A lovely friendly restaurant that serves excellent food, in a nice modern style. It may feel counterintuitive to not eat Italian when it Rome, but this is definitely not to be missed.

Absolutely amazing experience. This is some of the most delicious food I've ever tasted in my life! So yummy, fresh, creative, and beautifully presented. Cocktails are also top-notch, and so is the wine list. As a Roman who's been living in NYC for 10 years+ and dining out in nice places very often (I confess to being a foodie), I can say Carnal is really special. Staff is also very warm and welcoming. I now go there every time I visit Rome and couldn't recommend it more! Really hope they'll open a joint in NYC soon! :)

Okay. I’ve written a lot of reviews and said a lot of great things about many places. BUT none of them come close to how delicious this food was. Exceptional. Service was one of the best I’ve experienced. Drinks fantastic. Food was even better. I can’t say anything bad about them. The chef brilliantly combined Latin comfort/street food with a little European flavor and elevated it. Would fly across the world just to eat their food. 15/10! Get the chefs courses—you won’t regret it. Just come with an appetite!

Terrible. We had a confirmed reservation and the restaurant was closed. I understand it was January 1st but the closure was not notified via email or telephone. None of your social networks or website specified your Christmas schedule.

We had the most amazing dinner! The food was EXCELLENT. It was our favorite meal in Italy! And that's saying a lot because there's so much good food here, especially in Rome! The staff was also amazing and the drinks and wine superb! Thank you so much for an excellent and memorable dining experience CARNAL! We're so glad we came! We order 6 things butcher just kept ordering more and more and everything we ate was so DELICIOUS! We ordered the corn waffle 2x!

We tried this spot for something "different ". Definitely not the place to go if your a veggie (like me) ! however my boyfriend said the beef he had was probably the best he had ever had. The servers were super helpful in explaining everything and the restaurant itself was really cool. Would definitely recommend if you fancied something other than Italian!
