We booked afternoon tea at 3:00 pm and were looking forward to a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, this time it was disappointing. When the tea stand was served, the finger sandwiches were dry and clearly not freshly prepared. For the price you pay for afternoon tea, you expect fresh, high-quality food. If items are prepared too far in advance, it really affects the taste and overall experience. The scones were brought to us very late, and shortly afterwards we were informed that we needed to leave by 5:15 pm because the table had to be prepared for dinner service. It was frustrating to receive the scones only about 30 minutes before being asked to leave, as we wanted to enjoy them properly without feeling rushed. This was actually my third visit, and the first two times were very pleasant. Sadly, this time the food quality and the service were only average, and the overall experience did not meet expectations. It is disappointing, as I used to enjoy coming here, but after this visit I don’t think I will return.

The food was very good but did not live up to expectations for this class of restaurant. Very nice ambience feeling a just bit like a hotel restaurant - granted a very nice hotel. The service was excellent.

The food is looking good on the plates but in the mouth I wouldn’t say that I am really a fan. I liked the service and the desert and also the effort that they put for the food to look good, but seems to my girlfriend and myself that it was too salty. It’s an experience, try it maybe you will like it.

Wonderful ambiance, the perfect scenery for celebration. The flavorful wine was in perfect symbiosis with the courses, carefully selected by the professional staff. Friendly and cozy atmosphere.

We enjoyed the drinks and service at the Carlton Bar, also the atmosphere and design is nice. BUT, if a group of 10 spends several rounds of drinks and someone then asks to get a glass of water to accompany their glass of wine, I find it ridiculous to charge CHF5,- for a small glass of tap water. This shows a lack of customer centricity and common sense. I would understand to get charged for water if it's a standalone order, but not in our setting. Very unprofessional, it really killed the positive experience we had until then. Next time we go somewhere else.

Excellent food, we had an émincé de veau zurichois and a tartare as well as a schnitzel and a salad, everything was impeccable. The wine was excellent, the service was perfect.

Very large restaurant, casual-chick vibe, suitable for big groups. Good food, albeit not extraordinary. Copious. A bit dark inside, but that seems fashionable. The bar is known to make good cocktails but we have not tried them

Nice terrace off Bahnhofstrasse. Menu during main hours nice, during off hours ok. One of the best Ceasars salads in town. When one dessert item was not available maitre and staff made everything possible to compensate the disappointment. They made it. Go there have an relaxed atmosphere and enjoy.

Fantastic meal, exceptional service and great cocktails. We highly recommend going to the Carlton on your trip to Zurich. They do pressure you a little to tip if you are a tourist which was a little annoying since tipping is not the norm in Switzerland.
