Great lil spot! Logan the bartender was STELLAR! I ordered a classic daiquiri and it was perfectly balanced. Tried the ribs and devil eggs- both were tasty. Would def recommend. Chill vibe and friendly staff. Ill be back for happy hour!

Carlotta's has a chic and vibrant atmosphere but don't let the elegant surroundings sway you. The bartenders are welcoming, friendly, and informed -- and I showed up wearing crocs lol. They are here to help you pick the best drink for your palette. They are proud of their mixology skills (and should be!) but are there to share them with you. And there is something for everyone. No matter the drink -- sweet, bitter, sour -- all of the cocktails are balanced, a style i always appreciate. This makes cocktails, no matter the style, easy for others to try new styles. Their espresso martini, which is typically a drink that is too sacharin for my taste, was so even and lovely, I could have had another, were we not trying almost everything on the menu. What i had of the food was good -- olives and homemade potato chips. My biggest "complaint" is that as a vegetarian, not a lot of options. Like if they could have worked the deviled eggs so you could order them without the salmon, that would have been awesome. I think there are some opportunities to make the food options a bit more flexible for modern dietary restrictions. That said, I feel Carlotta's is a great option for happy hour or the first stop on your way for a night out. Set the tone for the evening with well made cocktails and nibbles. How I break down my star reviews: 1 - No. Not if it was the last thing on DoorDash. 🗑️ 2 - Meh. Maybe if I’m desperate, close, and high. 😬 3 - Mid. Not texting the group chat about it. 🤷‍♀️ 4 - Hella solid. Planning my next visit. 😋 5 - Shut up and take my money. Om Nom Nom. 🔥

This place is amazing. Behind the bar, Logan takes care of everyone with grace and panache -- And the food is exceptional. Adorable indoor courtyard, nice little bar and tables, a little loungy area - This place is a true gem! Truly, one of the highlights of my visit to San Francisco. Don't pass up a visit!

Came for SF restaurant week and was disappointed to learn after we were seated that most of the brunch menu was “unavailable”. Only the salad was the option for the starter, no other drinks aside from the mimosa, and the dessert was not available so we had to choose between a sorbet or sundae from the dinner menu. The server was inattentive for the most part and watching the football game on the TV, even though we were one of two tables seated. The only good part was the smoked salmon Benedict, which was acceptable.

We made a reservation for 5:30 before our Masonic show, since it's close. We picked this place for the vibe and reviews displayed here on Google. However, the experience was far beyond our expectations. The server, Shashank M, was genuine, kind, and generous. The food was delicate, beautiful, and conceptual. The drinks were balanced, gorgeous, and smooth. I would come here again over going somewhere new the next time im in the area, which is a rarity for me (usually: new experiences > known great experiences). I can't recommend this place strongly enough

We’ve spent from the late afternoon to close here because not only were the drinks amazing but the atmosphere and staff were so inviting and friendly. Logan and Shashank were very welcoming and made our time here memorable. Not only bartenders but now friends. One of the best little bars we’ve been too and couldn’t recommend it enough.

My wife and I had a reservation nearby at House of Prime Rib, and we wanted to grab a cocktail since we showed up a bit early. We're big fans of visiting hotel bars when we travel because they consistently deliver great experiences. This is probably one of the first times we've ever gone to a hotel bar as locals. When we showed up at 4:30 p.m., the bar was completely empty. It wasn't until about 5:30 p.m., when we were leaving, that it really started to fill up. Little did we know, we had actually stopped by right in the middle of Happy Hour, which runs from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Unlike your typical Happy Hour with a limited menu of food and drinks, the menu here is extensive. The entire cocktail list--normally priced around $16 each--is half off. I haven't seen anything like this anywhere in the Bay. People on social media love to use the term "hidden gem" to describe places that are anything but, but Carlotta's is truly a hidden gem. You do not want to sleep on this Happy Hour. The bartender here couldn't have been more fun to chat with, and for the price and quality, the drinks cannot be beat. Can't wait to stop by again.

Service is very welcoming and professional. Drinks are solid. The Sutter street club sandwich was weak. Sloppy and not a triple decker sandwich that clubhouse sandwiches are named because. The taro chips were tasty. The kitchen operating hours ARE NOT to be relied on(all day menu 3-10PM). They close up around 8:30-8:45PM if not earlier not 10PM as I experienced a few times. Bar not too far behind the kitchen in actual closing times. It's an okay spot but the food needs to be turned up a notch. Or not.....drinks and service are good.

Love the vibe of this place. It's located inside the historic Hotel Julian. The drinks are amazing. Shout out to the bartenders. All the staff is super sweet and accommodating. The food is also really good. They have a super spacious back patio. I think they also have live music some days.

Perfect visit at Carlottas, the staff was exceptional and I can't say enough good things about our bartender Logan! He was so friendly and sociable and made all of my friends feel great! His service was great. Thanks to Sean and his staff for this unique experience, very hospitable. Will be returning in the future, great staff makes it all worthwhile. Thank you! The ambiance was beautiful and classy, very modern.

Our first time here to this hotel, bar/restaurant, the service from Logan and Shawshank was absolutely amazing, enjoyed them so much!!!

We had an awesome experience at CALOTT'AS. The atmosphere and cocktails were stylish and laid-back, and Logan, our bartender, was friendly, attentive, and talented. Highly recommend stopping by!

Excellent friendly waiters and bartenders. We stayed at Hotel Julian 3 nights and each evening enjoyed cocktails and appetizers in this cozy lounge.

Amazing amazing ambiance, service and everything! Such a perfect little spot to grab a drink and the bartender Logan really knows his craft. Not to mention he gives the place such a nice vibe with his friendliness. Will be coming back over and over!

Poor Carlotta, whoever she is, her namesake is a disappointment. I'm not sure how this bar gets such great reviews This is a hotel lobby and the drinks terrible.
