For fast food? Most especially for a fast food, plant based burger? This is my go to place. I love their fries, their coke is always just right fizzy and their Beyond Burger yummy. Given that not all fast food places offer a plant based burger, I truly appreciate the ones who do. I appreciate this place! I always go through the drive thru. I've been frequenting this one ever since I went vegetarian and did before I made that switch. So, I've been going to this one for a pretty long time. Years. In all that time, employees have always been polite and accommodating and cheerful. No complaints there at all. Yup, this is my go to for a good plant based burger!

We came through the drive through tonight. It was relatively busy but the girl at the window Adriana or Ariana was just so friendly and helpful. The food was good the order was correct but the reason I felt compelled to write this review is because she is definitely a "Superstar" and has a great positive attitude that you so rarely encounter in the fast food world and we need more people like her. Great hire Carl's!

Absolutely PRESTINE! The cleanest fast food restaurant I've ever dined in, the food was SO FRESH and the service was comparable to a restaurant. Highly recommend to any and all! Thank you for the delicious meal and wonderful service!

The tall manager lady is so rude every time.. I stopped coming here because of her and decided to give it another go today and still as rude as ever. If you don't like your job then don't work here.

I initially ordered the chili char 1/3 lb burger, the santafe chicken sandwich, crinkle cut fries, and a lemonade. I realized when I got home that the burger was a double chili char burger and they forgot the lemonade. I went back because they weren't answering my calls. They gave me the lemonade and the manager took the burger and opened it up before reordering the "correct " burger. The remade burger was a single 1/4 lb burger with limp lettuce and very little sauce on it. The chicken in the santafe chicken sandwich was dry and tough as well. The employees made no effort to make up for the screwup. I have no interest at all to return to that restaurant.

I get that it's a fast food place but this is without question bottom of the barrel location. Second time having a really bad experience at this location so instead of giving the person at the window a hard time I waited and called to talk with a manager. I wasn't looking for a refund or coupon, just to give feedback on how they could improve and maybe do something to fix their earned 2 star rating. Nothing positive came from it. I've given up on this place. Carls Jr used to be a great place that I loved when I was a kid. This location has ruined it. There's no saving it. Scrap it and build a McDonald's.

On my frequent trips to San Diego I am always looking for different places to eat. Was glad to stumble across this place. I found the staff to be top notch. I was greeted in a friendly manner upon my arrival. I really appreciated that. And when I ordered my food and needed more condiments, they were quick to respond and wanted to make sure my needs were met on a professional manner. The staff were all busy as beavers refilling the napkin holders, stuffing more straws into the container, keeping the floor tidy, and making sure the guests were all taken care of. I will definitely be going back.

A FINGER NAIL IN MY HASHBROWN!!! How is this even possible???? To top it off all they did was offer to remake my food??? No refund, no I'm sorry, nothing but "I don't know how this happened. Everyone is wearing gloves." I don't know either but apparently they are not all wearing gloves. Can't believe they didn't refund me my money. I was really looking forward to the Breakfast burger. What a way to celebrate my Birthday. I am going to return the second remake because I just can't get myself to eat this food. ‍ I will not eat here again.

So I ordered a 9 piece chicken stars large combo I get to the drive thru pay get my food but when I start askin for sauce the manager I guess had so much attitude. She gave me 1 house dressing and 2 bbq I asked for 2 more house dressing and 2 more bbq she proceed to tell me I already gave you too many and it only for the chicken. Like how you gone tell me what to use my sauce on tf. My need sauce too tf But anyways I'm like well can I buy some Cruella like no. I let her have it ‍. She act like they come outta her check . So you already know what happen next told that bitter heffa give me my money back. I will never go to this location again. PERIOD

I love love love their buns that are fresh baked in-store. It is so delicious!!!! It pairs eeally good w the 1/3 lb thick burger. They also have great bogo free coupons in the mail...and just that is a savings in itself....i highly recommend the 1/3 lb thick burger w the store baked fresh buns. ....yummm!!!

I came to Carla jr on New Year's Eve at 7:55pm and they just up the sign saying they are closed. But it wasn't 8pm I begged him to let me in so I was the last customer of 2021. Raul is the guy who let me in the drive thru and the girl at the drive thru both awesome. They had a smile on there face the whole time thank you very much and happy 2022. It's gonna be a good one!

Literally logged into my account from 3 years ago to write this. Ordered beyond burgers with my friends and clearly showed a picture of my burger I wanted. Then when it was wrong the younger blonde girl with purple mask said I was the one that was wrong. Even said it wasn't on the menu. Her manager even said it was on there. Then proceeded to give me the missing ingredients to let me spread on my burger myself. Not including everything on the orders were wrong and everything was cold. Glad I moved from murrieta. And should have clearly checked this places rating before coming

This Restaurant is always either out of sauces or tells you they can only give you one. This ridiculous when your order is over 20 dollars. Last time I went i said I wanted a refund if they didn't give me 4 sauces and they preferred that than give me 4 sauces for my two burger, 2 large fries and and order of chicken tenders.

Unfortunately I couldn't understand the lady taking the drive through orders. My family was in the car behind me and had the same issue This place hasnt changed at all. Terrible customer service. They asked me what sauces I wanted and of course none of them were in the bag because that job is that hard. Kids toys said it was Scooby Doo of course there's nothing in the two kids meals that I bought either. I hope this place closes down because their service is absolutely terrible.

I purchased chicken tenders and it was the worst meal I have purchased at a Carl Jr...the chicken was cold and dry as if it had sat out all day. The fries were also cold and dry and were not the type of fries I ordered. I don't usually take the time to give a review but I was upset with the terrible food I for which I paid good money.

The employees here need to be properly trained. The Carl's Jr. website clearly states that the breakfast burgers are served all day. When my bf tried to order one they told him that they stopped serving breakfast. And we fully understand that not every Carl's Jr. franchise will follow the breakfast burger all day rule so we accepted that and proceeded to order something else. However it was super frustrating ordering because the employee on the intercom acted like they were putting our order in then had my bf repeat the order because she couldn't remember. When we got to the window we asked a different employee when they stopped doing the breakfast burger all day. She said she was not sure and that they stop serving it at 12pm. We were there at 11:15!? Why the heck couldn't we order it then. So annoying!

I'm only giving this a 1 star not because of the food, the food is always good and on point 5/5 for the food. The 1 star is for service. Let me explain better, the manager, the old lady who wears all black (aka manager) is a absolute bitch. Everyone else working is amazing at their job and deserves a raise tbh especially when being bitched at by their manager. For example; I had came in a few weeks ago (first and last time I'll be going inside lol) and she's yelling at one of the shift leads (who's always super nice to me and knows when it's me) and then, I could be wrong tho, but I believe one of the workers is special needs? And Im pretty sure his name was Gabriel. Anyhow, I noticed he was standing by the soda machine for drive through orders and he was simply waiting for the cooks to make the food and the manager looks at him and goes "what're we doing have why are we just standing here" and then proceeded to give the most noticeable attitude to him and kept telling him and the girl to "stay over there and get these orders out". Now I know, it's a job they aren't supposed to be all fun and games especially when busy but to speak to them as if their lesser beings? If that was me I woulda honestly decked her for speaking to me like that. In NO job should a manager treat a employee like crap. The girl had literally came up to me and my friend and was like "I'm so sorry about that you guys" like wow the employees have to apologize for their manager's behavior? Sad. I doubt this review will be seen by anyone so it's probably just me yapping on, I will add that there's this goth-ish looking girl who works nights who always tries to rush me out of the drive through which is a little rude but she's still nice. Will I be returning? Most definitely, the food is still good and everyone else is amazing. Will I be eating inside? Mmm not if that manager is working. Those employees got balls of steel to put up with her lol

I had the California classic double. There's nothing double about it!!! All I tasted was cheese, the patties were dry and super thin. The bread was almost stale, hard and not from being toasted!!!! I had just drove up to window and the lady had the burger in hand, making me wonder if it was already sitting there. Gross!!!!

The manager at 12:15PM today Veterans Day 11/11/19 has NO customer service skills is rude and refused to give my child his free kids meal according to the coupon from the award he earned at his elementary school. Not only did she take it & not give it back, but she said it would not be honored without the school stamp. Today is a holiday & not only is the school closed but the company shouldn't send the school these without specifying that it must be stamped. These things should be communicated to the school before distribution. Now my child is missing out on his treat after working hard at school to earn it. I understand rules & policies but there's no reason to be rude especially considering it doesn't specify that a school stamp is needed to redeem it. I see why this location has such a low rating.

Curious about the NEW! Hand Breaded Chicken Sandwich. Popeyes has nothing to worry about. Chicken so small only fit 1/2 the bun. Breading very thin and over browned. No lettuce, tomato or sesame bun, just standard small burger bun. Worth the drive to Popeyes, now that's a chicken sandwich!

I'm not sure if there was a new worker, but this has probably been the worst experience for me at a drive through(if that is even possible) for this Carl's Jr. location. It is heartbreaking to experience the level of service I've been given at my favorite franchise. But enough ranting, what had happened was my girlfriend and I decided to pick up some food at this location and it was a simple two large combo #4 and a $5 Chicken Tender All Star Meal. What we had gotten were three small drinks and two All Star Meals. We had let them know that our order was incorrect and they did give us #4's but only one large fries and no large drinks. Sadly to add insult to injury, one of the lids wasn't tightly pushed down all the way and had ended up spilling a little onto my pants. Not worth roughly $26 I spent.

I don't usually give fast food places 5 star reviews because the food is usually mediocre, but the people working at this location of Carl's Jr. were just outstanding. So incredibly kind and attentive. They even came and took the trash off our table when we were done eating and asked if we needed anything else. Great service

Why the 4 stars. It's based on excellent service provided by Elaine. What a breathe of fresh air in a fast food chain. We stopped here for a rest stop after driving from San Diego. I preferred famous star over most other fast food burgers.

The manager Jackie is so horrible here I can't even take it!! Every time I visit this location she is always so rude and yelling at the other employees. Puts such a negative vibe on the whole environment! Makes the employees who are putting in effort, feel like crap. Ugh don't even get me started on the fact they don't have a baby changing table in the restrooms!!! They either need a new manager or her to get some etiquette/personality classes!

This place is ok. Went there on a Sunday around 5pm. Service was fast. Too fast. I live a mile a way and my food was cold before I got home. I like eating at these chain fast food places but they have to take the time to make sure the food gets to a certain temperature. I tried the new california classic burger. It was pretty good. I definitely didn't set my expectations high, but I will get it again. Its worth a try.

This is my fav Carl's Jr location. The blond girl in the DT is sooo efficient. When I moved I went out of my way to tell her I was moving and I wanted her to know she made each order process awesome. I have also eaten several times inside and found it to be cleaned regularly and the bathrooms graffiti free and fully stocked, even with the plethera of idiot kids who "hang out" in the parking lot. There is a kid's playground and outdoor seating. I hope the 2 Western Bacon Cheesebergers for $5 lasts forever!

Rarely come to burger places, especially fast food ones. Had a pretty welcoming experience here all thanks to Matthew. He was welcoming and recommended me the El Diablo burger and it was great. He also stoped by my table once every now and then and offered his assistance to clear my trash or if I needed anything else. Super nice and genuine employee that this restaurant has.

Purchased 4 burgers medium size total came Out to $36.00 around .. then I'm driving down the freeway to get to my destination and i pull out my burger only to see it had a long brown hair in it.. mind you my hair is blonde. Called Carl's Jr. to see about getting a refund for all my food as I didn't let my kids eat their burgers out of being disgusted.. on site supervisor says he can refund me if I bring him the food back. I said I wouldn't have a problem but I'm on my way to Los Angeles for my father in laws funeral so I won't be home till past 10:00 pm .. he said keep food in your car till tomorrow. I said no that's gross I'll just throw it away. So I was unable to get my full refund because I didn't want to leave food in My car for more than 24 hours .. didn't even get a complete refund for my burger . Burger was $12.99 for the combo and they only wanted to give me $10.00 back. Manager said it's all she can do which we all know that's bull.

I stopped here after leaving the bank with my three year old because of course, he wanted to play in the play place. Okay fine. The man who took my order was nice enough, even repeated it back to me. However once I got it, every thing I had asked NOT to be on my sandwich was there, seemingly with extra. I walked it right back in and repeated my order again. Not two minutes later the same gentleman brought me out the SAME burger, telling me it still had mayo on it. No, I said, I'm allergic to condiments thank you. It's pretty pathetic I have to claim food allergies to get what I ordered. I won't be back.

Writing this from the lone at in n out since Carls couldn't seem to get it together today. An absolute disappointment of customer service. My husband and I went through their drive thru today to pick up dinner for us and our son. When we got home we realized my husbands burger was made wrong, my zucchini was "extra crispy", and that our sons chicken stars were hard as rocks. So my husband decided to go get his burger and our sons chicken stars corrected. While he was there the manager apologized and told him that the entire staff was new and this was there first week. Not a huge issue, as long as our food was replaced correctly this time. I then called my husband and told him to ask to replace my meal as well, because when I went to eat my chicken tenders and zucchini, it was all cold in the middle. It's like all of our food had been sitting under a warmer for hours and had cooled off. When my husband asked the manager to replace my meal as well, she had the audacity to ask him if he was just trying to get free food! No! I expect the food I just spent 22 dollars on to actually be edible! Never going to this Carl's again. No wonder you can't keep a veteran staff with a manager like that.

Ok I order - 1 Western Bacon Combo No Cheese a house dressing and a diet coke.....what I get is a Cheese Burger extra Cheese, extra BBQ sauce no onion ring? So I parked and went inside. I was told that they would fix it right away........................ 15 minutes later I get a new burger with cheese on it again after I said NO CHEESE and any extra order if onion rings? I asked if I was being PUNKED and then the manager told be they were extremely busy and asked if I would like something else. I told her NO! I just want a regular Western Bacon with NO cheese. She told be she would personally make sure it was made correctly and it was 30 minutes later. Wow good luck....BTW they charged me for the house dressing they forgot the first time.

This is not a bad place but the one problem it has is it never opens on time, its now 06:10, and their still not serving walk in or drive up., I pass 5 days aweek and I would like to get breakfast because the highway is very close. Have to change to Mc Donalds.

I hate, hate, hate, HATE this location. I've been here several times with my hubby and they always seem to get something wrong. And repeating your order in two different languages and slowly doesn't make a difference. The drive-thru is a miniature version of San Francisco's Lombard Street and when you get to the window lazy employees damn near drop your food on the curb. If you love Carl's Jr., and want to keep your sanity, save yourself the hassle and drive to the Washington (Plaza Del Oro) location instead.

BE AWARE!! I just want to advise others to be careful, if you go through drive through and pay with card they might charge you whatever they want. The receipt on box will be different than credit receipt. Then you will have to fight and threaten to sue for them to finally make it right. I will not be back and advise others to do the same.

Stopped in for a quick bite and restroom break on our drive to see my father in law. One step in the ladies room and there was NO way I would eat here. Not to go into detail but it was gross beyond words. We are from GA don't have Carl's in the south (Hardee's). Hope this isn't the norm.

Ordered a 1/2lb guacamole burger combo at the drive thru. Got my food, drove all the way home. Got the 1/3 lb burger with literally no guacamole on it OR a bottom bun, and the fries were so burnt I gave them to the dog. If it wasn't so far to drive back, I would've, but whatever. For Carl's prices, I guess I expected better food and service.

I have been to this location a couple of times because it is conveniently located near our dentist and our ortho. The location itself is a bit run down, the inside could be maintained a bit and the cashiers look like they are all recovering dope addicts. A bit on the slow side for service. They are indifferent, neither happy to be there or pissed off to be working. The playground, my daughters like (when they don't see kids picking their noses and wiping them on the wall near the door to enter the restaurant, and said booger is frickin huge) Not so appreciative that the parent didn't do anything about a remedy or a consequence for said behavior but what are you going to do about shitty parenting when it's not your kid? Yeah...we turned our heads before we lost our appetite. The play structure is old and I wonder how often it actually gets cleaned, so we haven't been back. But the food was good and we haven't had food poisoning from here, so eh...2 stars 1 for location and 1 for no food poisoning :)

Somehow this Carl's Junior is the only one anywhere who doesn't offer (or at least not fulfil) a military discount. Even after saying they would add the discount anyways, they charged us the full price. Terrible customer service and lying to our face. Wish I could give them no stars at all. It's one thing to not offer a discount, it's another thing to outright lie about adding the discount.
