The 17 Best Tacos in the Oakland, Richmond, and the East Bay | Eater SF
"On a residential stretch of Seminary Avenue, Carnitas, Carnitas Zamora revs the generator to signal that it’s open for business. A family-owned operation, this taco truck is only open on Sundays and churns out some of the Bay Area’s best carnitas. (After all, it’s the only thing on the menu.) The menu gives you four options of meat: carne (the actual pork), buche (stomach), cuero (skin), costilla (rib), or a mixture. All are excellent options, but if it’s available, try the taco with costilla: tender rib meat that falls off the bone and has a crisp, salty, caramelized exterior that makes you wish every day were Sunday. Dress them with your choice of cilantro, onions, pickled red onions and jalapenos, and salsas." - Lena Park
