This place should be listed as a national landmark. What a treasure. Just in the middle of an unassuming strip mall, but true Italian flavors. And run by some authentic old Italian guys. They are serving Italian foods beyond excellent pizza. The crust…OMG! The Eggplant Parmigiana for instance. Good eggplant, not a lot of breading. And made fresh, not served from a buffet style pan cooked two days ago. Very very good, authentic Italian food right here in North Dallas

You go to the counter to get your food, but it's authentic and cozy. The atmosphere is quiet, unlike other places which makes you feel at home. It's been running for at least 20 years considering my step-father came here 20 years ago, and it's still a great spot to get delicious Italian pizza for cheap!

Before I get to the food I just want to say the gentlemen here have phenomenal customer service. They made me feel like I was family and you could tell they put their love into their food. Thank you for the most amazing pizza I have had in my entire life. 10/10 , you got a forever customer here ! Here’s an amazing FOURTY FIVE YEARS of good food and service !! ❤️🫶🏼

This might just be my favorite new pizza place! The pizza is fabulous 👌 Cooked to perfection with a light crunch. Just perfect. 🤌🏼

Husband and I found this place while in Dallas for granddaughter's volleyball nationals. We had garlic bread with added cheese and ordered a supreme(pepperoni, sausage, onions and green peppers) medium pizza. I have to say we were so surprised with our food. First of all, the marinara that came with the garlic bread was very tasty as was the garlic bread. Our pizza followed quickly and you could tell it was going to be good. Fresh green peppers, onions and it was all delicious. We ate all but 3 slices plus all the garlic bread!!!! I complimented them when I went to get a box and told them how much we enjoyed our food. They have been there for 45 years doing this. They have mastered it. We're taking our son, daughter in law and granddaughter later this week!!!! He told my we'd made their day!!!! Definitely go here if you are close!!!!

Can't tell y'all how much I love these guys at Carmine's! And the regulars are even better! Honestly probably the best slice of pie in DFW and pasta is always great! Baby approved!!!!

Although I don't live in the area, and I even lived out of state for eight of those years, whenever I am in the vicinity I make it a point to stop here to dine in. Diamond in the rough. Pizza is so delicious. A nice thin slice like you get in NYC. Crispy on the bottom and perfect for 'the fold.' Great sauce flavor and plenty of cheese. Restaurant is clean and inviting. The staff was kind and helpful. We'll be back.

Authentic NY style pizza, order by the slice or a whole pie! Great prices, down to earth staff. Decent local pizza shop that offers delivery. Can't go wrong!

Super solid pizza. Great for a grab and go slice or two, haven't tried their pastas or any other stuff. Classic New York type of pizzeria. You know where the guys in the back are really impatient and almost a little rude ( in an endearing way). I'll definitely be returning for more pizza in the future. Not the best pizza I've ever had but very worth it and definitely very tasty.

I got a recommendation from close friend & I was looking forward trying something similar to a NY style slice or 2 , price was Good but there was tiny bit of sauce and lack of flavor, cheese seems to be low grade , felt like I was eating warm thin (good crust ) with hardly any sauce and cheese on top lack of any flavor and had to add from the dispenser garlic powder, oregano and touch of Parmesan...

I knew I was in for a treat when I walked in and saw 4 60+ year old men with Italian accents standing behind the counter. Fantastic pizza. The sausage is very thin sliced and exceptional. Unique. Finished a 12 inch pie by myself. Crust, cheese and sauce were all excellent. I eat pizza in NJ and NY at least 6-10 times a year and this place holds their own with the best of those. I'll be back (update; I came back and it was just as good the second time. The best pizza I've found in Dallas without a doubt )

I have never ate so many slices of pizza in one sitting until I tried Carmine's. They nailed the classics and I can see why this is a go to pizzeria for many. I love how thin the crust was. Each bite was just perfect and I most definitely will be back

This my spot! Beef lasagna is the best and what I always get. But will steal some of my wife's pizza. Just that old school great pizza feel. Nothing fancy, just a good pizza. We go often when we can.

I'm sorry for not taking a picture of the food before we ate. It was delicious. One calzone, a sausage roll and spaghetti with sausage. The pasta came with salad, nothing special. It was some of the best spaghetti my husband ever had. Calzone was delicious and cheesy. I did add some oregano and granulated garlic because that's what I do. Yummy. The sausage roll is basically a sausage calzone with peppers and onions. Delicious. Will definitely be back. Food prices too. They have week day lunch specials.

Great New York-style pizza for a great price. The older men who run the shop add to the old-school charm. Good service and value..... Definitely coming back slices.

Stopped off for a quick bite before heading to my hotel. It looks like a standard strip mall pizza place. Walked in and started talking to the guy behind the counter. Turns out he's from Montenegro. Had a good chat. I ordered the calzone with pepperoni and sausage. Took about 10 minutes and it was out. Super hot. Cut into it and the steam rolled out. Dough was light and fluffy. The ricotta and mozzarella started to ooze out. The marinara sauce was really good. Light and not super chunky. Great dipper. Well worth the stop in.

This place is literally one of my favorite NY style pizza places in DFW. I have ordered delivery, takeout, and dine-in and have always had pleasant experiences. For this particular review, I ordered a delivery for the first time. After requesting my address and determining whether I had a security gate or not, they also asked for my phone number in case I had to be called to either pickup or meet them. I was duly informed that it would take anywhere from 30-45 minutes for the pizza to be delivered, yet I received mine within 20 minutes and they came to my door. If you are located within 3 miles, be aware that delivery is free! The pizza was served hot. The dough was baked properly and the crust was perfect. The sauce and cheese are light enough that you get all the flavors. For the price you pay, the quality of food is much better than your standard pizza chain. Something I definitely recommend is trying out the lunch specials for this place as they are very filling!

Best pizza I've ever had and it's not close. Great service as well. Couldn't recommend Carmine's enough.

In 1985 I took a very wealthy and generous man on a $10 date. He swore it couldn't be done. We each had a $1 ginormous slice of Carmine's cheese pizza and ice water for dinner ($8 balance). We saw Purple Rain at the dollar theater. At that point, date said, "I still have $6 left, and I feel SO RICH!" Then we split an ice cream sundae ($3.50 balance). After that we made passionate love all night for free. We both agreed: Best pizza ever. Best date EVER.

So glad to find this place! Delicious, authentic pizza! Great antipasto salad too. Next time, I'm ordering extra sauce on my pie. It's so delicious, I could eat their tomato sauce with a spoon.

Really good thin, NY style Pizza. We have been getting Pizza from Carmines at Spring Valley for over 25 years. It never disappoints. The pizza is always consistent and always good. We think the plain cheese pizza is our favorite and hard to beat! Mushroom is really good as well (although just know canned mushrooms, which actually we think better than fresh on pizza with the moisture they retain). The Works (sans jalapeños) is very good as well. This time we ordered 2 medium pizzas (cheese and the works) for 2 couples for delivery and had half a pizza left over. No delivery charge if Carmine's delivers the area - just a tip. They gave me an estimate of 30-40 minutes on the phone for delivery and they were at my door in 22 minutes! Fantastic!

This place was amazing!! We just happened to be in the area and my husband wanted a Stromboli so we stopped by and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere is comfortable and the food is terrific. I had the super sub heated and it was delicious. We will definitely eat here again and after seeing everyone's plate in the restaurant I will get a huge slice of pizza next time.

Just saying, imo, best pizza in Dallas reminds me of nyc pizza. The crust and quality toppings can't be beat

Meh. Not the worst pizza but certainly not the best. Crust lacks flavor as did the pepperoni. Also ordered a "Caesar salad" which was not that at all. It was an over-soaked garden salad. with tomatoes?? Meh. Unlikely to ever go back unless all the other pizza joints go out of business.

Cool little pizza spot. Friendly service, excellent food. Had pepperoni and mushroom pizza with garlic cheese bread. Everything tasted very fresh.

This place is heaven sent. Have been looking for an old school NY style pizza in the Addison for a long time and this place exceeded expectations!

I've been eating at Carmine's since I was 19. I don't like to think about being able to say I've frequented any business for 25 years, but Carmine's is by far my favorite pizza I've ever had. A little slice of NYC here in Dallas, and I could not be happier with their food. My favorites on the menu are the pizza - which can't be beat - and the baked ziti. Dear gods, the baked ziti. So simple, but so incredibly flavorful. Treat yourself. You won't regret it. So much has changed around them over the last 40+ years, but Carmines has changed so little in all that time. Why should it? Amazing food. Fair prices. Attentive staff. Nothing about this place needs to change. I'll keep going as long as they keep making that amazing pizza and pasta.

It's implied Phil did 20 years in the can and would dream of manigot from here, but he compromised... Reminds me of a place Tony soprano would be in the back of eating gabagool 11/10 I feel safe here, but in a dangerous way

Yesterday I returned to my favorite pizza restaurant in Dallas. It was wonderful again. The service was great. The casual interior is still simple and clean. The location still is in a simple strip retail.

It's very good!!!! Loved the supreme by the slice. Very fast and nice staff. Clean atmosphere looking forward to returning soon!

Called in a to go order. Ready in less than 15 min. I'm basic so I always go with a pepperoni pizza. Simple and delicious. Next time I'll ask for a little more sauce but all in all it was good. Mom and pop ambiance.

Had pizza delivered from Carmine's last night for the first time. OMG it was so amazing! I can't believe I waited so long before trying it. We can't wait to go there and try the pastas.

The pizza by the slice (I had Italian sausage) is spectacular! The chicken Parmesan was also great. The large side of spaghetti had the real, Italian-cooking-all-day flavor. Wasn't so keen on the eggplant Parmesan. I'd prefer crispier eggplant. The decore is very small strip mall with red and white tablecloths. All in all, you really should try the pizza here.

This was our first time to order from Carmine's, for delivery, and pretty sure it won't be the last! The delivery was promised within 40 minutes (this was on a Friday evening) and definitely was within the promised time. The large pizzas were large indeed, huge slices, and both pepperoni and cheese were a hit with our grandkids.

I live right around the block, so this is my go to pizza. It's always super amazing. The staff are very friendly, and it's gets delivered before the estimated time EVERYWHERE TIME!

All of the 5 star reviews are kinda wild--it's pizza. Not particularly good pizza, just pizza. Quick though!

We love this Carmine's. Old school vibes, delicious pizza. We get the 18" cheese, extra sauce, cooked extra. So good. I really think they need to change/update their name, so people know they are not related the other Carmine's in Dallas. This is a completely different pizza place. Pro tip: Call in your order ahead and it's usually ready in 15 minutes. You can eat it there or take it to go. They have a few TVs usually playing professional sports. They have local delivery, but I don't think they take online orders (or use any of the apps, as far as I know).

Fantastic pizza, good value. I lived down the street 25 years ago and came here often, I was back in the area so I stopped by for a slice and it was as good as I remember. Might have even been the same old guys behind the counter. Lunch special of a slice, salad, and drink is a good value. The dough is very flavorful, true NY-style pizza.

The restaurant is located in a non-descript small strip mall but we found it without problem. You order at the counter. You wait a bit and they bring it to your table. We ordered a medium pepperoni and olive. It was about $15. The crust is thin and crispy. In fact, it is the perfect pizza bite. And the pizza stays crispy. It is phenomenally good. I lived in NYC for 3 years and this is as good if not better than NY pizza. And it's far better than the Dallas area pizza places that claim "NY style" pizza. This is the real deal. My main complaint is the house salad which is $3 for basically a small bowl of lettuce. There was one tiny half of a cherry tomato. That's it. If you love thin crust and want the perfect pizza bite, this is the place for you. We can't wait to return.

My absolute favorite pizzeria in Dallas! I frequent the one in Downtown when I lived there but I was pleased to find one near my home in North Dallas. Definitely worth every penny and the employees are amazing people

This place is probably the best pizza in Dallas. I've gone to Grimaldi's, Serious Pizza and several other "notable" pizza joints in Dallas. There are a few that make me crave it and Carmines is one of them. The crust is a huge contributor. It's a hole in the wall place which for me is a plus. Nice family owned business and I crave this pizza all the time. Never even tried the pasta because the pizza is so damn good. I don't know that they do different but glad they do what they do cause Carmines Pizza is da bomb.

Pizza pizza pizza!!! Who doesn't love pizza!!!? I can't begin to rave about this great find. I have this place as one of my fav pizza joints. From how fresh the ingredients are to the nice fold of the pie and nice crispy and soft dough. When I'm not ordering deep dish I go here for the right amount of slice. I will mention that we like more sauce on our pizza so we do need to remember to mention to them to put more sauce. Other then that 100% satisfied. My husband enjoys the pepperoni pizza. I do pineapple, garlic and spinach. Just perfect on a nice evening like tonight. Finally not a greasy wet pizza. Also the pizza super delish for the next day in the oven bake for great leftovers yummy!

Food just has no taste at all, tomato sauce, noodles, canned mushrooms, meatballs taste like cardboard. No love in this meal, don't waste your time with this place, 18 $ down the trash can. Swimming in a nasty juice

Usually order pick up or dine in. Tonight was the first time I ordered delivery, and service over the phone and delivery were excellent! 40 mins prior to close and pizza came in 20 mins. Delivery man came up the elevator and I met him there on my floor. Great service, very polite, and fast. Sad that there's no dessert. :-(

My husband and I have been searching for a local NY style pizza place. This is the best one we have had so far in the area. We ordered a large (16 inch) half cheese, half pepperoni pizza to go. The dough was cooked perfectly and the cheese/toppings to sauce ratio was spot on. The menu is full of other food options besides pizza that we're looking forward to trying in the future!

My previous review for the pizza here still stands. Came back here today after over 3 years. The pizza is still absolutely amazingly delicious. My hubby and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were extremely saddened to see that no dine in social distancing was in place. No hand sanitizer. Staff was NOT wearing gloves or masks. They had them around the ears, but pulled down their face and NOT covering their nose or mouth. They do not clean the tables with any sanitary spray. Just normal clear and wipe and toss on the floor or in the plates. I'd recommend take out or not coming here at all again during the pandemic. I hate to say it, but if it's not important to a small business to care for the staff and/or customers. I'd rather give my money to another small business that takes it seriously.
