails and the quality of the cannolis. This time, however, whoever was at the register and helping us she didn't have a name tag and there's probably a reason why. She was working on Sunday, October 26, 2025 around 1:30 PM.. Latina , ponytail religious gold necklaces. She was beyond rude !! I have never experienced that much irritation in my life!! Considering we are returning customers, we didn't expect a big experience however I felt bad for any tourist that is excited to arrive for the first time at Carlos bakery . They expect an experience because it's what they see on TV and overall the price point is based on the franchise so they expect some type of customer service. This lady was irritated with every order I gave her. She rolled her eyes quite a bit, and when I forgot to order my cannolis and I asked her to please add it she rolled her eyes, took a big deep breath than said" are you sure!? Is there anything else?!" But with irritation behind it and an eyeroll! I had to hold back my hood side of life because Lord knows I was going to say or do something I would regret .My elderly parents were with me and so were my young children .She placed everything in a bag and worked in a irritated manner and of course never cracked a smile .Look I'm not trying to be a Karen and I rarely leave a review but will not allow this kind of behavior either....I even thought maybe she is having a bad day but if so we are all adults, step to the back take a deep breath and act accordingly .I tried being nice throughout and even prayed for her but I felt bad for the rest of the guests that expected a different experience. I called their number after I left so many times to report her to the manager but never reached a person on the line .Sad

Yelp
We came here on a whim as we wanted something salty and sweet and saw a pecan chocolate chip cookie that looked good in a cute looking bakery. Sadly, we do not recommend. The cookie itself was okay. Honestly, pillsbury cookies that you get at Kroger are better. The service was... okay... both workers did not seem like they wanted to be there and you have to wait in two lines which didn't make any sense. The worst part, the cone cookie was over $5, totally ridiculous. This cookie at best is worth $1 as you barely get any pecan flavor. Overall, please avoid. Hope this review can warn others until service is better and/or they lower prices to make it worth your while.

Chef Will G.

Yelp
Had the lobster tail and what can I say. It is the perfect pastry. The crust flakes off as u bite, then ur mouth experiences a burst of flavor from the sweet French cream. When I was in NY a few years back I went to the original bakery in Hoboken because I had to try these. I realized they are not overrated. I have had these on 4 occasions and the quality is always good.
google avatar

Genevieve M.

Yelp
So many pastry options to choose from. It just so happened that Buddy V (from the Cake Boss show) happened to be at his own shop as an added bonus.

Julian S.

Yelp
I usually don't do reviews like this, This is one I had to make public. I've never experienced service as over and beyond excellent customer service from Amber Evans i believe that's what she said her name was. Kudos and respect I'll most definitely go back

Trisha S.

Yelp
Pastries are good, service was crap. Employees were not friendly or personable at all which ruined the experience. Not a smile throughout the whole interaction. Didn't even put utensils in the bag or ask if we wanted any, how are we supposed to eat cake with our hands?? Drinks don't come with ice and they won't give you a cup either even though they have a big ice machine. Nowhere to sit nearby and enjoy your food. You'd think being a famous and reputable brand they would make sure they'd hire friendly people who enjoy working there. If you're not a people person why work at a place on the strip where you see thousands of people a day. Maybe the rest of the employees are friendly, maybe the 2 ladies working were having a bad day but we did not have a good experience today Sunday Oct 26

Yelp
Meh, I was so excited to try the cannoli because I used to watch Cake Boss. I thought it was so cool that I could try it in Las Vegas. We went for the cannoli and oh my...not what I expected. Mind you, this is my first cannoli so maybe I just don't like cannolis. It tasted oily and the cream inside wasn't that tasty or creamy. Disappointed is what I can say from my experience. Maybe the other desserts tastes better?

Yelp
I, like many patrons, grew up watching Cake Boss religiously and would long to try the delightful treats I saw on my screen. So when I found myself at a work conference in the Venetian, literal minutes away from Carlo's Bakery, I cleared my schedule and booked it there. It took me a minute to find it and because it was a random weekday afternoon, there was no one else at the shop. I got the chocolate crossiant, chocolate canolli, and the strawberry eclair. I also got an iced chai to help me gulp it all down. I got my box of goodies, paid, and ran back to my room in anticipation. It started going downhill once I opened the box and realized one the pastries I paid for was missing. I was on a time crunch and couldn't go back to the bakery to get a replacement so I was pretty bummed out. As for the other items: - The chocolate crossiant was a littly dry and borderline stale - I wish the cream in the ecalir has a more whipped cream texture - The chai def came from a concentrate and wasn't worth the price tag Overall, I was dissapointed which I think is a common theme when peopel meet their heroes (or in my case, eat something they've seen on tv). If you're a big Cake Boss fan, it might be worth it but it's NOT a must.

Susan C.

Yelp
Save your money! We spent a good 20 minutes searching for the bakery shop in the Grand Canal shoppes at the Venetian because I wanted to experience one of Buddy's cakes. We bought a vanilla buttercream cupcake and an Apple pie pocket. The cupcake was no better than a Walmart cake; if you like those, i recommend Walmart's version which is less than half the price. The Apple pie was also very mediocre and not worth the price.

Yelp
My wife and I traveled to Las Vegas for the first time without our own car, so visiting the main bakery location was not on our list for this trip, but to my surprise there was a vending machine for cake at the airport!!! SCORE!!! When we arrived we purchased a slice of Red Velvet cake. It was a good size slice. Good enough for the 2 of us to share when we made it to our hotel. The vending machine even has a fork dispenser on the side of it. So we could have eaten our cake in the car if we wanted to! $8.95 a slice is what it will cost you. Pricey....but it's Vegas Baby! On the trip back home we decided to pick up a few slices for the kids to take home. The kiosk says that the cake is delivered to the machine daily. Not sure if this is true, but both times it was fully stocked. And in all the slices we had, all of them tasted fresh and delicious. The vending machine is limited to only cake by the slice. Had there been other items, I would have probably gone broke!

Yelp
Don't waste your time it is not like New York. Complete incompetent people that will not communicate with you and they still expect a tip when they do nothing. They should close this location. It absolutely does not meet the standards. Do not waste your time in Las Vegas here.

Yelp
Carlo's bakery is a must visit for me while visiting Las Vegas. I am always totally looking forward to buying a lobster tail - lol. They are just too good and tasty to pass up! But believe me- whatever you choose to get from the bakery: you cannot go wrong! The modern bakery has a large window on one side where you can actually see the pastry chefs baking! So cool! The service was very nice and answered all of my questions I had about some items with a smile.

Yelp
As a fan of cake boss, I knew I had to come. It's hidden away at the very end of the venetian and is a bit hard to find. The line was long but went quickly. A slice of cake, however, is around 8 or so dollars. The cake is aggressively mediocre, imagine a store bought generic vanilla cake. You're paying a premium because of the Cake Boss show, but other than that, this cake isn't very memorable. I'd pass on going in the future.

Yelp
Seems like the hype is over. Sorry. Quality/Quantity - We got: pumpkin chocolate dipped cannoli, caramel latte eclair, and a lobster tail. Okay, as usual we over ordered... Then due to all the sweetness, I needed another cup of coffee, so we walked over to the Coffee Bean. All was good. We are still loyal customers even though I feel we eat way too much of Carlo's pastries. Even my daughter is limiting herself to only 1 a day. Atmosphere - Small take-out location. However, you can see the bakers work through major glass windows. But his Buddy V's Ristorante across the bakery is huge. Service - 5 stars today. Price - Approximately $25, which I now consider pricey since the hype is over. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success! From all your television shows to being a producer, and of course all 20+ bakeries and 3+ restaurants with 1500 employees.

Yelp
Stopped by on a whim. Checked out and paid but waited nearly 30 minutes for our drinks. We told the cashier that our drink was on the counter behind her, twice. But she got frazzled with the growing line and said they're just busy. I could clearly see that and would have gladly reached back there to get my own drink. Then, they threw it out because it was sitting out so long and we had to wait again for them to remake it. The matcha latte was watery and flavorless. The strawberry açaí overly sweet. The pastries were just ok (cinnamon roll and cream brûlée pop tart) Plain black coffee was good, although we also waited over 20 minutes for that. Overall, a let down and we shall not be going back.

Yelp
At the bottom of the Venetian tucked away in a corner, you'll find Carlo's Bakery. Anyone that's ever watched Cake Boss will easily recognize the red and white decor and all of the sweet offerings Carlos's Bakery has to offer. I ordered the lobster tail, the cannoli, and a cream puff. Just a note; if you aren't a dessert lover, but love the show, don't be surprised with how much sugar there is in each pastry! I would advise spreading your treats out and having a bite here and there as you're walking through the Grand Canal.

Yelp
Ordered and walked out with someone else's order and we're looking so forward to the items we ordered and paid for and got somebody else's gross donuts. I called twice and it's all automated even worse so disappointing.

Yelp
I've watched Cake Boss since it came out and watched every episode of it. Buddy was like a role model for me because he was a great entrepreneur and at the same time displayed great family values and tradition. I came to Vegas and came to his bake shop first time and Amber helped us. She was such an amazing person that I felt I was living the show. She was extremely friendly told us everything about the pastries and made us feel welcomed. We had two boxes of the lobster tails. Thank you!

Yelp
I honestly don't like anything from this bakery other than the cannoli. The cakes are just good for looks. The lobster tail is so hard to eat and it's dry ... dry like toast! The cakes all taste the same and the rainbow cakes taste like food coloring . The service is a little weird , you pick what you want ... wait to the side, then you pay go back to the side for the cashier to tell you to that they are going to box your items .... Not sure what the first persons job is.... Didn't they take my order and pack my pickiness? It started to get a little crazy and crowded ... there is no organization. The store is too tiny for this kind of service .

Yelp
I don't understand the mediocre reviews. We tried the crème brûlée pastry pocket and the lobster tail. The pastry pocket was tasty, but the lobster tail was phenomenal! Crispy pastry with a light whipped cream inside. It's hands down the best pastry I've ever eaten. So good!!
