Carl's Jr.

I want better for my brothers and sisters working in these types of spaces. I understand this is fast food, and I can’t expect restaurant service from a place like this, but common courtesy, respect, and decent service are needed anywhere in order for a business to probably flourish. First time eating at Carl's Jr., and I can say the food was 4/10. Nothing to do with the restaurant completely, but I asked for no salt on my fries, and it seemed like they just dipped them back in the oil and brought them out. As far as service, I expected more, especially coming from someone who looks just like you. I was very respectful regardless of the fact that the runner brought my food and kind of just put the bag in my face. Before he walked off, I asked if it comes with any sauce. He said no. I asked if they have ketchup. He sighed and said they were out. Then I politely asked if they had ranch. He walked off, and I just said, "Never mind, take care." Everyone has a choice in this world, and I get sometimes you have to do what you can to take care of your needs, but the world would be a whole lot better if people had a better attitude towards people in any kind of business setting.

So as a truck driver I went in around 12:30 1:00 a.m. no one was there to be found. I could hear laughing by their freezer. I stood there for a good 15-20 minutes. Nobody came. Got off of work. Was a quick shift around 6:25 a.m. went through drive-thru. Was told to come inside to order. Went inside to order. He told me he's causing for shift change after I just sat there watching them at the pump before I went through drive-thru having a conversation for a good 10-15 minutes then as I'm leaving this other guy walks up and he starts taking his order what's the deal with that? It seems like they they hire a lot of lazy people at this location. They make their own hours apparently

I was not very pleased with the attitude the workers had. It was like in was interrupting them. The tea on the floor wasn't even made right. They were backwards, and when I tried to mention, the girl at the counter didn't even acknowledge me. Now on to the food. My burger is had was very, very disappointing, I had a better burger from McDonald. The fries were fine. Definitely will never go by this place again.

Food was cold and expensive. No honey mustard and got my order wrong. Came back the next day just asking for fresh fries with receipt and they said since I didn't call yesterday they couldn't do it. I love carls jr so I was expecting better

This is located in a truckstop. Staff literally walks up mumbles a greeting i couldn't understand, and takes my order with zero enthusiasm. Every member of staff is walking around as if they just can't stand being there. I ordered a big call combo, and the meat was dry had a burnt/old taste to it, and the fries were well past the fresh point. I gave 2 stars strictly for the gold peak tea. Thats it

The Drive-thru has been closed every time I go to this location for close to a year. An employee greets you on the speaker and says you have to come inside to place an order. I'm looking forward to this location closing so a legitimate business can operate in this space. Do us a favor and LEAVE DESOTO!

It is 8:44 a.m. and I had to say hello in the speaker several times. I asked for a spicy chicken sandwich. The lady said they ran out. I've never heard of Carl's Jr running out of a spicy chicken sandwich.

This Carl's Jr is not a participating store in the Carl's Jr app and they have all the advertisements up in the store all of that and just know you're not going to get your rewards and they would not honor any of the deals from the Carl's Jr app. I drove all the way over here from Fort Worth because they've closed all the Carl's Juniors around Carl's Jr is going down. That said shamika the shift manager and the store manager were very nice. It is the store owner or franchisee who is not participating in the app and not rewarding any of its customers. And essentially ripping off his or her loyal customers They even have the sign up saying if you spend $1 and join the app you get a free sandwich don't count on that because you can't use that coupon or that offer I asked the manager today since they are not on the app and are not participating. There are no barcodes on the receipts for you to be able to get any points either. Location is clean and nice.

Did we really just drive over an hour for Carls Jr? Yes...yes we did. This location is attached to a "Loves" which is a typical convenience store but also a very busy truck stop. Truckers can even take showers there, they have a whole system set up where there is even a screen in the Carls Jr letting you know what "number" is next for whatever trucker's turn it is to take a shower. Very interesting, as I've never seen a truck stop like that before. There was a good amount of turn around at this location, steady come and go of guests. Contrary to other reviewers we did not encounter anyone rude or uncaring. The employees seemed fairly content and friendly with guests as well as eachother. Everything seemed pretty clean, too. We received our food in a timely manner, they call out your receipt number and then even say what you ordered out loud. We usually have Carls Jr when visiting California, I will say the buns are different here. They're perfectly shaped and fluffy! In California it's all squished down and never looks like the promo photos around the store. So that's a plus I would say! The kids weren't crazy about the fact their kids meal cheeseburgers came with ketchup AND mustard, though...so if you have kids and they don't like mustard remember to say something as your order. For a family of 4, 2 combo meals and 2 kids meals ran about $35.

Food was cold, cashier took order wrong! Patties are pre cooked and burgers were sloppy made. Reported to cashier but she claimed she was on break and did nothing

TRASH. The lady at the front, can't remember her name but she was DISRESPECTFUL! I know it started with an M. She gave me two ranches, one was open. So I kindly asked to get a different one and she told me I should call the 1800 number and threw 6 others at me . Literally a grow woman acting like a child, I was BAFFLED.

Worst location in operation, went in someone cleaning counters waited and employee in the back saw I was waiting and had to tell me they were closed.

This establishment is short staffed. We drove all night. Waited in line for an absurd period of time. Got to the counter for breakfast. It was 10:31. They would not serve us breakfast. Ridiculous. In addition, the Loves that it's attached to has the smallest parking lot. Pass by this entire establishment. You're better off anywhere else.

People behind the counter don't have a clue. Can see why no carls jr in area Show up on Saturday at 1pm and not taking orders cuz they are so far behind. Yet 3 people i see standing around doing nothing.

In the mood for a breakfast sandwich from Carl's Jr., so I stopped on the way to Duncanville at this location attached to a loves gas station. Ran into loves wash my hands. The workers greeted me very friendly. Got back into my car went through the drive-through and immediately I can hear the tone in the voice a very unhappy worker. No mannerism no courtesy no smile pretty sad. When I came to the window the girl looked at me walked away, went towards the back, and another worker came over to me told me my total took my card, shut the window and walked away. I said good morning to both ladies, and both ignored the greeting, I was very courteous to them and both again responded very rude very negative made me wonder how they prep the food. The gal came out. Gave me my food and I asked is there creamer in the coffee and she goes yeah you got everything dude. Alrighty, then have a wonderful day was my response she rolled her eyes and walked away. The food on the other hand was prepped very nicely. Great presentation. Coffee was hot food was hot and it did hit the spot. Just can't get over bad service workers I don't wanna work or don't want to be there then it brings in doubt if you can, trust what they're doing to your food they really need training and customer service

This Carl's is inside a Loves making it an upsetting experience for me in that respect. But the food is always yummy fresh and served in good time. Before Buc-ees opened I ALWAYS made sure that my lunch and gas stop occurred here. The exit is a easy on off spot. It's just really busy. And parking stinks here too.

I've had Carls Jr many times in my life. Not only did the employees act as though they didn't care at all about what was going on, the food tastes that way. They where having conversations with customers. Threw my bag on the counter and didn't even call my number or anything. Just expected me to know it was mine. Anyone could grab it. The food itself was garbage. For sure not flame broiled. The whole sandwich tasted soggy and just gross. Would not suggest anyone eating at this location until someone squares the staff away.

Mannnnnn never again. I don't do reviews but had to on this one. Kid got my order wrong. Then the girl who called out the order coughed up an attitude cause i didn't say that order was mine. Just rude . Shes lucky i got patience smh... It would help if yall would call out order numbers instead of mumbling off orders . especially since yall are getting em wrong! Thought I was at the circus with that show I got . Like I said never again .

Trash! Paid for a guacamole burger no tomatoes and onions and this is what I get. Tomatoes and onions and no guacamole. 2. Combos for $25 and the orders are wrong! Onion rings are trash too! Never again! Food was also cold.

Ratchet ratchet ratchet ratchet I said no cheese on my burger I had cheese melted all down the sandwich. So I called because I don't live in the Dallas area I live an hour away but when I tell I called no one answered the 1st time I called again and thought I called somebody cell phone the young lady answer the phone I had to ask her is this Carl's Jr. they offered to replace my meal but I think imma take an L on this one bc when I say ratchet baby trust and believe.

Went to Carl's Junior to get some breakfast got a breakfast burrito the nasties burrito I've ever eaten in my life text so much stuff all in it but you really couldn't taste anything 1 minute oil in tomatoes then I was eating some jalapenos just an all-around bad tasting burrito I won't be going back there again I thought the food taste better than that

I'm super satisfied with the customer service at this Carl's Jr. it was my first time having a burger from here and they have a 100% plant based burger It was soooo good Definitely worth a pit stop on your way to Dallas

Terrible service... as we were ordering our food he was acting so annoyed to be there ... although working mornings are rough we understand we work graveyard shift! But, if you decide to work customer service then handle your business and carry on! **Side Note: slamming the window in customers face after you hang them your food doesn't help with your ratings! Hope the food is at least worth the terrible service.

It really sucks that there is no Carl's Jr all over the place only random areas like this here in south Dallas. But that ok I love these burgers from juicy fresh and all so good. I remember them very well in my time in California. I'm so happy we got a few here in Texas. This spot is awesome because it's right inside a loves gas station what more can you ask for.

The food here is amazing the girl taking the order can drink one or two rebulls because she definitely looks and talks like she's tired. But the servers were great I would definitely come back again.

Place is very dirty and we waited for about 10 minutes and no one ever came to the speaker to take the order. We drove to the window and nobody was there. I called, and nobody answered

The employees don't want to be there. I waited for like 5 minutes until someone took my order. The person in the drive thru was calling the other employee to help me, but it took a long time for anyone to come to the front. The bun for my Western Bacon Cheeseburger was soggy, but there was no bbq sauce on it.

If there was -10 stars I would rate that, I'm sitting here in my car January 15 2020 11:45 pm. I kindly asked for sweet tea and I received sprite!!! ‍ then told the young lady " I'm sorry I received sprite can I get sweet tea, which is what I initially asked for?.." she told me " we don't heve tea " yet she was holding a sweet tea cup !!!! I'm no longer buying anything from here, I'm allergic to lemons I'm glad sprite isn't really lemon juice....

This review will only cover the " Bacon 3-Way Burger ". The burger includes lettuce and tomato but I ordered it without however the bacon 3-way Burger itself is a angus patty and bacon in the form of thick-cut, Applewood-smoked strips and crumbled bacon, but the curve ball comes in the form of bacon jam. The jam combines bacon pieces, balsamic vinegar, caramelized onions and molasses and the whole thing is served on a brioche-style bun. The overall taste is very sweet but tasty. It's not something I would order everyday but it is a nice change from your typical burger.

SO. FREAKING. HAPPY! I totally KNEW there was one or two in town, but just randomly drove by the other night... yes, I swerved at almost 9 o'clock and got a FULL freaking meal. WHAT? I grew up with this stuff! It's part of a Love's truck stop/weigh station/regular gas station complex... and the Carl's part of the sign is TINY. Seriously, I had to circle a few times just to get into the parking lot (don't turn in from the access road and take the first right thinking you're getting in from the back... you'll exit the weigh station's driveway and circle AGAIN!) - but it didn't cool my jets one bit. Also, I'm kinda half in love now with the flirty, silly guy with gold toofs running the cash register. Hey, I'm easy. Whatev. Carl's is a little step up from normal fast-food burgers... and although I loves me some Western Bacon Cheeseburger (bacon, cheese, bbq sauce, onion ring), it doesn't love me. Who cares when they have a Charbroiled Chicken Club?! (The CC Salad is the tits, too) So, to set the scene: whole wheat bun, mayo, just-crispy enough bacon, swiss-ish cheese, leaf lettuce (my burning hatred for shredded is well-documented), and maters. LOTS of maters the way I do it (could've sworn it used to have sprouts? Who cares, I'm at CARLS!!). That's the stuff that surrounds the magical chicken. Whole breast , with just a bit of some sauce... not bbq exactly, just a little sweet-ish tangyish addition. And this IS magical chicken - it is so tender and not dry and almost fluffier than usual or something. Hard to explain, but trust me - it was like When Harry Met Sally in my car all the way home: MMmmm! Oh. Oh, mah GAWD! YES!!... like that. Shut up, don't judge - it had been EIGHT YEARS. Also, I texted everyone I know who used to live in CA but doesn't anymore: Don't hate, congratulate! Guess what I'm getting all over my face right now? (Carl's' old slogan: if it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face!) Honestagawd, they could tell me that the sauce is a highly addictive carcinogen that will make me grow bawlz or something, and I'd probably still be back. It's tasty. Cris-cut fries are yum (think ChickFilA waffle fries), as are lots of other things here. Not the point. The food is good, but that's almost secondary to me. Just try it and then spread the word so that this place never goes away, please!

I gotta give props where they are due. As a native Californian, I've easily been to hundreds of Snarls Jr's in my 42 years. I have never in my life been to one as impressive as this one here in Texas of all places. Where if it ain't BBQ, it will probably be some horrid perversion of what food is and should be. Believe me it's few and far between. I've been here 3 time this past week for lunch since I work nearby, and everything was hot and fresh and looked like it was made for one of the close-ups in their commercials. For a damn good burger I would recommend this Carl's to anyone!!

Love me some Guacamole bacon cheeseburger! I think it's the best chain burger out there, but this time I had the new Hawaiian chicken salad. It was very good, the grilled pineapples really are tasty. I'm so glad that Carl's is making a move in Dallas, now I won't have to go on long road trips to get my Carl's on!

I've never been a big fan of fast food, it always makes me feel so sluggish and tired. And the food is usually too greasy for me to enjoy. Carl's Jr. Is that exception. The Polk location has always gotten my order right (and boy is it complex) and they usually are pretty nice too. Customer service is never the highlight at a fast food joint, so I won't focus too much on that. The food is usually hot and fresh, and just the way I want it. Sometimes it takes too long though, despite them need seeming too busy. Every once in awhile I will have to send my food back because it is burned or it isn't hot and fresh, but most days it's pretty great. The prices are a little higher than I would like them, but that being said, I keep coming back.

I came to get some food from this location on Saturday June 27th, my order was taken by Darius who was super rude when doing so, he told me that there were no shakes available when I had just seen someone from the inside with one, then after taking my order rudely, I asked him to please repeat it to make sure he got it all right, he did it super fast and not understandable at all through the drive-thru speaker, obviously bothered by my request, then when I took off with my order I realized he got the order wrong and I didn't wanna bother turning around to deal with his attitude much longer, I will not return to this location, the customer service is obnoxious, this is the second time this happens which is why I'm writing a review on it, I usually go to the location in Hutchins but this one was closer at the time so I wanted to save the trip.

Quite clean and good customer service. Nice to have some food with AC and an outlet to charge the phone. THINGS WERE DIFFERENT FOR DINNER.

I just went to order a hamburger through drive thru, I clearly repeated 3 times that I didn't want mayonnaise on it since I'm allergic. I come home and my hamburger has a shit load of mayo. I'm done with this location is not the first time they mess up my order

Service has gotten bad in the last couple months. Morning or night I have had orders messed up or had to wait for a very long time with only one car in front of me. I hope they get better staff soon because I miss going to Carl's. The food is still good, but I worry about food safety in a situation where the service is poor.

This is located in a large Love's gas station. Plenty of parking spaces. Staff is very friendly, food is mediocre like any fast food. But it's clean, quick and great staff. I have 3 stars because food is just okay. Theres a small game room with a few games, great for families and kids.

The food at this location is ordinarily fresh and tasty, but for the past couple of days, it was not fresh nor tasty...it was NASTY!!! Yesterday, I went through the drive thru and ordered 3 chicken tenders. I noticed that it was ready as soon as I got to the window. I asked her if the food was fresh, because it was for my grandson and she quickly stated, "yes"! Well, NOT to my surprise, it had been warmed over. I also had to ask for my receipt. This morning, I again went through the drive thru and ordered two bacon burritos, which are ordinarily tasty. I ordered one for myself and anther for my grandson, 5 years old. They tasted like dirty water and the bacon was NOT fresh!! Was there a change in management or personnel? It certainly TASTES that way! Lena P.

Worst customer service. Today as always this store is rude and gives you the food wrong. Employees not helpful.

Some items are alright depending on who the cook is. Opens 24 hrs. My all time favorite is the teriyaki turkey burger which I never in a million years thought I would eat b/c it sounds too healthy, but I tell you the taste is far from health food! It's just that good. Also the blue cheese burger was also very good!!
