Carlton Hotel St. Moritz

We loved our time at the Carlton thanks to the incredible staff here at the hotel, especially Frank Kelevenow. We have visited all the beautiful hotels in St Moritz but our favourite has been the Carlton which felt like home from the instant we walked in! Thank you Frank for taking care of our family from the second we walked in! See you soon and we wish you the best!

Our family had the most wonderful time and meal at this hotel. The warmth and kindness of the staff was simply outstanding. Of particular note is Frank Klevenow who looked after us like family and went above and beyond in every way possible. He is a major highlight from St Moritz for us!

Trip Advisor was correct!|This one is the number one|hotel in St. Moritz.|The hotel met us at the train station with their limousine service which is included in the hotel services.|They gave us a room upgrade and the room and view of the lake were incredible. Everyone in the hotel knows your name and we were treated like royalty.|Michael the general manager and his lovely wife could not do enough for us!|Timon the front office manager kept a good eye on us throughout out stay|The breakfast was incredible and the staff could not do enough for us.|They also have a great concierge staff!|There are also two incredible restaurants in the hotel.|WE WILL RETURN

Once a hotel reaches 111 years of service many things become perhaps easier or harder. One thing is certain though - a stunning product combined with outstanding , continuously improving hospitalityservice is a solid given!

A home away from home – pure perfection at the Carlton St. Moritz Staying at the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz is always an unforgettable experience, and our most recent visit once again exceeded all expectations. You are welcomed with exceptional hospitality and impeccable service from the moment you arrive. A special mention goes to the concierge team, whose professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail make every stay seamless and truly special. One of the must-do experiences during the winter season is dining in the fondue gondolas, a tradition we eagerly anticipate each year. The cosy atmosphere, outstanding cuisine, and friendly, attentive staff make this an absolute highlight of our visit. Of course, no stay at the Carlton would be complete without taking in the breathtaking views – the panoramic scenery overlooking Lake St. Moritz and the surrounding valley is simply spectacular and adds to the magic of this incredible hotel. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Carlton team for another phenomenal stay. We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful stay and the Italian restaurant was amazing as well. Make sure to bring an oxygen spray and nasal saline. The elevation is high and dry.

We stayed at the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz in February 2022 for 4 nights.||Located just over 2.5hours from Lake Lugano, this was yet another stay at the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz for our Family of 4. For absolutely breathtaking views of Lake St. Moritz, and a warm, private 'home-like' feel the Carlton ticks all the boxes. ||We had a slight issue driving up to the property, due to the tyres of the car, and the team were able to resolve it, taking the worry immediately away from us, allowing us to resume our short break peacefully. Testament to their professionalism, and prioritising their guest's comfort.||There are several things that make the Carlton special (1) the stunning views, privacy and service, down to the mindful quotes that scroll on the TV (2) the food, from Michelin starred Da Vittorio where you will leave more than satiated; to the breakfast in the grand room with views of the Alps; to the home comforts in front of the fireplace at the Carlton Bar and (3) the indoor and outdoor pools which provide you with the utmost relaxation within the spa area.||As always, throughout the hotel, the main areas and the suite, seemed to be clean.||We would rate the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz a 8/10.

I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing this gem of a location, perched majestically with breathtaking views over St. Moritz Lake. It’s nothing short of stunning. The expansive terrace bathed in sunlight and the hotel’s interior, with its unique charm and cozy ambiance, add to the allure of this place. Initially, my first visit didn’t quite hit the mark, but I’m so glad I decided to return. Giving them another chance was the best decision I made, as each subsequent visit exceeded my expectations dramatically. The culinary offerings were outstanding, featuring fresh, perfectly executed dishes that could easily set a high standard for fine dining. The restaurant staff was the epitome of friendliness and professionalism, setting a benchmark that other 5-star establishments should aspire to. There’s a distinct and delightful difference in the atmosphere here, which I attribute to the leadership of a female hotel manager. Her influence permeates through every aspect of the hotel, providing a special touch that’s both rare and incredibly welcoming. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience that enriches your soul and leaves you longing for your next visit.
