We tried a small plain pie well done, and the kids chicken fingers and fries. The pizza was decent, chicken fingers were great, the fries were kinda soggy and didn't taste that good. Everything for just Under $20. We will try different things next time!

I cannot say enough good things about Carmelo's. I work for a local school, and we frequently place LARGE orders for delivery. Even when I make a mistake (which isn't often, but it happens!), Megan and her team take care of us. I think sometimes we forget about the value of a good word along with a dollar spent, especially when we have established businesses like Carmelo's. There's a reason they are an established and valued part of this community, though. They care about their customers, and everyone who works there wants to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. So, thank you to everyone at Carmelo's, but specifically Megan, for taking care of us and continuing to show up for your community.

I placed an order for 20 plain wings with sauce on the side, an extra blue cheese. Pick the order up go home I have wings with sauce and no extra blue cheese. Call back nobody answers

Ordered 2 slices must of been sitting in a unsanitized environment or it was old. Gave me severe food poisoning was sick for days. I dont know how they are still open or let alone pass inspection.

I have been eating here since I moved here in September and I’ve always had a good experience. Until tonight. I got to the bottom of my chicken finger salad and there was a tiny roach in the bottom. Won’t be eating here again.

Pizza is great very tasty, always greeted with a smile buy the ladies at the register and by Mike when I get to see him. They are all great to deal with. 🙂

Good food, good service. They always have great specials. Their hot wings are the best in Bridgeton. Pizza is ok at best.

It’s hit or miss with Carmelo’s. Sometimes my food is prepared exactly how I want it to be and other times I’m upset that I ordered from them because the food isn’t exactly what I asked for. Overall, the food is good.

I just put in an order for delivery. The girl was rushing so fast on the phone. She messed up our order completely. I ordered fries didn't get them ordered the chicken cheesesteak. They sent me a regular cheesesteak. The food itself nasty. I ordered a pizza steak. there's no sauce, although there was cheese and chunks of tomatoes, they need to go back to training and learn customer service and also how to cook so disappointed so expensive never again

I've only been here twice now but both times the food was fresh and the service was friendly. Seems to be a pretty popular spot in Bridgeton given most of the stuff nearby is some form of chain restaurant. They always have a couple decent lunch specials and the menu has alot of options. Cheesteaks and paninis are both good. The server on our last trip was super sweet and even split up our 4 separate checks without being asked to do it! Unheard of these days - most places will either not allow it or huff and puff about it like you're asking them to split an atom. Well done Carmello's. I'll be back.

I used to love this place as a teen, closest thing to ny style I could get and they have some other decent options like the cheesesteak stromboli. Today ordered delivery and i am flabbergasted by the slices of I guess it's supposed to be pizza they sent me. 2 slices of dried up, barely any cheese to the naked eye triangles, not even perfectly cut. Ive never been thjs disappointed before and too bad I didnt have the time to return it because it was unacceptable

This place is F$&king trash. Cold wings, burnt Mac and cheese bites missing food from my order, and rubberized undercooked pizza. Told to come in 35 minutes, arrived in 25, and had cold food waiting for my arrival. Staff was nice, but incompetent.

A couple years ago much better food now you get less food and not that good...staff ehhh

I've been a long time customer here, always had good food, delivered far out to where I live so I always tipped very well. Past few orders haven't been so good. Tonight's order online order # 0366 forgot items off cheese steak and sent not sure but it's saposed to be fried mushrooms, theses are burnt , blacked, and inedible. This is the last time I order from Carmelo's there service has been going downhill lately. If this is what they send out to there customers , I'm not buying

Stopped by after a track day and the food was really good! The ladies even cut the sandwich in pieces for me when I told them I was eating it in the car. Great food!

I Came here more then once the food was cold and under cooked and we were sitting for 20 minutes plus without menus and no waiters or waitresses in sight . Really bad customer service I will never come back here under any reason . More than one co-worker has walked by us and haven't said anything to us. Really disappointed and I will not come back. Tbh you would probably have better custome service at dominos,Pizza Hut,etc.... Make sure to pick somewhere else to eat and not here you will not have a great experience.

In the morning the woman cook great breakfast for their cafe but in the evening for Mannys pizza food is trash. 7 times I ordered wings and either dry, burnt or over seasoned. Tell the woman to train the raggedy cooks at night time

Ok..in a pinch. If your looking for a good slice of pizza...can't beat it! If your looking for very courteous wait staff...the best! Take a pass on entrees, you may want to go spend a few extra bucks somewhere else. We had grilled chicken salad, pasta clams casino and wings...all of which I would pass on if I had a 2nd chance. Three stars for the pizza and the super wait staff!

The food was really good. BUT... the delivery was not so much. It took an hour an a half on a Tuesday night. I called an hour before my dinner break and the food arrived at the end of it. Won't order from them again

I ordered a Steak Stromboli and two small salads. They only gave us one tiny dressing pack which wasn't what I ordered. Now I'm stuck eating dry salad! ALSO...the dough of the Stromboli was RAW! What in the uncooked is going on here?!? I was so upset and when I called to complain, Politely, the man hung up on me before me finishing my sentence. What really got me angry is three days ago I ordered, spent $70 and tipped $15 the food was okay. Tonight I spent $40 and tipped $8 and they give me uncooked food and one salad dressing for two salads! It took them 1 hour and 20 minutes to deliver uncooked food! I'm upset!

Best buffalo wings ever! I love how they have a variety of food choices. I love their cheesesteaks and wings!

Let's face it. It isn't the best food you're going to have. It is decent, nothing more, nothing less. They deliver in a good amount of time so you don't die from starvation. Don't be afraid to order but don't expect 5 star cuisine either. Enjoy.

I started ordering food from Carmelo's thirty years ago when my husband and I were first married. Thirty years later I still get home style meals from Carmelo's for my family. My favorites are the Italian style meals like stuffed shells and lasagna. The desserts are great too. My favorite being the carrot cake with a light, creamy frosting. I appreciate the fact that they have been around for so long providing high quality food for my family.

The food is very good,but after I called about the pizza not made right, the night manager was very rude and swore that they made it correct. I know what I ordered, and she wanted to argue. She's going to be the perfect ex-wife, and employee!

Got pizza from here on several occasions, every time the bottom is soggy and not even light brown.....never getting pizza from here again we had to rebake them in our oven...they were delivered and the cheese had been all run to the side.

I can't attest to the food being good to those who don't share my nostalgia. I moved away and now I miss the made-to-order subs and huge salads in fried tortilla. Typical Italian restaurant/pizzeria fair. The food is made fast and fairly priced. Something for everyone in the family, from Italian staples to fast food faves. I've never dined in, but delivery and pick-up are prompt. And that's RISTORANTE. Get it right (sarcastic finger snap).

Ordered a cheese steak and had food poison for hours. Never again. And the they forgot the cheese and onions. The worse sandwich I have ever had. Again Never Again

I ordered $63 of food delivery and tipped $10. I received the salad without the dressing. I was applied a coupon for a free soda and on the computer said it was accepted. I didn't receive the free soda. The salad really did need dressing so that was ruined. Won't order from there again.

So I gave this restaurant another shot and once again they screwed my order up and gave me the wrong sub! The sub was made poorly and the staff was very unprofessional! Do not waste your money! Go somewhere else

I wish there was a Carmellos everywhere. I really do miss being able to order food late at night! Carmellos has a variety of food from Italian to your basic chicken fingers. There food is always fresh and hot when it arrives. If you don't want to order out you can eat in as well. The little restaurant on the side is a quant area. The decor sets you in the mood for an Italian dinner. The pizza at Carmellos is great!! The staff can change in the front but the management seems to stay the same and is very nice. The prices are reasonable and the deliver seems to get there at a reasonable time. They are very busy so you may have to wait a few minutes over.

They always mess up your order and the drivers always have an attitude. Half the time your food is disgusting or wrong. If there was anything else in Bridgeton that was open as late as them I'd order there. Not worth it

Gets worse every time!! If they aren't totally messing up my order they are forgetting sometime or the food is cold and overcooked to the point you can not reheat it! Today I called to redeem the credit I was given by the owner and I was told I would pay a $9 delivery charge. First of all the credit is my money I paid for a horribly dry over cooked pizza that showed up an hour and 20 minutes later to my address. BAD BUSINESS. THIS WILL DEFINITELY BE THE LAST TIME I GIVE THIS AWFUL ESTABLISHMENT A CHANCE. The people answering the phones have no personality and never pay attention to what you're saying. Its pretty bad when you have to repeat large pepperoni with extra cheese several times and then they lay the phone down when your still talking. First rule of thumb when running a business don't argue with your customers and always be polite. YOU FAILED ON SO MANY LEVELS.

Great food! Convenient local delivery! Our families go to place for good delivery! Our favorites are the pastas and buffalo salad.

I was very disappointed in their food service today, and when I called the manager and she showed no concerned about their customers. My salad was HOT!!! And why do we have to choose a star.

Food is blan and over priced. Pizza is terrible. Go to big johns for pizza.

Great place to grab a quick lunch in town. This is my go-to place with coworkers and a favorite for the Court crowd. Good pizza, good sandwiches, some good specials. Service usually quick enough.

I have been a good and faithful customer for years. Besides good salads and subs they have issues with CUSTOMER service and delivery! I tip at least $6 each trip and with every delivery there are always issues. Grilled chicken salad with no chicken, toss salad no dressing, buffalo wings with no sauce. The driver constantly forgetting something at the store and when you call to tell them they ask if the driver is needing to come all the way back out or will you take credit. Take Credit ? I paid for the item and tipped very well why do I have to order again to get what I should have gotten already? Well, today it happened again and I had it. Instead of arguing I sent a message via YELP to the restaurant asking a manager to call me back. I noted my issue and sent the message. In less than 10 minutes Megan the store manager called me back apologizing and ensuring me the problem will never happen again! She further said that she will give me credit for my whole order. She ensured me that as a customer I am important and if I should have any issues in the future to call and ask for a manager! Today I thought to give up on this establishment but Megan changed my mind! So, I look forward to continue to order from and remain a Carmelo's customer. This started out to be a bad review and great customer service and leadership from management changed my mind. Thank you Megan!

Came up from Florida to visit my kids last Saturday afternoon. Ordered pizza, cheese steaks and fries. Pizza wasnt done all the way and cut ridiculous unportional. The cheese steaks had all kinds of black burned particals in them and the fries were way over cooked. Stop out back at the liquor store around 7pm and noticed there employees buying beer and taking it into there store. No wonder my order was so messed up. Do not recommend.

I love that you can order online and have it delivered. It was the first place we had delivered when we moved here. Pizza isn't my favorite, but I'm not used to N.Y. Style yet. Still thought it wasn't bad. We'll order from here again.

My wife placed an order for delivery and they called 10 min after it was supposed to be delivered and told her that they where out of the calamari. She stated that it was supposed to be delivered 10 min ago and all the person said was we are busy and we have not started your order yet.

Great place to eat. We get take out here a few times each week. And, they give bonus points. We get free food every so oftn as the points build up. Highly recommend.

If I could give less than one star I would. Had a complaint that was escalated to management, and got treated like I was a young child. I have never felt so disrespected, and i hope there is new management in place. You could not pay me to ever order from them again.
