First time trying this place. Ordered my food through DoorDash. It arrived fresh, hot and neatly bagged with all condiments. We ordered the Quesibirria and the steak burrito. Both was packed with flavor but the steak in the burrito was very over cooked and hard to eat. The meat in the Quesibirria was tender and paired well with the dipping sauce.The price was very reasonable for the amount of food you receive. Overall I was still impressed by the presentation and flavor of the food!

On one side you have the restaurant and in the other it's a grocery store! The food is delicious for the right price also!! The grocery store is perfect and very convenient! Service is excellent treated with respect.

These tacos? These tacos tasted like the grill was blessed by a tío who’s been marinating meat since the '90s. The carne asada was so juicy it whispered "orale, compa" every time I took a bite. The onions and cilantro weren’t just toppings—they were confetti at a flavor fiesta. And that tortilla? So perfectly toasted, I almost called my abuela to thank her. If you're inviting me somewhere for tacos and it's not connected to a legit Mexican carnicería with a faded Pepsi sign out front and soccer on TV at full volume—don't. These tacos raised my cholesterol and my standards. 🌮🔥

First time here for the four of us. We had fabulous tacos and huge burritos! Lots of flavour and plenty of food provided! The La Gordita wasn't very flavoursome. Muchas gracias a todos! Hasta pronto! Really good value food.

This was my first time trying food from this place and it’s delicious! If you ever want to try authentic Mexican food, this is the place. They serve a variety of dishes from tacos to papusas! I ordered a carne asada tostada and a papusa with frijole and queso. It was so delicious!

Medium sized mercado, wide variety of produce and products, but in limited quantities. Pricing is reasonable considering the area, better than most mercados in the area. They also have a Taqueria with plenty of tables, all food options were delicious. Overall I would recommend and would come back.

Great spot for tacos. Conveniently located inside the market where you can grab some groceries at the same. Wish there was a taco truck that made the same quality of tacos since this is a little pricey

I was craving tamales and saw that they sell them here. I ordered 3 rajas and 3 chicken, 6 tamales total and a side of rice. The tamales were so bland and dry. The tamales were horrible. The masa was soo dry and crumbly. The meat inside had no seasoning and tasted weird. The rajas were the same. Rice also had no flavor and had a bunch of hard pieces in each bite. Huge regret coming here

I've gone here a couple times and when u say it's one of the most authentic places I've found outside of California Now no place like Oakland .. but the tacos here really good I had the carne asada, I've had a burrito , and the chicken enchiladas. All were really good. I've had a really hard time finding decent Mexican here in Ga . I've only gone on Friday's nights so I can only attest to the cooks on Fridays.

This is it. Are you a Californian looking for Mexican food in the south but can only find, at best, Tex-Mex? Well, this is the place you've been looking for. Excellent high-quality food made in SoCal fashion and flavor. I'm so glad I found this place.

The convenience of ordering online is nice. Service is good; my order was ready when promised. But, that's the end of the positives. We had 4 quesibirrias with consume, torta milanesa de pollo, tamale puerile, tamale rajas, and chips & guacamole. It was all edible, but nothing was good. The online ordering was 3 1/2 stars, the service was 3 stars, the food presentation was 3 stars, and the taste was 2 1/2 stars, .

Best burritos I've found so far since moving to GA from CA,15 years ago! They offer dine in and take out. You can also shop for groceries while you're here. I ordered online and my food was ready when I arrived. It was bagged securely, stapled with a sticker on the outside. I ordered the pork burrito and it was DELICIOUS!! Totally hit the spot. It was huge! They cut it in half so you can share it with someone or eat the other half later. It came with a side of red hot sauce. I grabbed some limes on my way out. They have some sides and misc sauces located right in front of the door, so don't forget to grab any additional items you may need. Definitely going to be my go to for authentic Mexican food.

Mi familia y yo pasamos comprar algo de comer rápido y nos antojó un tamales. La cajera muy amablemente agarró los tamales de pollo. Cuando llegamos la casa nos dimos cuenta que estaban mal pasados y con mucho cosa como babas. Nos dio un asco tuvimos que tirarlo obviamente. Yo no recomiendo los tamales es un robo $2.99 cada tamal. Es mejor que ahorren su dinero y no se vayan a enfermar.

The food is amazingly good! Burritos and sopes were good and tasty. Didn't have t o wait too long either. Would recommend and definitely going back.

Queso deep and a side of French fries.... Yes it's a lot of food But well worth it / Tasty Food... This is my New spot.. Ohhh staff were very nice nice...

Years ago I used to come here for authentic Mexican food, but it went downhill. HOWEVER, Recently, I came back & the food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The tacos, torta & burrito are stuffed with flavorful meat, all for a low price. Other Mexican places put a ton of lettuce or rice with a little meat, but this is NOT one of those places. The service is great, the staff is very friendly & I can honestly say the food is very authentic. I highly recommend trying it! I will definitely be back.

If you want amazing quality, fresh, delicious good portion Mexican this is the place! I love their burritos and tacos! I haven't tried anything else but I'm sure it's great, and I deff plan to try more of their items. They offer many sauces and little sides like carrots, limes, etc! It's never a disappointment !

The store is pretty big inside. They have your normal produce as well as a deli and many Spanish goods. I came here solely for the tacos! I came around noon and it was pretty packed inside. I ordered the pollo taco and two asada tacos. The price for tacos were approximately 1.65-1.85$. Not too bad for tacos. I ordered my food to go and waited patiently. Almost 20 minutes went by until I received my food and they made the order for dine in. I was fine with it as I was extremely hungry. I took a bite into the taco and it tasted superb. They put a lot of meat and toppings compared to some other taco spots in my opinion. The steak was beautifully cooked. The corn tortilla was very soft, fluffy and warm like it freshly came from the oven. I would have given this place a five star for being a convenient eatery but the wait really bothered me. It's probably due to them maybe making the food on spot but waiting 20 minutes for tacos that I can demolish in 5 minutes is kind of meh. I will definitely come back if I was in the area again to eat more of their delicious tacos!

A great neat clean little Mexican grocery store & "sit & eat" cool chill restaurant. Everything was nice and peaceful. The staff and other customers were all polite and friendly. The food definitely hit the spot after a hard/easy day @ work.

The food is cooked fresh and our entire family absolutely loves their tacos!! My daughter who is a very picky eater will only eat the tacos from here. Best Horchata!!

Got the carne asada burrito, nothing impressive about it. It is big but that's the only real plus it has going. The meat is extremely grisly. Maybe try chicken but you've been warned!

I've been coming here for awhile now to get my marinated chicken. I would often order a taco or two and every time it was GOOD. This place is the real deal.

I love La Perla. I go about once a week and I can't get enough of it! It's delicious, it's authentic, and it's made with love by the kindest staff. I can't wait until their restaurant opens up in a few months. 10/10 would recommend.

I just moved to the area and was looking for some authentic Mexican tacos and yelp led me here. Staff was super nice. I ordered about 5 carne tacos and 1 carne burrito with a side of rice and beans. Everything was pretty good, slightly expensive and my tacos were a little dry. I was also expecting limes to go with it but they weren't in the bag. Overall when I have a craving I'd come here because the customer service was great and the food was good enough.

I've been to the restaurant and I've shopped at the store as well. The restaurant has a lot of good options and this food is very tasty definitely recommend giving them a try. The store has a lot of good variety of Hispanic merchandise and snacks/candy.

Awesome food. Tamales on the weekends are great. Burritos are huge and delicious. Inside market and meat market is awesome. Can't go wrong. Authentic Mexican food. Inexpensive by my standards and worth every penny. The rice and beans, oh you have to try them. Everything is great.

This place has some great food. Not only is the food great but also reasonable. As you all may know, it's also a market. The reason I ended up at this place was due to me wanting some fresh cracklings. To the Hispanic community its called chicharrones. Man oh man did they have some. They were huge, big and thick. On a lot of them I had to take some of the fat off because it was a little too much for me, however when i got to just the cracklin, the skin part I really wanted, that was some great tasting stuff. Not to mention their burritos and tacos, their seasoning is great. I will definitely be making more trips to this place and also others to see what they have to offer.

Tacos are absolutely amazing. Ingredients always fresh and meat always very seasoned and tasty. I usually try a new spot every Taco Tuesday which is how I found this place, but now I just keep going back.

If you're looking for some real authentic style tacos. Then is the place to go! I got the the Carne Assad tacos on corn tortillas and they give some lime on the side. I also ordered the chips and guacamole and they gave me the optional to add jalapeño on the side. Which I did I wanted the extra spice The prices are amazing too :)

Small place inside a grocery store. Plays authentic Spanish/Mexican music. Food is amazing and very well priced. Get the impression it may have begun as a food truck business as the kitchen is small but efficient. I had the carne asada burrito and chorizo gordita. Wife had the carne asada plate. Son had the kids cheese quesadia. all of the portions were large, ingredients were fresh, and the value is undeniable. My son (age 2) was very happy to give it a shot to eat the entire portion. If my daughter (age 7) was here, she would have been hard pressed to eat the entire portion in one sitting. The cheese used on the quesadilla was very delicious and plentiful. More cheese was used than what we have come to expect from other stores. We will be returning, no doubt. I will recommend to anyone to give them a go.

I highly recommend this place. Everyone is so nice and helpful in that store. Clean and organized place. The cashier always greet you nicely when you walk in. I need to say that butchers there are the best!!! Very attentive and always making sure you get exactly what you want. Always with a positive vibe. Yo recomiendo mucho este lugar. Exactly the kind of "hole-in-the-wall" local Hispanic food joint I've been looking for! Don't let the fact that it's a grocery store and meat market throw you off. Super fresh food, and to be frank, the best lengua I've ever had! Definitely going back!

Amazing!!!!!! The tacos are so good and the servers and cashiers are really nice and attentive. The sauces are also good, both the green and red ones are perfectly spicy! I got the chorizo and steak tacos! It's also conveniently located in a market so there's candy, drinks, and other snacks for sale!

My favorite burritos place to go to. One thing that sucks is you have to pay for extra hot sauce. I eat alot of spice so what they provide is not enough but food is great.

Hay dios mio. Oh my God. This place makes some of the best tacos I have ever tasted. La Taqueria has so much to choose from. Good prices. Great service. And there is a Tienda or store for you Gringos. The store has lots to choose from including one of my favorite chocolates in the entire world from Germany. I will be back. This was my first time at La Perla because my friend had said the food was great. Its a little grocery store and has a mini restaurant inside. Extremely clean which is a huge plus. I ordered a carne asada burrito and it was huge. I took a bite and it was the best burrito I have ever had. The taste of the meat was perfect. VERY authentic and just delicious. If you are ever in Lawrenceville make sure you stop by.

Okay so I've been hear a couple of times and I can truly say that it's a great place not fancy but hey it doesn't have to be fancy to be good plus the fact that it's supermarket I mean it is a good spot to get your small groceries for the house and maybe stop and get a bit. The tacos here are great! Idk what it is about them but they taste really good which is like amazing to me. If you love horchata then hello hit this place up they have great food!
