"On a residential stretch of Seminary Avenue, Carnitas, Carnitas Zamora revs the generator to signal that it’s open for business. A family-owned operation, this taco truck is only open on Sundays and churns out some of the Bay Area’s best carnitas. (After all, it’s the only thing on the menu.) The menu gives you four options of meat: carne (the actual pork), buche (stomach), cuero (skin), costilla (rib), or a mixture. All are excellent options, but if it’s available, try the taco with costilla: tender rib meat that falls off the bone and has a crisp, salty, caramelized exterior that makes you wish every day were Sunday. Best carnitas I’ve had in the bay so far. Super flavorful, and perfect balance of moist but with yummy crunchy bits. Delicious homemade tortillas and amazing salsa. This is a mom and pop shop!! Don’t expect a super fast process, but everyone is super nice and the food quality is 10/10.

Delicious carnitas. This has become a Sunday ritual of mines. The salsas and toppings just elevate the flavors more. Fresh masa tortillas being hand made to order. Chefs kiss! Loving the much needed location change, right down the street from Mills College. Please support this local business. Food is excellent.

Best carnitas I've ever had in my life. Tacos, sides, vibe, and value all 10/10. You can get either meat only or "mixed" with other parts of the pork chopped in - they are both good but I think mixed is more special. Tacos were $3.

No frills taco truck serving some of the best carnitas - crispy, moist, and flavorful bits of meat wrapped in handmade corn tortillas. I recommend requesting "mixed" meat (maciza, buche, and cueritos) and as garnishment, top with their pickled red onions, nopales (cactus pico de gallo), and salsa verde. I wish they were open everyday!

Before they moved to the new location, they were getting SLAMMED by people who saw it on tiktok posts. The new location has been very quiet. The food is still Top Tier, probably the best thing you can find on any given Sunday. If it's your first time, I'd recommend the "mixto", though our favorites are the Cuero and the Buche. If you want the best value, buy by the pound and ask for a dozen tortillas.
