As an ex Cattle Rancher I know my meats. 1 got 4 rib eyes an some of there pepperd bacon. My rib eyes were grain fed. That's only the way I like my beef. These steaks had to be the best I've ever had other than the beef we raised. The steak would melt in your mouth an the texture was so good. The staff were very kind. There shop was very clean an nice. I know where I'll be buying my meat products. I recommend this company to anyone.

Always very good customer service whenever I go into their store. The product is the best around by far. I love the assortment of sausages they have for sale. The pork chops are thick cut like I like them and the ribs are meaty.

The Carlton Farms pork spare ribs and baby back ribs were amazing on my pellet grill. I used Bad Bones Devine Swine Rub and finished with Bad Bones Beast champion BBQ Sauce.

Purchased 1/3 lb frozen burger patties. Unable to separate patties. Just a frozen block of beef with very poor wax paper separation. Was told no refunds no returns.

I have bought several boxes of beef patties over time. Suddenly they started putting the patties in two stacks in box instead of one stack of patties 1 on top of the other. The patties were mashed, misshapen and not easily separated . And now they changed the bacon packaging so you cannot very well see the quality of the bacon you are buying. I'm tired of good companies going bad after being bought by larger groups. The bean counters start making the decisions. Carlton seems to be on a downhill slide. Can we really trust the new Carlton for the quality we used to get from the old Carlton? I'm not so sure.

Amazing product and Company, so easy to work with , speedy delivery and an incredibly flavorful local pork and beef.

Love love this place! We love the quality of the meat and the pricing is really good. I really like that they cycle their inventory and that I can find their products in stores and at restaurants. I've never had a bad experience here and the customer service is wonderful, the store is a bit small and can get cramped when there's more than three people shopping. There was no change that I could notice as a customer when Rita sold the business off, the new(ish) owners are preserving the quality of Carlton Farms and keeping up that great reputation. You guys have a me and my husband as customers for life.

The ladies who helped me were very kind an knew the business. The meat was so tender an very tasteful. I highly recommend this company to anyone. You won't be sorry.

Really great meats! Nice people in the store and definitely worth the drive. Store and bathroom nice and clean.

I really miss the butcher shops from long ago. Although they aren't exactly the same, this is as close as you're going to get. The people here are super nice & helpful & you won't find anything like this shop anywhere. I've yet to find a product that doesn't live up to my expectations, which are very high. I strongly recommend you pay them a visit.

Love love love Carlton farms!! I'm very lucky to live close by, so I can hop over for my bacon and sausage fix! Everything is always fresh, and prices are so reasonable! The only thing they do not carry is chicken, I wish they would! The bacon and variety of suasuges are our go to. I also pick up smoked ham hocks for my split pea soup. A must visit if you're in the area, and cost much less than the grocery store mark up prices!

For years, I would purchase our Christmas ham from a local grocery store, and it was always hit and miss. Last year, I took the time, compared prices, and discovered that a Carlton Farms ham price per pound was comparable to big box grocery store hams. I purchased a CF bone-in ham and it was the best ham we had ever eaten. That sealed the deal for me, and I am very happy to be picking up another Carlton Farms ham for our 2022 Christmas dinner. Grocery store hams are now a thing of the past for us. Also, the staff at CF is very helpful and their store is stocked with everything from bacon to bratwursts. Highly recommend.

First trial order was 3 lb., of Bierwurst sausages hoping for no gristle. First sausage was decently spiced, casing too thick and......wait for it.... GRISTLE and a LOT of it. Throwing out the rest of them as I am not arranging a meal again around something that may fail again. Gristle in ground meat means one thing folks.......sloppy, careless trimming. Too much emphasis placed on the speed of trimming meat. Time is money. The $ lost for me is small. Sausage not important. Buyer beware.

Great meat. If you get the nitrate free bacon it's about 3.50 a pound but if you get the same bacon ends and pieces it's only 1.50 a pound. You can get bulk boxes of meat for cheeper. Ground beef. Rib eye. Really any cut you want they have also pork. Well be back

Steaks were delicious. Easy in and out but no personality or help from the guy working. I am sure he is just your normal bust ass no nonsense farmer with not much of a personality.

This is seriously one of the best places to get fresh beef. Hands down the best ribeye I've had. The staff are amazing and always willing to help you with any special requests. Amazing company and I'll continue to buy meat here. The quality is consistent and there is never a question of freshness. Would definitely recommend for beef. If you have any questions the entire staff is always willing to email or answer questions. I need fresh meat for health reasons and this company always delivers on quality and freshness. Can't recommend enough. Great job and thank you!

Got tired of nasty tasting beef from grocery stores. My husband and I found out about Carlton Farms and got 10 lbs. of ground beef and a rack of beef ribs. The ribs were delicious and the ground beef is excellent. It smells great and cooks up nicely. We'll be going there again tomorrow to get more. Yum. Thanks, C.F.

This is the best place ever in my opinion. I love that they carry parts of the cow's that you can't find at the grocery stores. I was born and raised in Texas and we are taught to anything and everything edible. So when I found a place that sells sweetbread I was very excited. I am glad I found this place.

Well if your out in the Yamill county and your craving some raw meet this is the place for sure. We have always wanted to visit this place and now we finaly had a good excuse. In the need to source some beef bones cut into 2-3" piece for our onion soup we hit the jack pot. They have just about anything you would ever need or desire in the carnivore department. Carton farms is known for pig and cow, for the most part, seen around town noted on may upscale restaurants menus as a solid supplier. Prices are very fair and service was friendly. If your going like all paleo on your ass or someone elses (weird) this would be the place to stock up on some serious meet. Please no droolling i believe they would think this would be unsanitary in there supper clean establishment.

If they make it and we use it, we source it only from them. It's great to have a local meat supplier that produces such high quality products!! Their store is amazingly clean, and I like that too.
